Morning and evening prayers are a set of prayers that a Christian should read twice a day: after sleep and immediately before it.
Morning and evening prayers are necessary in order to remember God, His love and commandments. They were written by saints who had spiritual experience and practice, and became widespread in the 18th-19th centuries. Church fasts usually precede great holidays and last for some time (from 1 day to several weeks). There are different types:

It is always adhered to, with the exception of continuous weeks, when it is possible to adhere to no restrictions when eating food on the indicated weekdays. Unlike Lent, it has a different meaning. Thus, on Wednesdays the betrayal of Christ by Judas is commemorated, and on Fridays the suffering of the Savior is commemorated. There are prayers for every day. When choosing those that should be read during the period of abstaining from fast food, one must remember that repentance, gratitude and praise of the Lord are the basic rules for reading prayer texts.
