Without a doubt, a homewrecker woman causes a lot of grief not only to the wife of the man she seeks to win, but also to his children. Such women bring with them trouble for the entire family of the person they “love.” That is why a very strong prayer from a rival is read to the Mother of God, the patroness of mothers and all righteous women.
If a relationship with your beloved man has just begun to develop, but another woman is trying to interfere with it, then you can pray for protection from her machinations to Paraskeva Pyatnitsa.
Read a conspiracy from a rival so that the rival herself quits
The conspiracy to make the rival become disgusted and quit herself, acting at a distance, is read without the name of the rival and the ritual takes effect very quickly
. Immediately after the ceremony, a prayer is read, which acts as protection from a rival. the ritual on your opponent only once
your beloved man will stop cheating and partying and settle down.
to eliminate a rival
: it can be the lapel of one of the participants, the rival’s friend, or the man (husband).
In the old days, in order to save the family and return to the house a beloved man who had gone to a rival, girls and abandoned wives read a powerful conspiracy against a rival
Is it necessary to say the name of your opponent in prayer?
This question is of interest to many women who are faced with problems in personal relationships. Prayer is not a conspiracy or any other magic spell; there are no uniform canons or rules for reading it.
A sincere prayer coming from the heart from a rival is very powerful. Read without the woman's name, it is no weaker than the text in which it is mentioned. Moreover, often upset and perplexed women simply do not know what is really happening to their spouse. And guessing who acts as a homewrecker, they are mistaken. Therefore, without having reliable information, there is no need to mention someone’s name in your prayer.
How to pray to Paraskeva Friday
Prayer to Paraskeva Pyatnitsa for marriage helps you quickly find your betrothed and marry for love.
Before starting the ritual, it is necessary to understand its feasibility and how ready the performer is for marriage. You cannot resort to prayer if you have evil intentions and a desire to destroy someone’s union. It cannot be used to achieve selfish goals, as well as revenge, quarrels, etc.
The prayer text should be learned by heart, since a prayer pronounced in this way has a stronger impact. In addition, the words must be sincere and come from the heart, otherwise there will be no effect from such prayer.
The words in the text of the prayers can be changed depending on the situation. This will not reduce its effectiveness, but, on the contrary, will make it stronger, because it will express a person’s feelings and emotions better than a text from a prayer book.
There is no need to expect that everything will come true after the first reading of the request. It takes time for the Lord and the Holy Saints to hear the one asking and for the prayer to take effect. It is necessary to attend church at least 7 days in a row. In some cases, the prayer should be read for 40 days in a row to achieve results.
Before performing the ritual, it is necessary to observe strict fasting for a week, do not drink alcohol, do not use drugs, do not smoke or attend entertainment events. It is necessary to devote this time to cleansing the soul and body, eliminating bad thoughts and negative energy.
You cannot ask for marriage with a person whom you know and have long dreamed of seeing as your husband. No names can be named. In this case, there will be no benefit from prayer.
It is necessary to ask the Lord to send a person destined by fate.
Prayer for marriage is not just words, it is pure faith coming from the heart.
It is recommended to mention the qualities that a future spouse should have:
- loyalty;
- tenderness;
- caring;
- kindness, etc.
Also, while reading the prayer, you need to imagine your wedding with your lover, kisses and hugs.
You need to feel the full range of emotions that arise at this moment. You should not ask for material benefits and prosperity, because sincere love in a couple always leads to an increase in not only spiritual, but also material values.

O holy and blessed martyr of Christ Paraskeva, maiden beauty, praise of martyrs, purity of image, magnanimous mirror, wonder of the wise, guardian of the Christian faith. Who is Paraskeva Pyatnitsa
Paraskeva Friday is a Saint who has been revered in the Russian Orthodox tradition since ancient times.
Holy Martyr Paraskeva Friday
The girl was born and raised in a pious family. The girl's parents were very religious and especially revered Friday - the day on which the Son of God suffered terrible torment for everyone living on Earth.
Important! That is why Paraskeva’s parents named their daughter that name. In Translation from Greek, the name Paraskeva is translated as “Friday”.
The girl wanted to devote her entire life to serving God, and in her youth she took a vow of celibacy. She loved Christ with all her heart and spent many days in fasting and prayer.
The righteous woman chose a difficult path for herself, because the pagans became embittered with her and planned to kill Paraskeva. She endured many torments while fighting for her faith. After many hours of torture, the half-dead girl was thrown into prison, where the Lord healed her wounds.
But the next day her torment continued. The righteous woman suffered for a long time for the Christian faith, until one day her head was cut off. Thus ended the earthly path of the Saint and began her path to Eternity.
One day, the temple in which the relics of Saint Paraskeva rested was captured by Muslims. The Saracen military leader ordered the coffin with the Saint’s body to be taken out of the church, but it turned out to be so heavy that several dozen people could not move it.
They tied the coffin with ropes and tied thirteen horses to them, but it did not move even a centimeter. Then the leader of the Muslim warriors said that he would leave the temple and the inhabitants of the city alone if they gave him as much gold as the weight of the coffin with the holy relics. At the same moment, Paraskeva’s relics became so light that only 15 gold coins were enough for ransom.
Icon of the Holy Martyr Paraskeva
Saint Paraskeva has always enjoyed special love among the Orthodox. She is revered not only on the day corresponding to her name - sincere prayers are addressed to the righteous woman every day. For a long time, churches and chapels were built in honor of Saint Paraskeva, and icons were painted.
Interesting to know! The icon of Paraskeva Friday can be seen not only in churches - similar images are in the home iconostasis of many parishioners. Often the righteous woman is depicted as a tall, stern woman with a shining wreath on her head.
You can turn to the Saint with any problem or mental pain, but most often people turn to her with a request for help in finding family happiness. In ancient times, she was also considered the patroness of agriculture.
Paraskeva Friday, what should she pray for?
November 10 became Saint Paraskeva's Memorial Day. Believers did not go to work, but went to the temple to see the icons, brought gifts and asked for help. What can you ask a martyr for today?
- Saint Paraskeva has always been considered a female intercessor and helper. She cures girls from various diseases and infertility.
- To preserve family happiness, they hang her icon at home.
- Women ask her for a good husband.
- Before giving birth, some people hang an icon with a prayer around their neck.
We advise you to study What to do if holy water has spoiled?
On the day of her veneration, fun and hard work are not encouraged. It’s worth spending it with your family drinking tea and taking walks.
While walking, pay attention to the weather; if it is slushy and cloudy, it means waiting for a late rainy spring next year

This is what is known about this great saint today.
History of the church holiday
As legend testifies, Paraskeva was born into the family of a wealthy senator, but already in her youth she decided to lead an ascetic life. When Emperor Diocletian began persecuting Christians, Saint Paraskeva was captured, subjected to severe torture and beheaded.
The nickname Friday is a translation of the name Paraskeva (the fathers named their daughter that because they revered Friday - the day of the Lord's suffering on the cross). In addition, respect for Paraskeva was combined with the cult of the Slavic deity Friday, the patroness of women and mothers. If a saint's name day fell on the fifth day of the week, it was considered a special holiday. In any case, the week in which Paraskeva’s day fell was called Pyatnitskaya week.

Strong prayers from a rival
The true director of Christian prayer, we are told, is the Holy Spirit. He leads us to prayer and “internally” leads us in prayer, making up for our imperfections, helping us who are incapable of the truest, most authentic prayer.
To get rid of your rival, the Orthodox prayer to Paraskeva Pyatnitsa will help.
Paraskeva Friday is especially revered in Rus'. She is an assistant in women's cares, the patroness of the family hearth and household, and the giver of good suitors.
The most powerful prayer from a rival to Saint Paraskeva Friday
“O holy blessed martyr of Christ Paraskeva, maiden beauty, praise of the martyrs, purity of image, magnanimous mirrors, wonder of the wise, guardian of the Christian faith, idolatry flattery of the accuser, champion of the Divine Gospel, zealot of the Lord’s commandments, vouchsafed to come to the haven of eternal rest and in the devil of your Bridegroom Christ God, brightly rejoicing, adorned with the supreme crown of virginity and martyrdom! We pray to you, holy martyr: be sorrowful for us to Christ God, whose most blessed sight is ever rejoicing: pray to the All-Merciful One, who opened the eyes of the blind with a word, that He may deliver us from the illness of our hair, both bodily and spiritual: kindle with your holy prayers the dark darkness that has come from our sins: ask the Father of lights for the light of grace in our souls and bodies: enlighten us, darkened by sins, with the light of God’s grace, so that for the sake of your holy prayers sweet vision will be given to the unchaste. O great servant of God! O most courageous maiden! O strong martyr Saint Paraskeva! With your holy prayers, be a helper to us sinners, intercede and pray for the damned and extremely negligent sinners, hasten to help us, for we are extremely weak. Pray to the Lord, pure maiden, pray to the Merciful, holy martyr, pray to your Bridegroom, immaculate bride of Christ, that through your prayers we may, having escaped the darkness of sin, enter into the light of the true faith and divine deeds into the eternal light of the never-evening day, into the city of everlasting joy, in now you shine brightly with glory and endless joy, glorifying and singing with all the heavenly powers the Tri-radiant One Deity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen".
Moreover, the Lord himself is “prayer in us”; he unites us with the prayer of Christ and the Church, in particular, he allows us to understand the Word of God in the Bible and in the Eucharistic service. These are the two main sources of individual and corporate prayer, combined in the course of every Christian worship.
Worship is a corporate action of the congregation, including all personal prayer: here faith is proclaimed, the belief that Christ truly dwells here with the believers. Hope in the workings of this present God lives in the holy Word and rituals, and brotherly love is visibly manifested in the assembly of believers when a Christian prayer is offered to the Lord by a deserted wife for her ex-husband .
There is a 100% white way to attract true love into your life and restore family relationships! The Bible is replete with instances where God called to a specific person. In the garden of Genesis, God calls to a man: “Adam, where are you? Why are you hiding? What did you do?" (cf. Gen. 3:9 ff.). Patriarch Abraham sets out on a journey when God commands him (Gen. 12:4). God calls to Moses from the Burning Bush (Ex. 3:25).
Christ himself listened to his Father at the most important moments of his life: the Gospels often show him at prayer, alone, in a deserted place, far from the crowd. Likewise, Orthodox prayers for their ex-husband . In addition, Jesus also happens at random moments, among the crowd, to express his gratitude to God for the help sent into the world through him: “Father! I thank You that You heard Me” (John 11:41). Samuel, the future prophet, hears someone calling his name at night (1 Samuel 3:3-9).
There are various forms of prayer: prayer-worship and a call to God, prayer of petition and thanksgiving, prayer of the heart or prayer according to memorized formulas, solitary prayer or prayer at a divine service. And they have different purposes. For example: Orthodox prayer for deliverance from a rival, a strong prayer for an ex-husband, etc.
“We do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be expressed” (Rom. 8:26).

You shone with the power of your piety, your chastity and righteousness, like the rays of the sun, living holy among the infidels and fearlessly preaching Christ God to them.
You, from the days of your youth, taught by your parents, have always reverently honored the days of the redemptive passions of our Lord Jesus Christ, for His sake you yourself voluntarily suffered.
You, by the right hand of the Angel of God, miraculously healed from incurable wounds and receiving indescribable lightness, amazed the unfaithful tormentors.
You, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the power of your prayer in the pagan temple, having cast down all the idols, you have crushed them to dust.
You, scorched by the lights, with your single prayer to the omnipotent Lord, you extinguished the natural fire, and with the same flame, miraculously kindled through the Angel of God, having burned the frantic lawless people, you led many people to the knowledge of the true God.
You, for the glory of the Lord, having accepted the beheading of your head by the sword from the tormentors, you valiantly ended your suffering feat, ascending with your soul to Heaven,
to the palace of your longed-for Bridegroom, Christ the King of Glory, joyfully greeting you with this heavenly voice: “Rejoice, ye righteous, for the martyr Paraskeva was crowned!”
In the same way, today we greet you, long-suffering one, and, looking at your holy icon, we cry out to you with tenderness: all-honorable Paraskeva!
We know that you have great boldness towards the Lord:
pray to Him, the Lover of Mankind, and for us who stand and pray for you.
May He give us, like you, patience and complacency in troubles and sorrowful circumstances;
We advise you to study the Icon of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary
May He, through your intercession and intercession, grant a joyful, prosperous and peaceful life, health and salvation, and good haste in everything to our beloved fatherland, may He bestow His holy blessing and peace,
and may your holy prayers grant to all Orthodox Christians confirmation in faith, piety and holiness, and advancement in Christian love and all virtues;
may he cleanse us sinners from all filth and vice;
may He protect us with His holy angels, may He intercede, preserve and have mercy on everyone with His holy grace and make us heirs and partakers of His Heavenly Kingdom.

The meaning of prayers to Paraskeva Friday
The Holy Martyr Paraskeva Friday was born in the city of Iconium in Asia Minor (the territory of modern Turkey) during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. Pious parents who believed in the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the grace of Jesus Christ sacredly honored Friday. According to the Holy Scriptures, it was on this day that Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross. In memory of the suffering of the Lord, they named their daughter Paraskeva, which translated from Greek means “Friday.”
Believers and pious parents instilled in their daughter a love of God and the Christian faith. At a young age, Paraskeva was orphaned, but did not renounce her faith. Having loved Jesus Christ with all her heart, the young girl took a vow of virginity and celibacy.
Paraskeva strictly fulfilled the commandments of God, helped the poor and suffering, welcomed the destitute and homeless into her home, and spread the Christian faith among dissidents and pagans.
During the reign of Emperor Diocletian, severe persecution of Orthodox Christians began. The ruler of Lycaonia, Aetius, fulfilling the order of the emperor, ordered the capture of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa. Aetius, being a connoisseur of youth and female beauty, suggested that the young girl renounce the Christian faith and make a sacrifice to pagan idols. Not wanting to renounce God and the Christian faith, she was subjected to cruel torture and torture.
The exhausted body of the half-dead Paraskeva was thrown into prison. The next morning, the prison guards did not find a single wound on the body of the young woman who was sitting on the floor and chanting prayers. Furious with hatred and cruelty, ruler Aetius gave the order to hang the young maiden on a tree and burn her with torches. However, the fire did not cause her any harm. The angry ruler ordered the young Christian woman’s head to be cut off - and thus the torture of the holy great martyr ended.
The day after the death of Paraskeva, the ruler of Lycaonia, Aetius, went hunting. Suddenly the horse under him reared up and threw its rider off. Aetius fell to the ground and died.
After the death of the ruler, the believing Christians of Lycaonia were able to bury the body of the holy great martyr.
Paraskeva Pyatnitsa is considered the patroness of marriage and the keeper of the family hearth. Reading the prayer to the holy great martyr, Orthodox Christians ask:
- heal the soul and body from psychological and physiological ailments;
- restore faith, bless and guide you on the true path;
- provide assistance in finding a faithful and pious spouse;
- to grant women's happiness of motherhood;
- protect and care for small children;
- help preserve and increase family happiness and well-being;
- protect and protect the spouse from the spell of rivals;
- bless and help maintain peace in the family.
Orthodox Christians have always treated Paraskeva Pyatnitsa with special love and attention, honoring her on a par with the Most Holy Theotokos and God's saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The Holy Great Martyr, listening to the sincerity of the prayers and petitions of those praying, always came to their defense and took them under her care.
In order for a prayer to be heard by higher powers, one must speak sincerely and openly, every word of the petition must come from the heart. You cannot turn to God, the Mother of God and the holy saints, experiencing anger, hatred and envy in your heart.

Traditions and rituals on Paraskeva Friday
November 10 is considered the saint's day of remembrance; on this date services are held, parishioners bring fruits to the church for consecration and pray for their needs. In folk traditions, church teachings about the Great Martyr were intertwined with pagan ideas, in which Paraskeva was considered a female deity who patronized spinning and weaving. Therefore, in addition to the traditions prescribed by the church, there are many rituals designed to attract the help of the holy great martyr.
Paraskeva also patronizes the preservation of livestock from death, the fertility of fields and trade relations. Based on this, in the old days the custom arose of organizing fairs on Fridays.
Rituals and conspiracies
The folk cult of Paraskeva Friday included many traditions:
- Before the harvest, one of the older village housewives went out into the field late at night and reaped the first sheaf. After which she put it on the ground and prayed to Paraskeva three times for a successful start and end of the harvest. Having bowed to four sides, the hostess took the sheaf home, trying not to meet anyone along the way.
- On the saint’s day of remembrance, November 10, unmarried girls carried frayed linen out the gate, showing their future husbands and mothers-in-law their art. This ritual was called “linen viewing”. Also, Friday was considered a day when weaving, spinning and sewing were prohibited.
- On November 10, the girls turned to the great martyr with the words “Saint Praskovea, send me a groom as soon as possible.” It was believed that such an appeal to the saint would bring a quick and profitable marriage.
- In order to get married, you had to get up earlier than everyone else on Paraskeva Day, come to the temple, light a holy candle and pray for a quick wedding.
Fortune telling and omens
On the day of Saint Paraskeva in Rus' it was customary to tell fortunes about dreams. That evening, the unmarried girl went to bed with her hair down and without a cross.
For love magic to work, gifts from the betrothed should be placed under the pillow:
- mirror;
- crest;
- a piece of soap;
- handkerchief.
If you dream of a dear friend and are affectionate in your dream, it means it’s time to prepare for the wedding. And if a nightmare came, you were supposed to wash your face with cold water before noon - always running water or a well. And also have time to tell as many people as possible about the nightmare before mid-day - then the dream did not come true.
On the night of Paraskeva, many were carried away by divination for the love and talent of a spouse, just as on the Intercession. There was bread to be baked, the table to be covered with a linen tablecloth, and two cutlery to be placed. And then sit down yourself and invite your betrothed to taste the bread and salt. After which it was necessary to go to bed. In a dream, according to legend, the future groom always appeared.
There were also a number of signs associated with Paraskeva’s name day, here are just a few of them:
- to see a trace of a horse's hoof in which there is water - by the onset of winter in exactly a month;
- a lot of dirt on fields and roads - for a rainy spring;
- Paraskeva was forbidden to work in the fields - it was believed that this would cause her eyes to fall asleep;
- It is forbidden to do laundry, wash your hair or clean the house on Paraskeva, especially for pregnant women - you can anger the great martyr and no longer count on her help in childbirth.

Ritual with rose hips
There is a very simple ritual that can help restore peace in the family. You don't even have to say any words for it. All you need is a sheet of paper, salt, a pen and some dried hawthorn flowers.
The flowers should first be crushed as finely as possible. Write the name of your opponent on paper, and then tear the piece of paper into small pieces. At the same time, you should devote yourself completely to the ritual, expressing as many negative emotions as possible that this woman evokes in you.
Then throw the paper directly on the floor, and sprinkle salt and hawthorn flowers on top. At the same time, throw out all the negativity that has recently accumulated inside you. Afterwards, carefully sweep everything away and wash the floor thoroughly. With the help of this ritual, you will cleanse the energy in the house and return peace to the family.
Veneration of the image of Paraskeva Friday in Rus'
The Saint's patience and humility were highly valued in Rus'. On the icon, Paraskeva is depicted with a scroll of the Creed in one hand and a cross, symbolizing her suffering and martyrdom for the faith, in the other. The prayer to Paraskeva Pyatnitsa was offered before the start of spring sowing in the fields; religious processions were performed with her image during the death of livestock, during drought or prolonged rains. It is believed that the Saint is the patron of all Orthodox Christians engaged in difficult peasant labor.
After the harvest, on the day of remembrance of the Holy Martyr on November 10, the peasants gathered in the church, offered thanksgiving prayers and blessed the fruits of their labors, which they kept in the red corner all winter.
To this day, the prayer to Paraskeva Friday for marriage, said by innocent girls, is the most effective assistant in creating a happy family.

The life story of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa
This amazing girl died very young after great suffering: she was tortured by executioners on the orders of the emperor's viceroy. In those days (3rd century AD), Christians were subjected to severe persecution, and faith in Christ was considered dangerous. Paraskeva's parents died very early, leaving the young girl alone. But she was so imbued with faith in Christ, opened her heart and soul to the Savior that nothing made the young creature turn away from the path of truth and righteousness.
The girl distributed all her inheritance to those in need, leaving for herself only the essentials. Many suitors wooed Paraskeva, but she remained adamant. Once and for all, the girl gave her heart to the heavenly bridegroom - Jesus Christ. And then terrible trials befell her: the young Christian woman was captured and brought to the ruler. The viceroy of Emperor Diocletian was struck by the girl’s youth and beauty, so he immediately offered her his hand and heart.

After Paraskeva’s categorical refusal, the governor handed her over to be torn to pieces by the executioner. The girl suffered a lot of torment, but all her wounds were healed by an angel sent by Christ. Remaining adamant in her fidelity to the heavenly groom, Paraskeva was beheaded. The relics of the young Christian woman continue to heal the sick and suffering to this day, and the girls’ prayers for marriage are always heard and not left unanswered.

Moreover, remembering your honest suffering, we call you with tenderness:
Rejoice, O all-pervading lamb, offered to the chief shepherd Christ like a fragrant sacrifice; Rejoice, you have presented your immaculate torment to the immortal Bridegroom Christ, like a most honorable vein.
Rejoice, pure young woman, who revealed the true confession of the Orthodox faith before the infidels; Rejoice, righteous accuser, who revealed the unrighteousness of the wicked judge.
Rejoice, for by you the wicked enemy has been put to shame, seeing himself defeated by a young maiden; Rejoice, for the powers of heaven rejoice over you, seeing you weak and young, defeating fierce tormentors.
Rejoice, pure dove and immaculate in heart; Rejoice, humble lamb, successfully becoming more honest and blessed than the passion of the Lord.
Rejoice, for you were offered to your Creator like fragrant incense; Rejoice, as the bright Sun of Truth looks upon you, shining from the grave for three days and strengthening you for the suffering feat.
Rejoice, for for your glorious suffering you have been vouchsafed to enter the palace of Christ, the King of Heaven; Rejoice, for there, together with the saints, you enjoy indescribable joy.
