Teaching: “Worship and Praise to God”

What is praise?

Each person expresses differently - it's between you and the Lord.

What kind of praise are we talking about?

To have the ability to be grateful, that is, to give thanks in advance not only for what God has already done, but to give thanks for the fulfillment of His word, although you do not yet see evidence of it.

When you understand how important praise is in your life, you will see how important it is to do it every day.

You may not know how important it is to praise the Lord because you do not understand what the Lord has done. Perhaps you just lack faith in your life. Perhaps it's a missing element that's why you're not seeing what you need to see.

You're doing the basics, but you're missing the point—you're constantly missing out on glorification. You constantly allow tears to take the place of praise. Instead of raising your hands to the sky, you allow yourself to become depressed.

What you don't understand is that Satan wants praise for himself. Every time he sees God receiving praise, he loses his temper.

There will be no great benefit if you praise God only in the Church. You need to learn to praise God when you are alone, when no one can see you.

Why should we praise God?

1. Because the Lord God lives in the midst of our praise. When a song of praise sounds, the whole sky stops and listens. By praise a throne is built for the Lord, and He comes and sits on it.

4. But You, O Holy One, live among the praises of Israel.

(Psalm 22:4)

2. It is written in the Holy Scriptures that all living things should glorify the Lord.

6. Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Hallelujah.

(Psalm 150:6)

3. Jesus Christ affirmed that only the Lord God can be worshiped, praised and served.

10. Then Jesus saith unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him alone shalt thou serve.

(Holy Gospel of Matthew 4:10)

4. The Almighty Himself gave us a commandment to honor Him alone.

2. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;

3. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

4. Do not make for yourself an idol or any image of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth below, or that is in the water below the earth;

5. Do not worship them or serve them, for I am the Lord your God, a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me,

6. And showing mercy to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

(Book of Exodus 20:2-6)

5. We were created to worship Him, only the dead cannot worship the Lord.

25. Neither the dead will praise the Lord, nor all those who go down to the grave...

(Psalm 113:25)

He is worthy of eternal praise!

What is praise to God?

Praise is the act of glorifying and exalting God. Likewise, praise means to speak well of someone, by extolling or extolling the greatness of someone’s abilities.

If a person believes in God, then praise flows from the lips, it is born from a close relationship with the Almighty, it is pronounced out loud, from the bottom of the heart. If you just say the words but don't put your heart into it, then it's just regular singing.

The Hebrew meaning of praise is halal, which means to be excited and joyful.

What does praise do in our lives?

  • Praise lifts you out of depression and defeats demonic oppression.

23. And when the spirit from God came upon Saul, David took the harp and played, and Saul felt more joyful and better, and the evil spirit departed from him.

(1 Samuel 16:23)

  • Praise opens any door, frees you from prison, both physical and spiritual.

22. The people also rebelled against them, and the commanders, tearing off their clothes, ordered them to be beaten with sticks

23. And having given them many blows, they threw them into prison, ordering the prison guard to guard them tightly.

24. Having received such an order, he threw them into the inner prison and hammered their feet into a block.

25. About midnight Paul and Silas, praying, sang praises to God; the prisoners listened to them.

26. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were loosened.

(Acts of the Holy Apostles 16:22-26)

  • Brings victory and defeat to enemies.

22. And while they began to shout and praise, the Lord aroused discord between the Ammonites, the Moabites and the inhabitants of Mount Seir, who came to Judah, and they were struck...

(2 Chronicles 20:22)

  • Praise brings breakthrough. Abraham praised God and thanked Him for everything, and was rewarded with an uncountable generation.

3. Judah begat Perez and Zerah by Tamar; Perez begat Hezrom; Hezrom gave birth to Aram...

(Holy Gospel of Matthew 1:3)

  • Praise brings goodness and sweetness to a person's life.

1. Praise the Lord, for it is good to sing to our God, for it is sweet—appropriate praise.

(Psalm 146:1)

  • Praise expresses our gratitude to the Almighty.
  • Praise is a power that is a spiritual weapon.

3. From the mouths of babes and sucklings You have made praise for the sake of Your enemies, in order to silence the enemy and the avenger.

(Psalm 8:3)

Never let problems get you down

When problems come, you need to hold your head high and say, “Hallelujah!” In any case, there is no point in being sad.

If you give praise to the God you serve, it will strengthen your faith and everything will happen as it should.

Be careful never to take praise for granted. It is praise that can open closed doors in your life.

Praise is not a church phenomenon, but a biblical one.

Never let problems get you down. Even if the doctor gives a bad diagnosis, say: “Hallelujah!”

You were fired from your job, say “Hallelujah!”

You are experiencing some difficulties, say: “Hallelujah!”

Thank God for the glorifying Church, which knows how to go through the “fiery furnace” with the help of praise, how to get out of trouble.

When you don't know what to do, simply say, "Praise the Lord, Hallelujah!" This will be the key that will cause great waves of blessings to come into your life.

What happens during praise?

The amount of time you spend praising God is an important indicator of where you are in your relationship with the Lord.

You can tell a lot about a person by the place of praise in his life. You don't have to be a secret Christian. But because of all that God has done for you, He deserves your praise, not privately, but publicly.

People will know that you are saved because praise to the Lord will come from your mouth from time to time.

Times of conflict are the times when we should praise God the most.

In most cases, no praise is heard from Christians going through trials. Lots of complaints, lots of other things. However, we need to learn to praise God when it is inconvenient for us and when we have a bad inner state.

Teaching: “Worship and Praise to God”

Yesterday, at a meeting of the Northern region, Nikolai Morozov, a minister of the Southeast region and the “doctor” of the church’s music ministry, preached.

It's not often you hear teaching like this. I am publishing a summary of his sermon.

Nikolay Morozov

Why are we disciples (what is the purpose of our discipleship)? Not to be disciples, not to follow the commandments. We are disciples to be with the heavenly Father. Discipleship is not an end, but a means. Our goal is to be in His presence. (We take the subway not to travel, but to get to our goal. The subway is a means to an end, but not the goal.) Let's take a look at how it all began: when God created man, He did not create him in order to so that a person would be a disciple, so that he would preach or not sin. He created man to walk with Him. Our purpose from creation itself is to be in His presence. And we have such an opportunity here, already now.

Revelation 4:10-11

then the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and lay down their crowns before the throne, saying: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hast created all things, and
all things
exist, and created.

Revelation 19:1-7

After this I heard in heaven a loud voice as if of a large people, saying: Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and honor and strength be to our Lord! For His judgments are true and righteous: because He condemned that great fornicator, who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and exacted the blood of His servants from her hand. And they said a second time: Hallelujah! And its smoke rose forever and ever. Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying: Amen! Hallelujah! And a voice came out from the throne, saying: Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great people, as the sound of many waters, as the voice of mighty thunder, saying: Hallelujah! for the Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory; For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.

What's going on there? Praise and glorification!

Praise and glorification have amazing power and can make an incredible difference in our lives.

Unfortunately, people did not always attach due importance to praise (which sometimes happens now). This is not just a little glorification, a little praise, it is a disaster for people:

Romans 1:21-24

But how, having come to know God, they did not glorify Him as God and did not give thanks, but became futile in their speculations, and their foolish hearts were darkened; calling themselves wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed creatures, and creeping things - then God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, so that they defiled their very bodies.

What is number one on the list of reasons why God left man in his lusts? They didn't glorify Him as God

. It is not that they began to commit adultery, steal or kill, but they did not glorify Him as they should. Unworthy glorification cost man His presence.

Luke 17:12-19

And when He entered a certain village, ten lepers met Him, who stopped at a distance and said in a loud voice: Jesus the Mentor!
have mercy on us. Seeing them
, He said to them: Go, show yourself to the priests. And as they walked, they purified themselves. One of them, seeing that he was healed, returned, glorifying God with a loud voice, and fell prostrate at His feet, thanking Him; and it was a Samaritan. Then Jesus said, “Were not ten cleansed?” where is nine? how did they not return to give glory to God, except this foreigner? And he said to him: get up, go; your faith has saved you.

This Samaritan was the only one who did not reach the priest, while all the others, having obeyed Christ, went and showed themselves to the priest. It seems that it even turns out that this man disobeyed Jesus, but we do not see even a hint of reproach in his direction, moreover, Jesus sets him as an example. What is the reason? He came and gave glory to God!

It's interesting that Jesus noted his faith. And what did He see her in? What did this man do that made Jesus discern faith? Praise!

Luke 7:36-47

One of the Pharisees asked Him to eat food with him; and He entered the house of the Pharisee and lay down. And so, a woman of that city, who was a sinner, having learned that He was reclining in the house of a Pharisee, brought an alabaster flask of ointment and, standing behind His feet and weeping, began to wet His feet with tears and wipe them with the hair of her head, and kissed His feet. , and smeared it with myrrh. Seeing this, the Pharisee who invited Him said to himself: if He were a prophet, He would know who and what kind of woman was touching Him, for she was a sinner. Turning to him, Jesus said: Simon! I have something to tell you. He says: tell me, Teacher. Jesus said: A certain creditor had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty, but since they had nothing to pay, he forgave them both. Tell me, which of them will love him more? Simon answered: I think the one to whom he forgave more. He said to him: you judged correctly. And turning to the woman, he said to Simon: Do you see this woman? I came to your house, and you did not give me water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head; You did not give Me a kiss, but she, since I came, has not stopped kissing My feet; You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you: her many sins are forgiven because she loved much, but he who is forgiven little loves little.

If you wanted to dishonor or humiliate a person who entered your house, then you should not have ordered your servants to wash his feet. This rule of foot washing was especially carefully observed in the house of the Pharisee, to whom outward cleanliness meant everything. Jesus made it clear that when He entered Simon's house, no one washed His feet (see Luke 7:44). It seemed that Simon wanted Jesus to come, but he did not want to honor Him. How often do we want God to be present in our meetings, but we refuse to honor Him as we should and neglect to worship? (Tommy Tinney, God's Seekers, p. 171);

John 4:21-24

Jesus says to her: Believe Me, that the time is coming when you will worship the Father, neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You do not know what you bow down to, but we know what we bow down to, for salvation comes from the Jews. But the time will come and has already come when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is looking for such worshipers for Himself. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.

God does not need us as workers! He doesn't need anything we can do. God is looking

people who would
worship
Him! Worship is not works, it is the state of our hearts before Him! It is awe in His presence, it is kneeling before His throne, it is hands reaching out to Him, it is words of praise and glorification. Worship of God does not only happen in our meetings. Worship does not end with the sound of the last song. Worship is a state of the heart. Do you praise God? Are you paying attention to this? I was irritated by the “thank God” religiosity. I try not to be religious when interacting with non-believers. But this does not mean that we should be embarrassed to praise God in front of people. And not even in front of people - just praise God.

Psalm 21:4

But You, O Holy One, live among
the praises
of Israel.

Demand determines supply. Our spiritual thirst determines the measure of God's presence.

There are two interpretations of this passage: 1. God comes first, and because of this, everyone begins to praise Him; 2. First glorification, then He comes. Personally, I lean towards the second point of view and here's why: God was originally among His people, but when they stopped worshiping Him, He left them. They were oppressed, taken into slavery, etc. But when they began to cry out to Him, He came again and had mercy.

1 Samuel 16:14-23

But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.
And Saul's servants said to him, Behold, an evil spirit from God troubles you; let our master command his servants who are
before you to look for a person skilled in playing the harp, and when an evil spirit from God comes upon you, he will calm you, playing with his hand. And Saul answered his servants, Find me a man who plays well, and present him to me. Then one of his servants said: Behold, I saw Jesse the Bethlehemite’s son, who knew how to play, a brave and warlike man, and intelligent in speech and distinguished in appearance, and the Lord was with him. And Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, Send to me David your son, who is with the flock. And Jesse took a donkey with bread and a bottle of wine and one kid, and sent it with David his son to Saul. And David came to Saul and served before him, and he liked him very much and became his armor bearer. And Saul sent to Jesse, Let David serve with me, for he has found favor in my eyes. And when the spirit from God came upon Saul, David took the harp and played, and Saul felt more joyful and better, and the evil spirit departed from him.

Surprisingly, somehow the sounds of music could influence spiritual realities!

Our worship in meetings, I believe, can influence our spiritual (mental) state. Spiritual chants accompanied by music are great power in the hands of God!

2 Chronicles 20:20-24

And they rose early in the morning and set out towards the wilderness of Tekoa;
and when they had set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said: Hear me, O Jews and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and be strong; believe His prophets, and you will prosper. And he consulted with the people, and appointed singers to the Lord, so that in the splendor of the sanctuary, speaking in front of the armed men, they would praise and say: glorify the Lord, for His mercy endures forever! And while
they began to shout and praise, the Lord aroused disagreement between the Ammonites, Moabites and
the inhabitants
for the Ammonites and Moabites rebelled against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, beating and destroying
them
, and when finished off the inhabitants of Seir, then they began to destroy each other. And when the Jews came to the high ground in the desert and looked at the multitude, and behold, there were corpses lying on the ground, and there was no survivor.

Acts 16:22-26 The people also rose up against them, and the commanders, tearing off their clothes, ordered them to be beaten with rods and, after giving them many blows, they were thrown into prison, ordering the jailer to keep a tight guard over them. Having received such an order, he threw them into the inner prison and hammered their legs into a block. Around midnight, Paul and Silas, praying, sang praises to God; the prisoners listened to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundation of the prison shook; immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were loosened.

These are examples of how praising God has changed life situations on a practical level. Not just intellectually - like, I'll praise God and I'll feel better. But in practice, the situation really changed.

Life in Christ is a spiritual life, a life in the Spirit, and in order for us to be in the Spirit, it is necessary for the Spirit to be in us, and there is a sure way for us to be filled with God's Spirit:

Ephesians 5:18-21 And do not get drunk with wine, which causes debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord, always giving thanks for everything to God the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.

“The more you talk about how bad you feel and how depressed you are, the worse you feel. And on the other hand, the more you begin to praise God for all that He has done for you, the better you will feel, and the brighter your life will begin to shine.”

“One of the blessings of praise is that praise turns your gaze from yourself to God.

“Defeat comes when we focus our gaze and our attention on circumstances

. For example, when Peter walked on the water to meet Jesus and turned his gaze from the Lord to the circumstances - to the wind and the loud roaring waves - he immediately began to drown (Matthew 14:30). But as long as Peter looked to Jesus, he could not fail no matter what was happening around him!

Let me give you another comparison. Imagine: there are dark, dark clouds overhead, rain, thunder, lightning. The sun is not visible, damp, cold. You board the plane, it begins to slowly rise higher and higher. Those same thunderclouds are already overhead! But a few more moments and... the clouds remained below, and you were blinded by the radiance of the sun. And the clouds did not disappear anywhere, and the sun remained where it was, but... You rose above the clouds! Often such “clouds” arise in our lives (problems at work, in the family...). But we have these “wings” on which we can rise above all clouds and find ourselves in the radiance of the “Sun”. These wings are praise and glorification!

Psalm 149:1

Sing a new song to the Lord; Praise be to Him in the assembly of the saints.

Singing and praising God during our meetings is very natural if we realize Who we are serving. And here, as in many other passages, it is specifically about singing and praise. Very often we glorify God through Bible study, communication, service and many, many others, almost forgetting about pure praise, about singing.

The writer of Hebrews says, “Through Him therefore let us continually offer up to God the sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that glorify His name (Hebrews 13:15).”

“The fruit of the mouth”, not the works of hands, not ministry, not fellowship or Bible study, but the glorification of God! Moreover, he encourages us to do this continually, not just for 15 minutes during our Sunday meetings! So why are we unable to put aside everything we do for 15 minutes a week in order to give God the praise He deserves?

“I love and respect God, and just because I talk while I sing doesn’t mean I don’t respect Him.” And looking at the lives of these disciples, their devotion, faith, service, etc. and you really can’t say that they are lawless and heretics: they are very serving and faithful people to God. But I am still sure that they are “lacking in one thing”: “Whoever sacrifices praise honors Me, and whoever watches his way, to him I will show the salvation of God” ( Psalm 49:23

). This is how God wants us to show our honor and respect to Him!

Matthew 4:8-10

Again the devil takes Him to a very high mountain and shows Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and says to Him: I will give all this to You if you fall down and worship me.
Then Jesus says to him: get thee behind Me, Satan, for it is written: Thou shalt adore the Lord thy God (worship, bow down, give homage, falling on his knees to worship to the ground)
and Him alone shalt thou serve
(serve, adore, render service, render service)
.

In this little dialogue, Jesus managed to say some incredibly important things that we need to learn.

As we know, this was Satan's third attempt to tempt Jesus. Notice that the first two attacks from Satan, Jesus gave him a specific answer to a specific proposal, but as soon as Satan started talking about worship, Jesus told him to “get behind Me!” as if showing the importance of worship, as if saying “But don’t even think about attempting this!” Satan takes aim at something very important, and then Jesus responds in a very radical way.

And then He talks about two things in our relationship with God - worship and service. Jesus seems to separate these two things, and we should not “confuse” them and replace one with the other.

We are very well taught and accustomed to serving one another, and often pass this off as our service and worship of God. But this is not true! This is also an extremely important thing in our spiritual life, but it is not worship!

Our service to each other and communication with each other is an extremely important component of our spiritual life, the Bible clearly speaks about this, but besides this, in our life there must be service DIRECTLY to God Himself and WORSHIP to Him!

There are often families in the world where the father spends a lot of time at work, earning a comfortable life for his family, and he has absolutely no time to communicate with his wife and children. But he believes that he is doing all this for the sake of his family. Although the children and wife would much rather have their father around.

During our service, we must never forget about worship, glorification and service to God Himself.

Mal.1:6-2:2 The son honors his father, and the servant his master; if I am a father, then where is the respect for Me? and if I am the Lord, then where is the reverence for Me? says the Lord of hosts to you, you priests, who profane my name. You say: “How do we dishonor Your name?” You offer My unclean bread on the altar, and say: “How do we dishonor You?” - By saying: “The Lord’s table is not worthy of respect.” And when you sacrifice a blind thing, is it not bad? or when you bring the lame and the sick, is this not bad? Offer this to your prince; Will he be pleased with you and will he accept you favorably? says the Lord of hosts. So pray to God to have mercy on us; and when such things come from your hands, can He graciously receive you? says the Lord of hosts. It would be better for one of you to lock the doors, so that they do not hold fire on My altar in vain. I have no favor with you, says the Lord of hosts, and the offering from your hands is not pleasing to Me. For from the east of the sun to the west my name will be great among the nations, and in every place they will offer incense to my name, a pure sacrifice; My name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts. And you blaspheme him by saying: “The Lord’s table is not worthy of respect, and the income from it is insignificant food.” Moreover, you say: “That’s how much work!” and you despise it, says the Lord of hosts, and offer stolen, lame and sick things, and bring gifts of grain of the same nature: can I accept this from your hands with grace? says the Lord. Cursed is the deceitful one who has an uncorrupted male in his flock, and he has made a vow, and sacrifices to the Lord what is corrupted: for I am a great King, and My name is terrible among the nations. So for you, priests, this commandment: if you do not obey and if you do not take it to heart to give glory to My name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send a curse on you and I will curse your blessings, and I am already cursing because you do not want put your hearts to it.

Imagine that your boss calls you in and asks you to give a report on something. You start telling and explaining, but suddenly you notice a colleague passing by. You get distracted, run to greet him, ask how he is doing, and then, as if nothing had happened, return to your boss and continue your report. The boss wouldn't like that. And for us this is understandable; we are more or less accustomed to maintain subordination. Not many of us like being interrupted; we want to be respected. But why, with all this, do we allow ourselves to behave this way with God? We sing, immediately we switch to the person next to us, and then we “join” the singing again. Doesn't God deserve that we should not be distracted from Him? Or is he not as important and respected in our eyes as our earthly bosses?

1 Samuel 2:12-17 But the sons of Eli were worthless people; they did not know the Lord and the duty of the priests towards the people. When someone made a sacrifice, the priestly youth, during the cooking of meat, came with a fork in his hand and lowered it into a cauldron, or into a saucepan, or into a frying pan, or into a pot, and whatever the fork took out, the priest took for himself. This is what they did to all the Israelites who came there to Shiloh. Even before they burned the fat, the priestly youth came and said to the one making the sacrifice: give the meat to the priest for roast; he will not take boiled meat from you, but give him raw meat. And [if] someone said to him: let them first burn the fat as they should, and [then] take for yourself as much as your soul desires, then he said: no, give it now, and if not, then I will take it by force. And the sin of these young people was very great before the Lord, for they turned away from offering sacrifices to the Lord.

Job 15:4 Yes, you have put aside fear and consider speaking to God as a small thing.

The sons of Elijah were extremely disdainful of sacrifices to the Lord, which was displeasing to God. They did not respect or observe the order of sacrifices that had been established.

There is also some order in our meetings: singing, prayer, study of scripture, communication (or some other). Do we respect him? Do we sing while singing? Do we pray during prayer? Or do we “consider speaking to God as a small thing”?

The guilt of the sons of Elijah was aggravated by the fact that they were involved in the priesthood. From people who are given more, more is expected. People who lead us in worship (choir, singing group, etc.) have more expectations than those who do not have this public ministry. These people should be an example for the Church in glorifying God.

The sacrifice of Praise is the fruit of the mouth. Do not forget that not every sacrifice is pleasing to God. Cain and Abel. Do you want to make a sacrifice to God that is pleasing to Him?

We need to repent and reconsider our attitude towards what kind of sacrifice we bring to the altar - the best of what we have, or the “lame and crippled” one.

And also, we want to advise you to read a book that will help you look deeper into the essence of God and praise to Him! The main message of this book is that when you master Romans, God will master you. The book is called: “The Epistle to the Romans. A Liberated Heart”, you can purchase it here.

What does praise do?

1. Praise builds your faith.

2. Praise drives away the devil.

3. Praise serves God.

Praise should always accompany the circumstances of your life. Also, praise should be the engine of your life that changes the circumstances of your life. If praise is the engine of your life, then it will change your circumstances.

(Col 2:6) Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so

and walk in Him.

Some of us need to be in a situation where nothing else works. First we realize that there is grace available to enable us to live a life pleasing to God.

Access to grace is through faith, but our faith is never complete without praise.

(Col 2:7) Being rooted and established in Him and strengthened in the faith, as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Notice that through thanksgiving we make progress in faith.

To prosper is to grow in your faith through thanksgiving.

You can increase your faith through thanksgiving.

Praise is the highest form of faith. Believe in what has not yet been done.

You read the word of God, you believe that God has already done everything. The only thing left to do is to thank God for what is not done, as if it had already been done.

It's one thing to accept what has already been done. But there is a part of faith when you say: “I thank God for what I don’t see, what I don’t feel, but I believe will be done.”

Therefore, praise is the highest form of faith.

During a difficult trial, you wait for the manifestation of the power of God to carry you through the trial. In this case:

- praise to God is necessary while you wait for healing;

- praise God while you are waiting for work;

- Praise God while you await transformation in your family.

You can’t be like, “I believe God did this,” and still look miserable all the time.
