There are different cases in life when sometimes an unintentional negative look or an evil word can cause harm to others. But it also happens that some people deliberately do nasty things to others. This influence is called damage. You can cope with this phenomenon in various ways. It all depends on the complexity of the case. But many recommend a lecture in church against damage.

How to get rid of demons

Prayer can protect against any evil and evil spirits. Some general rules for preventing the effects of evil spirits on people should be observed:

  • It is advisable to burn incense in the house at least once a week;
  • every day sprinkle the room with holy water, which can always be collected in the temple;
  • always have icons in the house;
  • light candles in front of images and pray more often.

According to Jesus Christ, only prayer and fasting cast out demons, and this is quite within the power of an ordinary person. And there are several common prayers for exorcism.

  1. "Our Father".
  2. "May God rise again."
  3. Psalm 90.
  4. Prayer to the Guardian Angel.
  5. Prayer to St. Cyprian of Carthage.
  6. Prayer to cast out demons from a person to God:

Important! One must lead a righteous lifestyle for the demons to truly retreat. And you need to pray constantly, periodically repeating the Jesus Prayer or simply sometimes saying to yourself “Lord have mercy!” We must understand that no demon will approach a person if he constantly prays and tries to live righteously, keeping the commandments of God

Other prayers against evil spirits:

If evil spirits have nevertheless “captivated” a person’s soul, then everything possible must be done as quickly as possible to get rid of it, since such a state can develop into obsession, and this, as we know, is an extremely difficult case. There are several ways out of this situation:

  • casting out demons from oneself;
  • performing a ceremony for another person;
  • getting help from the church.

In order to get rid of demons, you need to read certain prayers at home or when meeting them by chance

It is also important to remember that those most susceptible to the influence of such force are alcoholics, drug addicts, as well as people whose apartments give rise to other sins. And if suddenly an ordinary person gets housing from such tenants, he should expel them as soon as possible, because they will begin to encourage drunkenness, suicide, scandals

BLONDE (be sure to read to the end!) Father Vitaly had been honking desperately for about 10 minutes. He urgently needed to leave for a deanery meeting, and some huge black jeep had securely “locked” his car in the parking lot near the house. “What kind of people are they?!” - mentally possible...

In Orthodoxy there are several prayers that help overcome this problem, namely:

  • "Our Father";
  • “May God rise again”;
  • Jesus Prayer;
  • Guardian Angel;
  • to Saint Cyprian;
  • prayer of John of Kronstadt from demons.

A separate and very important place in Christianity is occupied by the prayer of John of Kronstadt from demons, who during his lifetime, as the rector of St. Andrew’s Church, received a huge number of people who wanted to receive the long-awaited healing of body and soul, to get rid of the evil eye and demonic influence. He not only cast out demons from a person, but also instructed spiritually, directed him to the true path

And to this day, prayer to this saint is one of the most powerful, helping people find themselves and find their place in life. This saint also instructs on the path of truth, helps to get rid of drunkenness and other bad addictions.

Prayers that cast out demons can be read in all cases where protection is needed. Their main purpose is to drive away evil spirits, to prevent them from frightening a true believer and causing him irreparable harm. Good always triumphs over evil. And goodness is God.

Why do Sverdlovsk VIPs go to Father Sergius to cast out demons?

article from the story

The case of Father Sergius

In Yekaterinburg, in the scandalous bar “Demons”, a historian, researcher of the phenomenon of “readings” - this is the name for the exotic process of exorcism for the Russian Orthodox Church - Anton Kochnev spoke. The scientist spoke about these rituals, which are practiced in the Sredneuralsky convent, which is still under the authority of the excommunicated schemamonk Sergius (Romanov). Why his “reprimands” are so popular among his VIP parishioners, why they are dangerous and who gave him a free hand - in an interview with a scientist for URA.RU.

— Anton, why did you suddenly decide to tell the people of Yekaterinburg about the rites of exorcism performed by Father Sergius?

Kochnev’s lecture on obsession was held at the “Demons” bar

— I study social anthropology, a science that studies such phenomena. For our time, they are anachronisms (relics of antiquity), but have taken root in modern society. Now I am preparing an article about lectures for publication: I presented it in Moscow in the spring, and in December it should be published in the magazine. These rituals are interesting to me from a scientific point of view: what kind of phenomenon this is, what place it occupies in the world and what its danger is for people. I myself went to Father Sergius for lectures, as well as to other monasteries (as a scientist, incognito). And now I’m ready to tell you what’s happening there and what analogues of this phenomenon exist in other cultures.

— Do the scoldings perform some important social function or is it a rudiment (residual organ) that can be safely cut off?

— It’s hard to call it a rudiment, since it is present in our lives. For certain social groups, this is an important mechanism for interaction with the world and the world with them. I'm talking about a social group that gathers in a monastery: for them this is not an anachronism, but everyday life.

— Father Sergius has many VIP parishioners. The most famous of them are Dmitry Sokolov, a participant in the Ural Dumplings show, hockey player Pavel Datsyuk, and formerly the ex-prosecutor of Crimea, State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya. Also among his followers are officials, doctors, and lawyers. All of them attend the services of Father Sergius, when he casts out demons, and, according to stories, some VIPs themselves went through these rituals. Why do they need this?

“I think the reason is the same as for ordinary people: they have achieved some goals in life, and the time has come to search for something spiritual. And Sergius Romanov answers this search, but not in the same way as the official church - through some deeper understanding of faith, through the archaic. But when VIPs show by their example that you can go there, to the monastery, and also defend Father Sergius, this is even worse. For me this is nonsense. And for them to show that they sympathize with the disgraced priest is an opportunity to stand out even more, to emphasize their spirituality.

—Where did Father Sergius borrow the rituals of exorcism he performed? Maybe he's doing something wrong?

— There are certain sources that are established in the reports - for example, the breviary of Peter Mogila. But in general, in Russian Orthodoxy there is no clear order regulating the ritual of reprimands, such as, for example, the order of exorcism in the Catholic Church.

There has always been self-will: priests often begin to flog, act on a whim. So Sergius’s hands are free, he can do whatever he wants.

And he allowed himself a lot of unnecessary things, began to promote his personal conspiracy theory, hiding behind lectures. Not only atheists, but also the Orthodox Church were outraged, because some of the things he says are not entirely sane. There are special risks in this.

- What is the danger?

“Many children are brought to him for reprimands, and this is a very serious threat to their psyche. Of course, diagnoses are not made remotely, but it is clear that many of them have obvious health problems. Many of these children have disabilities. Of course, it would be worth diagnosing these people from a psychiatric point of view, but they do not make contact: the flock is very closed, subject to the influence of the leader and trusts him unquestioningly.

Are people traveling or taking their loved ones to reprimands themselves convinced that they have demons, or is it he (Father Sergius) who convinces them of this?

People who question religious obsession need confirmation of this. And Father Sergius gives such confirmation - this is what they are going for. He “diagnoses” their demons, and through this they receive that same approval. Because most often these are people with some serious problems.

Are methods of exorcism universal? Or does each demon have its own “tool”?

— The method does not depend on the demon, but on the specific parish and the person performing the ritual. Within the framework of “private” exorcisms, when people, having read or listened to such figures, decide for themselves, outside the church, to carry out such a “rite,” both knives and sticks and stones.

Some ride on their parishioners, some trample on them, some hit them. Someone might stick a knife in, believing that by doing so they are casting out a demon.

There is no such thing in Sergius Romanov’s reports, but there are guards who forcefully break the possessed and put them on the floor.

The situation is especially dangerous when children with mental or physical illnesses are brought to Sergius for reprimand, and forceful methods are used against them. I saw harsh treatment of children who came to the monastery with their parents - I think the attitude towards children living in the monastery without parents is much harsher.

- Can you give the most egregious example?

— There was a case with a small child. I'm not a doctor, but he clearly had some kind of movement disorder, cerebral palsy. He did not behave aggressively, but when he was grabbed, he naturally began to break free. This convinced those around him that he was possessed by demons. And the child feels that his parents want something from him, and begins to act out this role of the possessed in order to earn their encouragement.

The parents also get it: during the scolding, Romanov accuses them of being the ones who brought their child to such a state. He says that they abandoned him - they gave him to the Internet, thereby justifying the harsh treatment of children: twisting them, putting them face down on the floor, hitting them with a book. And supposedly only Sergius is able to save their child.

— How much does a lecture usually cost, and how much does it cost Father Sergius?

— Sergius Romanov, I think, has enough money, so this ritual is free for him. But I attended lectures in other monasteries. For example, in Sterlitamak they offered me to buy a belt made of calico ribbon so that evil spirits would not enter you when they were expelling it. It cost 300 rubles - a kind of “entrance fee”.

How do they cast out a demon in church?

More and more churches are agreeing to perform exorcisms. Usually it is performed on one possessed person, but there are cases of mass “cleansing”. During the reprimand, the possessed may begin to howl, bark, and whine. Some swear at God or shout. The most suggestible people kneel, scratch the floor, shake, and faint.

He was sleeping and felt his chest shaking, which made him pray for God's help. The next day they asked if he had felt the earthquake that had caused the city to tremble during the night. You can prepare intensely for something, but there is no course that anticipates the surprises of everyday life.

It was just another day for some police officers. When they left the house, they might have thought that they could arrest someone, help, or even shoot the bad guys, except what happened. Watch what they see in the video below after a young man accused of drug trafficking is arrested and placed in a vehicle.

With the help of prayer, the priest orders the demons to leave the body and leave the soul of the “sick” alone. Not every person needs to be told off. It is believed that as long as the believer controls his mind, he must confront the darkness on his own. The rite of exorcism is performed only when the possessed person is unable to control his words and actions.

The accused was possessed by evil spirits. But why couldn't the police take them out of the boy's life? Did this require an exorcist? Bishop Edir Macedo explains that man was created by God with power and authority over all things. But this power was transferred to the devil when a person fell into temptation. Then the devil began to dominate the world. However, everything changed when the Lord Jesus came into this world.

Jesus came and told them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 18). He has redeemed this power for those who believe in Him and who are truly children of God, are washed in His blood and remain faithful to the Lord. And this authority gains strength not only with the belief that Jesus exists, but also in the life of his son.

A person in need of reprimand must fast and lead a modest lifestyle. He should be helped with this. Before the ceremony, you need to visit the church and talk with the priest. After the demon is cast out, the “sick” continues the “treatment.” He observes strict fasting, begins the day with prayer, drinks holy water on an empty stomach, and does not miss a service.

If you believe in Jesus, you read the Bible, you know the Word of God well. However, if you live in sin, a lie, then it has nothing to do with the Kingdom of God, has nothing to do with the Father, because whoever is a son or daughter of God lives in fellowship, obedience, respect and constant adoration of the Father. This is fundamental for us, children of God, to accept our power in this world,” says the bishop.

It's easier to understand when we remember the passage in Acts that tells us what happened while the Apostle Paul was in Ephesus. In the name of Jesus, Paul performs great miracles, both to the number of sick people who came to be so great that he stingily pieces of his clothing, and not only the disease disappeared, but also the evil spirits came out of their victims.

The exorcism industry: how do they cast out demons in Russia and what do Lenin and Navalny have to do with it?

The ritual of exorcism is becoming an entire industry in Russia. Our correspondent saw for himself how popular this service of the Russian Orthodox Church is.

Many were shocked by a video filmed in the Volgograd region, where young parents exorcised evil spirits from their 10-year-old son. The leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church then condemned the “unauthorized exorcism of demons.” To see how today they fight evil spirits according to all the rules, we went to the “capital of exorcism” - to the territory of the Oryol Metropolis. Here, the exorcism of demons from citizens is put on stream.

Chronicle

Exorcism cases that ended badly

  • In 2022, a video appeared in which three residents of the Moscow region hold a girl by the arms and legs on the floor and, ignoring her screams, fumigate her with smoke from an unknown substance. The Investigative Committee began an investigation.
  • In 2022, the confessor of the Sredneuralsky Monastery, schema-hegumen Sergius Romanov, grabbed a parishioner by the hair and insulted her during a reprimand. Now the priest is anathematized.
  • In 2022, the body of a 9-year-old child was found in Yekaterinburg. The media, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, reported that the gagged boy was beaten with whips by his own father in order to “drive the demons out of him.”
  • In 2015, in Transnistria, the rector of a church in the village of Khrustovaya rode on horseback on a “demon-possessed” parishioner.
  • In 2010, in Primorye, a four-year-old boy did not survive a ritual performed by “traditional healers.” The healers assured the parents that their son was damaged.

"Official Exorcist"

Getting to the small church in the village of Shakhovo is not easy. 40 minutes by bus from the regional center, and then another 2 kilometers on foot along the field. Along the way, despite the early morning, cars are overtaken - the local Trinity Church is known far beyond the region. In online reviews, people call local priest Igor Sukhanov the savior of their lives. And he calls himself “the official exorcist of the Oryol diocese” (that is, a special paper from the Metropolitan).

New buildings are being built on the territory of Trinity Church

Judging by the rapid construction on the territory of the church, it is noticeable that the parish is not in poverty - pilgrims are brought by buses from Kursk, Belgorod, Tula, Bryansk (tour from Moscow - from 1,500 rubles). But you understand what makes the temple unusual only when you find yourself behind the heavy iron doors.

After the service begins, the man standing next to me begins to shake. A woman approaches the icons from behind. Kissing the image, she makes strange wheezing sounds. I forget about the first two when a howl rises in the vestibule of the temple - a young-looking woman screams until she is hoarse:

- Mom-ah! Why did he come?

No one but me flinches from this - we’re used to it.

A man with shaking hands begins to behave strangely. He prostrates himself and stands on all fours in front of the iconostasis. When the priest passes with the censer, two parishioners fall to the floor screaming and twitch as if the smoke is pressing them into the floor.

This is the very beginning. After communion, to which only three people approached, a prayer service for the sick begins, or simply a reprimand. The cost of participation in the ceremony is 150 rubles. You need to sign up, then your name will be called during the general prayer.

- Who came with you? Are you alone? - the grandmother is surprised at the candle table.

Usually families come here. This is not the first time that parents have brought a girl of about 7 years old in a pink jumpsuit. Unlike me, she doesn't flinch when the congregation starts growling and barking.

The priest goes around the audience many times - he fumigates with a censer, touches the Gospel, the cross and the bag with relics. The audience screams and writhes every time, filling the temple with a howl that can be heard even from outside.

– Zinka is a fool, he lives with her! - a parishioner shouts, rolling on the floor after anointing.

“Let me in, I’ll rip out his beard,” another woman tries to reach Father Igor.

Three tall assistants help restrain the most violent ones. If someone falls, the heroes do not interfere; they calmly watch as the women wipe the floor with their dresses. Some “possessed” people take off their shoes and socks and continue to crawl barefoot. The regulars watch and talk quietly:

– Now Masha has become calmer. Three years ago, when I came for the first time, I completely undressed.

Father Igor Sukhanov feels at home among this audience:

“Wow, what gutta-percha,” he says to the young girl, who squirms when he approaches her with a cross.

Archpriest Igor Sukhanov

Navalny's expulsion

I didn’t hear any conversations between parishioners about God and religion here. They only discuss the behavior of demons and the sensations of their exit from the soul.

“I don’t know what to do, as soon as I leave the temple, he sits back down,” the young girl argues busily.

Father Igor’s sermon also sounds unusual. After talking about how to fight the servants of the devil, he ends like this:

– Now everyone is talking about Navalny. He makes everything scary. I don't know who believes him. The church, of course, is outside of politics, but I believe that if he became president, we would become another state in America. And we would not have a mom and dad, but parent number 1 and parent number 2.

On the days of reprimand, Father Igor is on his feet from 8 am to 4 pm. At the eighth hour, you notice that those who are raging still keep themselves within certain limits. Despite the hellish torment, no one fights, destroys interiors, or shouts obscene words. The demons that move out here and move back into the streets in whole flocks honor the Criminal Code. Many of the parishioners hold special plastic bags - they spit “foam” into them (it’s more careful this way).

“It’s actually not that scary,” smiles after the service the woman who was howling and hiding from the holy water under a bench. She looks satisfied, refreshed and, it seems, even happy. In a week she will come here again.

“Write in the column with whom you fornicated”

For a long time, the most famous exorcist in Russia was considered Archimandrite German from the Lavra in Sergiev Posad. After his death in 2020, this title is inherited by Hieromonk Vladimir (Gusev) from the town of Livny. He has a personal website and clips on YouTube. In 2016, as part of the metal band “Exorcist,” the monk recorded a song about how Lenin must be taken away from the walls of the Kremlin (after his departure, Nikita Dzhigurda became the vocalist). Vladimir conducts lectures in several churches in the Oryol and Moscow regions at once. Pilgrims are brought by buses from several regions. Already within a week all places have been sold out. The “most productive” four-day tour to an exorcist will cost 10 thousand rubles. The amount includes not only a report, but also an individual conversation with the priest, as well as accommodation in a special hotel. Even if you come on your own to the official residence - the lost village of Mikhailovskoye - you will have to pay 1,900 rubles.

“Advance payment – by transfer to a Sberbank card,” warns Vladimir’s meek assistant, mother Evgenia Tsivtsivadze. – And under no circumstances should you write a commentary on the translation.

Sberbank’s online service determines the full name of the recipient of the money. This is the namesake of mother, in whose name the pilgrimage service “Love of Orthodoxy” is registered. Most often she takes the suffering to Vladimir Gusev. There are other directions - last year “Love of Orthodoxy” visited the monastery of the disgraced schema-abbot Sergius Romanov.

Before meeting with the exorcist, mother gives instructions in a voice message on WhatsApp:

- Write three sheets of paper. On the first one you indicate “fornication.” Here you list all the people with whom you had sexual relations: Marina, Elena, Alexander, Ahmed, Mahmud... Be sure to indicate if you had same-sex relations. Write if you have handjobs and a craving for watching pornography...

On the second piece of paper you need to write whether the person went to sorcerers and magicians. On the third - about your grievances.

Eyewitnesses say that the personal conversation with the priest lasts about 20 minutes. This time is only enough to detect the demon. In order to “work with the disease”, you need to come regularly.

Kremlin Elder

From Shakhovo to Mikhailovsky – about 150 kilometers. The proximity of two exorcism centers is not a coincidence. Both priests call themselves the spiritual children of the local Schema-Archimandrite Elijah (Nozdrin), confessor of Patriarch Kirill. For his close relationship with federal officials, Ilya is called the “Kremlin elder.” Governors and federal officials come to bow to him. According to Dmitry Peskov, Vladimir Putin also met with Ily several times. He, in turn, called on the flock to support the president in the 2018 elections. The relationship between government and the church is the main theme in the schema-archimandrite’s sermons. In his native Oryol region, he consecrated a monument to Ivan the Terrible in 2016. However, he also supported the installation of a monument to Boris Yeltsin. According to Vladimir Gusev (who, according to documents, has a son named after Elijah), the schema-archimandrite himself practiced lectures in the 90s, but left the practice due to health problems.

Elder Eli – confessor of the exorcists and the Patriarch

Stink and dirty mattresses

The reprimand was one of the signature events of the disgraced schema-abbot Sergius Romanov, who is now awaiting trial on a case of extremism in Matrosskaya Tishina.

Another “elder” whom even the church itself looks askance at is Schema-Archimandrite Ioannikiy from Chikhachevo (Ivanovo region).

Some pilgrims to Chikhachevo are put to bed right in the temple

Last year, Sobesednik correspondent Olga Kuznetsova went to reprimand him and was very impressed: pilgrims are forced to sleep on dirty, smelly mattresses near a pig farm and eat from dirty dishes. At the same time, parishioners are constantly insulted and called for humility. The cost of such a reception should be estimated at pennies, but at least 2,000 rubles are charged from each pilgrim for a ticket to the “elder”.

In October last year, the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church initiated a church trial of Ioannikios.

“He is very close to Sergius Romanov in ideology,” says professor of theology and expert on sects Alexander Dvorkin. “I think he will also be defrocked.”

The sectologist does not welcome the practice of mass reprimands in general. According to him, even Patriarch Alexy II said at one diocesan meeting that first of all one should “reprimand those who scold.” This is a completely unconventional phenomenon that degenerates into some kind of hysterical, gloomy shows. As an Orthodox person, I understand that demonic possession undoubtedly happens. But if we turn to the lives of the saints, it is clear: it has always been exclusively individual. Reprimands bring popularity and increase the income of the priests who conduct them. People are starting to visit them. In some dioceses, the hierarchy supports such events or simply does not interfere with them.

Parishioners share their experiences with each other

“I have a demon inside me for 40 years”

60-year-old St. Petersburg resident Elena is a regular on forums and communities about exorcism. On the Internet, she willingly tells neophytes about her problem. According to Elena, the evil spirit moved in when she was 21 years old, after a colleague who was escorting her home kissed her at the entrance. The next few days, she said, were the worst of her life - she could not eat and felt a terrible tension that she still feels. The woman claims that there is an incubus inside her (a creature that appears to women in the form of an ideal man and feeds on their life force). All these years she was looking for deliverance - she went to the exorcist Vasily Borin, to Father Panteleimon in Pskov, to Archimandrite German in Sergiev Posad. The visits provided temporary relief, but did not completely drive out the demon.

This is very similar to the behavior of pilgrims in the village of Shakhovo, where many come every week - the more often, the more clearly they feel their problem. Those who twitch and growl the most here are those who have been “reporting” for years.

“If they didn’t scream and there was no reaction, this does not mean that the person is healthy,” says local parishioner Irina. – The demon may not manifest itself the first time. You need to attend the lecture three times, then you will understand, and finally you can talk about it with the priest.

In general, there would be someone to expel, but there will always be a demon in a pilgrim.

Diagnosis

Vyacheslav Tarasov, a psychiatrist and specialist in problems of mass consciousness, answered questions from the Interlocutor. “Most often it’s hysteria”

Are people who scream and cry during lectures healthy?

– They are not necessarily sick. Someone - yes. But there are many people with increased suggestibility and high levels of emotionality. These are the things that most often lead to this type of behavior at events like this.

Why are there always more women among them?

– The most common disease among the “possessed” is hysteria. It can also be accompanied by feelings of communication with God or the devil. This is a serious disease and requires medical treatment. Teenage girls and older women are most susceptible to it. In addition, society treats women's tears and hysterics with understanding. A man who cries and roars does not arouse sympathy from society.

Why does a person feel better after “casting out demons”?

– We all carry a large burden of emotional experiences. There are different ways to cope with it - sports, sex, alcohol, drugs, dancing and so on. Some people use it and relieve tension, for others it is unacceptable, and they have nothing else left to do. At such events, this emotional tension is released. Therefore, after reprimands, a person feels lighter and even feels deep satisfaction. And naturally, there is a desire to visit again. Addiction is a strong word. Let's say a need.

Can mass reprimands weaken the psyche?

– How useful or not this is useful must be decided individually. For some this is a solution, but for others it can be dangerous. After all, if any of us are placed in a group of people who see hallucinations, most likely we will begin to see them too.

But I can say that in my 30 years of practice, I have not seen a reprimand end in some kind of accident.

Exorcist priests say that psychiatry cannot explain everything.

– We can’t explain everything. And priests cannot explain everything. But our task is not to explain, but to treat mentally ill people. We are coping with this task. And sooner or later there will be explanations.

The material was published in the publication “Interlocutor” No. 04-2021 under the title “Demon, get out!”

How to exorcise a demon yourself?

A person has trouble falling asleep, sleeps restlessly, screams in his sleep, and wakes up tired in the morning. Sometimes he complains of nightmares and says that he feels pain in his muscles.

Seeing this, some Jews, traveling exorcists tried to call on the name of the Lord Jesus on the possessed people to speak with evil spirits. “We adjure you by Jesus, whom Paul preaches” They thought that casting out demons was some kind of magical ritual, but the devil himself replied that he knew Jesus and knew who Paul was, but who were they supposed to cast him out? And he attacked them in such a way that he left them without clothes and wounded.

The devil does not submit to those who do his will because, as Jesus himself said, if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how will his kingdom stand? Jesus himself, being the son of God, left an example of how to have authority. And the result of this unconditional obedience to Heavenly Father was.

A possessed person may start laughing or swearing for no reason.

The possessed person loses weight dramatically. His complexion becomes gray or yellow. The whites of the eyes turn red, but doctors do not consider the person sick.

Holy water, icons, a cross cause an attack of fear or disgust. Such a person can throw an icon on the floor or tear off another’s pectoral cross.

Taste habits change. The possessed person wants bloody meat. Sometimes he eats raw food.

&bull A person begins to drink a lot of alcohol. Every day he wants alcohol more and more.

Do it in a whisper. Place an icon nearby, place a bowl of holy water and light church candles. If the patient begins to scream, sprinkle him with water and cross him. Before praying, ask the Almighty for help.

How is an exorcism session performed?

Nowadays, it is customary to record the exorcism ritual on camera. Video is usually necessary to demonstrate to non-believers in the existence of demons and demons. In addition, such videos are necessary for beginning exorcists, who must know what they need to prepare for and what the path they have chosen for themselves is. In the old days, the inquisitor or priest who read the sacred words of exorcism had an assistant who documented everything that happened to the patient and how the demon behaved. Besides, these are modern church rules.

During an exorcism session, there must be witnesses to what is happening - at least one person. In the old days, the relatives of the patient were called, but now the situation with witnesses has not changed much. There are many reasons for their presence. Relatives must be convinced that the suffering of their loved one is over. Their observations will be made public, which will convince more than one person of the existence of a problem that most do not even believe in.

In addition, there is another reason for the presence of witnesses - frequent fatal accidents. Evil spirits can cause harm to a person's physical body during the process of exorcism. The non-infliction of physical harm by the exorcist must be recorded by witnesses, and these should be not only his assistants, but also people who are close relatives of the patient. Of course, witnesses must be warned about what they will see. Sometimes there is also a doctor present who is engaged in providing exclusively medical care to those suffering from the machinations of the forces of evil.

Both witnesses and the priest or exorcist must confess before the exorcism is performed. Fasting is also necessary, the longer the better, but, as a rule, such patients cannot always wait forty days, so three or nine days is the optimal time for fasting.

The exorcism spell is cast in the sick person's bedroom. There should be nothing in the room except the bed on which the patient is, and a table with a crucifix, holy water, a prayer book and a church candle. Everything else needs to be moved to another room - carpets, curtains, lamps, interior decorations and even cabinets and other bulky furniture. Evil spirits are capable of moving objects; during exorcism, they can throw things and drop them, which is quite dangerous.

It is customary to keep windows and doors closed to protect neighbors and passers-by from evil spirits, as well as to protect the sick, whom the demon can force to throw himself from a height. If there is no door in the patient's bedroom, the doorway is covered with black cloth.

What is a report?

This ritual action has come to us since pagan times, when ancient magicians, sorcerers and priests helped people get rid of damage, the evil eye and other negative influences with the help of cleansing spells and prayers. The principle of any reading is that negative energy is removed from the victim and transferred to another object.

In some cases, damage can be returned to the one who cast it, if his name can be found out, and very rarely is transferred to animals. Most often, the negative impact is simply removed from the charmed person and neutralized with the help of certain objects and ordinary earth.

A lecture against damage can be carried out in an Orthodox church or in a magic salon.

Depending on who performs the ritual - a master magician or a clergyman, the essence of the ritual can differ significantly, namely:

  • If a magical reading is needed, it is always carried out individually. Apart from the magician and the victim, there cannot be anyone else in the room. The magician finds out a specific problem that worries the person who turns to him, and directs his actions to get rid of it. During the procedure, the master reads the necessary spells or conspiracies, removing damage or other negative effects on a certain object, and then neutralizes it;
  • What is reprimand in the Orthodox Church? This ritual is performed on certain days in some churches. To do this, at the same time, a significant number of people gather in a large hall who want to remove the negative impact of a person from the outside. The clergyman reads prayers, psalms and canons for a certain period of time in order to cleanse those around him of corruption. A reprimand in church can only help truly believing people who trust in God in everything and are ready to sincerely repent to him of their sins. This ritual has a low degree of protection, since during its implementation the negative impact removed from one person can spread to another.

Thus, church reading is a less effective means of getting rid of damage than magical reading. However, for Orthodox people it is the only way to remove the induced negative impact, since magical rituals are unacceptable for them.

The number of necessary reports in both cases is determined in each specific situation, depending on the strength and statute of limitations of the damage caused. Sometimes just one session is enough, however, in most cases, in order to completely rid the human body of the influence of harmful effects, 3-4 rituals are required. In addition, if during the church reading of prayers there was a transfer of damage from one believer to another, he will need several more sessions to get rid of this negativity.

This ritual is also used for cleansing from evil eyes, curses, love spells, replanting, and so on.

Exorcist

In the Ancient Church there was a special church rank - exorcist.

Exorcists were supplied by bishops, as were deacons and priests. But already in the third century, the canons prohibited the provision of exorcists, citing the fact that “the glorious feat of exorcism is a matter of the voluntary favor and grace of God through Christ, by the influx of the Holy Spirit, because he who has received the gift of healing is shown through revelations from God and the grace that is in him, is obvious to everyone.” Saints who had acquired the grace of the Holy Spirit began to heal those possessed by demons.

The special rite of reprimand in the breviary of Metropolitan Peter Mogila, which is used by modern exorcists, is of Catholic origin, and in the Russian Church it has not received any practical recognition. “None of the Russian saints ever reprimanded, and precisely because he was holy, that is, he had the gift of the Holy Spirit, with which he performed healings,” writes Prof. Osipov. And he is absolutely right, because “this generation is driven out only by prayer and fasting” (Matthew 17:21), i.e. an ascetic, holy life, in which the Lord grants grace for the healing of those possessed by demons. What cannot be said about many modern exorcists who do not even have the blessing of a bishop to carry out reprimands, which goes against the sacred canons of the Orthodox Church: “Those who are not descended from bishops should not exorcise either in churches or in houses...” (Canon 26 of the Council of Laodicea ). What kind of acquisition of the Holy Spirit can we talk about when priests do not have the usual humility and obedience to the Mother Church? So the demoniacs come to them in droves, 5, 10, 15 times, without receiving healing. Moreover, it is not a fact that most of them are truly possessed, who can no longer control their will.

There is another terrible misconception among admirers of reprimand. They place reprimand above the Sacraments of the Church. Sometimes you hear the following: “Here, I confess, take communion, fast, pray and nothing helps, I need to go to a reprimand.” What a misconception! No madness, i.e. This person actually does not have real possession by evil spirits. If a person was able to confess himself, take communion, constantly pray and fast, then the evil one would have left him long ago, because... he doesn't tolerate any of this. Most likely, a person is possessed by a highly developed passion that he does not want to part with, perhaps there is an unrepentant sin that has darkened his mind, and it may even be that he has a mental illness, but not possession. But such a person goes to be reprimanded and returns with nothing, and sometimes even in an even worse spiritual state, when he is no longer so far from real obsession.

Another harmful effect of mass reprimands is their accessibility. Anyone can sign up for a lecture, go to the temple and stand at the prayer service. It is no secret that such a “spiritual attraction” is very popular among pilgrim services, which take people to the lecture as an excursion, at the same time offering to participate in it in order to check for the presence of demons in pilgrims. A kind of indicator of demons, a litmus test. But many people go for it, participating in lectures for the sake of idle curiosity. And what is the horror of these people when they suddenly begin to feel bad during a lecture. That's it, a person begins to consider himself possessed! And the terrible ordeal of this unfortunate man begins, who became a victim of wicked advertising and the guide’s dishonesty. And the poor fellow has no idea that a completely healthy person can feel unpleasant and even ill when the entire surrounding atmosphere puts pressure on him during a reprimand, or even worse - someone nearby begins to moo, growl, spew curses and blasphemy.

Often, lectures are recorded on video, audio recordings are distributed, and some exorcists even manage to interview demons. It's kind of crazy! The Lord forbade demons to speak, the saints followed his example, and then some young hieromonk organizes a talk show “Let them talk.” Watching and listening to such recordings is a direct path to being attacked by the evil one. After all, he sees the interest shown by a person and will not hesitate to warm it up with something cooler.

It seems that if reprimand has the right to exist in the modern world, then it should be purely individual for each person, followed by individual spiritual work to correct the person’s life, which led to obsession. The priest must necessarily have the blessing of the bishop and, most importantly, must have a high spiritual level and experience, very close to holiness, otherwise he himself may be put to shame by the evil one for his daring, and will not benefit the possessed.

Questions and answers

Spells for a child against the evil eye, against a hernia, against fear, for sound sleep - are they considered demonic? How does the Church feel about this?

Hello, father! I have the following question: are spells for a child against the evil eye, against a hernia, against fear, for sound sleep - are they considered demonic? How does the Church feel about this? Olga.

Priest Dionysius Svechnikov answers:

Hello Olga! Undoubtedly, conspiracies have nothing to do with God. A conspiracy is an appeal to demons, calling them for help. But ask yourself: can there be help from the evil one? No, he can not. And, of course, the Church has a negative attitude towards conspiracies. Read the usual prayers for children, regularly take your child to church for communion, and take communion yourself.

Sincerely, priest Dionisy Svechnikov.

Please tell me how to spell water correctly.

Hello! Please help me figure it out. I'm very interested in one question. I read in one newspaper that before any water spells you need to read a prayer, and only then read prayers for water against illness, against damage, etc. Is it true? This prayer was also given there, which must be read before any water spells, here it is: Lord my God, may your holy gift and your holy water be for the forgiveness of my sins, for the enlightenment of my mind, for the strengthening of my mental and physical strength, for the health of my soul and body, in the subjugation of my passions and infirmities according to Thy infinite mercy through the prayers of Thy Most Pure Mother and all Thy saints. Amen. Please tell us how to chant water correctly, what prayers (“Our Father” or some others) should be read before this, and when is the best time to chant water: in the morning or in the evening. Best regards, Ekaterina.

Priest Dionysius Svechnikov answers:

Hello, Ekaterina!

I hasten to disappoint you - you cannot slander water, it is a sin of sorcery. Water is blessed in the temple and only priests do this. Lay people do not have the right to bless water. And slander is real witchcraft, communication with demons. Reading an Orthodox prayer before a slander carries a blasphemous function, desecrating the prayer with a subsequent conspiracy. By the way, the prayer that is suggested to be read before the conspiracy is read before eating holy water and prosphora (church bread). I advise you not to fall into the sin of sorcery and witchcraft and not to read conspiracies over water. Go to the temple and get holy water. It will be much more useful. And it is not the spoken water that protects a person from damage and witchcraft, but life according to the commandments of God. Go to church regularly, confess, take communion, fast and pray. Then the Lord will protect you from all evil.

Is it possible for a person to be treated by rolling out an egg, or is this a sin?

Priest Dionysius Svechnikov answers:

Hello Irina!

This method is used in magical practices. Undoubtedly, any practice of magic is a sin. And to get health, you need to fervently pray to God, and not roll eggs.

I found out that I have a family curse, how can I remove it?

Priest Dionysius Svechnikov answers:

Hello, Lena!

How did you know? Who told you this? How does this manifest itself? I cannot get answers to these questions without talking to you. Therefore, go to the temple and talk to the priest in person.

Sincerely, priest Dionisy Svechnikov.

Are there Orthodox methods of removing damage?

Hello, father! My family, i.e. My mother and I have a terrible problem - in her youth, my mother was damaged, several times and by different people... The trouble is that it passed on to me... Our life is like one big dark hole from which there is no light... We are baptized and we really believe in the Lord, and I know that you cannot turn to grandmothers and magicians, and therefore I always pray to the Lord that he will help remove the evil illness from us, I sentence that “there is no force in the world more powerful than our Lord, you merciful and almighty, please help us,” something like this. We often go to church, pray, and lead a Christian life. I specifically went to church one day to discuss this issue with the priest, but unfortunately, he could not explain anything clearly... Sometimes I am visited by thoughts of death, that it would be good to be close to God, and not on this earth, where some fortune teller or magician can distort your destiny and whatever you undertake is useless, because... there is a conspiracy against you... This is very painful and offensive. Father, I beg you to tell me what to do, maybe in Orthodoxy there is a method of removing damage? Thank you in advance. God bless you! Gayane.

Can a person during his lifetime have the “power of a miraculous icon”?

Hello. I saw an advertisement in the newspaper with the following content: “Grandma Anya, with 50 years of experience, masters white and black magic... has the power of a miraculous icon...”. Question: is it possible for a person to “possess the power of an icon” during his lifetime? Moreover, if magic is mentioned, this is a complete deception according to church canons? (I’m asking for my mother, I don’t know for sure, but I think that she sometimes confuses the concepts of magic and Christianity, and may fall for such a trick). Pauline.

Archpriest Alexander Ilyashenko answers:

Hello, Polina!

You are right: this ad is an advertising ploy designed for people with little church life. After all, we receive help from the Lord through icons, and magicians, if they are not outright charlatans, call upon fallen spirits - demons - for help. Turning to magicians is a grave sin; moreover, such treatment results in more harm than good.

Sincerely, Archpriest Alexander Ilyashenko.

Is there any ritual or prayer against damage and the evil eye?

Hello! Tell me, please, is there any ritual or prayer for damage and the evil eye? I really don’t want to turn to psychics. Analysis of the last two years suggests that someone deliberately interfered in my life. Thank you. Tatiana.

Priest Dionysius Svechnikov answers:

Hello Tatiana!

There are no such rituals, just like special prayers. There are prayers to the svmch. Cyprian, to whom, according to tradition, he prays for deliverance from witchcraft. I'm glad you know how to analyze. But our problems, as a rule, have only one cause - ourselves and our own sins. Therefore, I advise you to go to the temple and talk to the priest. Tell him about your problems and what worries you. Try to figure this out together.

Sincerely, priest Dionisy Svechnikov.

How does the consecration of cars, homes, etc. differ from a magical ritual?

My question is how the consecration of cars, dwellings, and so on differs from a magical ritual. After all, here there is no that special prayerful connection of the repentant soul with God, which certainly should be. According to the Apostle Paul, whoever does not properly approach the sacraments suffers illness and even death. How can an inanimate object “properly receive the sacraments? Is this only possible in magic?

Priest Philip Parfenov answers:

Dear Mikhail Petrovich!

Magic is only interested in cause-and-effect relationships: if you do this, you will get something else. Of course, in the popular consciousness there may be a magical attitude not only to the consecration of objects, but also to the church sacraments themselves, to the same communion, for example.

But with the right attitude towards the consecration of inanimate objects, nothing like this exists. When you have to bless cars at the request of some people prone to magic, sometimes you are reminded that consecration itself does not guarantee anything, and in any case you need to know and follow traffic rules in order to avoid getting into an accident (sober-minded people understand this perfectly well). It’s just that Christians try to dedicate to God not only themselves, but also everything around them that somehow comes into contact with them. Someday, we hope that “God will be all in all,” as the Apostle Paul writes (1 Cor. 15:28). And everything material in our world will not be destroyed, but will be transformed. So, in the consecration of some objects, we simply “give” them to God so that He will keep us together with them, but this does not at all mean that they “receive the sacraments.”

Sincerely, priest Philip Parfenov.

How do I need to repent so that the Lord will forgive the love spell I made?

How should I repent (I made a love spell on my blood for my husband, who is now 4 years old) so that the Lord forgives and the love spell loses its power? This was 15 years ago. All due to stupidity and ignorance. It was necessary to simply disperse, because there was no life. Just don’t scold me, I’ve already eaten myself up for this throughout the entire period of my marriage and to this day. With respect, Nadezhda.

Archpriest Alexander Ilyashenko answers:

Hello, Nadezhda!

Sympathize with you! Very often, out of ignorance or ignorance, people commit grave sins and then suffer. But sin and its consequences can only be overcome by repentance. You must repent fervently and sincerely and sincerely confess. And not only because they cast a love spell, but also because they failed to save your family. For more specific advice, ask the priest who will receive your confession.

Sincerely, Archpriest Alexander Ilyashenko.

How to reason with a friend who has read a conspiracy?

Hello, someone advised my friend to throw a coin with earth at the funeral and say a conspiracy, I don’t know exactly what, something to make money, which she did. Since that time, misfortunes have rained down on her, mostly of a material nature, she lost her job, was unable to repay the loan on time, got into debt, every day something was beating and breaking in the house... She cries and believes that she caused damage to herself and wants to go to grandmothers or sorcerers to remove it and be cured. And I tell her to go to church, repent, confess, ask God for forgiveness, because this is a great sin. Please tell me what to advise her, how to reason with her and protect her from further mistakes. Catherine.

Priest Dionysius Svechnikov answers:

Hello, Ekaterina!

You are right, I have nothing to add to this. If you bring sincere repentance to God, then there is hope for correction. She will not find salvation from grandmothers and sorcerers, but will only make things worse for herself.

Exorcism in Judaism

In Judaism, exorcism refers to the expulsion of a dybbuk.
A dybbuk is an evil spirit that once led a far from righteous lifestyle and could not find peace in the afterlife. Since he cannot go to the afterlife, he is forced to look for a new body. Accordingly, his expulsion is associated with rites of repose of the evil spirit. If he goes to the afterlife, he will stop harming. The expulsion of the dybbuk is carried out by a tzaddik - a rabbi who has a reputation for righteousness and significant authority among Jews. Witnesses to the ceremony - a minyan, or ten adult Jewish men - are required to be present.

The ritual of getting rid of an evil spirit in Judaism is accompanied by the blowing of the shofar, which is a reference to Yom Kippur - as the Jews call the Day of Judgment. During the ritual, funeral prayers are read; they give the lost, embittered soul the opportunity to move to where it belongs.

Samael in Kabbalah

In Kabbalah, Samael is considered the Angel of Death, the main ruler of the Fifth Heaven and one of the seven regents of the world. Yalkut Shimoni speaks of Samael as Esau's guardian angel. In the Mishnah, Samael is designated as the guardian angel of Eden.

He is responsible for the fall of Eve, who gave birth to Cain from Samael.

Although some sources write that Eve was seduced by Azazel, others write that it was Samael who led her into temptation, appearing to her in the form of a serpent.

Samael is also the angel who restrained Abraham's hand when he was ready to sacrifice his son to God.

In the Holy Kabbalah, Samael is described as the "severity of God", and is listed as one of the five archangels in the sephira of Geburah (see Structure of the Tree of Life in the Kabbalah). Samael is also considered the husband of Lilith after she left Adam. According to the Book of Zohar, Samael was also the father and husband of the demonic harlots Noema (Nahema) and Agrat bat Mahalat.

The name Samael is sometimes confused in some books with the name of Camael, the Archangel of God, whose name means "He who sees God."

Samael is mentioned in the legends about Besht, who found Samael's house while wandering through the Carpathian forest (Ternopil region)

How does a reprimand from damage and curses occur?

A reprimand is a church rite that requires special permission from the diocese. Monastic reprimand is permitted in the most severe cases. Initially, chastising with prayers from damage in the church was carried out to expel demons that had found their refuge in the body of a believer, in other words, exorcism rites. In modern times, the church is allowed to reprimand not only the possessed, but also seriously ill people, as well as those faced with major troubles in life. However, first you should try to reprimand yourself, and if it doesn’t work out, then contact the church. It is noted that the church should be the very last hope.

The reason for such categoricalness is the following. If a person was unable to help himself and turned to the church, then later after recovery he will be obliged to change his life quite seriously, more precisely, to lead a righteous lifestyle, observing all Orthodox traditions. If this condition is violated, then the damage, illness or other ailment that the priest worked on will return again, but the consequences will be many times stronger.

How to recognize the presence of damage

Among the most common signs of damage are:

  • blackening of the cross,
  • in any holy place you feel bad,
  • when reading a prayer you begin to yawn,
  • you are afraid of the smell of incense and it makes you feel sick.

These are just a few of them. But as soon as you have identified at least one thing, you should immediately think about solving this problem. Most often, reprimand with prayers against damage is recommended. Remember that solving this problem takes a lot of time and effort and you shouldn’t count on getting a quick result. Sometimes it happens that the whole family is affected by this.

In this case, it is worth solving this problem comprehensively. You can reprimand with prayers not only at home, but also in church. It is believed that the prayed place contains a certain energy. There are certain clergy who do not welcome rituals to remove damage in the church, as they consider them witchcraft. But for a believer, such an action should be prohibited.

But in this case, they have their own proofreading. This is a magpie and a reprimand that will help a person get rid of evil spirits. Sorokoust is the reading of a prayer for a deceased person for 40 days in order to help his soul pass all the tests before the judgment. Often this prayer is ordered for living people, to help solve a problem.

The best article for you, go to: Do-it-yourself amulet against damage

In case of severe damage, you can simultaneously order a sorokoust for health in 3 churches. The result will depend on the diligence of this procedure. That is why it is recommended to order such a ceremony in small churches.

Reporting is considered to be a more coordinated method. When reprimanding the exorcism of a demon, strong incantatory prayers are used that will help cope with this problem. It is believed that after such a ritual, the person on whom the ritual was performed must change his life and begin to follow Christian traditions. If this is not done, the condition may worsen.

How to work with the demon Abara - the secrets of church magic

Since ancient times, it has been believed that the church provides almost ideal protection from various black witchcraft and evil magic, but nevertheless, in Slavic traditions there are a huge number of rituals that are associated with the deliberate induction of negativity, in which the church plays the main role. You can both remove damage to a church and restore it. Almost everyone knows the harmful effects on a living person who has a candle lit in church for his repose.

The church demon appears in such places. Overall, he has a huge number of ways to appear. If at least one priest in the parish leads a riotous lifestyle, is partial to alcohol, is engaged in gluttony or money-grubbing, then, according to the saying about “a holy place is never empty,” his place will very quickly be taken by the corresponding church demon, who will do his unclean things. affairs directly under the cover of the church.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytdevru

Another possibility for the birth of such a demon exists when people who are unclean in their hands and in their heads often come to church to “be like everyone else,” to confess, but not repent. And the more people with evil thoughts attend church, the stronger and more active the demon becomes in it. This also applies to directly harmful and evil rituals that can be carried out under a church dome - not every damage is caused with the help of Abara, but every such ritual pleases him and feeds him with strength.

Direct rituals of “blackening” or desecration of temples are also known. They can be carried out both during construction and directly with an already built and operating church for a long time. For example, one of the well-known methods of “blackening” a church was placing several icons under the floor.

This will require you to frequently visit churches and perform various blasphemies there - the more evil you do in the church, the better you will succeed in subsequent evil church magic and the more pleased the church demon will be. So the simplest options to achieve his favor would be to turn candles upside down, spit on icons and damage them.

It should be noted that most godwits prefer to work as late as possible in the evening - in this case, the likelihood that the magician will be noticed for indecent behavior is lower, and the power of the demon is higher. It is also believed that one should not work with the church demon on Sundays. But on church holidays, on the contrary, any damage and black witchcraft carried out in the church will be much stronger.

In this case, the greeting, first of all, should be said from the heart - its words are not as important as the meaning embedded in them.

Also, when choosing a church, you should take into account the presence in it of the icon of St. Nicholas - Abara’s main enemy. It must be in the church - it is in front of it that most magical actions will be carried out. Also, it should be noted that unlike working with demons, such as the demon Samael, Astaroth and others, the church demon is a much safer entity.

Sense of self-importance

Grigory Gorshunin, psychiatrist:

Not only people suffering from schizophrenia go to lectures, but also those who have hysterical personality traits. Some people find these rituals enjoyable. They find themselves in the center of attention, from their point of view, of an important person - the priest and the flock in general. The fact that they were “possessed by a demon” gives them importance, specialness. Among the “possessed” there may also be people suffering from psychosis with auditory hallucinations. Priests interpret this phenomenon differently: some advise taking medication, others recommend going to reprimands. In this case, this is, of course, a rather useless manipulation.

As for people of the hysterical type, they can imitate possession, especially when they are among believers. Fall to the floor in convulsions, wringing your hands, screaming loudly. When a person has an epileptic attack, he usually falls to the floor as if knocked down, and the hysterical person slowly slides off, he does not have the task of breaking his head. His consciousness is altered, but not disabled, as during epilepsy. But this is still a severe disorder of a psychotic level, hysterical psychosis. This is not a simulation. A person does not think: “Now I’ll take and portray a demon, and everyone will look at me.” This is a kind of unconscious imitation. They themselves fall into a trance. This is similar to self-hypnosis. This could be observed at Kashpirovsky’s sessions. There were always people sitting in the front rows who started twisting their heads and arms. And along the chain, others began to imitate them.

Naturally, among the possessed there are delusional patients who really go to drive out certain individuals from themselves and deeply believe in God. Then this is no longer hysteria. For some time, the ritual performed will have an effect on the person, but then everything will return to normal.

“Terry” hysterics usually do not turn to psychotherapists. They have no motivation and criticism for their condition. They do not admit that they are sick. There are actually people who are aware of the disease and control themselves. But scolding is a cheaper and more ostentatious way. Still, you won’t show the doctor much; there isn’t much of an audience there. And the priest has a flock. She may take pity on the possessed. These people go to lectures all their lives, because severe hysteria is treated, but not cured. Lifelong therapy is needed.

Reprimand in church with holy water

This type of getting rid of negativity in the temple is additional than the main remedy. They use holy water for any ritual. Blessed water will become an indispensable assistant in getting rid of damage in any white magic ritual, which involves appealing to Christian saints.

A prayer service is performed over the water twelve times. Choose any temple, the main thing is that the water is blessed by a priest whose strength of faith you do not doubt. And use it constantly, and not when you are expelling negativity. The consecrated one will protect from damage and the evil eye, as well as evil spirits.

Drink three sips in the morning and before bed. They sprinkle it on the house and clothes, sprinkle dishes and wash

They douse themselves after the bath, wash themselves, but there is no need to dry off afterwards, it is important that it dries naturally

Where demons are cast out of people in Russia and Ukraine

Trinity-Sergius Lavra in the city of Sergiev Posad.

Priests from ancient monasteries have the blessing to conduct lectures. In Russia there is one holy place where reprimands are held - the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius in the city of Sergiev Posad. Previously, exorcisms were carried out in the Optina Desert, but recently the monks received a ban on exorcism. There are more such monasteries in Ukraine: Pochaev Lavra, Kiev Pechersk Lavra and others.

Father German from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra is the most famous exorcist in Russia. At the moment, only he has permission to perform the ritual of exorcism. Father Herman’s reprimands are widespread, which is why they are subject to harsh criticism from other priests.

There are known cases of healing during the service of Father Herman, but skeptics argue that hired actors played the role of the possessed. The opinion is confirmed by the fact that several sessions of exorcism are often required if the demon is strong enough, and even the possessed who are bedridden are cured at one time when the clergy reprimands them.

Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

In Ukraine, the most famous exorcist was Father Vasily Voronovsky from the Church of St. Michael in Lviv. Unfortunately, the minister died several years ago. Now exorcism sessions are held in many churches in Ukraine, including the Kiev Pechersk Lavra and the Cathedral of St. George in Lviv. The monastery in the village of Kolodievka, Ternopil region, is very popular. Rural exorcists work for free, considering exorcism their duty, but they do not answer questions about the rituals due to the ban.

People come to Father Superior Varlaam from the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary near Kiev not only from all over the country, but also from abroad. The priest has been conducting individual and group sessions for thirty years.

Father Varlaam claims that he distinguishes obsession from physical and mental illness. The church minister agrees that only those possessed by the Devil need reprimand, and not those suffering from damage, curses and physical illnesses. According to a Ukrainian exorcist, even babies who pay for the sins of their parents can be possessed.

Where do reports take place?

Often such a powerful ritual is performed in temples, monasteries, churches and cathedrals. To clarify this procedure, you should first contact the temple and find out about the time and date of the procedure. We can say with certainty that they are holding a lecture in the Sergius Lavra. The following rituals are performed in this temple:

  • reprimand with prayers,
  • reprimand for damage,
  • reprimand from demons,
  • reprimand with psalms.

Special mention is made of Father Herman, who conducts such rituals. He says that being told off in church is the most effective help for a person who is overcome by demons. Evil can be defeated if goodness and faith come out against it.

It is advisable to check the schedule of Sergiev Posad’s lecture by phone or on the Lavra’s website. But mostly services begin daily at 13:00. Father Herman holds the reception in the Church of John the Baptist. You can take a container with you and then collect sacred water.

What is called a curse in Orthodoxy?

Christians understand the concept of a curse as nothing more than a mental or verbally spoken message from one person from another, which is negative in nature and carries bad thoughts. Often such a message can be reinforced by rituals using black magic. Most often, curses are sent for loneliness, for a person to die, for poverty and much more.

Sometimes the effects of a curse can be very dangerous and destructive. Since during its expression a person splashes out the most negative emotions. It is believed that it begins to act precisely at the moment as soon as it is announced. And a kind of self-destruction program is launched. But if a person was a deeply religious person and visits a temple, then the program does not start working, but simply freezes over him. But it still remains dangerous because after a person’s death the program is passed on to his children. In this way, children pay for the sins of their relatives.

To prevent this from happening, Orthodox clergy recommend regularly reading a prayer that gets rid of all curses. But in order for it to work, it must be pronounced correctly.

What's happened?

The Theology Commission of the Russian Orthodox Church has developed a draft regulation for the practice of exorcism.
The head of the commission and representative of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, told RIA Novosti journalists about this. The need to develop regulations arose due to the fact that the rituals of exorcism existing in church traditions are often used without understanding them, and sometimes by the believers themselves, who do not have the right to engage in such practice and cannot determine possession. The Russian Orthodox Church began developing regulations after a video appeared on the Internet in which parents tried to expel evil spirits from their 10-year-old son. Then the head of the department for relations between the church and the media, Vladimir Legoyda, said:

To independently make a judgment that a person, and especially a child, is possessed by an evil spirit, and even more so to arbitrarily try to expel demons from him, is dangerous and harmful.

The clergy turned to believers with a request not to engage in “exorcism” on their own and decided to develop regulations for priests.

How demons are cast out from a person in church

The ritual has never changed, like the texts that were read many centuries ago to exorcise evil spirits.

Jesus Christ was not only the first exorcist, but also the creator of the only true rite of exorcism in Orthodoxy and Catholicism.

The prayer, the purpose of which is to reprimand from demons, is the longest in the canon of the Orthodox Church. It usually takes about twenty minutes to read. The text has not changed for several centuries. In modern reprimands from demons, the same prayers are read as in ancient times.

It is impossible to come to church and immediately go to an exorcism session. A priest who agrees to take on such a difficult and dangerous task must obtain permission from the bishop to conduct the ceremony. If there is no such permission, he can only read a prayer for the health of the sick person. In some cases it helps.

In addition, the priest must make sure that the matter is really the machinations of Satan, and not mental illness. Some confessors know how to sense the presence of evil spirits, and some conduct simple tests using holy water and a crucifix, which demons are afraid of. Their fear and disgust are always noticeable to others. An individual conversation between a person suspected of possession and a priest is a mandatory part of identifying evil spirits.

If a clergyman recognizes the presence of evil spirits and receives permission to reprimand him, then witnesses are selected from among close relatives and the ancient ritual is performed. Before it begins, witnesses confess and receive a blessing to be present at the exorcism session.

There are strict rules for selecting witnesses - they should not become weapons in the hands of the demon, and the faint of heart are also not allowed to see the terrible spectacle. Witnesses observe the ceremony and continuously read prayers.

After exorcising a demon, which may require more than one session, you should fast, pray to both the sick person and his relatives, order magpies and prayer services. If a person who has been driven out of a demon does not change his lifestyle in accordance with Christian morality, the demon may return.

Answer #20. A lecture from demons in the Moscow temple through B. Paul (Berger)

19.04.2020

*article in the process of creation.

What is the difference between proofreading, reprimanding from demons and healing from demons itself.

In the opinion of the average person, none, but the Word changes the movement of the motive of the spirit and does not accept a superficial approach.

A reprimand is something like giving a slap in the face without kicking you out or cleaning you up; in a word, it’s more like a show. Reprimands do not imply taking responsibility, and proofreading is a subtractive action of separating parasitic entities from the Image of God revealed in man. A lecture is when there is no preliminary conversation to determine the reasons, and there is no post-operative supervision.

Proofreading from demons and influences.

Proofreading is, first of all, identifying the reasons, at least possible. Rest and recapitulation of all doors opened by sins. Actually, without rest there is no beginning. If the conversation is translated into some kind of sermon in church, then this is absolutely not enough and this is a two-sided deception.

How proofreading is done by people to whom God has given this ministry.

Usually these are people who themselves have experience of settlements and repentance, from their own experience. They are aware of and have experienced being attacked or are familiar with attacks from demonic entities. If a person does not repent, then proofreading or reprimanding such people does not even begin, since it is not safe in the first place and in the second, even if the demons come out, then they usually go back, since the bodily vessel (man) continued to live according to its passions and the essence of their choices and ideas vibrate with the same spirits, but disembodied.

Confession - what is it?

The modern concept is distorted here and, in its false version, introduced into the Orthodox Church. Distortion is based on a Catholic motive and consists of the idea of transferring sins by telling them to a priest and throwing a contribution on a tray. All this is a perversion, a hypocritical fiction, a type of black church magic with a whirlwind tinge, simony. For such an approach, demons settle even deeper, and priests lose all Faith that is supported by the presence of the Holy Spirit and can receive infernal initiation into the hierarchy of darkness.

Confession - what is it? What is confession?

Confession of sins according to the word of Christ, then confession of sin consists in retribution with a good heart to those who have been offended by you 4 times or more.

This means that if you made a person unhappy, then, in addition to repentance, you must reward him with four times more good. Conditionally, he took 1,000 rubles, and must repay 4,000 rubles, and so on in all areas, and this is not a fine. What is meant here is that a person is confessing repentance through his current actions, through deeds!
