They say that a person cannot live outside of society; he needs society, a collective. There are objections: how did those who are called hermits, hermits, stylites live and live? It seemed like they were moving away from people, living alone. This is true. But such ascetics were not alone - they were with the Lord God, praying to him in their solitude. But these are special people who performed a special spiritual feat.
But ordinary people always need someone to be nearby: parents, friends, loved ones, children, relatives. Happy are those who find their true soul mate in life, “And he said: For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh” (Matthew 19:5 -6) – this rare gift is not given to everyone initially. Some people spend years looking for their love, while others never find it. And such situations do not depend on a person’s position in society, on his successes, financial condition, etc.
How to find your soulmate
Not everyone manages to quickly find love and start a family. Sometimes it takes many years, and sometimes a whole life, to find your soulmate. How to speed up a fateful meeting? Will prayer from loneliness and despondency become a reality?
Some people believe that Heaven only hears memorized prayers. This is a misconception. Words coming from the depths of the soul, with faith and hope, will certainly come true.
Prayer should consist of gratitude to God for what a person already has, repentance for sins committed and a request for marriage. It is important to mentally focus on the desire, then the right words themselves will “flow like a river.”
You cannot pray for the gift of love as a means of self-affirmation or pleasure. A prayer appeal will not help if a person’s desire is aimed at destroying someone else’s family, because you cannot build your happiness at the expense of other people’s grief. Deception and blackmail will also not bring the desired happiness. Prayer should be based only on pure and sincere thoughts.
It is forbidden to contact magicians, fortune tellers and other charlatans. Their actions are sinful. Even if witchcraft helps - this is temporary help, then terrible events may occur that leave a sinful mark on the soul and fate of a person.
When to read prayers
Often, many Orthodox Christians, despairing of finding that one person, fall into deep depression and become indifferent to practically everything. In this case, it is recommended to read a prayer against loneliness to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. It is highly recommended to perform the reading in the temple. However, if this is not possible, you can read the prayer at home in front of the icon. The saint will still hear the request and will help.
When a believer suspects that he has been damaged, he can remove it with the help of prayer to the Matrona of Moscow. This saint is one of the most revered in Orthodoxy. It has been proven that people who read prayers and asked for help in front of the Matrona icon were healed, found a family, prosperity, and so on.
Quite a large number of people come to the relics of the Saint and ask her for help. If there is such an opportunity, then you need to take advantage of it. It is believed that a woman who reads a prayer for loneliness will soon find that one person. At the same time, the affection will be mutual for many years.
Daily prayer to not be lonely
“Lord God, hear me, show me a new path, so that your help saturates my soul with light, so that my loneliness ends and does not return again. I will no longer miss my happiness, as the influence of the Lord descends on me, so a miracle will happen in my life. My paths will connect with those who need me, who will love me, and whom I can love. Let it be so. Amen. Amen. Amen"

How to pray for a miracle of love
To present a prayer request to a saint, you should follow several simple but very important rules:
- The request must come from the heart with great faith in the soul. You can pray both in church and at home. If there is no icon in the house, you can mentally imagine the image of the saint.
- First, you should visit the temple, buy three candles and light them to the three Saints of the Mother of God, Jesus Christ and Nicholas the Wonderworker.
- In your thoughts, read a short text in front of the image of St. Nicholas: “Wonderworker Nicholas, pacify the feeling of loneliness in me, I believe in Christian prophecies. Amen".
- Then buy three candles to take home.
- In complete privacy in a spare room, light three candles in front of the icons of three saints and begin a special prayer to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. Read the text in your thoughts, quietly, in an undertone.
Text of a woman’s prayer against loneliness to Nicholas the Wonderworker:
“Nicholas the Wonderworker, Defender and Savior. In sad thoughts I grieve and cry, I tirelessly spend my strength. From the loneliness of sorrow I gain, I bare my soul to sin. I believe that you can help, have mercy, allowing me to overcome my melancholy. Thy will be done. Amen.
Wonderworker Nicholas, God's Pleasant. Alone, days fly by, and bad thoughts wander. I pray that you grant forgiveness so that humility may take possession of me. I believe in the Church and God, let the road wind towards him. Thy will be done. Amen.
Nicholas the Wonderworker, Savior and Defender. Help me get to God, don’t let me give up on him. With loneliness, faith weakens, and the soul hurts from frustration. Let me meet only bright people, becoming kinder little by little. Thy will be done. Amen.
Cor. textWonderworker Nicholas, pacify the feeling of loneliness in me, I believe in Christian prophecies. Amen".
What prayer should you read to overcome the crown of celibacy?
The absence of a life partner often becomes a great challenge for a person. People, especially women, are created in such a way that they simply need to give their love and warmth to someone, and at the same time receive reciprocal feelings. However, personal life often does not work out. Today, women devote a lot of time to their careers, and they have no time and no place to meet potential candidates for their hand and heart.
And as the years go by, it becomes more and more difficult to find someone who meets the requirements, in whom we will see the future head of the family, a good, loving husband and father. In this case, do not hesitate to read the text of the prayer from celibacy to the Lord, the Mother of God, your patron saint.
Strong Orthodox prayer against celibacy for love
From time immemorial in Russia it was not considered shameful to ask God and the Mother of God for a good groom. After all, the Lord Himself, having created Adam, said “it is not good for man to be alone,” and created him a wife. In Orthodoxy, there are many icons of the Mother of God, in front of which it is customary to read a strong prayer from the crown of celibacy: Unfading Color, Feodorovskaya, Kazanskaya, Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Kozelshchanskaya.
Christian prayers for the celibacy of men and women are also read in front of the icons of some saints to whom the Lord gave the grace to arrange their destinies: the holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called, the holy Great Martyrs Catherine and Paraskeva Pyatnitsa, the blessed Matrona of Moscow and Xenia of St. Petersburg.
It is also good for holy married couples to pray from the crown of celibacy and the seal of eternal loneliness: Peter and Fevronia, Adrian and Natalia. And, of course, Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker helps you arrange your destiny and find a good groom. The text of the prayer for a successful marriage to Saint Nicholas can be found in any Orthodox prayer book.
How to end celibacy using Orthodox prayer
Of course, parental prayer and parental blessing are of great importance for the organization of children’s lives. Therefore, as soon as children reach marriageable age, parents need to read a strong prayer against celibacy and for the prosperous marriage of their children. The already mentioned icons of the Mother of God and saints are suitable for this.
In addition, it is important for parents to watch their words: it is unacceptable to tell their daughters “who needs you,” “who will marry you like that,” and similar things in the heat of a quarrel. If this happened, then, while reading the text of the prayer against the daughter’s celibacy wreath, do not forget to repent of the evil words. After all, the Bible says “In the beginning was the Word,” so the mother’s words are of great importance.
Why do prayers to a saint help?
Sometimes people want love, but don't understand what it is. Love must be given and not demand anything in return. Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of all people, was just such a person. For him, a person’s faith does not matter. He supported everyone. With his good deeds he became pleasing to God and people.
Saint Nicholas is not a fiction, but a real person who lived in the third century BC in Lycia, now the territory of Turkey. The boy was born into a family of wealthy Christians and studied diligently from childhood. He was attracted to holy teachings, he prayed tirelessly, observed fasts and talked with God at night. He did not play with other children and was deprived of idleness. When he visited the holy land, he decided to serve the Lord.
There are many legends about his actions. He helped three girls get married successfully by secretly giving their poor father gold coins as a dowry. The saint helped two loving hearts unite. A poor girl fell in love with a young man from a rich family, whose parents were against marrying a dowry-free woman. He also provided support in the marriage. Since then, girls believe that if you ask Saint Nicholas for a successful marriage, he will definitely help.
He is the patron saint of single people, children, travelers and sailors. Everyone who turns to the Saint with prayers to get rid of loneliness finds support. Loneliness is a hard thing. Many people suffer from this and become depressed and despondent. Dejection is a grave sin. It is better at such moments to turn to God in prayer.

Text of the Orthodox prayer to the Mother of God for celibacy
Virgin Mary, Most Holy Theotokos. Have mercy on my sinful soul and do not be angry at my hasty life. Forgive all the sins of my deceased relatives and do not punish me with lonely celibacy. Just as the Lord God gave everyone a couple, so let me meet my other half along the way. Cleanse me from the corrupted atonement and deliver me forever from celibate languor. Let the holy water wash away all the sinful soot and stop the curse along the bloodline. As the prayer is read, the crown of celibacy is removed. As soon as I drink some holy water, I will find long-awaited peace. Thy will be done. Amen.
Holy prayer for a girl to marry her loved one soon
Oh, All-Good Lord, I know that my great happiness depends on the fact that I love You with all my soul and with all my heart, and that I fulfill Your holy will in everything. Rule Yourself, O my God, over my soul and fill my heart: I want to please You Alone, for You are the Creator and my God. Save me from pride and self-love: let reason, modesty and chastity adorn me. Idleness is disgusting to You and gives rise to vices, give me the desire to work hard and bless my labors. Since Your Law commands people to live in an honest marriage, then lead me, Holy Father, to this title, sanctified by You, not to please my lust, but to fulfill Your destiny, for You Yourself said: it is not good for man to be alone and, having created He gave him a wife to help him, blessed them to grow, multiply and populate the earth. Hear my humble prayer, sent to You from the depths of a girl’s heart; give me an honest and pious spouse, so that in love with him and in harmony we glorify You, the merciful God: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Rules for reading prayers
Preparing for prayer reading and saying the prayer itself has some features:
- Any prayer is a special, personal conversation with the Savior. Therefore, it is not worth introducing anyone, even close friends and relatives, into the secret of the dialogue.
- Before starting prayer work, it is recommended to visit an Orthodox church and ask for the priest’s blessing for prayer. It is necessary to attend divine services more often, confess and receive communion, and give alms to those in need.
- There should be silence in the room during prayer. It is necessary to stand in front of the icon of the saint to whom the request for intercession to the Lord is addressed, light a lamp or light a church candle, cross yourself three times, thank God for the blessings given and ask the holy saint for help.
- Reading the prayer usually continues for 40 days, but it is advisable to discuss this issue with the clergy in the church. Days of prayer cannot be missed, but if this happens, it is recommended to start counting the days again. In addition to prayers, it is advisable to read an akathist to the saint, but you should also take a blessing for its reading.
Advice! On days of prayer, it is recommended to refrain from drinking alcohol, smoking tobacco and noisy parties.
St. Theophan the Recluse. Comfort to those who have lost a loved one
The published letters of St. Theophan were found in the archives of IRLI (Pushkin House) and published by the director and editor-in-chief of the DAR publishing house Georgy GUPALO
They were addressed to the family of Stepan Onisimovich Burachok, about whom special mention should be made. “The general, a major shipbuilder, treated people with homeopathy (he never took money from the poor) and published the literary magazine Mayak, which took a strong, to some extent fundamentalist position,” says Georgy Mikhailovich. – The magazine scolded Lermontov, proving to readers that Pechorin was not at all a hero of our time and such empty little people should not be promoted as heroes. He vented his anger at Zhukovsky and Pushkin for their “insufficient religiosity.” In a word, Mayak went down in history as a “reactionary-obscurantist” magazine.
The “lighthouse” was extinguished by Burachok himself, after the Synod issued a resolution prohibiting the publication of anything against representatives of other faiths living in Russia. Stepan Onisimovich was offended and closed the magazine in protest. He attended divine services every day, and if, due to his busy work schedule, there was no time to go to church, he devoted two hours to prayer at home, finding in it life-giving force for his labors.
The future saint and Stepan Onisimovich met at a time when Hieromonk Theophan did not even think that he would head the St. Petersburg Theological Academy. He sent his first drafts to the experienced editor Burachk, consulted with him on many issues, and years later became the spiritual mentor of the entire family. And after the death of Stepan Onisimovich, he compiled a short biography of him. The children whom the saint calls cavaliers later became great naval commanders. Evgeniy Stepanovich rose to the rank of rear admiral, became one of the pioneers of the Far East, and therefore many toponymic names in Vladivostok were associated with his name.
Among the letters I found there are three letters in which Saint Theophan consoles the family of Stepan Onisimovich Burachok, who are grieving over his illness and death. Death visits each of us: we bury relatives, close friends and people who have influenced us to one degree or another. Always, even when a person has been sick for a long time and you are waiting for death to come, this is a blow. It is always difficult to bear the hour of parting, the bitterness of losing someone close and dear to the heart. How to help family and friends? What words can you find to soothe their pain?
Often we hear formalities that do not help, and sometimes, on the contrary, prevent us from letting go of the soul we love. Some find it difficult, long and painful to get used to a new life without a loved one. These letters are for them. Read what words Saint Theophan found:
December 27, 1876. Received January 4, 1877.
God's mercy be with you, Evgeniy Stepanovich!
It was with deep sorrow that I received the news of Stepan Onisimovich’s serious illness. God save him and have mercy. I would have lived longer. Either way, not ours, but God’s will be done.
That he is so complacent in illness, one cannot expect anything else. He was always devoted to the hands of God. And whoever is like that does not frown, no matter what he encounters in life. If he has already departed, he will be a prayer book for us. If he’s still here, he’ll pray here. All the will of the Lord be done. No one knows what is best for us as surely as God, who arranges everything. Death is not a special thing - for some it is as if it is a common road. There is no point in bothering her on this occasion. The dying go home to their homeland. And here we remain in a foreign land. So if we grieve and cry, we need to cry for ourselves. Those who die in the Lord enter a better sphere of life. If after death it were possible to ask them: does he want to return to this body to be with us? He will never agree. Because it's better there. They have permission to be with us. And if Stepan Onisimovich has left, then he is probably right here with you, and is surprised that you are grieving so much. Maybe he is saying something to your heart, but you can’t hear it behind the sorrow and troubles. We are accustomed to imagining the dead in the grave as gloomy and damp, how they would feel. And they are not at all in the grave. They are in another place that is not at all gloomy. There you have to imagine them.
When someone dies, what special happens? Only that he enters into a new way of existence. But he exists just as we exist. Consequently, he can be represented as one who has moved from one room to another and locked the door behind him and does not let anyone in. He's right there, you just can't see him. The door is locked.
I’m saying all this in case Stepan Onisimovich has left.
Hello to Elizaveta Vasilievna. May the Lord comfort her. And all the beauties. And Pavel Stepanovich. Happy holiday and happy new year to everyone. God bless you with every blessing. Your pilgrim Bp. Feofan.
January 8, 1877, Thursday.
God's mercy be with you, Pavel Stepanovich!
May God rest the soul of the departed servant of God Stephen! I have made a good journey; the traveler joyfully enters his home. The voyage is over; the unnecessary boat was broken and abandoned - and the swimmer went with the purchased goods to the King of the Great City to receive due honor and profits... with interest. And we are sitting here. What a fable it is. That the Peacock with its feathers magnified itself over another bird without such feathers. And when the need to fly came, that bird flew away, but the Peacock remained in place, only looking at its backside. It seems? Stepan Onisimovich flew to Heaven, and we are sitting here.
Well, what should we do now – cry or something else? I think we should be happy for our Stepan Onisimovich. Glory to You, Lord! He will no longer toil on this boring and miserable Earth. Maybe you need to cry for yourself? Not worth it. Are there many left here? One day or another, we’ll go there ourselves. I have always been of the opinion that we should not wear mourning for the dead, but festive attire - not mournful songs, but serve a grateful prayer service. Everything has been turned upside down for us.
That the remains, the body of the deceased, should be given some respect, this is absolutely fair. But why do we treat this body as a living person? You should be surprised! The Lord is all alive. And Stepan Onisimovich is alive. What a fine fellow he is, how handsome, how clean and bright! If you looked, you would be staring at it... And we, having looked at his bluish body, sunken eyes, etc.... imagine him like that... This self-deception is what tears the heart apart. In order not to tear your heart apart, you need to disperse this deception... Then a damp grave will come to your mind... gloomy... alas! Poor Stepan Onisimovich. And he is in a bright place, in a state of complete joy, free from all ties - how wonderful he feels!
To complete the grief, you think: he died, he’s gone! But he does not even think of ceasing to be and is the same as on the eve of death; only he was worse, but now he is better. That they don't see him is not a loss. He is right there... Having moved away, he moves quickly, like a thought. I think that Stepan Onisimovich is looking over my shoulder as I write, and everything is sure to be kind. Then he will now flutter towards you... and if he sees that you are frowning, he will shake his head. “Here,” he will say, “the wise men!.. don’t see anything, and don’t want to see!”
I am writing all this to console you and especially Elizaveta Vasilievna. We need to rework our ideas, and consolation will be with us. Well, it’s impossible not to cry a little and not be sad. But through the power of imagination /unintelligible/ one must be consoled and completely drive away grief. Mother, Elizaveta Vasilievna! Stepan Onisimovich is with you, just in a different way. Please believe this and stop grieving deeply.
May the Lord comfort you all!.. and gentlemen with families and beauties with rosaries and needles. I ask for prayer. Ep. Feofan.
February 7, 1877
God's mercy be with you, Evgeniy Stepanovich!
So - everything has happened! God sent a good death to our dear Stepan Onisimovich. God bless! Sing thanksgiving prayers! The fact that he has not yet had time to take communion cannot have any influence on the course of his business. There he will most sincerely partake of Christ the Lord, without the mediation of the sacrament. This good hope is the lot of all Christians, especially those who listened, to whose number the deceased belonged.
Christians should not grieve and grieve for departed Christians. It’s impossible not to cry; but let faith and hope sweeten these tears—and turn them not into tears of sorrow, but into tears of consolation in the Lord.
If yours grieve and don’t cry, it’s deadly. It's better to let them cry. Let them irritate themselves and buzz and shed tears, and this will kill themselves. This is because they think that Stepan Onisimovich knows where, but he is in a better place - and often comes home from there. Probably he hugs all his loved ones... only they don’t feel it. I believe it.
I don’t mind writing a catechism, but the time has not come. Yes, the catechism cannot be written otherwise than with questions and short, definite answers. No catechism without explanation can be satisfactory. It is only a memorial record. The people need conversations about faith - lengthy, verbose, so that in various twists and turns they can give at least a little understanding of the mysteries of our faith. So if I ever take it up, I will take it not for the Catechism, but for the teachings, the content of which will be a complete exposition of the faith. Now I'm busy. It is necessary to complete the interpretation of the message of St. Apostle Paul, and to compose the Philokalia - a most important task, and something else. To receive those teachings, one must really renounce everything.
To Elizaveta Vasilyevna, to the beauties and to all, God's blessing. I ask the Old Lady to be good-natured. The head remains now. When your head starts spinning and spinning, what will happen to the others?
Be healthy and good-natured. Bow and blessing to Pavel Stepanovich and his family. Happy post! I want to spend it in a Christian way. Your pilgrim Bp. Feofan.
Saint Theophan (Gorov) the Recluse
Major General 1Stepan Onisimovich Burachek, in moral and religious terms
He was a true Christian and lived according to the full breadth of the requirements of the Holy Faith, without deviating from it in anything and without indulging himself in anything.
Christianity is the reunification of us with God in the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, by the grace of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, being with God not nominally, but in deed – in mind and feeling – is the supreme feature of a Christian’s life. Remembering this, Stepan Onisimovich tried to behave like the Holy Prophet David, who said: “I will foresee the Lord before me, as if he is on my right hand.” He also instilled in others when it came to talking about what is the best way to steadily stand on the path of the commandments and please God through everything, saying: “walk in the presence of God.”
[The Lord Savior came to Earth, became incarnate, taught, worked miracles, suffered, died on the cross, was resurrected, ascended into Heaven, sat down at the right hand of God the Father, from Him sent the Holy Spirit to the Apostles, and with Him through them built the Holy Church on Earth, becoming His Head, and, having protected Her with dogmas, commandments, sacraments, sacred rites and canons, in all this he showed the right path to the Kingdom of Heaven, which He prepared in Heaven for all who believe in Him and love Him.2
Therefore, to be a child of the Church, to maintain everything it contains, and to fulfill all its institutions is the urgent task of a Christian. This is the visible, active side of being in God and walking in His presence. Stepan Onisimovich was fully convinced of this, and he always showed himself to be an obedient son of the Church.
Almost every day one could see him in Church at matins and mass. He hurried to the Church to pour out his soul before God, heeding the commandments of the Royal Prayer Book, which said: “Bless the Lord God in the Churches,” and the assurance of St. Chrysostom that “you can pray at home, but you cannot pray like in the Church.” When he did not have the opportunity to be in church, he prayed at home for a very long time (up to two hours)3
According to this conviction and motivation, during all four fasts he reverently fasted, with his entire family, confessed and partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ: which is still being fulfilled by his family; This is usually the case for other families on Vasilievsky Island - isn’t it following his example4
They observed fasts on Wednesday and Friday, and on other days, according to the charter of the Church. It was unacceptable for church prayers to take place in his house, which took place at certain times. Especially wonderful are the prayers on New Year’s Eve, at midnight. This is a reverent New Year's Eve. All other church prayers, intended for various needs of everyday life, were also performed. Holidays were celebrated in the spirit of the Church; also the birthdays and namesakes of the Saint of all families; commemoration of all deceased relatives and friends. In the house, in every room, in a more visible corner, an icon is seen, or simply /unseen/ with a lamp; Sacred paintings on the walls. So he and his family constantly encountered something ecclesiastical as a reminder of the continuous living union with the Church. This way of acting was based on the conviction of the high importance of the Church and everything ecclesiastical. He used to say: what the atmosphere is for the life of earthly creatures, the Holy Church is for the spiritual life of Christians. The atmosphere contains the subtlest forces and elements necessary for the stimulation, strengthening and fruitfulness of the life of habitual vegetation; and the Holy Church contains grace-filled forces to stimulate, strengthen and improve the spiritual life of Christians. The Lord is the head of the Church. Divine powers, emanating from him, fill (or fulfill) the entire Church and penetrate everything churchly. Those who touch this church in the spirit of faith also accept the power of God penetrating it. That is why he did not shun anything ecclesiastical, no matter how insignificant it was. The Holy Church embraces us like an atmosphere, shining and warming.
Under such heavenly influences both from without and from within, his moral structure also matured, in which the highest Christian virtues shone, indicated by the Savior Himself as heirs of the Kingdom of God in His word on the beatitudes.
He was humble, contrite in spirit, meek, truth-loving, merciful, pure in heart, peace-loving and peaceful, complacently patient and rejoicing in the hope of eternal salvation. His special feature in this regard was his unforgiving power over himself; he was the complete master of his thoughts, feelings and dispositions, and even external circumstances and relationships, insofar as they depended on him, yet he accepted what did not depend on him with submission to the will of God. From all this together he enjoyed inner peace, which never left him, supported by his walk before God.
How deeply and comprehensively he saw Christianity both in himself and in its implementation in individuals and in entire societies and, especially, how it shines in the Holy Church of God - anyone can see this in “Mayak,” the magazine of his publication. This same magazine testifies to how dear the Orthodox Christian truth was to him. Jealousy for this truth forced him to publish this magazine. The purpose of the magazine was to introduce Christian principles into all sciences and introduce them into family, civil and state life, mental, spiritual, artistic, commercial, official, military. In his “Lighthouse” he built a spiritual beacon - an indicator of the pitfalls and shoals in the thoughts and arrangements of private affairs and the whole life of everyone, indicating which direction should be followed by those who wish to safely cross the troubled sea of this life.
In his journal, he exposed the false trends of our literature and erected a strong bulwark against the influx of Western errors among us, indicating their initial origin in the emergence of the Papacy, development in the assimilation under the influence of its pagan principles through the study of the classics, fruitfulness in the revival of the sciences6 or in the reign of the pagans. began in thinking, in life, in the arts and in everything. Hence Lutheranism with its retinue, then philosophy - this is the mouth of all lies that have completely darkened the West.
Those who loved the Christian truth and wanted to know it studied it with the help of “Mayak”, but Stepan Onisimovich also had a special kind of teaching in this regard - meetings of like-minded people in the evenings with him or with another of those.
Here there was an exchange of sincere thoughts and beliefs, questions were resolved and generated, doubts were dispelled, bewilderments were clarified. Everyone thus became rich in truth, without labor or special mental stress.
In this way, Stepan Onisimovich formed many students of every rank and rank, many of whom continue to this day in what they learned from him. Among them there are also statesmen, there are spiritual fathers, abbots of monasteries and even bishops7
One cannot ignore another article from the activities of Stepan Onisimovich, which lasted for many years and cost a lot of work and concern - namely, his treatment of mainly ordinary people using the homeopathic method8. Those healed by him should be counted not in tens and hundreds, but in tens and hundreds of thousands. How many of them were there that allopathic doctors refused to treat!!! For this, people called him Doctor. His soul ached for the people who were suffering and could not find any way to relief. This couple’s pain for the people is a witness to his sincere love for his brothers both by blood and by faith.
Notes from Saint Theophan.
In 1869 he was promoted to lieutenant general and died while in service.
These are the thoughts of Stepan Onisimovich, which anyone can meet more than once in “Mayak” Back.
Once I arrived, little Varenka said: “Daddy prayed for two hours in the morning.” Back.

If you find it convenient, write in a footnote how he weaned himself from snuffing... always keeping the snuffbox in front of his eyes, both at home and in public. Back.
It should be clarified that Stepan Onisimovich loved, knew and promoted exact and natural sciences. In philosophy, he denied and fought against those schools that undermined the ideas of Christianity and the high moral principles of humanity.

Prayers for loneliness for women and men: petitions to the saints
In Orthodoxy, the purpose of a marriage is not so much procreation as the spiritual unity of the spouses, their complementarity and mutual assistance.
Prayers to Orthodox saints for love:
A marriage concluded between believers is always blessed by the Lord. The marriage vow of the spouses is preserved not until death separates them, but until their full unity in the Kingdom of Heaven after the General Resurrection.
With these thoughts it is worth asking God and the saints for help in love.
Prayer to Peter and Fevronia of Murom
O saints of God, blessed Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia, we come running to you and pray to you with strong hope: offer up your holy prayers for us sinners (names) to the Lord God and ask from His goodness all that is useful to our souls and bodies: faith justice, good hope, unfeigned love, unshakable piety, success in good deeds. And petition the Heavenly King for a prosperous life and a good Christian death.
Hey, holy wonderworkers! Do not despise our prayers, but awaken in your dreams to intercede with the Lord, and with your help make us worthy to receive eternal salvation and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven; Let us glorify the ineffable love for mankind of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, in the Trinity we worship God forever and ever. Amen
Prayer for loneliness to a woman for remarriage
It is not always easy for a woman after a divorce or widowhood to find a person with whom she could build a strong relationship. Remarriage is always problematic for many women. To avoid being alone, you need to resort to prayer.
The Holy Matrona of Moscow helps you get married a second time very quickly. During her lifetime, the Blessed Eldress never refused to help women who turned to her with their problems. In order for the prayer to be more effective, it is recommended to offer it at the burial place of Mother Matrona at the Danilovsky cemetery or at the Pokrovsky Monastery in Moscow, where her relics are kept.
Image and meaning of the image of the Mother of God “Consolation and Consolation”
Every feature of the Mother of God’s face in the icon exudes love for all those living in the world and compassion for those in need of help. Her eyes are filled with humility and mercy. The outline of the mouth reflects a gentle smile of consolation. The meek, gentle image is filled with grace and meekness.
The image of the divine child has remained virtually unchanged. The face remained as stern as on the other icons. His hand is raised to the lips of the Mother of God in an attempt to stop the warning about God's punishment for the excessive asceticism of the monks.

The icon itself did not stop at the change in the position of the Mother of God’s face, as well as the movement of the Child’s hand, but continued to move further. The Mother of God took the palm of the Divine Infant with her right hand and moved it away from her lips in a maternal pacifying movement. This shows not only great love, but also true intercession for people.
The entire image includes several mutually exclusive characters:
- the severity of a fair trial;
- the inevitability of punishment for sins;
- rigor in raising followers of the faith;
- God's mercy, which everyone can deserve;
- the kindness of the Lord in allowing sinners to come to repentance.
Prayer for loneliness to the Lord God
“Lord God, Heavenly Father, show your great mercy, give me strength to throw off the burden of loneliness from my soul, free my heart from unclean influences, from dark spells, from any evil that lies in my fate. Through my life I come into contact with the Lord’s Light, I am cleansed by its Fire, it removes all obstacles, it illuminates my life. I feel the hand of the Lord God on my heart, my soul comes into contact with His great power, I find in it the basis for grace-filled changes. Amen. Amen. Amen"
Every person needs a soulmate who will support in difficult times, understand everything and just be there. All people get upset when they still can’t meet her. This is why it is necessary to read a prayer against loneliness, which will help get rid of it, and life will go in a completely different direction.
Oh, All-Good Lord, I know that my great happiness depends on the fact that I love You with all my soul and with all my heart and that I fulfill Your holy will in everything. Since Your law commands people to live in honest marriage, then lead me, Holy Father, to this title sanctified by You, not to please my lust, but to fulfill Your destiny, for You Yourself said: it is not good for a man to be alone and, having created for him a wife as a helper, blessed them to grow, multiply and populate the earth. Hear my humble prayer sent to You from the depths of a girl’s heart; give me an honest and pious spouse, so that in love and harmony with him we glorify You, the Merciful God: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

From laziness and despondency
Prayer to Alexander of Rome against laziness will help those who constantly delight themselves with “doing nothing,” spend all their time in idle activities, and cannot pull themselves together and gather their thoughts. It is worth noting that this appeal is one of the most powerful and effective.
“Lord Jesus Christ, hearken to Thy servant, who suffers for Thy name, and grant Thy grace; let the sick, where they honor my memory, be miraculously healed for the glory of Thy name.
In the earthly vale, we are tormented by many sorrows, cramped by troubles, confused by a storm of temptations and temptations, depressed by various illnesses, we weaken in spirit and fall into despondency and spend the short days of our life in inaction. without having any acquisition behind us, since we have no good deeds with the help of which we could be justified in a future life and receive eternal bliss.
Therefore, we beg you, holy martyr Alexander, help us throw off the burden of negligence and laziness, so that we can cheerfully begin the deeds of hard work and remain firm in striving and doing spiritual things in order to gain salvation for you.
And for the sick, hear our prayer, Saint Alexander, and heal us, suffering from physical and mental ailments, by appearing to help us, because before your death you prayed for those who would honor your memory, so that they would be delivered from all diseases.
So, show concern for us who honor your memory and save us from illness and heal the weak who call on you, so that the name of God may be glorified by all at all times. Amen".

“Living in the help of the highest, in the shelter of the heavenly God, the Lord will say: You are my intercessor and my refuge, my God and I trust in Him. For He will deliver you from the snare of the trap and from the words of the Rebellious, His blanket will overshadow you, And under His wing you trust, His Truth will bypass you as an instrument. Do not be afraid from the fear of the night, from the arrow flying during the day, from the thing that comes in the darkness, from the cloak and the midday demon. Thousands and thousands will fall from your country at your right hand, but they will not come close to you. Behold Your eyes and see the reward of sinners. For You, O Lord, are my hope, You have made the Most High your refuge. No evil will come to you, and no wound will come near your body. As His Angel commanded you, keep you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their arms, and once they dash your foot on a stone, you will step on and cross an asp and a basilisk, a lion and a serpent. Because I have trusted in Me, I will deliver and cover, and because I know My name, I will bring him to Me, and I will hear him, I am with him in sorrow, I will destroy him and glorify him, I will fill him with long days, and I will show him My salvation.”

How to remove the seal of loneliness
Being alone for a long time, more than ever, you want to find a spiritual reunion with your soul mate. Having tried and become disappointed in your search, you continue to search and try again. It didn’t work out once, twice, three times, and then there is no longer any desire to do it further. What if it's a stigma? It’s worth trying to ask Ksenia of St. Petersburg for help.
The miraculous appeal to the holy face is read in these words:
“Having experienced the poverty of Christ, having loved the immortal meals, having exposed the peaceful madness with imaginary madness, bowing to the power of God with humility, Blessed Xenia arose, resurrected, and outlived herself! To you, helper, I turn, To you, intercessor, I ask, To you I came for help! I am sick of loneliness in this world, I dream about family happiness most of all, About a loved one, about human warmth, About a home hearth, about mutual love! Help me meet the right man, With whom I would share both sorrows and joys, And sorrows, and losses, With whom I would feel good together not only in happiness, But we also went through misfortunes together! From the bottom of my pure heart, with sincere intentions, I turn to you, Saint Xenia, I direct my words to you, I offer you gifts. Make my cherished wish come true, my dream come true! Make sure that everything in my life gets better, the loneliness goes away, Happiness and love come to replace it. Amen!"
A terrible story happened to the Saint. At the age of 25, she became a widow. After the death of her husband, she distributed all her property to the poor and needy, gave the house to a friend and, freed from earthly blessings, went into the field to read prayers from night until morning. For her great deeds and patience, God granted her glorification during her lifetime. She received the gift of insight into the future and hearts.
Now, the prayer of Xenia of St. Petersburg is marked as a prayer for a wound in the heart, for marriage, for melancholy and loneliness.
Go to church, pray to your guardian angel, confess your sins to the priest. If you sincerely ask for forgiveness, the Lord will forgive sooner or later, and after some time favorable changes will certainly occur in your world. You go to church, pray, fast, but what if it doesn’t help?
Then you are dealing with human malice, and you have to look for an effective way that can remove the crown of celibacy on your own.
To completely dispel all doubts, conduct a simple examination. Place the silver ring on the ring finger of your left hand and do not take it off for 7 days and seven nights - exactly a week. Then remove the ring, throw it into the water and leave it overnight.
In the morning, having crossed yourself, pour the water into any suitable container and place it on the stove to warm up. If, when the water boiled, foam appeared, then, alas, the question is: “how to remove the celibacy wreath?” is now relevant for you.
In such situations, many women advise seeking help from various healers, witches, psychics, shamans and other witches. Most of them are ordinary charlatans who charge dearly for their useless services. So is it worth paying a decent amount if you can remove the crown of celibacy yourself?
For depression and despair, who should you pray to?
There are many prayers to miracle workers that can help in getting rid of such a difficult condition. First of all, it is necessary to select one or several sacred texts that can have a beneficial effect on the person asking.
It is quite simple to determine what kind of prayer for longing and despondency for a person will help quite simply, that is, when reading any of the prayer services, an Orthodox believer should feel that this particular prayer can help him.
Anyone who is in need and sincerely asks will be given a powerful prayer in desperation. The choice itself is simply necessary, because the reasons and types of appearance of this state can be varied, and therefore you need to find exactly the miracle worker who will hear, understand and fulfill the request of the believer as soon as possible.
And accordingly, prayer texts, as well as reasons, can be different, providing help in a given situation, for example:
- Prayer for despondency will help those who are in emotional imprisonment;
- If a person is separated from his family and people close to him, then prayer for melancholy will help him cope with this;
- But a prayer service for sorrows can save a believer from failures in various matters.

“My Queen, my hope, the Mother of God, protector of the orphaned and strange, patroness of the offended, salvation of the perishing, consolation of all who grieve, you see my misfortune, you see my sorrow and melancholy.
Help me the weak, strengthen me the suffering. You know my grievances and sorrows, resolve them, stretch out your hand over me, for I have no one to rely on, only You are my only protector and intercessor before the Lord, for I have sinned immeasurably and am sinful before You and people.
Be, my Mother, a comforter and helper and save me, drive away sorrow, melancholy and despondency from me. Help, Mother of my Lord."
