How to strengthen faith and overcome doubts. Biblical Declarations
I have been serving people through the ministry of God's Word for almost fifty years. Of the thousands of messages that I have conveyed to people, there is one that stands out as the most consistent, relevant and effective.
Let me state up front that this message is not about any masterful presentation or organizational skills. People love it because it inspires them to live a more victorious life and helps them consciously get rid of worry, anxiety and despondency.
God uses it for transformation because it is based on a collection of scriptures that strengthen faith and eradicate doubt, fear and unbelief.
The title of this message is: Biblical Declarations for Building Strong Faith .
Renew your mind - repeat the truth
God calls us to renew our minds (Rom. 12:2), to meditate on the Scriptures (repeat, “masticate”), and to take “every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. 10:5). “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (Rom. 10:8).
As we enjoy time in His presence daily, we discover that “those who seek the Lord lack no good thing” (Ps. 33:11). When we add to this time the proclamation of the verses upon which our faith is established, our conviction of who we are and what we have in Christ increases. “Faith therefore comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17).
Winners learn to overcome defeatist, negative thoughts by training to resist temptation, accusation, and condemnation, just as Jesus did by boldly declaring, “It is written” (Matthew 4:4). We do not accept Satan's assessment of ourselves and our situations, but we agree with God's vision of our destiny. “Will two people go together without agreeing with each other?” (Amos 3:3).
“If you sow a thought, you will reap an action. If you sow an action, you will reap a habit. If you sow a habit, you will reap a lifestyle. If you sow a way of life, you sow a destiny!”
Example of my message
You are the only being in the universe that can cause failure in your life. Decide to follow God with all your heart, by His grace and with the power of the Holy Spirit. All the demons of hell, all the people of the world and all your obvious weaknesses, shortcomings, imperfections and unfavorable environment cannot prevent you from achieving a glorious victory!
Victory
I am not just an ordinary person, I am a child of the living God. I am not just an individual, I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. I am not just an old sinner, I am a new creation in Christ Jesus my Lord. I am part of the chosen generation, the royal priesthood, the holy people. I am unconditionally loved as a friend of God and accepted into His eternal family.
When I confess my sin, I am forgiven. I have no guilt or condemnation. God is the God of all comfort. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Satan is a liar. I don't listen to his accusations because I am washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against me will prosper; and every tongue that contends with me in judgment I will condemn. I break down every stronghold, cast down all imaginations, and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. God does not love me based on my shortcomings or success, but He loves me forever. He never stopped loving me. God is love, and He loves me with an eternal love.
I am accepted in His Beloved. If God is for me, who can be against me? Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Nothing can separate me from the love of Christ. As the Father loved Jesus, so Jesus loved me. I am no longer a slave to sin, I am freed! I abide in His Word, I know the truth, and the truth sets me free. Because the Son has set me free, I am truly free!
Faith
With You I defeat the army, with my God I climb the wall. I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me. This is impossible for man, but everything is possible for God. All things are possible to those who believe. If I have faith the size of a mustard seed, then I will say to the mountain: “Move from here to there,” and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for me.
I am a believer. I'm not a doubter. I know that without faith it is impossible to please God. I live by my faith, I walk by faith and I see with the eyes of faith. I believe in the Lord with all my heart and do not rely on my understanding. I am not controlled by my feelings, and I am not controlled by my emotions. I don't give in to circumstances; I am above them, and I am seated with Christ in Heaven. I know that the Lord directs the steps of the righteous. The righteous has many sorrows, and the Lord will deliver him from all of them. A righteous man will fall seven times and rise again.
Courage
I don't give room to the devil. I give no place to fear in my life, knowing that fear of people sets a snare. Perfect love casts out fear. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my dangers. God gave me a spirit not of fear, but of strength, love and chastity. The Lord is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life: whom shall I fear? God is my refuge and strength, a quick helper in troubles.
The righteous are as bold as a lion. If I am still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Jesus Christ. But I am a servant of the Most High God, and I am not afraid, because He is with me. I am not embarrassed, for He is my God. He will strengthen me and help me, and uphold me with the right hand of His righteousness.
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. I am a minister of reconciliation. I am an ambassador of Jesus Christ. The anointing breaks every yoke. When the Holy Spirit came upon me, I was empowered to be His witness. His word, which proceeds from His mouth, does not return to Him void, but accomplishes what He pleases, and accomplishes what He sent it for. I honor my God, I am strong, and I will take action. I act in this world as He does.
Health
I will bless my Lord with all my heart because He not only forgives all my sins, He heals all my illnesses. The Lord is my hope; I have chosen the Almighty as my refuge; no evil will befall me, and no plague will come near my dwelling, for He will command His angels about me - to protect me in all my ways. His will is that I prosper and prosper in everything, just as my soul prospers.
Jesus of Nazareth did good and healed everyone who was oppressed by the devil. He said, “I will avert disease from you.” He is the Lord, my Healer. My body is for the Lord, and the Lord is for my body. He took upon Himself my infirmities and bore my illnesses, and by His stripes I was healed.
The Sun of righteousness and healing will rise in His rays. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from death is at work in my mortal body, giving me life. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Is there anything too difficult for the Lord? Everything is possible for the one who believes. I am not just a hearer of the Word, but a doer of the Word. And all this was done to me according to His Word.
Fate
The eyes of the Lord scan the whole earth to support those whose hearts are completely devoted to Him. God rewards those who diligently seek Him. He who calls me is faithful and will do this. I am not conformed to this world. I participate in His Divine nature, and I run in the race to receive the reward. His grace is sufficient for me. His strength is made perfect in my weakness.
I don't consider days to be unimportant. The earth is the Lord's and what fills it, the universe and everything that lives in it. He said that at the last time he would pour out the Holy Spirit. Sons and daughters will prophesy, young men will see visions, and old men will dream prophetic dreams. The end of a thing is better than the beginning.
I press on toward the goal, toward the honor of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus my Lord. I cast my cares on Him. Your eyes have seen my embryo; in Your book are written all the days appointed for me, when not one of them was yet. The righteous blooms like a palm tree and rises like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, they bloom in the courts of our God; Even in old age they are fruitful, juicy and fresh, to proclaim that the Lord is righteous, my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
And here is the essence: To him who is able to keep me from falling and to present me blameless before His glory with joy, to the only wise God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and majesty, power and authority, before all ages, now and to all ages. Amen!

Mentions of faith in written sources
With the development of humanity, changes have occurred in how to pass on knowledge to subsequent generations. The most important innovation was the invention of writing. It is this method that allows us to find even the most ancient references to certain facts.
It is not surprising that there are many quotes about faith in God in Orthodoxy. Such references refer to the pen of famous scientists, writers, thinkers, writers, sovereigns, diplomats and other famous people. Each of them expresses their personal opinion, which is based on life experience.
Surrender to God and He will use you to do great things. But only on the condition that you believe in His love more than in your weakness.
Mother Teresa
“God is not in power, but in truth. Some with weapons, others on horses, but we will call on the Name of the Lord our God!”
Prince Alexander Nevsky
“The Heavenly Lord rules the entire world as the Ruler of the universe. We marvel at Him because of His perfection, we honor Him and bow before Him because of His boundless power. From blind physical necessity, which is always and everywhere the same, no variety could arise; and everything corresponding to place and time, the diversity of created objects, which constitutes the structure and life of the universe, could have happened only through the thought and will of an original Being, Whom I call the Lord God.”
Physicist Isaac Newton
It is worth remembering that none of the blessings of life and our wealth will go with us to the next world. Only good deeds, faith and state of mind can influence the place where our soul resides. After all, everything we do in this world matters only from the point of view of eternity, into which we will all eventually end up.

What is the most important thing in life?
Archpriest Maxim Kozlov
Many are now looking for an example of a careful, scientifically based and at the same time reverent approach to life. A good example is provided by Valentin Stepashkin’s book about St. Seraphim, published in the “Life of Remarkable People” series. The author shows that although there is no reason to doubt the ascetic life of Seraphim of Sarov, many well-known episodes of his life, when tested, turn out to be later layers. This includes falling from a bell tower (in fact, from a building under construction), and praying on a stone (of course, St. Seraphim actually prayed, but it’s unlikely for exactly a thousand days and a thousand nights), and feeding a bear from his hand (apparently, the saint threw food for the beast from behind the fence), and a conversation with Motovilov (in general it raises big questions, but the main idea “Acquire a peaceful spirit, and thousands around you will be saved” really belongs to the monk).
With a critical and sober attitude towards life, the author maintains reverence for the hero of the book. The fact that he separates secondary and unimportant subjects only emphasizes the holiness of St. Seraphim. After all, he remains a saint even without feeding the bear!
Even if he fed the crocodile, it would not add anything - in the circus they don’t feed anyone. But the main thing - the faith of Seraphim of Sarov, his feat of prayer, his attitude towards people - does not go away.
Of course, the story about the bear is convenient to tell to children: it is very colorful. I think that a sober parent will be able, over time, to move from such semi-fairy-tale stories that delight the child to something that is closer to the real image of the saint. But I would not approach this categorically: they say, if there was no bear, then we will not read the books where the Monk Seraphim is depicted next to him.
