Many miracles happened in the first centuries of Christianity! Also in the times of such great saints as St. Sergius of Radonezh, St. Seraphim of Sarov, right. John of Kronstadt, Blessed. Matrona of Moscow - miracles flowed abundantly through their prayers to all the people who came!
And this wonderful source of Heavenly help has not dried up in our time! The 21st century is famous not only for the numerous miracles flowing from Blessed Matronushka, but also famous for the miraculous help of the great saints - Spyridon of Trimifuntsky and Nicholas the Wonderworker!
A visitor to our site, Valeria, sent wonderful stories where she shared the help of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the intercession of the holy blessed Matronushka, which we attach below for inspiring reading:
“ Hello, dear residents of the site! I want to tell you some wonderful stories about the help of Matronushka and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
There is a lot of text, but I really want to share!
Since childhood, I really believe in God and always trust in him, but I practically didn’t go to church (although my cousin is a priest). But at some certain moment I began to be drawn to the temple like a magnet, I just came there, wandered from icon to icon, looked at them, mentally talked to each saint, lit candles, made orders for health and peace. And when I left, there was such peace and tranquility in my soul! And it was then that I fully appreciated the power of Faith and Prayer.
Just around this time, my small business collapsed, I had to close my office and I began to look for a new job and read an akathist to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker for 40 days. I finished reading the akathist, another month passed, and a decent place to work still did not appear, but at the same time my soul was calm and I was absolutely sure that my dream job would soon find me, there was no despondency. I attended a lot of interviews, but most of the companies were just one-day jobs where I didn’t want to get a job.
And somehow I’m standing at home in front of the icon of St. Nicholas the Pleasant and say with a smile: “Father Nicholas, what are you doing, I read you an akathist and ask for help every day, but you don’t notice me?” Having said this, I go to the site with advertisements and the first thing I see is a suitable vacancy, but the salary is not enough! But I decided to go for the interview anyway. I arrive and realize that there is a temple right next to this task, where I sometimes went to light candles and pray, including about finding a job! And I also noticed the building itself, I was passing by and thought, “How beautiful and unusual!” and even took a photo of him! I successfully passed the interview, and the next day I was invited to an internship. And after that I was officially hired and I still work in this place, only after 8 months of work I was promoted from manager to executive director, which I did not expect at all and my salary doubled! Also, with my arrival, all the unscrupulous, dishonest and slippery people who had previously worked here for several years left the team. I believe that it is Father Nikolai who protects me and helps me in my service. I love him very much and am very grateful to him for everything!
Now about Matronushka.
In our city there is a temple with a piece of the relics of Matrona. One day we were walking with friends, passed by this temple and decided to stop by. One of my friends couldn’t get pregnant for about a year, although she really wanted it and was beginning to despair. We walked in, a friend immediately approached Matronushka, talked to her, and kissed the icon. And less than two weeks later they conceived a baby! Now he is already two months old, a wonderful, healthy baby
