The ritual must be performed secretly from prying eyes - otherwise the ritual will not have force, which is also true for wearing - try to hide it from the eyes of strangers. The ideal time for prayer would be late evening (from 22:00) or dawn. As a rule, a plea can have an arbitrary sound; the essence is to reflect a request for help and support in a textual and semantic load.
For example, you can use the following text:
“I pray you, O great Lord, protect your servant from all the bad libations of this world, I pray you strengthen my spirit, and give me strength to withstand any difficulties. Please show me your mercy and lead me along the path of life.
