First prayer
Oh, all-holy Nicholas, most excellent servant of the Lord, our warm intercessor and quick helper everywhere in troubles! Help me, a sinner and a sad person, in this present life, beg the Lord God to grant me forgiveness of all my sins, most of which I have sinned from my youth, in all my life, in deed, word, thought and everything. with my feelings; and at the exodus of my soul, help me, the accursed one, beg the Lord God of all creation, Creator, to deliver me from airy ordeals and eternal torment: may I always glorify the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and yours - merciful intercession, now and ever, and unto ages of ages . Amen.
Second prayer
Oh, all-merciful Father Nicholas, shepherd and teacher of all who flow with faith to your intercession and call upon you with warm prayer! Strive quickly and deliver Christ’s flock from the wolves that are destroying it; and protect every Christian country and save it with your holy prayers from worldly rebellion, cowardice, invasion of foreigners and internecine warfare, from famine, flood, fire, sword and sudden death. And just as you had mercy on three men imprisoned, and you delivered them from the king’s wrath and the beating of the sword, have mercy on me too, in mind, word and deed in the darkness of my sins, and deliver me from the wrath of God and eternal punishment. For through your intercession and help, and through His mercy and grace, Christ God will give me a quiet and sinless life to live in this world, and will deliver me from this foolish state, and will make my right hand with all saints forever and ever. Amen.
From the life of Nikolai Ugodnik (brief information)
Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker lived in the 3rd century and from a young age was distinguished by an insatiable desire to serve the Lord. As a clergyman, he became a shining example for his parishioners, showing the residents of Lycia the true path to salvation. After several years of service in the church, he was appointed Bishop of Myra in Lycia.
An interesting fact from the biography of St. Nicholas is his miraculous birth. The future miracle worker was born in the city of Patara into a Christian family that for a long time could not have children. Theophanes and Nonna (that was the name of his parents) earnestly prayed to God for a child, vowing to devote the newborn to the service of the Lord, and their prayer was miraculously heard.
At the dawn of his youth, Nikolai showed numerous talents: he observed fasting, studied the Holy Scriptures with great diligence, and amazed those around him with his deep wisdom. During his lifetime, he performed many miracles and healings, which made him famous among believers. Having destroyed paganism, the priest brought peace and goodness to the people, showing Christians the true path of salvation through repentance and love for one's neighbor.
The asceticism of Nicholas the Wonderworker was carried out during times of persecution of Christians, and the bishop was imprisoned. However, he not only bravely endured torture and hardship, but also supported the rest of those imprisoned with the power of his faith.

Galerius (successor of the Roman Emperor Diocletian) abolished the persecution of Christians. Coming out of prison, Saint Nicholas again occupied the See of Myra. By the grace of God, he lived to a ripe old age and died peacefully on December 6, 342. Now His relics, exuding fragrant and miraculous myrrh, are kept in the Italian city of Bari.
With his prayers, the saint could pacify the elements, save entire cities from hunger and drought, reconcile enemies, and heal the seriously ill. He was not just the bishop of Myra in Lycia, but a great ascetic who loved people and supported them in every possible way.
