But they were still sick when they believed that Christ could perform a miracle of healing, and they obediently went to the priest. On the way, they suddenly felt that they had recovered. The leprosy left the bodies, they were terribly happy. But only one thought of returning to Christ to give thanks for the healing. The rest continued on their way.

Christ, seeing that only one returned and gave thanks, and he was a Samaritan (whom the Jews despised), asked: “Where are the other nine, why didn’t they return with thanks?” By this the Lord makes it clear that we need to thank Him. Moreover, give thanks for everything, not only for good events, but also for illnesses, sorrows, failures. This contains great spiritual meaning, the basis of salvation. Those who cannot yet understand how one can give thanks for troubles should accept this as truth.

Anyone who has at least once thanked God and the saints knows how important this is, what fruit it brings to the soul. There is a parable about how one saint humbly gave thanks for failures, and then luck touched him. He found benefit in everything; this is called a good intention. Therefore, his soul was always in a peaceful dispensation.

If you think about it, we have been encountering God's grace since birth without even realizing it. And how many times does He save the laity from death, dangerous situations, and unrighteous acts. We must thank God for what has been revealed and what has not been revealed, as the Church teaches.

Revolution

Matrona also foresaw the Great October Revolution. According to her predictions, the lands were going to be plundered, allotments were taken away from the owners. Each robber tried to tear off a larger piece. Matrona gave advice to the rural landowner: sell all his property and go abroad. But he did not listen and subsequently witnessed the plunder of his own farm. The Matrona brothers joined the Communist Party, which, as you know, had a negative attitude towards the church. Matrona decided to leave her father’s house so as not to compromise her brothers and not be arrested. So she moved to Moscow.

The life story of the blessed one

An amazing girl was born in a small village in the Tula province, which was located not far from the famous Kulikovo Field. The girl's family was very poor; her parents were simple peasants. And although they lived honestly all their lives and worked hard, they were always poor. There were four children in the saint's family, little Matrona was the youngest.

The girl's life did not work out from the very beginning - the girl was born blind. Before the birth of the girl, the saint’s mother had a prophetic dream with a bird. It was only thanks to this dream that the girl was not sent to an orphanage. From childhood, the girl loved worship. When her parents were not at home, the girl always played with icons. The little girl's gift was revealed at the age of seven. At this age, Matronushka could predict a person’s future, as well as treat sick people.

The girl could amaze anyone with her insight. One day a visitor came to her, and Matronushka was able to see her in a secret sin. The woman sold stale and unclean milk to orphans and the poor. Matronushka also predicted that there was no need to build a bell tower, because the revolution would interfere with them. This is exactly what happened. And when people neglected the advice of the Blessed One, bitter events made them regret what they had done.

She also helped to find peace of mind, heal illness, recognize the offender and forgive him without committing sins in return. This brave girl changed the worldview of many men and women. The saint's faith gave her extraordinary strength, which she shared with those in need.

And before her death, mother said: “Come to me, talk to me about your troubles and sorrows, as if from a living person. I will hear and see you. I will help you."

Hello dear readers of this site. Mother Matronushka and Ksenia the Blessed helped me. My husband and I have 3 children, we lived in abundance, my concern was raising children and doing housework. She worked as a cleaner, the salary was meager. And then, suddenly, with my last money I wanted to go to Matronushka, or to Ksenia. I live in another country. But I went to Blessed Xenia, because of the money it worked out. I simply believed and did not even allow the thought that my husband and I would separate, I believed and prayed. He didn’t even want to hear about reconciliation, he just hated me for destroying the family. But somehow, 3 months later, another scandal, where he said that if I want to save my family, then why am I not doing anything for it.

Hello, it seems that there are no words to express my gratitude to Mother Matrona for everything that she does for me and my loved ones. Nevertheless, I want to write about a small part of Matronushka’s help to me: My husband and I had to go on an important work trip abroad. Tickets were purchased for us in advance.

And then, about a week before the trip, I decided to check my passports and discovered that they were nowhere to be found. I didn’t panic, because I was sure that they would find me. But they weren't there! So almost a week of fruitless searches passed, I searched the entire apartment, my relatives’ apartment, we even went out of town, hoping that we would find foreign passports, but no, in vain. There were no passports, which meant we weren't going anywhere, which was very, very bad for the work we were doing.

I almost lost all hope and the evening before the flight I came home and once again searched everything without a trace. And I decided that I needed to pray to Matronushka and ask for her help. After praying, I left the room and was about to leave, when my gaze fell on my daughter’s backpack and I suddenly, quite unexpectedly, remembered how long ago, about a month ago, returning from a trip, I hurriedly put the passports in her backpack so that upon arrival home I would immediately take them .

And I completely forgot about it. Well, just completely. And my daughter walked with them all this time) and then suddenly, quite suddenly, after so many days of searching, she remembered. Of course, it was Matronushka who helped me then! It was absolutely amazing! Thank you Mother!

Recently I found myself in an unpleasant financial situation at work, there was a possibility that I would have to pay with my own funds, since the people with whom I started working let me down. I asked Matronushka to help me and you know, everything was decided, I had enough money, which was allocated to me, and I hope the result of the work will be successful.

Mother also helped me a lot with my health problems, my back hurt, and now I almost don’t even remember that I have these problems. My mother even helped me solve not so important cosmetic problems; I found a doctor, a very good dentist, who saved my very darkened tooth.

I want to tell you how I met Matronushka. A month ago, I had no idea how firmly she would become part of my life. It started with the fact that in the summer I had a fight with a young man whom I love very much. He stopped communicating with me. Instead of going to God for help. Hello, all readers and creators of this wonderful site! Again I write about helping our beloved Matronushka. Recently my throat started to hurt, I felt like I was getting sick (and I usually get sick for a long time...). I turned to Matronushka: help me, please, I don’t want to get sick.

And she anointed the submandibular lymph nodes with the oil (for me, everything usually starts with them). In the morning I got up healthy, although I, a sinner, did not fully believe that I would not get sick. And yesterday, before going to bed, I felt that my bladder was starting to hurt (lately I have had cystitis quite often, I’m very tired of going to the doctors for tests and treatment).

She prayed to Matronushka and also decided to anoint the sore spot with oil. At least there was no acute pain today. I believe that Matronushka will help me figure it out once and for all and get rid of this sore. Matronushka also helped my dad with his work. He worked as a school teacher in one place all his life, but recently had to quit.

We looked for different jobs for him (he didn’t want to go to school, he needed rest), but somehow nothing really was found. He already agreed to go to work at a car wash. I casually asked Matronushka to help. Almost on the same day, we came across a program on TV about finding a job.

They recommended a website that collected vacancies from employment centers across the country. Out of curiosity, I looked at this site (before that, I either had not come across this site, or I had not opened it - there are a lot of job search sites). And among the new vacancies, I saw one that was very suitable for my dad: a teacher in a small rural school (this is not a noisy city school), and we visited this village just in the summer. What a coincidence!

And they promise a salary that is significantly higher than what we get for teachers in our city. True, it is located in a different region, but it’s worth it (and the nature there is good, and the climate is better than ours). I hope that everything will work out with God's help. And Matronushka always helped to improve relations with my boyfriend after a quarrel.

Hello! My name is Natalya, I’m 30 years old, I’m from the city of Artyom, Primorsky Krai. I have been praying to Holy Blessed Mother Matrona for several years now. I feel her support and know that she is praying for me and my family. I had poor vision - 4.5 (myopia and astigmatism).

I have suffered from poor vision since school. My work involves a computer. And this made my eyes hard. This is not the first time I myself want to tell you about the help of our beloved mother Matrona. I asked for work for my brother and son-in-law - now I never tire of thanking Her, the expectations were not long in coming.

I want to say a little about something else. According to some previous authors - everything has its time! Learn to wait patiently. Don’t grumble that they probably didn’t hear us, but pray and wait calmly. Heaven hears and sees everything, all of us - with our joys and sorrows. And they know who and when to send and help.

My situation is this: at the age of 39 I became a widow. 8 years passed, and then one lady introduced me to a man. We met, got together, everything was so wonderful that I even cried and thought: “Do I really deserve such happiness.” Three months later, the first bells appeared, to which I did not attach any importance.

Further more. The result turned out to be an ordinary swindler. he settled down with some woman like me, and he himself rented out his apartment and put all the money into his own account, naturally. No care, no basic attention towards me, nothing! “We’ve been living in different rooms for two years now, like just acquaintances. His motto: “Arrogance is the second happiness!”

And I always talk to Mother Matrona as if she were my own grandmother, I tell her everything. And I believe that she will definitely help me get out of this situation with dignity and get rid of this swindler (not everything is so simple, it will take a long time to tell the details).

Every day I thank the Lord Jesus Christ and all the saints for the test and lesson sent to me - sins are like leaves on a tree. “I think this is what you need, heal your soul, and don’t repeat your life mistakes in the future. Serves you right!” And in the spring of this year (it was evening, I was alone at home), I talked with Mother Matrona, asked her for advice, what should I do now, I think, maybe in a dream something will tell me?

And I sat down on the sofa in front of the TV, thinking, and suddenly I clearly heard: “Be patient.” Thank you Mother Matrona! I got it. Time passes, month after month. And so in September I go to the church shop (to buy candles) and see - Mother Matrona’s amulet with a piece of Her relics! I bought it right away, I’m happy!

I came home, put it on, and a slight burning sensation and warmth appeared in the solar plexus area. Why am I telling you all this, because Mother Matrona and our Saints hear us all and help everyone. We should not worry, we should kill ourselves, but thank THEM through prayer that we have THEM and in due time will manage everything in the best way. Mother Matrona, I love you very much. I have known about Mother Matronushka for more than 10 years, so I have turned to her for help more than once. My grandmother reveres her very much; in her words, “you don’t have time to ask her, and at that very moment she helps”; My mother often asks her for help. By the way, she once saved my mother’s life.

Once they were driving a car with a driver and a woman, because of whom, in fact, the accident was supposed to happen (they did not share a man with another woman). It all became clear later, but at first there were no signs of trouble. But my grandmother, apparently, sensed danger in her mother’s heart, and began to intensively pray to God and Matronushka - we had just read her book the day before.

The details of this story will take up a lot of space, but in short, the woman who was sitting in front was able to taxi and dodge a truck that drove into the oncoming lane. By the way, she was a passenger in this car, not the driver. Just at that time I was going through a very difficult period in my life.

We then moved as a family to another country, my parents were left without work and, as a result, without money, there were health problems, there were no friends, I then barely finished 10th grade due to constant nervous strain, you can’t describe everything. And so I went to bed, almost choking from tears. I don’t remember well, but it seems that I was telling Matronushka in my thoughts about my troubles, and before I had time to fall asleep, I heard the words in a quiet, gentle voice: “It will be, it will be, you will have everything.”

I noticed that in the dreams that readers shared with us, mother often repeats the same word - “it will be, it will be” or something else. In fact, I didn’t plan to write here, but I read the stories and somehow wanted to confirm her immediate help with a story. Several years have passed since that dream, although it is difficult to call the words that I practically heard in reality a dream.

And indeed, almost everything that was painful then somehow got better over time: we returned to Ukraine, albeit to a different city, my parents got jobs, I went to college. But for paid training. It so happened that I did not have time to submit documents for the budget, and, thanks to my mother, she sponsored my education. But I finished my fifth year with a scholarship.

Thanks to Matronushka. I really asked her, seeing how hard it was for parents, to switch to free. But a free place in the faculty appears when someone vacates it. And in the fifth year, no one planned to leave anywhere. Even the head girl told me, Anya, you won’t get a budget place, one girl from our group is one hundredth of a point ahead of you. But, to be honest, I was somehow sure that I could transfer.

And indeed, thanks to the help of Matronushka, one place became available. And for me it was a miracle, many thanks to her. And from my mother too)) There were many more situations when she helped. Like many girls, she helped me get over my breakup with my boyfriend. Here it should be noted that I am very emotional, if I have offended someone with something or a serious stressful situation just happened, I usually don’t eat, I hardly sleep, and I eat myself with thoughts and tears.

Then time passes, and I recover, but at first... It so happened that due to the situation in our country, I lost my favorite job - at that time I was a civil servant. I didn’t get this job for nothing, I prayed for a long time, took exams, and didn’t get there right away. And the harder it was for me to realize that I would have to pay.

Nowadays it’s very difficult to find work everywhere, and even more so here - I live near Lugansk. All my active search attempts for a year now have brought practically no results, and I really need the money, because my husband is also a state employee and we rent a house. And then it so happened that I’m going to Moscow in October of this year.

This thought came to me unexpectedly, and my husband let me go, Thank God, so on the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos I stood in line to see Matronushka. I can’t even express my happiness to you in words - I couldn’t imagine that someday I would be able to visit Matronushka.

This is the best gift I've had in years. True, I only stood there for about 3 hours; I was so confused at the relics themselves that I kissed myself mechanically and completely forgot about the request. After all, all the time I also asked for people close to me who also have problems in life.

And one more sad circumstance - I really wanted to work in the temple, but, unfortunately, no one offered to do it while they were standing. Now I am flattering myself with a hope, even a dream, to go there in the spring and work full-time, to visit the cemetery... My request remains unanswered for now. Almost a month has passed since my visit to Moscow, 2 weeks ago I finished reading the 40-day akathist to Mother Matronushka.

Of course, I understand that my mother has countless things to do, everyone needs help, and many people need help immediately... And I understand all this, and I don’t insist with tears every day. But my hopes are fading, maybe I don’t deserve a job, I don’t even know what to think. Matronushka helps everyone, and this has been proven more than once, so it’s not her fault that what I ask for doesn’t come to me...

But sometimes sadness overwhelms me, so sadness is my best friend now. I would like to write a lot more about the trip and for the cases of help, but the letter is very long, please excuse the details. Hello, readers of this site! Today Matronushka helped me a lot in my work. For two weeks I completed an internship at a new responsible job. All the days were so tense that there was not even time to drink tea, let alone lunch. Today was my first independent work shift.

This is not the first time I have written here my story about the help of Mother Matronushka. And again Matronushka performed a miracle and helped me get pregnant. My husband and I were planning a pregnancy for almost 2 years, during this period I tried to visit Matronushka more often, constantly asked her for help in conceiving a child, and in October, I went to see her again as usual.

It was Monday and I hoped that there wouldn’t be many people, but when I arrived I saw that the line to the relics was very long. I stood at the end of the line, and literally 10 minutes later a nun came up to us and offered to help clean the toilets. And before the trip, I had a dream that I arrived at Matronushka’s monastery, went in, and there were brown tiles all around and a lot of some papers near the icons.

And then I realized that this was a sign from Matronushka and agreed without hesitation. In the toilets, everything is laid out with exactly the same tiles that I dreamed about in my dream. After the work, the nun took us to the relics and again I asked Matronushka for a second child. And after 2 weeks I found out that I was pregnant. Thank you, dear Matronushka, for your prayers and your help to all those in need. Pray, pray sincerely, and Matronushka will definitely help you.

My dear, Holy Matronushka. Thank you for the help you provide to us sinners in intercession before our God Jesus Christ. I met Mother Matronushka only this year. But I already felt that my family and I had a strong patron. Holy Matronushka came into my life during a difficult period. My little granddaughter, 1.5 years old, fell ill with a very serious kidney disease (a transplant was even planned), and my son fell ill overnight (there is still no diagnosis). First of all, I want to thank Mother Matrona for helping us all and praying for us! Thank you dear Matronushka. I don’t know how to write a lot, and there’s no point in writing. I’ll just say that on October 15, 2015, my son was born, I asked him from the Lord God and from Matronushka, through her prayers I became pregnant and gave birth.

It was my second birth, so it was quick and almost painless. All was good. But on the third day they told me that my son had an intrauterine infection and was losing weight; by that time he had lost almost 500 grams. I was in shock, during pregnancy I took all the tests and all were good, it was not clear where the infection could have come from. My son was sent to the neonatal intensive care unit and put on round-the-clock IV drips. Words cannot describe my state at that moment.

Twice a day (only so much was allowed) I went and watched him, the baby lay in the incubator and prayed to Matronushka, read her a prayer and baptized him with my cross bought at the Intercession Monastery. I asked that everything get better for him, that he gain weight, and that we be discharged home together (they wanted to transfer him to a children’s hospital, but with the help of Matronushka, I managed to persuade the manager not to send him there).

I wrote about requests for help on this site and promised that as soon as we turn a month old, I will definitely write about Matronushka’s help. Then I started having problems, a cleaning was prescribed, but thanks to Matrona, who sent me a very good doctor, everything worked out.

After five days they took my son off the IV and began to carry him for feedings, I was incredibly happy. And then we were discharged home together. He still spits up a little, but thank God he is gaining weight. I hope the regurgitation will soon pass with mother’s help and intercession. Thank you dear Mother Matronushka for helping me and my child, who has not yet been baptized, as soon as possible we will definitely baptize him.

Childhood

There is a legend that during the sacrament of baptism, Matronushka, like other children, was bathed in a bath with holy water. And everyone present witnessed how a haze rose above the baby. This was another indication of God’s chosenness of the baby. The priest Father Vasily was impressed by the miracle and ordered his mother, if Matrona needed anything, to definitely contact him. Later Matronushka will predict the death of Father Vasily.

A cross-shaped mark was noticed on the baby's body in the center of the chest. As an infant, Matrona did not eat her mother’s milk on Wednesdays and Fridays, as if she was fasting. She had no eyes at all, this completely coincided with Natalia Nikonova’s prophetic dream. The eye sockets were covered from above by tightly fused eyelids. But even being completely blind, she secretly climbed into a holy corner in the house and sorted through the sacred images.

Other children offended Matronushka, burned her skin with nettles, and lured her into a pit. They were wondering how she would be able to get out, and anyway the girl doesn’t see who is making such evil jokes at her expense. She made no friends as a child and began to spend most of her time under the protection of her home walls.
