For quite a long time there were no churches at all in Reutov. Therefore, the Orthodox community held services in ordinary apartments. The Kazan Church became the first official place for Reutov's parishioners. It took almost three years to build the temple. Interior of Trinity Church
Important! While we honor the relics of the Holy Saints of God, we do not worship them. We worship God, and the relics are like vessels of the Holy Spirit, who works through them to this day.
General information
The building of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in Reutov is made in a style typical of temple architecture of the 18th–19th centuries. The religious building looks like a small single-domed church with arched vaults. The gilded dome rests on a massive drum with narrow windows.
The interiors of the temple are impressive, while remaining Christianly modest. The walls are whitewashed, the windows are framed with decorative wooden frames, and there are stained glass windows with interesting ornaments. In addition, the temple has a beautiful carved iconostasis and many rare church relics that are of great value to Orthodox Christians.
