The history of the icon of the Mother of God “The Tsaritsa”: prayer, what they pray for and where it is located

Miraculous healing icons and prayers save lives and help overcome illnesses. And there is a lot of evidence of the manifestation of healing divine power that descends from heaven to relieve the suffering of those who pray.

They often come to church in moments of complete despair, when doctors do not give good prognoses for future healing. But you need to pray every day, and the Lord will not allow a believer to experience suffering if his faith is sincere.

Only healing icons and healing prayers turn into helpers only when the person praying changes his worldview and desires to atone for his sins . Do not allow negative emotions, envy, evil into your soul - protect yourself from the influence of unclean forces.

Treatment with prayers and icons

An icon is a conductor, a connecting link between the human world and the Divine world. And the older the image, the energetically stronger it is. His mighty wave of holiness and faith radiates light.

The holy image helps to achieve joy, harmony, balance. And, most importantly, the holy faces grant long-awaited salvation from diseases that prevent one from living normally.

To heal the suffering, the priest takes an icon of the saint in his left hand. With his right hand he touches the patient. Next, the servant of the Lord pronounces prayer words. During the sacred action, there should be no one around - even those closest to you must leave the room. Only healing images on the table and faith are needed in this magical moment.

Images of other saints

Of course, we have other miraculous faces. A lot of them. But the strongest are considered...

Seraphim of Sarov

One of the most popular saints in Russia.

Seraphim was born in Kursk, came to the church in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, and all his life he served the Lord in the Saratov desert.

They pray to him for:

  • peace of mind, finding the true path;
  • about health (including healing from really serious illnesses);
  • girls ask for marriage;
  • some entrepreneurs ask for good luck in their business (however, the icon will only help if you promise to give part of your earnings to charity - and, of course, fulfill this promise).

St. George the Victorious

This saint is considered the patron saint of Moscow.

During his lifetime, Georgy was a warrior, so soldiers and other law enforcement officials (and, of course, their mothers and wives) most often turn to him. Athletes are also asking for help. Finally, businessmen turn to Georgy.

Nikolai Ugodnik the Wonderworker

And this saint is the most popular in Ukraine. The kids here believe that St. Nicholas on his winter holiday goes to the homes of obedient children and puts sweets and even toys under their pillows.

The saint is asked to:

  • salvation from poverty and poverty (since during his life the saint helped everyone in trouble);
  • Sailors and pilots, drivers, as well as travelers consider him their patron (the small icon is worth taking with you both on a business trip and on vacation).

But, of course, all the icons that you see here are simply copies of the original miraculous faces. Is it worth praying to them, buying small icons in church? Or is it better to go on a pilgrimage to the original icons, and all other prayers will not help? Father answers:

Healing prayers for all diseases

Can healing prayers empower a believer to fight and overcome illness? Absolutely yes. The answer is clear.

A petition to the Lord or Saint changes a person’s worldview and fills the heart with warmth. And when love reigns in the soul, no troubles are scary - and evil recedes, it has no right to change anything.

When you put your soul into a prayer text, your appeal flies to heaven and does not encounter obstacles on its way.

How “The Tsaritsa” ended up in Moscow

List of the icon “The Tsaritsa”.
The rector of the Vatopedi Monastery on Mount Athos, Archimandrite Ephraim (left) with the brethren. Photo from pantanassa website. In 1991, at the Moscow Children's Oncology Center on Kashirskoye Shosse, a little patient noticed that light was shining from the “Vsetsaritsa” icon (a small paper image). She told doctors and parents about this.

The adults nodded their heads in disbelief until the glow was noticed by other children in the ward.

And soon some of the adults will too. The girl’s incurable illness began to respond to treatment. Parents and doctors were all shocked.

A little later, on the initiative of the Community of Mercy in honor of St. John of Kronstadt at the Moscow Children's Oncology Center, the first copy of the “Vse Tsarina” icon was made. With the blessing of the rector of the Vatopedi monastery, Archimandrite Ephraim, the image was painted by a Russian icon painter, who was one of the brethren of Vatopedi.

Prayers for sick children and their parents began to be served in front of the icon.

It was at the Oncology Center that miraculous help was provided to many suffering people.

Soon it was decided to transfer the miraculous image to the Church of All Saints in Krasnoye Selo (now Alekseevsky Monastery). But the image of the “All-Tsarina” is regularly brought back to the Oncology Center for prayer services.

Miraculous healing icons

Even modern medicine, which has achieved great scientific results, retreats before the miracles that healing icons of saints perform.

Recovery comes quickly and easily when the patient prays and does it sincerely. This increases faith in victory over the disease, develops moral strength, and prevents you from doubting your resilience.

Not only church walls are capable of miracles - miraculous images can be placed at home or near the hospital bed where the sufferer is.

When it is not possible to say prayer words out loud, do it in your thoughts - this will not diminish the power of the appeal.

Iveron Icon of the Mother of God

The Iveron icon repeatedly showed miracles that led many non-believers to spiritual life. Among her main gifts, especially:

  • relief from fatal diseases
  • support in times of hunger
  • rescue during enemy attacks

Icon of the Mother of God “Healer”

This is the oldest image of the Virgin Mary, which is famous for its unique healing effect. The Holy Face of Our Lady provides assistance not only with physical suffering. It also drives away mental pain and internal experiences.

Those who carry a terrible grudge or cannot return to normal life after the loss of a loved one turn to the “Healer” and are sure to get what they want.

The sacred face of the Mother of God gives a chance for recovery even to those whom doctors have given a terrible incurable diagnosis. It’s as if she extends her hand and helps you get back on your feet and continue the fight.

The relic depicts the Holy Virgin standing at the bed of an infirm patient. She raised her hand over him and turned her gaze to the image of her Son - Jesus Christ. Her eyes, full of requests, are open before the icons. She sincerely prays to the Lord for such a necessary salvation.

Ostrobramskaya Icon of the Mother of God

The sharp-framed icon of the Mother of God is very rare, but this does not diminish the power of the holy face.

Orthodox priests claim that placed near the front door, it will forever drive away all evil spirits from the house and from all its inhabitants.

This is a very powerful image of the Virgin Mary, which, in addition to protecting against external negativity, also helps solve family problems and restore trusting marital and intra-family relationships.

I recommend:

  • Conspiracies for all diseases

Kazan Icon of the Mother of God

The image of the Holy Virgin, which is universal - prayers are offered to it in various difficulties. The Mother of God is able to disperse sadness and lend a helping hand.

Believers ask her for spiritual problems, illnesses, and financial failures. It is also known that more than once the “Kazan Icon” filled the heart of a supplicant with love.

It is believed that the day of veneration of this image is favorable for the wedding of newlyweds. Their life path together will bring only joyful moments, and everyday quarrels will not disturb their happiness. Spiritual guides recommend choosing this particular period for the sacred sacrament.

The Kazan image also saves from rash actions - first of all, this concerns divorces. A way out can always be found, but young families often decide that it is much easier to separate than to try to understand the situation and compromise.

It is advisable to get up in front of the face every morning and ask for the necessary things:

  • Be sure to wash your face and hands after a night's rest
  • try to drive away unnecessary and distracting thoughts
  • cross yourself and begin the prayer service
  • your soul should be open, and your desire should come from the depths of your heart

Icon "Unbreakable Wall"

The name of the icon speaks for itself - it is called indestructible for a reason. While within the walls of the Kyiv Monastery, the image was repeatedly subjected to various tests. He survived multiple fires - the fire did not damage the holy face. The icon had to face enemy attacks, but it survived.

Not a single bad weather could destroy the relic, and now it saves people from adversity. This is excellent protection against everyday misfortunes.

The Orthodox icon “The Unbreakable Wall” forms an energy barrier around a house or apartment, invisible to the human eye, but protecting when envious people and unwanted visitors try to enter the family abode.

Iverskaya

The icon received its name from the monastery in which it is located. It stands on the sacred Mount Athos. People call her the Gatekeeper.

Basically, it helps in getting rid of diseases and protecting the home from unwanted guests. The monks said that she warns of negative events that will happen in the world soon.

Iveron Icon

Where is it stored?

First mentioned in the 9th century. During that period, images of saints were mocked and were subject to destruction. According to legend, the image was saved by a widow, but they found out about it. The soldiers burst into the woman's house and pierced the image, it bled. The woman prayed to the Mother of God and went to the water. When the icon touched the water, it floated vertically. The rumor about this reached Mount Athos. The widow's son became a monk on the mountain.

Not far from her, hundreds of years ago, a ship with Mary moored. In the 5th century a monastery was created. One day the monks saw a column of fire from the water. They tried to approach the image, but it floated away as they approached. The monks prayed to God to give them the icon. After some time, the elder saw a vision of the Mother of God and said that she would give them the icon. But for this he must come to her by sea.

The brothers positioned themselves on the shore and began to pray while the elder walked on the water. After receiving it, she was kept in the chapel and prayed for three days. After that, she was moved to the temple, and a source appeared in the place where she was. Then it appeared above the gate, it was removed and returned to its place, but the image again appeared above the gate.

The Mother of God again appeared to the elder and said that there was no need to protect her, she herself would be the guardian of the monastery. The monks built a church above the gate and the image is still there. She is honored on Tuesday of Bright Week. Then a procession of the cross is made to the place where the elder received the shrine.

Meaning

The monastery believes that she works miracles:

  • Relieves ailments;
  • Replenishes supplies;
  • Protects from enemies.

According to legend, during the Persian attack, the monks were praying and suddenly the elements awoke and the enemy ships were sunk. Only the commander survived. He was amazed by divine power and asked for forgiveness. For the remission of sins, he gave everything he had to build the monastery.

The icon often brought the brethren to their senses. One day a poor man approached them with a request for shelter, but he had nothing to pay and was refused. On the way to the capital, he met a woman who gave him a gold coin. The poor man returned to the monastery and gave it to the gatekeeper. The brothers were surprised at her age. They remembered that these were on the frame of the icon. They asked the beggar where he got the coin. From his story they realized that it was the Mother of God herself. As punishment, all the food that remained for the monks spoiled. Since then, they have never taken payment from beggars and treat pilgrims to coffee, oriental sweets and rakia (an alcoholic drink).

A singer of psalms was invited to the monastery; he sang so wonderfully that other singers were jealous of him and poisoned him. He began to pray to the Mother of God and drank oil from the lamp. After this he was healed and began to sing even better than before.

Before the First World War, the face of the child in the icon became angry. The monastery servants warn that if the lamp in front of the icon begins to sway, then disasters will follow.

What to ask for

This image is addressed:

  • For consolation in difficult moments of life;
  • In case of fires and fires;
  • To increase the amount of harvest;
  • For protection from harm.

This icon helps people cleanse their souls. If you pray to her, negative desires will be overcome, and your soul will become calmer. They ask her for protection for themselves, loved ones and enemies.

Like other icons, people pray to her for deliverance from illnesses and other misfortunes. You need to approach with gratitude and a pure soul.

Where to hang

This is the image of the intercessor of women and the hearth. Tradition involves placing the icon above the entrance. In general, the location of the icons does not matter, nor does their number. It is important to follow the standard rules: clean the area next to her, do not place secular objects, etc. The main thing is that simple requests cannot be heard; only requests with faith invested in them will be heard. Remember that nothing is given for nothing.
