“Tabyn” is a wonderful place with a monastery complex for recreation, located in the “Resort” village. On the same territory as a large sanatorium for everyone who wants to improve their health. One day a year, the celebration of the appearance of the Tabynskaya Mother of God icon to the people takes place here. However, at any time of the year it is a good place to relax your body and soul. People who know about holy springs wait for the 9th Friday after Easter. It is on this day that in the village of Kurort, Gafuriysky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan, they celebrate the appearance of the icon of the Tabyn Mother of God and bow to the local wailing wall with their most cherished desires.
To Tabyn by train and minibus
I have heard about the monastery near Orenburg for a long time. The desire to get to a mysterious place grew more and more every year. For the first time I happened to visit this glorious place in the month of October. I looked on the Internet for train tickets in the Chelyabinsk-Ufa direction, took two tickets and a couple of days later I went to the railway station, where my friend was waiting for me. The Ufa-Chelyabinsk distance is wonderful because you take the night train and arrive early in the morning full of energy for new achievements.

We arrived in Bashkiria at 6 am. By this time, public transport, warmed up in anticipation of sleepy passengers, is operating in all directions. We took the tram to the bus station. We bought bus tickets to Krasnousolsk and hit the road through wonderful Bashkiria.

The first thing that enveloped us, people from Chelyabinsk, was the inimitable crystal clear air. There are mountains around, still green meadows, slightly yellowed trees - and it all sank into the lungs, pores, and hair, like a lover’s flair.

- Look, people are swimming! It's 10 degrees outside, the water is no more than 4 degrees, and they're swimming! Men, women and children dipped into the spring with such joy that we automatically went to the locker room to join them. “Oh, how cold,” Anyuta said, undressing. But suddenly the encouraging voices of people who had already plunged into the font began to be heard - nothing, come on, be brave! If you take a dip, you will immediately feel good, everything around will brighten. In general, we come here every weekend to get healthy, for about 5 years now! Fear and cold overcame interest: will it work or not? Well, since thousands of people manage to jump out of the font incredibly cheerful, then we can do it too!

10 minutes later, Anyuta squealed with joy and delight, slipping out of the cold and invigorating water! - happened! Such a thrill, now come on! After swimming, it suddenly felt warm and nice, the smell of autumn oak was in the air. Near the monastery there is a small oak grove where you can relax.

The monastery was calm and not crowded in the fall. We went inside to the Church of the Tabynskaya Mother of God. The icon appeared in people's lives back in the 1570s. In the salt spring, next to which the monastery is now located, the icon was found by a shepherd passing from the hayfield.

I also happened to visit Tabyn during the main holiday for this monastery. The desires of those who come to the holiday differ in material and life prices. Some people just can’t live without a new car, while others come in the hope of being cured of pain and illness. Stories of people confirm: faith in the fulfillment of desires works. The legs begin to walk, the eyes begin to see, and the new car begins to blink its headlights. Having rolled up a piece of paper with my wish, I also went to the holiday, three adults and one child of 6 years old.
Let's make a fire in Tabyn
Approaching the scene of events, we more and more often met pilgrims along the road - those who can, get there as best they can. Suddenly, people in uniform appeared on the road. They stop. -Where are you going? - On holiday. - Everyone is here for the holiday, turn right if you don’t have a pass. We did not yet know that the pass was needed for the nuns, who also arrived in busloads from different cities.

We turn right. The fenced area welcomes those who do not have a pilgrim's pass to those who have arrived. After a 10-hour journey, we make a fire and put on some tea. Suddenly a voice comes over the loudspeaker. Prayer began at the local mosque. Conflicting emotions are already playing out inside. Some have a holiday, and some have a regular daily prayer. We drink tea while Muslims sing and gather for an Orthodox holiday. I approach the neighbors and find out if it is possible to get closer to the temple with a car along the road that goes through our clearing past the mosque.
