On the other hand, fallen human nature is attacked every second by temptations that have their roots in the soul or come from outside. The enemies of the human race, crafty demons, constantly strive to take advantage of the weakness of people, and no one can help us except God, His Angels, the Most Holy Theotokos and the saints.
It can be very difficult for us to overcome the difficulties of life, be it the attractions of the passions, the temptations of the flesh, or the difficult circumstances of external life. It is impossible for a person to predict, and therefore prevent, all the dangers and hardships of spiritual and material life, therefore in any situation one can turn to the One who knows everything and for whom everything is possible.
The prayers of an Orthodox person are different. There is a cycle of prayers that are necessary for the human soul, like air for the body, and therefore they should be known, stored in your mind and read constantly. The New Testament approves of miracles, but only those performed in the name of Christ
Why did we even start rethinking anything? It's simple: the times when the Church took a harsh attitude towards everything that was alien and incomprehensible to it are over.
In the 2nd century, Christians resented the Temple of Asklepion in Pergamon, although this pagan center was also the largest medical institution of its time.

What is important for Orthodoxy here is not that Jesus Christ does not forbid a person to cast out demons, but that this unknown person does his work in the name of the Savior.
In those years, few openly called themselves adherents of Jesus Christ. Christianity was in the status of a sect, small and persecuted.
It is not surprising that there were people who stayed away from Jesus' group but shared His beliefs.
John the Theologian asks not about magicians in general, but about a specific case.
Therefore, it is impossible to say that in these verses all the healer grandmothers received approval from Jesus Christ.

Priests note that healing can only be done by faith and freely
