0:44
Let us now approach the Mother of God diligently, sinners and humility, and let us fall in repentance, calling from the depths of our souls: Lady, help us, having shown mercy on us now, struggling, we are perishing from many sins, not turn away Thy servants of vain, Thy and the only hope of the imams.
Translation: Now we, sinners and humble ones, will diligently run to the Mother of God, and we will fall to Her, crying out in repentance from the depths of our souls: “Mistress, help, take pity on us, hurry up, we are perishing from many sins! Do not let Your servants go empty-handed, for in You we have our only hope!”
Troparion, tone 4
Audio:
0:21
Let us never be silent, O Mother of God, from speaking Your strength and unworthiness: if You had not stood before us to pray, who would have saved us from so many troubles, who would have kept us free to this day? We will not retreat, O Lady, from You: for Your servants always save You from all evil ones.
Translation: We, unworthy ones, will never stop proclaiming Your power, Mother of God, for if You had not protected us with Your prayers, who would have saved us from so many troubles, who would have kept us free to this day? We will not retreat, Lady, from You, for You always save Your servants from all disasters.

The representation of Christians is unashamed, the intercession to the Creator is immutable, do not despise the voices of sinful prayers, but advance, as the Good One, to the aid of us who faithfully call upon Ty; hasten to prayer and strive to supplicate, ever presenting the Mother of God to those who honor Thee.
Translation: The protection of Christians is reliable, Intercession to the Creator is unchangeable! Do not despise the prayerful voices of sinners, but come quickly, as the Good One, to the aid of us who call upon You with faith: “Hasten with your intercession and hasten your prayer, Mother of God, always protecting those who honor You!”

We are not the imams of other help, / are not the imams of other hope, / do You, O Lady, / help us, / we hope in you / and we boast in you, / / For we are your servants, let us not be ashamed.
Translation: We have no other help, we have no other hope except You, Lady, help us, we hope in You and boast in You, for we are Your servants; let us not be ashamed!

Canon of prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos
Sung in every spiritual sorrow and situation
Creation of Theostirikt the monk
Troparion to the Mother of God, tone 4
Let us now approach the Mother of God diligently, sinners and humility, and let us fall down in repentance, calling from the depths of our souls: Lady, help us; Your slaves are vain, You are the only hope of the imams. (Twice)
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Let us never, O Mother of God, be silent about Your power and unworthiness: If You had not stood before us to pray, who would have saved us from such troubles, who would have kept us free until now? We will not retreat, O Lady, from You: for Your servants always save You from all evil ones.
Psalm 50
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your compassions, cleanse my iniquity. Above all, wash me from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; For I know my iniquity, and I will bear away my sin before me. I have sinned and done evil before You alone; for you may be justified in Your words, and may be victorious where You judge. Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and my mother gave birth to me in sins. Behold, you have loved the truth; You have shown me Your unknown and secret wisdom. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be clean; Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. There is joy and merriment in my ears; the bones of the humble will rejoice. Turn away Your face from my sins and cleanse all my iniquities. Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not turn me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me. Give me the joy of Your salvation and strengthen me with the Lord’s Spirit. I will teach the wicked your way, and wickedness will turn to you. Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation; my tongue will rejoice in Your righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will declare Your praise. As if you had wanted sacrifices, you would have given them: you do not favor burnt offerings. The sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; God will not despise a contrite and humble heart. Bless Zion, O Lord, with Your favor, and may the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then take pleasure in the sacrifice of righteousness, the offering and the burnt offering; then they will place Your calf on the altar.
Canon to the Most Holy Theotokos, tone 8

As He saved death and aphids, He Himself gave away death, corruption and death my former nature, Virgin, pray to the Lord and Thy Son, to deliver me from the enemies of crime.

Mistress and Mother of the Deliverer, accept the prayer of Your unworthy servants, that you may intercede with Him who was born of You; Oh, Lady of the world, be the Intercessor!

Hear now my groaning, and incline Your ear to me, the Lady of the Mother of my God, and do not despise me, who requires Your help, and do not reject me, a sinner. Give understanding and teach me, O Queen of Heaven; do not depart from me, Thy servant, O Lady, for my murmuring, but be my Mother and intercessor. I entrust myself to Your merciful protection: lead me, a sinner, to a quiet and serene life, so that I may weep for my sins. To whom shall I turn when I am guilty, if not to You, the hope and refuge of sinners, with the hope of Your ineffable mercy and Your bounty? Oh, Lady Queen of Heaven! You are my hope and refuge, protection and intercession and help. Best regards to my queen and speedy intercessor! Cover my sins with Your intercession, protect me from enemies visible and invisible; soften the hearts of evil people who rebel against me. Oh, Mother of the Lord my Creator! You are the root of virginity and the unfading color of purity. Oh, Mother of God! You grant me help to those who are weak with carnal passions and those who are sick at heart, for only Yours and with You is Your Son and our God imam’s intercession; and by Your wonderful intercession may I get rid of all misfortune and misfortune, O Most Immaculate and Glorious Mother of God Mary. Moreover, with trust I say and cry: Rejoice, O Blessed One, Rejoice, O O Joyful One; Rejoice, Most Blessed One, the Lord is with You.

Prayer
O Most Holy Virgin, Mother of the Lord of the Highest Powers, Queen of heaven and earth, our city and country, our all-powerful Intercessor! Accept this singing of praise and gratitude from us, unworthy Thy servants, and lift up our prayers to the Throne of God, Thy Son, that He may be merciful to our iniquities and add His grace to those who honor Thy all-honorable name and with faith and love worship Thy miraculous image. We are not worthy of being pardoned by Him, unless You propitiate Him for us, the Lady, for everything is possible for You from Him. For this reason, we resort to You, as to our undoubted and immediate Intercessor: hear us praying to You, cover us with Your all-powerful protection and ask God, Your Son, for our shepherds zeal and vigilance for souls, for the city ruler wisdom and strength, for the judges truth and impartiality , a mentor, reason and humility, a spouse, love and harmony, a child, obedience, patience for the offended, the fear of God for those who offend, complacency for those who grieve, abstinence for those who rejoice; to all of us the spirit of reason and piety, the spirit of mercy and meekness, the spirit of purity and truth. To her, Most Holy Lady, have mercy on Your weak people; Gather those who are scattered, guide those who have gone astray onto the right path, support old age, bring up young ones with chastity, raise infants and look upon us all with the gaze of Your merciful intercession, raise us up from the depths of sin and enlighten our heartfelt eyes to the vision of salvation; be merciful to us here and there, in the land of earthly arrival, and at the Last Judgment of Your Son; Having ceased in faith and repentance from this life, our fathers and brethren began to live with the Angels and all the saints in eternal life. For you are, Lady, the glory of heaven and the hope of earth, You, according to God, are our Hope and Intercessor of all who flow to You with faith. We therefore pray to You and to You, as the Almighty Helper, we commit ourselves and each other and our whole life, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Prayers
Troparia with the Mother of God and Kontakion, verboses every day of the week.
PER WEEK EVENINGS
Troparion, tone 4: Heavenly armies of the archistratis, we always pray to you, we are unworthy, and with your prayers protect us with the shelter of the krill of your immaterial glory, preserving us diligently falling, and crying out: deliver us from troubles, like the rulers of the highest powers.
Theotokos, voice 4: Having been brought up in the temple in the Holy of Holies, clothed in faith and wisdom, and immeasurable virginity, Archangel Gabriel brought a kiss from heaven, and rejoice: Rejoice, blessed one, rejoice, most glorified, the Lord is with you.
Kontakion, voice 2: The Archangels of God, servants of the divine glory, the rulers of the angels and the human teachers, ask for what is useful to us and great mercy, like the bodiless archangels.
ON MONDAY EVENING
Troparion, tone 2: The memory of the righteous is with praise, but the testimony of the Lord is sufficient for you, the forerunner: for you have shown in truth and the most honorable of the prophets, as in the streams of baptism you were worthy of what was preached. Moreover, having suffered for the truth, rejoice, you preached the gospel to those in hell, God manifested in the flesh, taking away the sin of the world, and giving us great mercy.
Theotokos, the same voice: The Divine came into being as a community of nature through you, O ever-virgin Mother of God: for you gave birth to God incarnate to us. Moreover, out of duty, we all honorably honor you.
Kontakion, voice 3: Prophet of God, and forerunner of grace, having found your head like the most sacred thorn from the earth, healing is always acceptable: for again, as before, you preach repentance in the world.
TUESDAY EVENING
Troparion, tone 1: O Lord, save Thy people, and bless Thy inheritance, granting victories to the pious king against the resistance, and preserving Thy residence through Thy cross.
Mother of the Cross: We have your intercession, most pure one, and through your prayers we deliver the fierce, we observe the cross of your son everywhere, and out of duty we honor you all with piety.
Kontakion, tone 4: Having ascended to the cross by will, grant to Your namesake new residence Your bounty, O Christ God: by Your power you have rejoiced the faithful kings, giving them victories as adversaries, benefits to those who have Your weapon of peace, an invincible victory.
WEDNESDAY EVENING
Troparion, tone 3: Holy Apostles, pray to the merciful God that he may grant remission of sins to our souls.
Another, St. Nicholas, voice 4: The rule of faith and the image of meekness, self-control, teacher, show you to your flock, even the truth of things. For this reason, you have acquired high humility, rich in poverty: Father Hierarch Nicholas, pray to Christ God to save our souls.
Theotokos, voice 4: The Word of the Father, Christ our God, who became incarnate through the knowledge of you, the Virgin Mother of God, one pure, one blessed: with this we unceasingly magnify you.
Kontakion by the Apostle, voice 2: Firm and divinely preached preachers, you have accepted Thy good disciples, O Lord, into the enjoyment of Thy good things and peace: for Thou hast accepted sickness and death more than all fruitfulness, the only one who knows the heart.
Another, St. Nicholas, voice 3: In Mireh, the holy, the priest appeared: for Christ, like the prophecy, having fulfilled the gospel, you laid down your soul for your people, and saved the innocent from death. For this reason you have been sanctified, as the great hidden place of God’s grace.
THURSDAY PM
Troparion, tone 1: O Lord, save Thy people, and bless Thy inheritance, granting victory to the blessed king against the resistance, and preserving Thy residence through Thy cross.

Another for repose, the same voice: Remember, Lord, how good Thy servants are, and if you have sinned in life, forgive: no one is sinless, only You are able to give peace to the departed.
Theotokos: Holy Mother of ineffable light, we honor you with angelic songs, piously.
ON SATURDAY WITH THE VERB:

Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Most Pure Mother of God, Mother of God, / Your honest Cathedral is decorated with many different kindnesses, / many people of the world bring gifts to You, O Lady, / break the bonds of our sinners with Your mercy // and saved and our souls.

Translation: Before the morning star from the Father without a mother, born on earth without a father, this day appeared in the flesh from You. Therefore, the star preaches the good news to the Magi, and the Angels and the shepherds sing of Your immaculate generations, O Blessed One.

Canon of prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos
Sung in every spiritual sorrow and situation
The creation of Theostiriktus the monk
Troparion to the Mother of God, tone 4
Let us now diligently approach the Mother of God, sinners and humility, and let us fall down in repentance calling from the depths of our souls: Lady, help us, having had mercy on us, struggling, we are perishing from many sins, do not turn away your slaves, for you are the only hope of the imams. (Twice)
Glory, even now: Let us never be silent, O Mother of God, in speaking Your strength to unworthiness: if You had not stood before us, praying, who would have delivered us from such troubles, who would have kept us free until now? We will not retreat, O Lady, from You: for Your servants always save you from all evil ones.
Psalm 50
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your mercies, cleanse my iniquity. Above all, wash me from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; for I know my iniquity, and I will take away my sin before me. To You alone have I sinned and done evil before You; for you may be justified in all of Your words, and you will always triumph over Your judgment. Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and my mother gave birth to me in sins. Behold, you have loved the truth; You have revealed to me the unknown and secret wisdom of Yours. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. My hearing brings joy and joy; humble bones will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and cleanse all my iniquities. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not turn me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me. Reward me with the joy of Your salvation and strengthen me with the Lord’s Spirit. I will teach the wicked Your way, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation; My tongue will rejoice in Your righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will declare Your praise. As if you had wanted sacrifices, you would have given them; burnt offerings are not your good will. The sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; God will not despise a broken and humble heart. Bless Zion, O Lord, with Your favor, and may the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then favor the sacrifice of righteousness, the offering and the burnt offering; Then they will place the bullock on Your altar.
Canon to the Most Holy Theotokos, tone 8
Song 1
Having traversed the water like dry land, and having escaped the evil of Egypt, the Israelite cried out: Let us drink to our Deliverer and our God.
Chorus: Most Holy Theotokos, save us.
Contained by many misfortunes, I resort to You, seeking salvation: O Mother of the Word and the Virgin, save me from heavy and cruel things.
Passions trouble me; fill my soul with much despondency; die, O Young Lady, with the silence of Your Son and God, All-Immaculate.
Glory: Having given birth to You and God as the Savior, I pray, O Virgin, to be delivered from the cruel ones: for now, running to You, I extend both my soul and my thoughts.
And now: Sick in body and soul, grant the visitation of the Divine and providence from You, the only Mother of God, as the good Mother of the Good.
Song 3
Supreme Creator of the heavenly circle, Lord, and the Creator of the Church, Thou strengthen me in Thy love, the desires of the land, the true affirmation, the only love for mankind.
I offer the intercession and protection of my life to Thee, the Virgin Mother of God: Thou feed me to Thy refuge, the good one is guilty; true statement, the All-Singing One.
I pray, Virgin, to destroy the storm of my spiritual confusion and sorrow: You, O Bride of God, gave birth to Christ, the Chief of Silence, the only Most Pure One.
Glory: Having given birth to the good and guilty, the benefactor, pour out wealth to everyone, for all you can, as she gave birth to the mighty one in the strength of Christ, the blessed one.
And now: To him who is tormented by fierce ailments and painful passions, O Virgin, You help me: for healings are infinite, I know You, the Most Immaculate One, the inexhaustible treasure.
Save Thy servants from troubles, Mother of God, for we all, according to God, resort to Thee, as an unbreakable wall and intercession.
Look with mercy, O all-sung Mother of God, on my fierce body, and heal the illness of my soul.
Troparion, tone 2
A warm prayer and an insurmountable wall, source of mercy, refuge of the world, diligently ionized Ti: Mother of God, Lady, advance, And deliver us from troubles, the only one who will soon intercede.
Song 4
I heard, O Lord, Thy sacrament, I understood Thy works and glorified Thy Divinity.
The confusion of my passions, the helmsman who gave birth to the Lord, and the storm of my sins calmed, O Bride of God.
Grant me the abyss of Thy mercy, Who gave birth to the Blessed One and the Savior of all who sing to Thee.
Enjoying, O Most Pure One, Your gifts, we sing in thanksgiving, Our Lady leading Thee.
Glory: On the bed of my illness and infirmity, for those who lie down, as God-loving, help the Mother of God, the only Ever-Virgin.
And now: Hope and affirmation and salvation belong to the immovable wall of You, the All-Singing One, we get rid of every inconvenience.
Song 5
Enlighten us with Your commandments, O Lord, and with Your high arm grant us Your peace, Lover of mankind.
Fill, O Pure One, my heart with joy, Thy incorruptible joy that gives birth to joy, which gave birth to the guilty.
Deliver us from troubles, pure Mother of God, giving birth to eternal deliverance, and peace, which prevails over all minds.
Glory: Resolve the darkness of my sins, Bride of God, with the enlightenment of Your Grace, Who gave birth to the Divine and Eternal Light.
And now: Heal, O Pure One, the infirmity of my soul, worthy of Thy visitation, and grant me health through Thy prayers.
Song 6
I will pour out a prayer to the Lord, and to Him I will proclaim my sorrows, for my soul is filled with evil, and my stomach is approaching hell, and I pray like Jonah: from aphids, O God, lift me up.
As if He saved death and aphids, He Himself gave birth to death, by corruption and death my former nature, Virgin, pray to the Lord and Thy Son, to deliver me from the enemies of crime.
We are Your representative of life and your steadfast guardian, O Virgin, and I solve rumors of misfortunes and drive away taxes from demons; and I always pray to deliver me from the aphids of my passions.
Glory: Like a wall of refuge for money-grubbers, and the all-perfect salvation of souls, and space in sorrow, O Young Lady, and we ever rejoice in Your enlightenment: O Lady, save us now from passions and troubles.
And now: I now lie on my bed sick, and there is no healing for my flesh: but, having given birth to the God and Savior of the world and the Savior of ailments, I pray to You, O Good One: raise me from aphids.
Kontakion, tone 6
The intercession of Christians is shameless, the intercession to the Creator is immutable, do not despise the voices of sinful prayers, but advance, as the Good One, to the aid of us who faithfully call upon Ty; hasten to prayer, and strive to entreat, interceding ever since, the Mother of God, those who honor Thee.
Another kontakion, same voice
There are no imams of other help, no imams of other hope, except for You, Most Pure Virgin. Help us, we rely on You, and we boast in You. We are your slaves, let us not be ashamed.
Stichera, same voice
Do not entrust me to human intercession, Most Holy Lady, but accept the prayer of Thy servant: for sorrow will support me, I cannot endure demonic shooting, I have no protection, below where I resort to the accursed, we always win, and I have no consolation, unless You, the Lady of the world, have hope and the intercession of the faithful, do not despise my prayer, make it useful.
Song 7
The youths came from Judea, in Babylon, sometimes, by the faith of the Trinity, the flames of the cave were quenched, singing: Father in God, blessed art thou.
Just as you wanted to create our salvation, O Savior, you moved into the Virgin’s womb, and you showed the world a representative: our father, God, blessed are you.
The Commander of mercy, Whom you gave birth to, O pure Mother, beg to be delivered from sins and spiritual defilements by faith: our father, God, blessed are you.
Glory: The Treasure of salvation and the Source of incorruption, who gave birth to You, and the pillar of affirmation, and the door of repentance, you showed to those calling: our father, God, blessed are you.
And now: Bodily weaknesses and mental ailments, O Theotokos, with the love of those who approach Thy blood, O Virgin, vouchsafe to heal, Who gave birth to us the Savior Christ.
Song 8
Praise and exalt the Heavenly King, Whom all the angels sing, to all ages.
Do not despise those who demand help from You, O Virgin, who sing and extol You forever.
You heal the infirmity of my soul and bodily illnesses, Virgin, may I glorify You, Pure, forever.
Glory: You pour out a wealth of healings faithfully to those who sing Thee, O Virgin, and to those who extol Your ineffable Nativity.
And now: You have driven away adversity and passions, O Virgin: therefore we sing of You forever and ever.
Song 9
We truly confess Thee to Theotokos, saved by Thee, Pure Virgin, with the bodiless faces magnifying Thee.
Do not turn away from the current of my tears, Even as the Virgin who gave birth to Christ took away every tear from every face.
Fill my heart with joy, O Virgin, who accepts the fulfillment of joy and consumes sinful sadness.
Be a refuge and intercession for those who come running to You, O Virgin, and an indestructible wall, a refuge and cover and joy.
Glory: Illuminate Your light with the dawns, O Virgin, driving away the darkness of ignorance, faithfully confessing Theotokos to You.
And now: In the place of the embitterment of the infirmity of the humbled one, Heal, Virgin, transforming from ill health into health.
Stichera, tone 2
The highest of the heavens and the purest of the lordships of the sun, who delivered us from the oath, Let us honor the Lady of the world with songs.
Because of my many sins my body is weak, my soul is also weak; I resort to You, Most gracious, the hope of the unreliable, You help me.
Mistress and Mother of the Deliverer, accept the prayer of Your unworthy servants, and intercede with Him who is born of You; Oh, Lady of the world, be the Intercessor!
Let us diligently sing a song to You now, the all-sung Mother of God, joyfully: with the Forerunner and all the saints, pray to the Mother of God to be generous to us.
All the angels of the army, the Forerunner of the Lord, the twelve apostles, all the saints with the Mother of God, say a prayer so that we may be saved.
Prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary
Blessings to my queen, my hope to the Mother of God, friend of the orphans and strange intercessors, those who grieve with joy, those who are offended by the patroness! See my misfortune, see my sorrow, help me as I am weak, feed me as I am strange. Weigh my offense, resolve it as if by will: for I have no other help except You, no other intercessor, no good comforter, except You, O Mother of God, for you will preserve me and cover me forever and ever. Amen.
To whom shall I cry, Lady? To whom shall I resort in my sorrow, if not to You, Queen of Heaven? Who will accept my cry and my sighing, if not You, Most Immaculate, the hope of Christians and refuge for us sinners? Who will protect You more in adversity? Hear my groaning, and incline Your ear to me, the Lady Mother of my God, and do not despise me, who requires Your help, and do not reject me, a sinner. Enlighten and teach me, Queen of Heaven; do not depart from me Thy servant, O Lady, for my murmuring, but be my Mother and intercessor. I entrust myself to Your merciful protection: lead me, a sinner, to a quiet and serene life, so that I may weep for my sins. To whom shall I resort when I am guilty, if not to You, the hope and refuge of sinners, inspired by the hope of Your ineffable mercy and Your bounty? Oh, Lady Queen of Heaven! You are my hope and refuge, protection and intercession and help. My most blessed and speedy intercessor! Cover my sins with Your intercession, protect me from enemies visible and invisible; soften the hearts of evil people who rebel against me. O Mother of the Lord my Creator! You are the root of virginity and the unfading color of purity. Oh, Mother of God! Give me help to those who are weak with carnal passions and those who are sick at heart, for one thing is Yours and with You the intercession of Your Son and our God; and through Your wonderful intercession may I be delivered from all misfortune and adversity, O most immaculate and glorious Mother of God, Mary. In the same way I say and cry out with hope: Rejoice, full of grace, rejoice, full of joy; Rejoice, most blessed one, the Lord is with you.

Troparion of the Mother of God before the Icon of Her Sovereign
It is known for certain that at the beginning of the 20th century. Tsar Nicholas II and his wife Alexandra Feodorovna visited the Shakhovsky estate and, in memory of their visit, presented the temple with a lamp with an inscription-decoration made in enamel: “In honor of the coronation of Nicholas and Alexandra in 1896.” The lamp was placed in front of the icon “Like an eagle’s wings,” the parishioners of the Transfiguration Church anointed themselves with oil from the royal lamp, and the temple itself was considered “Royal” because of the special veneration of the sovereign.
On the icon of the Mother of God “Autocratic”, as well as on the icon “Sovereign”, the Queen of Heaven is depicted in Royal purple with a Crown on her head, with a scepter in her hand, only the Royal throne is a Double-headed eagle - a symbol of the Autocracy of the Russian Empire, which has passed to us from Byzantium.
Commentators explain the symbolism as follows. The Baby Jesus Christ sits on the left hand of the Mother of God and blesses with both hands. Next to the throne (from left to right) stand the following saints: Equal-to-the-Apostles Emperor Constantine the Great (May 21/June 3, 337), First Martyr Equal-to-the-Apostles Thekla of Iconium, Seleucia (Sept. 24/Oct. 7, 1st century), St. Sergius of Radonezh (25 Sept./Oct. 8, 1392; July 5/18, 1422), Venerable Varlaam of Khutyn (Nov. 6/19 and 1st Friday of Peter's Lent, 1192). The royal eagle stands on the “Stone of Faith”, aka Christ the Anointed (the stone that the builders rejected became the “head of the corner”, Mark 12:10). The Mother of God affirms the Royal Throne, thereby indicating that true Orthodoxy is possible only under autocratic power.
Orthodox iconographic commentators argue: despite the fact that the “Autocratic” icon is painted in a realistic manner, it still seems that it is necessary to view what is depicted on it through an understanding of the symbols. We remember what happened in 1917: the Russian people “did not want to be under the authority of the tsar,” “for they wanted to be without a tsar,” sending the Anointed of God to martyrdom along with his family, just as the Old Testament high priests and elders sent two thousands of years ago Christ on Calvary.
Since 2003, the list of the “Autocratic” icon began its journey across Russia, and during pilgrimages and religious processions it showed numerous signs and miracles of healing. He began to stream myrrh on August 1, 2003 at a prayer service for St. Seraphim of Sarov in the Nizhny Novgorod diocese; the myrrh flow was repeated in Diveevo at the grave of Hieromonk Vladimir (Shikin) during the memorial service on August 12, 2003 on the birthday of the new martyr Tsarevich Alexei, as well as at an Orthodox exhibition in Moscow in the summer the same year. The image of the royal reliquary cross, donated to the Romanovs by the Shakhovsky princes, was streaming myrrh; currently the cross is in the monastery at the “Ganina Yama” near Yekaterinburg - the burial place of the family of the Royal Passion-Bearers of the Romanovs.
In the summer of 2003, photocopies were made by admirers of the icons, and their distribution among believers began. People flocked to Verzilovo to visit the shrines. However, in the spring of 2004, despite the growing veneration among the people of the icons “Autocratic” and “Like an Eagle’s Wings,” they were removed from the church by order of the church leadership.
It is known that many prophecies directly point to the appearance of an Orthodox future tsar in Russia, and there are many indications that this is God’s will. These are the prophecies of St. Seraphim of Sarov, and St. John of Shanghai (Maximovich), and St. Abel the Seer of Mysteries, and Blessed Pelageya of Ryazan, and St. Theophan of Poltava and others. The prophecy of Elder Nikolai Pskovozersky (Guryanov) about the coming tsar is also known.
As for the “Sovereign” icon, it was returned to Kolomenskoye in 1990. After the unification of the Russian Church and the Russian Church Abroad in August 2007, the icon was taken to Russian parishes in Europe, America and Australia.
Troparion.

Today, faithful people, we brightly celebrate, overshadowed by Your coming, O Mother of God, and looking to Your most pure image, we tenderly say: Cover us with Your honorable Protection and deliver us from all evil, praying to Your Son, Christ our God, to save our souls.
Kontakion to the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, tone 3

PRAYERS TO THE VIRGIN ON THE FEAST OF HER PROTECTION
First prayer
Oh, Most Holy Virgin, Mother of the Lord of the highest powers, Queen of heaven and earth, our city and country, Almighty Intercessor! Accept this singing of praise and gratitude from us, unworthy Thy servants, and lift up our prayers to the Throne of God Thy Son, that He may be merciful to our iniquities, and add His grace to those who honor Thy all-honorable name and with faith and love worship Thy miraculous image.
We are not worthy of being pardoned by Him, unless You propitiate Him for us, the Lady, for everything is possible for You from Him. For this reason, we resort to You, as to our undoubted and speedy Intercessor: hear us praying to You, cover us with Your all-powerful protection, and ask God for Your Son: zeal and vigilance for our souls as our shepherds, wisdom and strength as city rulers, truth and impartiality for judges , the mentor is reason and humility, the spouse is love and harmony, the child is obedience, the offended is patience, the fear of God is offended, the sorrowful is complacency, the rejoicing is abstinence; for all of us is the spirit of reason and piety, the spirit of mercy and meekness, the spirit of purity and truth.
To her, Most Holy Lady, have mercy on Your weak people; Gather those who are scattered, guide those who have gone astray to the right path, support old age, raise young ones to be chaste, raise infants, and look upon us all with the gaze of Your merciful intercession, raise us from the depths of sin and enlighten our heartfelt eyes to the vision of salvation, be merciful to us here and there, in the land of earthly arrival and at the terrible judgment of Your Son; Having ceased in faith and repentance from this life, our fathers and brethren began to live with the Angels and all the saints in eternal life. For you are, Lady, the Glory of heaven and the Hope of earth, You, according to God, are our Hope and Intercessor of all who flow to You with faith. We therefore pray to You, and to You, as the Almighty Helper, we commit ourselves and each other and our whole life, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Second prayer
My Most Blessed Queen, my Most Holy Hope, friend of the orphaned and strange Intercessor, help for the needy and protection of the embittered, behold my misfortune, behold my sorrow: I am possessed by temptation everywhere, but there is no intercessor. You yourself, help me as I am weak, feed me as I am strange, guide me as I am lost, heal and save me as I am hopeless. There is no other help, no other intercession, no consolation except You, O Mother of all who grieve and are burdened! Look down on me, a sinner and in bitterness, and cover me with Your most holy omophorion, so that I will be delivered from the evils that have befallen me, and I will praise Your revered name. Amen.

Ikos 1

Song 1. Irmos
I will open my mouth and be filled with the Spirit, and I will vomit the word to the Queen Mother, and I will appear brightly triumphant, and I will sing and rejoice at those miracles.
Solo. Most Holy Lady Theotokos, hear the prayer of Your servants who pray to You (bow).
With the rank of saints, the Angel, and from the councils, the prophet and apostle, in great glory, like the Mother of God, entered the church today, praying for Christians, delivering everyone from misfortune and sorrow, covering them with His mercy.
Solo. The tabernacle of Thy Moses and the rod of Aaron's name, Thou art for the living tree of Christ prosperous. Having the boldness to Him, those who honor You prayed to the Queen for us, to deliver us from all evil, so that we may glorify the holiday of Your protection.
Glory. Not as in ancient times, before the icon case, David gathered the faces of David and plays, but even more so now, with the rank of saints flowing into the church before You, bowing to You, he says, pray for the people who honor You, that Your glorifying protection may be honestly celebrated.
And now. They sing Thee to the Mother of God of the Angels, and glorify the Patriarchs and the saints, before the face of Thee flowing into the church. Then Saint Andrew saw You with them, praying to God for us sinners, to have mercy on the people glorifying Your protection feast.
Katavasia: Save Thy servants from troubles, O Virgin Mother of God, as we all, according to God, resort to You, as to an unbreakable wall and intercession (bow). Lord have mercy (3 times with bows).
Song 3. Irmos
Thy singers of the Mother of God, the living and incorruptible source, establish your spiritual face as a whole, and grant a crown of glory in the divine glory of Ti.
Solo. The class vegetated divinely, like an unearthed field, rejoicing at the animated meal that contained animal bread. Rejoice at the inexhaustible spring of animal waters, O Lady.
Solo. Your servants, Lady, in the Church of Ti, coming by faith, we await Your mercy: visit our humility, and with Your holy protection, protect people from all evil.
Solo. The Virgin of many names, the prophets were honestly transfigured, and those who now serve You with the Angels. With them, pray to God for us, so that Your protection is a holy day, we all celebrate with joy and light.
Glory. Gideon Prefigure the fleece on You, for Christ God has descended like dew on You: pray to the Mother of God to Him to give victory to our people against their enemies, so that, like having overthrown Midian, He will glorify the saints on Your holiday.
And now. More than the rays of the sun, with your shining amphora you sanctify the church and people, and drive away the darkness of our sins by visiting the Mother of God, praying to your Son and God for us. Confusion.
Glory, even now. Sedalen, voice 5th. Warm Intercessor, and steadfast to hope, firm and unashamed wall, and protection and refuge for those who come running, Ti, ever pure Virgin, pray to Your Son and God from the Angels, give peace and salvation and great mercy.
Song 4. Irmos
Seated in glory on the Divine Throne, on a light cloud, the Most Divine Jesus came from the Most Pure Virgin, and saved those who cried, glory to Thy power.
Solo. Voices of song faithfully cry out to You, the All-Singing One, rejoicing, the fat mountain, suffused with the Spirit, rejoicing, the lamp and hand bearing manna, delighting all pious feelings.
Solo. More than Aaron's icon case, God sanctified the whole of You with the Holy Spirit of the Mother of God, and commanded You to serve as an Angel: with them, pray for the city and people, glorifying Your honest holiday.
Solo. Come now in glory to Your Church, the Mother of God, from the council of all saints: as Saint Andrew sometimes saw You in the light of the air, I pray for Christians, and grant us Your mercy.
Glory. Strengthen the Lady of our people who glorify Thee against their hostile enemies, like David against Goliad, and let Thee cry out in joy; Rejoice in the protection of the saint, and the Intercessor of our city.

Everyone was amazed at Your divine glory: You, the marriage-tempted Maiden, were accepted in the womb of the existing God above all, and You gave birth to a lifeless Son, giving peace to all who sing Your praises.
Solo. The bed of Thee was written by Solomon of old, and the spoon of the Heavenly King is surrounded by the Seraphim, who the Mother of God spoke of Thee. Thus we now pray to You, All-Holy Mother of God, cover us from all troubles.
Solo. The elders are your angel, and the prophets and apostles are honest, as they honestly serve the Mother of God, seeing you pray for the world. Having listened to your petition, the Lord saves the city and the people who trust in you.
Glory. The great prophet Isaiah prophesied, “It is unskillful for marriage to give birth to God.” For you were pure Mary, the holiest of all, and you carried God in your womb and in your hand. We pray to Him for us, Who overshadows You with Your protection, and who glorify You with faith.

And now. With an angelic voice we cry out to You, Most Pure One, rejoicing at the Throne of God, on which Ezekiel sees the Lord, carried in the likeness of a man by the Cherubim, with whom the Mother of God prays for us, that our soul may be saved. Confusion.
Glory, even now. Kontakion, tone 3. The Virgin stands today in the church, and from the faces of the saints, invisibly prays to God for us, the angels and saints worship, and the apostles and prophets rejoice: for for our sake the Mother of God prays to Christ the Eternal God.
Ikos. Come, people, let us enjoy these glorious miracles, for Adam was delivered from aphids, and the ark was not created by Noah, but by God. In ancient times, it was not possible for Moses to see God in the bush of fire, but now the whole earth knows the Son of God from You, who was born, and prays to Him for us, for this reason we glorify You, as the Mother of God, for for our sake the Mother of God prays to the Eternal God.

Troparion, tone 8
The commanded secretly received in the mind, / in the blood of Joseph, with diligence, the Bodiless One appears, the verb more unartificial: / bowed by the descent of Heaven, invariably fits all into Thee, / Him and seeing Him in falsehoods I have received your slave form, / I am horrified to call You // Rejoice, Unbrideless Bride.
Translation: Having comprehended the mysterious command with his mind, the incorporeal one hurriedly appeared under the roof of Joseph, exclaiming to the One who had never known marriage: “He who bowed the heavens by His descent, without changing, is entirely contained in You. And seeing Him in Your bosom taking on the form of a servant, I cry out to You in amazement: Rejoice, Bride, who has not known marriage!”
Canon of prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos.
