1. You are my mother, the Queen of Heaven. You are my cover, you are my hope. And if my heart hurts and is sad, I again call on You for help.
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven Oh, mother of heaven and earth, Hear me, a sinner and unworthy, Deliver me from sorrow and illness.
2. How difficult it is for me, a sinner, to endure temptations. The insidious, crafty one confuses me. Only with You will I find consolation. I again call on You for help.
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven Cover me with an honest amophorion. How weak I am, how sinful I am, Oh, my Mother, calm me down.
3. Deliver me, Mother, from eternal torment and teach me to be silent more. Give me humility and faith in salvation. And teach everyone to love and forgive.
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven. Guide me, Mati, on the true path. Vouchsafe to hear, Queen of Heaven, How the Angels of God sing in heaven.
4. She is entangled in sins, but her heart is like a stone, And she should cry, but there are no tears. Oh, how I will appear, great sinner, at the terrible judgment of God, what answer will I give?
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven Turn your maternal gaze towards me. Beg the Son of Christ the Almighty to protect me at the Last Judgment.
5.You are my mother, the Queen of Heaven. You are my cover, you are my hope. And if my heart hurts and is sad, I again call on You for help.
1. You're my mother, the Queen of Heaven. You're my cover, you are my hope. And if my heart hurt, and sadly, To help again invoke Thee.
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven Oh, mother of heaven and earth, Hear me, sinful and unworthy, From sorrow, disease plagued me.
2. How hard is it to me, a sinner, to endure temptation. Wicked, wicked confuses me. It is only with you I find consolidation. To help again invoke Thee.
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven Honest amoforom You cut me. What I'm weak as I am a sinner, Oh, my Mother, You make me calm down.
3. Deliver me, Mati, from eternal torment And teach me to keep silent any longer. Give me humility and belief in salvation. And learn to love and forgive everyone.
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven. Teach me, Mother, to the true path. Vouchsafe to hear the Queen of Heaven, As the angels of God in heaven sing.
4. Sins entangled, and his heart like a stone, And we need to weep, and the tears that do not. Oh, how I stand, a great sinner, At the last judgment of God, which I will give the answer?
Chorus: Queen of Heaven, Queen of Heaven His mother's eyes I was approaching. Pray Son Christ Pantocrator At the Last Judgment you to protect me.
5.Ty my mother, the Queen of Heaven. You're my cover, you are my hope. And if my heart hurt, and sadly, To help again invoke Thee.
The Mother of God is the greatest and one of the most revered saints in Christianity. Through the sacrament of the birth of the Son of God - Jesus Christ, her sanctification and transformation into the Queen of Heaven took place. Throughout the Christian world there is the greatest reverence and love for her. In honor of her, many icons were painted, with different images and names, but the main ones are prayers to the Mother of God, as to the loving mother of the Son of God, the great patroness and intercessor of all people.
One of the most beautiful and possessing wonderful harmony and melody is the prayer “Queen of Heaven”. Believers turn to her mercy, seeking consolation, help and protection.
Introduction to the Church of the Holy Mother of God
On December 4, believers celebrate a great church holiday - the introduction of the Holy Mother of God into the temple.
It is on this day that the moment when Mary was given by her parents to serve God is celebrated. On the very first day, the high priest Zechariah led the girl to the sanctuary, where she could subsequently enter every year on December 4th. The girl spent 12 years in the temple, after which she independently decided to preserve her virginity in the name of serving God. The significant day began to be celebrated by the Church from ancient times. This is due to the fact that thanks to her parents’ introduction to the Temple, the Virgin Mary began her path to serving God, who allowed people on earth to receive their Savior. Services take place in all churches on this day. The prayers said on this day by believers give praise to the Ever-Virgin Mary and ask for the intercession of the Mother of God before the Almighty for each person praying.
Of course, such a great holiday associated with a significant event in the church world was reflected in icon painting. On icons dedicated to the Introduction, the Virgin Mary is always depicted in the center. The other characters are the parents on one side and the high priest Zacharias, who meets the girl. Icons often depict the steps to the Temple; it was these that little Mary overcame without anyone’s help.
In the calendar cycle, this church holiday coincides with the end of the autumn season and the beginning of the winter period.
The Russian Orthodox people also celebrated on this day:
- Celebration of a young family;
- Opening the gates to winter;
- Importation.
Folk signs on this day:
- After this day, it was forbidden to dig in the street, so women had to take care to stock up on clay for household needs;
- From this day until the ninth Thursday, rolling pins should not be used to beat out laundry, otherwise bad weather could be caused;
- On the holiday, it was forbidden to engage in work associated with beating and friction; it was forbidden to clean and dig the ground.
Since this is a major religious holiday, it was necessary to spend it in harmony and peace with the people around. It is very good on this day to invite close friends or go to visit them. Since the Introduction always falls on the Nativity Fast, on this day it was allowed to diversify the table with fish dishes and drink a little wine.

December 4th is a big holiday, the Entry into the Temple of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A wonderful SONG-PRAYER. Appeal to the MOTHER OF GOD. December 4th is a great church Orthodox holiday, the Entry into the Temple of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary. I created this video for this holiday. Also, this video is perfect for the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Ever-Virgin Mary. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PRAYER SONG to the Mother of God. The materials for the video are taken from the Internet and I do not claim their authorship.
Interpretation
“Queen of Heaven” is a difficult text. It is not read when fulfilling the morning prayer rule. The prayer, composed in poetic form, has choruses and verses. They involve an appeal to the Mother of God for moral help. The Great Martyr is asked to help strengthen her faith, to protect her, to protect her from temptations and sinful desires.
The Most Holy Lady Theotokos is an example of a righteous, sinless life and service to God. She, being an earthly woman, experienced many attempts to tempt her with unclean people, flattery as a way to awaken pride in her, to make her sinful. The Mother of God, like no one else, understands the suffering and doubts of a mere mortal.
The Song to the Queen of Heaven is a prayer of repentance. In each of its verses there is a request to hear a Christian, guide him along the right path and teach him to atone for his sins in order to appear at the Last Judgment and without fear appear before God, to worthily take a place in the Kingdom of Heaven, in paradise.

Prayers of repentance to the Most Holy Theotokos
The Mother of God dedicated her earthly life to serving people, although the human race crucified her Son, our Savior. We offer prayers of repentance to the Most Holy Lady, lamenting our sins.
Prayer to the Mother of God 1st
Most Holy Lady Theotokos, the only one most pure in soul and body, the only one who surpasses all purity, chastity and virginity, the only one who has completely become the abode of the complete grace of the all-holy Spirit, the most immaterial power here has incomparably surpassed the purity and holiness of the soul and body, look upon me, vile, unclean, soul and the body that has been denigrated by the filth of the passions of my life, cleanse my passionate mind, make immaculate and order my wandering and blind thoughts, put my feelings in order and guide them, free me from the evil and vile habit of unclean prejudices and passions that torment me, stop all sin acting in me, grant to my darkened and damned mind sobriety and prudence to correct my inclinations and falls, so that, freed from sinful darkness, I will be vouchsafed with boldness to glorify and sing songs of You, the only Mother of the true Light - Christ, our God; because you, alone with Him and in Him, are blessed and glorified by every invisible and visible creation, now, and always, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary 2nd
Undefiled, Unblessed, Imperishable, Most Pure, Unbridled Bride of God, Mother of God Mary, Lady of Peace and My Hope! Look upon me, a sinner, at this hour, and from Thy pure blood Thou hast unknowingly given birth to the Lord Jesus Christ, make me merciful through Thy motherly prayers; The one who was ripeningly condemned and wounded in the heart with the weapon of sadness, wound my soul with Divine love! The mountaineer who mourned him in chains and abuse, grant me tears of contrition; With His free conduct to death, my soul was seriously ill, free me from illness, so that I may glorify You, worthily glorified forever. Amen.
Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary 3rd
O zealous, compassionate intercessor of the Lord Mother! I come running to You, a cursed man and a sinner above all others: listen to the voice of my prayer, and hear my cry and groaning. For my iniquities have exceeded my head, and I, like a ship in the abyss, am plunging into the sea of my sins. But You, All-Good and Merciful Lady, do not despise me, desperate and perishing in sins; have mercy on me, who repent of my evil deeds, and turn my lost, accursed soul to the right path. On You, my Lady Theotokos, I place all my hope. Thou, Mother of God, preserve and keep me under Thy roof, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos on Sunday, St. Nil Sorsky
O all-merciful Virgin Mother of God, Mother of generosity and love for mankind, my most beloved hope and hope! O Mother of the sweetest, firstborn and all-surpassing love of the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Lover of mankind and my God, Light of my darkened soul! I fall down to You, a great sinner, and I pray to You, the source of mercy and the abyss of generosity and love for mankind: have mercy on me, I cry out to You painfully, have mercy on me, all the wounded, who fell into cruel robbers, and from clothes, clothed me in nakedness, Father, woe is me, naked In the same way, my wounds became stale and rotten in the face of my madness. But, my Lady Theotokos, I humbly pray to You: look at me with Your merciful eye, and do not disdain me, all that is darkened, all that is defiled, all that is immersed in the mire of pleasures and passions, that is fallen in the rage and cannot rise: have mercy on me, and give me a helping hand, raised me from the depths of sin. O my joy! Deliver me from those who have bypassed me; enlighten Thy face upon Thy servant, save the perishing, raise up the fallen: for thou canst do all things, as the Mother of the Almighty God. Pour upon me the oil of Thy mercy, and give me the wine of tenderness; You truly have only one hope in the acquisitions of my life. Do not reject me, who flows to You, but see my sorrow, O Virgin, and the desire of my soul, and accept this and save me, Intercessor of my salvation.
Topics of prayers
Believers say prayers to the Queen of Heaven for various life situations. As a rule, the Virgin Mary is one of the strongest images. How to contact her correctly? What are people asking her for? According to the Theotokos rule, Orthodox Christians must read: “Virgin Mother of God, Hail, Gracious Mary, the Lord is with Thee; Blessed are You among women and blessed is the fruit of Your womb, for You have given birth to the Savior of our souls.”
Of course, from the first days it is difficult to get used to reading so many prayers. But you just have to start. Prayers are said out loud ten times. The Lord's Prayer and the Door of Mercy should also be read. Each ten has a specific meaning, for example:
- we pray for the family;
- about those who are lost and have fallen away from the Orthodox faith;
- consolation in sorrow;
- connecting the separated;
- about protection and support.
In the last ten, the Mother of God is asked for the protection of believers on earth, so that the holy benefactor does not leave them.
Text of the prayer “To my Queen, Offering...”
Here is the text of the prayer “To my Queen, Offering...” with emphasis:
My Most Blessed Queen, My Hope, Mother of God, Friend of the Orphan and Strange to the Representative, the Sorrowful to Joy, the Offended to the Patroness! See my misfortune, see my sorrow; Help me, for I am weak; feed me, for I am strange! Resolve my grievance, as if I were wrong: for I have no other help than You, no other Representative, no good Comforter, except You, O Mother of God! May you protect me and protect me forever and ever. Amen.
How does prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary help?
The New Testament indicates many miraculous incidents that the Mother of God performed. Many needy people saw her image in a dream and told them what exactly needed to be done to avoid trouble. Therefore, there is a popular belief that the Mother of God actively helps:
Since she is the mother of God, she is the mother of all Christian believers. Therefore, she protects her “children” with maternal care. But in order to receive the protection of the Mother of God, a person, first of all, must honor his mother. The connection between mother and child is considered sacred, so the Queen of Heaven always helps in such cases. But if a child does not honor his parents, then how can he count on the help of the Mother of God?

Prayers of Thanksgiving to the Blessed Virgin Mary
Song of praise to the Most Holy Theotokos
We praise you, Mother of God; We confess You, Mary, the Virgin Mother of God; The whole earth magnifies You, the Eternal Father's Daughter. All Angels and Archangels and all Principalities humbly serve You; All Powers, Thrones, Dominions and all the highest Powers of heaven obey you. The Cherubim and Seraphim stand before You rejoicing and cry out with an unceasing voice: Holy Mother of God, the heavens and earth are full of the majesty of the glory of the fruit of Your womb. The Mother praises the glorious apostolic face of her Creator to you; The Mother of God magnifies many martyrs for you; The glorious host of confessors of God the Word gives you a temple; To you the ruling Poles preach the image of virginity; All the heavenly hosts praise you, the Queen of Heaven. Throughout the entire universe the Holy Church glorifies you, honoring the Mother of God; He extols thee true King of heaven, the Maiden. You are the Angel Lady, You are the door of heaven, You are the ladder of the Kingdom of Heaven, You are the palace of the King of glory, You are the ark of piety and grace, You are the abyss of bounties, You are the refuge of sinners. You are the Mother of the Savior, you received freedom for the sake of a captive man, you received God in your womb. The enemy has been trampled upon by you; You have opened the doors of the Kingdom of Heaven to the faithful. You stand at the right hand of God; You pray to God for us, Virgin Mary, who will judge the living and the dead. We therefore ask You, Intercessor before Your Son and God, Who redeemed us with Your blood, so that we may receive the reward in eternal glory. Save Thy people, O Mother of God, and bless Thy inheritance, for let us be partakers of Thy inheritance; preserve and keep us even unto the ages. Every day, O Most Holy One, we wish to praise and please You with our hearts and lips. Grant, Most Merciful Mother, now and always to preserve us from sin; have mercy on us, Intercessor, have mercy on us. May Thy mercy be upon us, as we trust in Thee forever. Amen.

Psalm 96
The Lord reigns, heaven and earth rejoice, His beloved Mother, the Most Pure Ever-Virgin Mary, rejoices more than all the inhabitants of heaven and earth-born, in the whole realm of His dominion; worship Her, all the inhabitants of the region, Angels, Archangels and all the powers of heaven, magnify your great Queen; Patriarchs and prophets, weave eternal praises to Her; apostles, saints, martyrs, confessors, virgins, sing to Her from the songs of Zion; rejoice, all righteous ones, in the presence of the glorified Lady, confess always and everywhere with your heart and lips the memory of Her shrine.
Song instead of glory
Bringing star to the Ever-Virgin Mary, enlighten, I pray to Thee, my sinful blindness, listen to the sighing of my soul, in order to diligently love Thee, fill my heart with heavenly grace, as even I, even if unworthy, but with the goodness and mercy of Thy beloved Son, mine of the true Savior, hitherto covered, I will partake of some of the smallest grains falling from the table of eternal joy.
Prayer Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of Heaven
This article contains: prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos, Queen of Heaven, Lady - information taken from all over the world, the electronic network and spiritual people.
The largest number of church holidays, chants, prayers, and hymns are dedicated to the Mother of God. Over a one-year cycle, the Orthodox Church remembers the entire life of the Lady, starting from Her birth and ending with her Dormition.
A huge number of icons and prayers to the Queen of Heaven, the Most Holy Theotokos, speak of the great love of the entire Orthodox world for Her.
We read prayers to the Queen of Heaven for health in oncology and other diseases, forgiveness of sins, healing of serious illnesses, the gift of children, help with housing issues, solving everyday problems, and much more. Each of our sins causes the Mother of God great pain, and at the same time, each of our misfortunes and sorrows find a response in Her loving heart.
What is the meaning of prayer
The prayer “To my Queen, Offering...”, the text (in full) of which is above, has a special meaning. In addition to expressing his love for the Mother of God, the prayer asks for help in trouble and sorrow. This is confirmed by the phrase in the text “...Behold my misfortune, behold my sorrow...”.
The words “... for I have no other help except You, no other intercessor, no good comforter, except You, O God of God...” indicate that the person praying does not trust anyone except the Mother of God and the Lord. And only in Them does he see patrons, intercessors, comforters and helpers.
The prayer begins with the words “To my Queen, Offering...”. This phrase has a special meaning. Thus, the person praying greets the Mother of God and expresses deep respect for Her.
The phrase “Behold my misfortune, behold my sorrow...” means that the Mother of God sees all human troubles and sorrows. It is impossible to fool Her, since She is All-Seeing, All-Hearing and All-Knowing.
Many people make the mistake of including the prayer “To my Queen, Most Blessed, My Mother of God Hope...”, the text of which is given above, into daily prayer. The Holy Fathers say that this is not necessary.
Prayer is read only in times of need, in sorrow, trouble, or illness. This is confirmed by the words “...Behold my misfortune, behold my sorrow...”.
Psalm of David 63
- History of writing and meaning of the psalm
- Interpretation of the Psalm
In the life of a Christian, secret and insidious conspiracies are not uncommon, however, any curse is opposed by the protection of the Creator. Psalm of David 63 is the king’s prayer appeal to God with a request to protect him from lies and untruths, to grant the protection and mercy of the Lord.
History of writing and meaning of the psalm
Slander, gossip, untrue rumors are the enemies of man that are very difficult to fight. It is impossible to prove your rightness and innocence everywhere and to everyone.
In Psalm 63, David asks God for protection and help
This problem did not escape King David during the period of his son Absalom’s uprising against him, who, by spreading incredible rumors about cruelty and extortion, tried to undermine his father’s authority and thus weaken his power.
Important! Psalm 63 helps to find inner peace in situations where gossip, false slander and curses surround fear and deprive the life of a righteous person of calm and peace.
Interpretation of the Psalm
At the very beginning of Psalm 63, King David emphasizes that he gives the entire situation around him to God in prayer. Fear of an enemy who spreads rumors and can attack anywhere at any time paralyzes David's life.
1 To the director of the choir. Psalm of David.
2 Hear, O God, my voice in my prayer, preserve my life from the fear of the enemy;
3 Protect me from the plans of the treacherous, from the rebellion of evildoers,
4 who have sharpened their tongue like a sword; strained your bow - a sarcastic word,
5 to secretly shoot at the blameless; they suddenly shoot at him and are not afraid.
6 They were confirmed in their evil intentions, they took counsel to hide the snare, saying: who will see them?
7 They seek out untruths, make investigation after investigation, even to the inner life of a person and to the depths of the heart.
8 But God will strike them with an arrow; suddenly they will be wounded;
9 They will smite themselves with their tongue; all who see them will depart from them.
10 And all men will fear and proclaim the work of God, and understand that it is His work.
11 But the righteous will rejoice in the Lord and trust in Him; and all the upright in heart will boast.
In verse 3, the psalmist asks God to protect him from evil plans, thereby stopping the rebellion of his son Absalom.
Verse 4 clearly defines the power of gossip, it calls untrue rumors a sword, a sharp tongue a bow, striking straight to the heart, through the word of slander.
Enemies are afraid to offend an innocent person in a public place; they do it secretly, prepare for a long time, and then attack instantly. The priests tried in every way to denigrate Jesus, but they were very afraid of people, so they acted secretly, vilely, using the spread of gossip and bribery of false witnesses.
Secret enemies are much more dangerous than an enemy openly going into battle; their evil thoughts, like sticky nets, envelop the victim, who has no hope of salvation. Deceitful people disguise their actions, confident in impunity, however, one cannot hide from the wrath of the Creator.
With his own prayer and bitter complaint, King David expresses his worries about the treachery of the conspirators.

Evil people, slanderers do not disdain anything for the sake of their vile plan; in addition to lies, they rummage into the personal life of the one they attack. Absalom knew that the people loved their king, so he was afraid to attack openly, so as not to provoke the people's anger.
David calls himself blameless, of course, the king knew his sins, but in this situation he declares his innocence in the current situation.
Advice! In any situation, you should not try to solve the problem on your own. In prayer and appeal to the Creator, everything can be entrusted to Him.
Once the supporters of the villains will understand their unclean plans, see the defeat of their patrons, fear God and abandon the slanderers. Witnesses of the Lord's punishment will be filled with fear. They will quickly abandon the enemies of the righteous, so as not to become the object of God's wrath.
We recommend studying Psalm 121
At the end of Psalm 63 there is praise to the Creator, on whom the king placed all his trust, and hope that God will resolve everything according to His will and that justice will triumph and the righteous will rejoice.

The Queen of Heaven gave people the rule of the Mother of God and bequeathed it to be sacredly followed, so that life would be righteous and honest, hopes would be justified, and faith would live in hearts forever. At first, the Orthodox people fulfilled them impeccably, but over time everything began to be forgotten and fade into oblivion.
The Most Holy Seraphim of Sarov reminded him of him in his time. The noble elder bequeathed to people to read the rule of the Theotokos Virgin, Rejoice prayer 150 times, saying that those who strictly adhere to this action every day for a long time will receive the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, will become closer to God and receive as a reward for righteous labors, forgiveness, salvation and eternal life.

Earliest known (6th century) Roman image of
Santa Maria Regina
(St. Mary the Queen), Santa Maria Antiqua Church, Rome.
Early Christian art depicts Mary on an elevated platform. She carries her divine son in her arms or holds him. After he ascended to heaven, he reigns in divine glory. Mary, his mother, raised to heaven by her son, shares in his heavenly glory.
Earliest known Roman depiction of Santa Maria Regina
depicting Mary as a queen dates from the 6th century and is located in the modest church of Santa Maria Antiqua (i.e. ancient Saint Mary) built in the 5th century in the Forum Romanum.
Here Mary is clearly depicted as an empress.[43][44][45] As one of the earliest Roman Catholic Marian churches, this church was used by Pope John VII in the early 8th century as a vision for the Bishop of Rome
. Also in the 8th century, the Second Council of Nicaea decreed that such images of Mary should be venerated.[16]
In the early 16th century, Protestant reformers began to discourage Marian art, and some like John Calvin or Zwingli even encouraged its destruction. But after the Council of Trent in the mid-16th century confirmed Marian veneration, paintings for Catholics often depicted Mary as a crowned Madonna, surrounded by stars, standing on top of the world or a partially visible moon. After the victory over the Turks at Lepanto, Mary is depicted as the Queen of Victory, sometimes wearing the crown of the Habsburg Empire.[46] National interpretations also existed in France, where Jean Fouquet painted the Queen of Heaven in 1450 with the face of King Charles VII's mistress.[47] Statues and images of Mary were crowned by kings in Poland, France, Bavaria, Hungary and Austria,[47] sometimes apparently using crowns , which were previously worn by earthly monarchs. The surviving small crown given to Margaret of York appears to have been worn by her at her wedding to Charles the Bold in 1463. A recent coronation was the coronation of a portrait of the Salus Populi Romani
in 1954 Pius XII. The veneration of Mary as queen continues into the 21st century, but artistic expression does not play a leading role as in previous times.[47]
Works of art, including paintings, mosaics and carvings of Mary's coronation as Queen of Heaven, became increasingly popular from the 13th century onwards. The works follow an established pattern, showing Mary kneeling in a heavenly judge to be crowned either by Jesus alone, or by Jesus and God the Father along with the Holy Spirit, usually in the form of a dove, completing the Trinity. The Coronation of Mary is almost entirely a theme in Western art. in the Eastern Orthodox Church Although Mary is often depicted wearing a crown, the coronation never became a generally accepted artistic subject.[8][25]
