Where is the icon of the “Sovereign” Mother of God located?
The original image of the Virgin Mary, the Queen of Heaven, was hidden in the Historical Museum for more than half a century. And the lists were confiscated and destroyed throughout Russia. One of the first surviving lists is in the Church of the Martyr John the Warrior in Moscow. Another miraculous list is located in the Moscow region in the Nikolo-Perervinsky monastery. There is a legend associated with the prayer of the Mother of God of the Inexhaustible Chalice. We are talking about a retired soldier of the Tula province who fell under the power of alcohol addiction - he drank day and night, then his legs gave out, but he continued to drink. In a dream, an elder came to him and ordered him to pray before the icon of the Mother of God in Serpukhov. But the soldier could not go, and there was no money for the journey.
