Icon of the Mother of God “Life-Giving Spring”

Before starting prayer, you need to clear your mind of everyday thoughts and negative emotions and tune in to the process. A person’s mind must be fully included in the words of prayer so that they penetrate the heart. Attention is a very important condition for correctly offered prayer. After all, with attention comes humility, and with humility comes a feeling of repentance. Before asking, you should sincerely repent of your sins.

Important! You should not limit yourself to a one-time prayer. You need to read the prayer book more often until you get what you want. After all, only diligent and repeated prayer cultivates in us the same patience and humility necessary for realizing our own sinfulness and the benefits of the trials sent.

Of course, prayer in church has a very beneficial effect on a person. If it is not possible to get to the temple, then you can pray at home, secluded in a separate room. It is better to do this in front of the icon of the Mother of God with a lit lamp. A calm and quiet atmosphere without distractions will promote heartfelt prayer with faith and trust in the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
