The Holy Martyr Tryphon is highly revered in the Russian Orthodox Church. Helping all those in need and suffering, he asked for only one payment - the truth of faith in Jesus Christ. From his youth, the Almighty gave the Saint the power to heal various ailments and cast out demons.
And one day in his village there was an attack of insects that destroyed the crops in the fields. Tryphon, by the power of his faith and prayer, forced the insects to leave, thereby saving all the inhabitants from imminent hunger.

And in fulfillment of Your commandment “Work six days!”, send me work according to Your Holy Will, so that I have a worthy pay and consolation in fulfilling it, and I promise after six days of work, to sanctify and observe especially carefully the holiness of Sunday , dedicate it to Your worship, good deeds and glorification of Your holy name!
Oh, Lord, may it not be my will, but Your holy will! Help me find a job as soon as possible because I have no source of income. And open my eyes to see Your will! Blessed be Thy Kingdom!
I ask you, Lord, to help me fulfill your instruction: “Work with your own hands.” You said, “I will bless the work of Your hands,” and I will not “borrow.” Oh, Lord, accept my prayer, as it is written: “O Lord, bless his strength, and be pleased with the work of his hands.” Blessed be the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen!".

Life and miracles
They said about him that even as a young man he had not only a strong faith, but also deep grace, which helped, in fact, the boy, to perform great miracles, converting dozens of people to Christ.

Church tradition has preserved, for example, the story of how young Tryphon, condoling with his fellow villagers, the residents of Kampsada, in Phrygia (Asia Minor), fervently prayed to the Lord to expel pests from the fields, which happened by the grace of God.
This became the basis not only for appeals to the saint for help during the invasion of harmful insects, reptiles, mice, but even for an entire sequence placed in the Trebnik. Cast out an evil spirit
Another amazing sign performed by the young man was the expulsion of an unclean spirit from the daughter of the Roman Emperor himself, Gordian. The demon with which the girl was possessed directly called “the youth Tryphon” as the only one who could drive him out, demanding to find him and bring him. Imperial soldiers found a 17-year-old Christian herding geese near Kampsada.
Inviting a simple villager to the king was an honor, but Tryphon was not at all exalted either by this or by the power of God. And therefore, even before his arrival, the shamed evil spirit left the sick woman with a cry, not tolerating the most terrible thing for herself - great humility. Shocked, Gordian released the saint, generously giving him gifts.
“Christ is my faith!”
Several years have passed. Tryphon has already brought many faithful to Christ, preaching and healing the sick. With the accession of Decius (249-251) to Rome, a difficult time of persecution began for believers.
A young Christian who openly convinced pagans to abandon false gods could not help but attract the attention of the Roman authorities. Tryphon was arrested and the eparch, Aquilin, was brought to trial. Despite the ruler’s threats, answering his question about faith, the saint said:
“In life I am guided by my free will, serving Christ alone. Christ is my faith, Christ is my praise, and the crown of my glory.”
Tryphon was brutally beaten, burned with fire, and finally, the eparch ordered the arrested man to be taken hunting and driven after horses. After this, he, already wounded, was dragged through the streets of the city. But all this torment did not break the saint. Enraged, Akilin ordered the martyr's head to be cut off. But before Tryphon accepted this final torment, the Lord Himself took his soul on February 14, 250 in Nicaea.

The day of the saint's death became the day of celebration of his memory, which takes place on February 14.
Tradition tells: the last prayer of the saint was a request for those who would commemorate him, to grant them grace, help, everything that is needed for bodily life, as well as spiritual salvation. The Christians of Nicaea, believing this intercessor, intended to preserve his relics at the place of suffering, as protection for their city. But Tryphon, appearing in a vision, ordered his body to be sent to his homeland.
Subsequently, many miracles were known through his prayers.
