About invisible intercessors
Many holy fathers said that guardian angels are powerful protectors of people in any troubles that may haunt them during earthly life. They love a person just like his parents, so they are constantly concerned about the salvation of his soul. These disembodied intercessors do not stop caring for their “wards” even after the end of their earthly existence. According to church tradition, an invisible patron accompanies the soul of a Christian, to whom he is assigned by the Lord, even after death.
There, the Orthodox Christian has another angel. But communication with the guardian who protected him on Earth never stops.

Before communion and confession, it is no coincidence that it is customary to read the Canon to the Guardian Angel. The human soul, as is known, has an incorporeal nature. She is like angels. Therefore, it is these invisible intercessors that are called upon to help people in their struggle with sins and the desire to cleanse their souls, damaged as a result of the fall of the first people. They need to be addressed not only when a believer suffers various illnesses and troubles.

Who is Guardian Angel
The Greek word “angel” means “messenger.” Angels are disembodied invisible spirits created by God before He created the visible world and man. Their purpose is to serve God, fight demons - fallen angels, bring people the good news about God and help people save their souls.
The Guardian Angel accompanies every Christian from baptism until death and after it - until God determines the person’s fate after death. Throughout life, the Guardian Angel protects a person from the evil of other people and demons, instills in him good thoughts and directs them to God. Due to a person’s sins, the Guardian Angel can move away from him, but continues to pray to God for the salvation of the soul entrusted to him. When a person repents of his sins and begins to correct his life according to the commandments of God, the Angel returns to him. After death, a person sees his Guardian Angel, who accompanies the soul through posthumous ordeals, that is, those tests to which the soul is subjected for sins committed. When a person’s soul appears before the judgment of God, the Angels intercede for the one who during his life tried to keep the commandments of God and ask for forgiveness of his sins.
