Psalm 104

1: Praise the Lord; call on His name; proclaim His works among the nations; 2: sing praises to Him and sing praises to Him; tell about all His miracles. 3: Boast in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. 4: Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face always. 5: Remember His wonders which He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth, 6: You, the seed of Abraham, His servants, the sons of Jacob, His chosen ones. 7: He is the Lord our God: His judgments are in all the earth. 8: He always remembers His covenant, the word which He commanded for a thousand generations, 9: Which He bequeathed to Abraham, and His oath to Isaac, 10: And He gave it to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, 11: When they were still few in number, very few, and they were strangers in it 12: and passed from nation to nation, from kingdom to another nation, 13: he did not allow anyone to offend them and rebuked kings about them: 14: And he called famine upon the land; every stalk of grain was destroyed. 15: He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold as a slave. 16: They bound his feet with fetters; his soul entered into iron, 17: until his word was fulfilled, the word of the Lord tried him. 18: The king sent, and the ruler of the nations permitted him, and released him; 19: He made him lord over his house and ruler over all his possessions, 20: so that he would instruct his nobles according to his soul and teach his elders wisdom. 21: Then Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob migrated to the land of Ham. 22: And God greatly multiplied his people, and made them stronger than their enemies. 23: He aroused in their hearts hatred against His people and deceit against His servants. 24: He sent Moses his servant Aaron, whom he had chosen. 25: They showed among them the words of His signs and His wonders in the land of Ham. 26: He sent darkness and made it gloomy, and they did not resist His word. 27: He turned their water into blood, and killed their fish. 28: Their land brought forth multitudes of frogs, even in the bedchambers of their kings. 29: He spoke, and various insects came and swarmed throughout all their borders. 30: Instead of rain, he sent hail upon them, scorching fire upon their land, 31: and he struck down their grapes and their fig trees, and broke down the trees within their borders. 32: He said, and locusts and caterpillars came without number; 33: And they ate up all the grass of their land, and ate the fruit of their fields. 34: And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their strength. 35: And he brought out Israel with silver and gold, and there was no sick man among their tribes. 36: Egypt rejoiced at their coming; for fear from them fell upon him. 37: He spread a cloud to cover them, and fire to give them light at night. 38: They asked, and He sent quails, and filled them with the bread of heaven. 39: He opened the stone, and the waters flowed out, and flowed like a river in dry places, 40: for He remembered His holy word to Abraham His servant, 41: and He brought His people out with joy, His chosen ones with gladness, 42: And He gave them the lands of the nations. , and they inherited the labor of strangers, 43: that they might keep His statutes and keep His laws. Hallelujah! Hallelujah.

Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King God.

Come, let us bow and fall down to Christ Himself, the King and our God.

1 The prayer of a beggar, when he is discouraged, and before the Lord he pours out his prayer, 101

2Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come to You. 3 Do not turn Your face away from me: even if I mourn a day, incline Your ear to me: even if I call on You a day, hear me quickly. 4Like my days have vanished like smoke, and my bones have dried up like dry land. 5 I was wounded like grass, and my heart was faint, as if I had forgotten to bear my bread. 6 Because of the voice of my groaning my bone cleaves to my flesh. 7 He became like the tawny owl of the desert, like a crow diving at night. 8 It was like a special bird here. 9 All day long I reproach you, and those who boast about me swear by me. 10 I ate ashes like bread, and dissolved my drink with weeping. 11 From the face of Your wrath and Your wrath: as You have exalted You have cast me down. 12My days have turned away like the shade, and I have dried up like hay. 13But You, O Lord, endure forever, and Your memory endures forever. 14You have risen, having spared Zion, for the time has come to spare it. 15For Thy servants are pleased with his stone, and they will destroy his dust. 16And the nations shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall fear thy glory. 17For the Lord will build Zion and appear in His glory. 18 Consider the prayer of the humble, and do not despise their prayers. 19 Let this be written for a generation, and the people of the land will praise the Lord. 20For the Lord looked down from heaven upon the earth from His holy heights, 21to hear the groaning of the chained, to loose the sons of the slain, 22to proclaim in Zion the name of the Lord, and the praise Him in Jerusalem. 23 At times the people will gather together, and the king, who will work for the Lord. 24 His strength answered him on the way: make known to me the diminishing of my days. 25 Do not bring me to the half of my days: in the generation of your generations. 26In the beginning, O Lord, You founded the earth, and Your hand made the heavens. 27They will perish, but you remain: and all, like a robe, they will promise, and like their clothing, they will be changed. 28You are the same, and Your years will not fail. 29Your sons will dwell, and their seed will be restored forever.

Psalm to David 102

1Bless the Lord, my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget all His rewards, 3 who cleanses all your iniquities, who heals all your illnesses, 4 who delivers your life from corruption, who crowns you with mercy and bounty, 5 who fulfills your good desires: your youth will be renewed like an eagle. 6 The Lord show mercy and fate to all who are offended. 7 He told Moses His ways, He told the children of Israel His desires: 8 The Lord is generous and merciful, long-suffering and abounding in mercy. 9 He is not completely angry, he is at enmity forever, 10 he did not create for us to eat because of our iniquity, but because of our sin he repaid us to eat. 11For as the height of the heavens is from the earth, the Lord established His mercy on those who fear Him. 12As far as the east is from the west, he has removed our iniquity from us. 13 As a father gives generously to his sons, the Lord provides generously to those who fear Him. 14 Because he knew our creation, I will remember him as if he were the dust. 15 A man is like the grass of his days, like a field flower, so he will blossom, 16 like the spirit that has passed through him, and he will not be, nor will anyone know his place. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, 18 And His righteousness is on the sons of sons, who keep His covenant and remember His commandments to do. 19The Lord has prepared His Throne in Heaven, and His Kingdom rules over all. 20 Bless the Lord, all His angels, who are mighty in strength and do His word, so that they may hear the voice of His words. 21Bless the Lord, all His might, His servants who do His will. 22Bless the Lord, all His works, in every place of His dominion; bless the Lord, O my soul.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Psalm to David, about worldly existence, 103

1Bless the Lord, my soul. Lord, my God, you have been greatly magnified. You have clothed yourself in confession and decree. 2 Dress yourself in light like a robe, stretch out the sky like a skin. 3 Cover yourself with the highest waters, set the clouds for your rising, walk on the wing of the wind. 4 The angels create their own spirits and servants, their own fiery flame. 5 Found the earth on its firmament, it will not be bowed forever. 6 The deep is like a robe, its garment, the waters will rise on the mountains, 7 they will flee from your rebuke, they will fear the voice of your thunder. 8 The mountains rise and the fields descend to the place that you founded for them. 9 You have set a limit; it will not be passed over; it will return to cover the earth. 10Send springs into the wilds, and waters will flow through the middle of the mountains. 11 All the wild animals are attacking, they are waiting for their thirst. 12The birds of the air will take root in you; from the midst of the stones they will give a voice. 13 Solder the mountains from Your high ones; the earth will be satisfied with the fruit of Your works. 14 Thou shalt cut down the grass for cattle, and the grain for the service of man, and bring forth bread from the ground. 15 And wine makes a man glad; anoint the face with oil, and bread strengthens a man’s heart. 16 The trees of Poland, the cedars of Lebanon, which you planted, will be satisfied. 17 There the birds nest; Herod’s dwelling is their leader. 18 The high mountains are green, the stones are a refuge for the hare. 19He created the moon in time, the sun knew its west. 20 Thou didst put on darkness, and it became night, in which all the beasts of the oak groves would pass. 21 Let them roar, take them away, and seek food for themselves from God. 22The sun will rise and gather together and lie down in their beds. 23A man will go out to his work and to his work until evening. 24 Because Your works are great, O Lord, You have done all things in wisdom, so that the earth is filled with Your creatures. 25 This is a great and spacious sea, where there are vermin, of which there is no number, the smallest animals with the great ones, 26 where the ships sail, this serpent, whom you also created, curses him. 27Everyone looks forward to You, give them food for good times. 28When I give to You, they will gather them, and when I open Your hand, all will be filled with goodness; 29When I turn away Your face, they will rebel, take away their spirit, and they will disappear and return to their dust. 30 Follow Your Spirit, and they will be created, and you will renew the face of the earth. 31Be the glory of the Lord forever, the Lord will rejoice in His works, 32look upon the earth, and make it shake, touch the mountains, and smoke. 33I will sing to the Lord in my life, I will sing to my God even though I am, 34that He may delight in my conversation, and I will rejoice in the Lord. 35 Let sinners and wicked women disappear from the earth, as if they were not to be. Bless the Lord, my soul.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, glory to you, God. (three times)

Lord, have mercy (three times)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Rest, Lord, to the souls of your departed servants: (their names) , and to all departed Orthodox Christians (bow), and as much as men have sinned in this life, You, as the Lover of Mankind, forgive them and have mercy (by clone), deliver eternal torment (bow), give to the participants of the Heavenly Kingdom (bow) and do something useful for our souls (bow).

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Alleluia, 104

1Confess to the Lord, and call upon His name, and proclaim His works among the nations. 2Sing to Him and sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders. 3 Boast in His holy name, so that the hearts of those who seek the Lord may be glad. 4Seek the Lord, and be strong; seek His face without fail. 5 Remember His wonders which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth. 6The seed of Abraham is his servant, the sons of Jacob are his chosen ones. 7 This is the Lord our God, His destiny is throughout all the earth. 8 I will remember my covenant forever, my commandment for a thousand generations, 9 which I made in command to Abraham, and my oath to Isaac. 10And thou shalt establish it for Jacob as a commandment, and for Israel as an everlasting covenant, 11saying: I will give thee the land of Canaan, which is already yours, 12that they may never be a small number, the least, and a stranger. in it. 13And it went from tongue to tongue, and from kingdom to people. 14 Do not let a man offend them, but the king will rebuke them. 15 Do not touch my anointed ones, and do not deceive my prophets. 16And he called a famine upon the earth, and destroyed every grain. 17 He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold as a slave. 18 His soul was humbled in chains, and iron passed through his soul, 19 until his word came, the word of the Lord kindled him. 20 The king sent and gave him permission, the prince of men, and let him alone. 21Make him lord of his house, and a prince of all his wealth; 22make his princes chasten for themselves, and his elders make him wise. 23And Israel went down to Egypt, and Jacob came into the land of Ham. 24And your people will grow greatly, and I will strengthen you more than their enemies. 25 Turn their hearts to hate His people, to create flattery among His servants. 26Moses sent his servant Aaron, whom he had chosen for himself. 27 Place in them the words of Your signs and Your wonders in the land of Ham. 28Send darkness and darken it, for it has made His words bitter. 29Thou shalt turn their waters into blood, and starve their fish to death. 30Their land boiled with frogs in the treasuries of their kings. 31 It spoke, and a lot of flies came, and the monks came to all their borders. 32Cause their hail to rain and fire to fall upon their lands, 33and smite their vineyards and their figs, and destroy every tree of their border. 34 It spoke, and springs and caterpillars came, and there was no end to them. 35And he ate all the grass of their land, and ate all the fruit of their land. 36And smite every firstborn in their land, the firstfruit of all their labor, 37and bring forth with silver and gold, and there shall not be pain in their knees. 38 Egypt rejoiced at their departure, for their fear had come upon them. 39Spread a cloud to cover them and fire to enlighten them during the night. 40 I asked and came to the krastel, and the bread of heaven to fill me, 41 the stone was opened and the waters flowed, the rivers flowed into the waterless rivers, 42 for I will remember my holy word even to Abras amu, his servant. 43And He brought forth His people with joy, and His chosen ones with gladness. 44And you will give them a land of language, and the labors of the people to inherit yours, 45so that they may preserve His righteousness and seek His law.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, glory to you, God. (three times)

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (three times)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord, cleanse our sins; Master, forgive our iniquities; Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Thy name's sake.

Lord, have mercy (three times)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven! Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as it is in heaven and on earth. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, just as we forgive our debtors; and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Also troparia, tone 8:

Like a harlot I fall down to Thee, that I may accept abandonment, and instead of peace, I bring tears from my heart to Thee, O Christ our God: that forbear with her, O Savior, and grant the cleansing of sins. For I call her Ti: deliver me from the troubles of my deeds.

Slava: Why don’t you think, my soul, of death? Why don’t you turn to other corrections before the trumpet sounds at the judgment? Then there is no time for repentance. Take in your mind the publican and the harlot calling: I have sinned, Lord, have mercy on me.

And now: Because the powers of Heaven are truly superior to Your birth, the Ever-Virgin Mother of God, who has been enriched by Your Divinity, we unceasingly magnify You.

Lord, have mercy (40) and prayer:

We thank Thee, Lord God of our salvation, for you have done everything for the good deeds of our lives, for you gave us rest in the past night time, and you raised us up from our beds, and set Thou art us in worship of Thy honorable and glorious name. Moreover, we pray to You, Lord: give us grace and strength, so that we may be worthy of You to sing wisely and pray unceasingly: and I will look to You, the Savior and Benefactor of our souls, to save my own with fear and trembling. It is valid. Hear now and have mercy, O Compassionate One, on us: crush under our feet the invisible warriors and enemies: accept thanks according to our strength: give us grace and strength to open our mouths, and teach us about by Your righteousness. For let us pray as we should, unless You, Lord, guide us with Your Holy Spirit. If you have sinned even before this hour, in word, or in deed, or in thought, willfully, or involuntarily, relax, forgive, forgive. If you see lawlessness, Lord, Lord, who will stand? For You have purification, You have deliverance. You are the only Holy One, the Mighty Helper, and the Protector of our life, and we bless You forever, amen.

If you have taken a break from reading the Psalter for more than a day, we recommend that you first read the prayers before starting to read the Psalter.

KATHISMA THE FOURTHTEN

1 The prayer of a beggar, when he is discouraged, and before the Lord he pours out his prayer, 101

2 Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come to You.

3 Do not turn Your face away from me: even if I mourn a day, incline Your ear to me: even if I call on You a day, hear me quickly.

4 As if my days had vanished, like smoke, and my bones had dried up.

5 I was wounded like grass, and my heart failed, because I forgot to bear my bread.

6 Because of the voice of my groaning my bone cleaves to my flesh.

7 We became like the tawny owl of the desert, like a nighttime corvid on its dive.

8 I was like a special bird here.

9 Reproach me all day long, and those who praise me are cursed by me.

10 Ashes are gone, like bread is poisoned, and my drink is dissolved with weeping.

11 From the presence of Thy anger and Thy wrath: for as Thou hast exalted Thou hast cast me down.

12 My days have turned away like the shade, and I have dried up like hay.

13 But You, O Lord, endure forever, and Your memory endures forever.

14 You have risen, having shown mercy to Zion, for the time has come to show mercy to her, for the time has come.

15 For Thy servants will take pleasure in his stone, and his dust will blight him.

16 And the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth shall fear thy glory.

17 For the Lord will build Zion, and will appear in His glory.

18 Consider the prayer of the humble, and do not despise their prayers.

19 Let this be written for all generations, and the people of the land will praise the Lord.

20 For the Lord looked down from heaven to earth from His holy heights,

21 Hear the groaning of those in chains, loose the sons of the slain,

22 To proclaim the name of the Lord in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem.

23 Sometimes the people and the king will gather together to work for the Lord.

24 I told him in the way of his strength, that I might make the lowness of my days known to me.

25 Do not bring me to the end of my days: in the generation of your generations

26 In the beginning, O Lord, You founded the earth, and the works of Your hand are the heavens.

27 They will perish, but You remain, and all their garments will be discarded, and all their garments will be changed.

28 You are the same, and Your years will not fail.

29 The sons of Your servants will dwell, and their seed will be perfected forever.

Psalm to David, 102

1 Bless the Lord, my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget all His rewards,

3 Who cleanses all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,

4 who delivers your belly from corruption, who crowns you with mercy and compassion,

5 who fulfills your desires for good: your youth will be renewed like an eagle.

6 The Lord give alms and fate to all who are offended.

7 Moses told the sons of Israel his ways and his desires.

8 The Lord is generous and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy.

9 He is not completely angry, he is always at enmity,

10 He did not cause us to eat because of our iniquity, but because of our sins He repaid us to eat.

11 For according to the height of the heavens from the earth, the Lord established His mercy on those who fear Him.

12 Because the east is far from the west, he has removed our iniquities from us.

13 As a father gives generously to his sons, the Lord will provide for those who fear Him.

14 Because our creation was known by him, I will remember him as the dust of him.

15 A man, like the grass of his days, like the flower of the field, will blossom,

16 For a spirit has passed through him, and is not, neither does he know his place.

17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him,

18 And His righteousness is upon the sons of sons, who keep His covenant and remember His commandments to do.

19 The Lord has prepared His Throne in Heaven, and His Kingdom possesses all.

20 Bless the Lord, all His angels, who are mighty in strength and do His word, to hear the voice of His words.

21 Bless the Lord, all His might, His servants who do His will.

22 Bless the Lord, all His works, in every place of His dominion; bless the Lord, my soul.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Trisagion according to Our Father:

Troparion, tone 8: Like a harlot, I prostrate myself before You to receive forgiveness, and instead of peace, I bring tears from my heart to You, Christ our God, so that, like her, You may take pity on me, O Savior, and grant me cleansing from sins. For, like her, I cry to You: “Draw me out of the mire of my deeds!”

Slava: Why don’t you, my soul, think about death? Why don’t you finally turn to correction before the trumpet announces the Judgment? Then there will be no time for repentance. Imagine in your mind a publican and a harlot crying out: “I have sinned before You, Lord, have mercy on me!”

And now: Truly surpassing the heavenly powers by the birth of the Savior from You, Ever-Virgin Mother of God! We, having been enriched through You by communion with the Divine, constantly magnify You.

Lord, have mercy (40) and prayer: We thank You, Lord God of our salvation, for You do everything for the good of our life! You gave us rest in the past time of the night, and raised us from our beds, and set us to worship Your holy and glorious name. Therefore, we pray to You, Lord: grant us grace and strength, so that we may be worthy of singing You wisely, and praying unceasingly, and always looking to You, the Savior and Benefactor of our souls, working out our salvation with fear and trembling. Hear and have mercy on us, O Merciful One! Crush invisible opponents and enemies under our feet, accept our feasible thanksgiving, grant us grace and strength to open our lips and teach us Your commandments. For we do not know what to pray about, as we should, if, Lord, You do not teach us by Your Holy Spirit. If we have sinned in any way even before this hour, in word, or in deed, or in thought, voluntarily or involuntarily, relax, forgive, forgive. After all, if You, Lord, notice iniquities, Lord, who can stand? For with You is propitiation, with You is deliverance. You are the One Holy One, the mighty Helper and the Protector of our life, and we bless You in all ages. Amen.

According to the 14th Kathisma

Trisagion according to Our Father: The same troparia, tone 8: Like a harlot, I fall down to Thee, that I may accept forsaking, and instead of peace, I bring tears from my heart to Thee, O Christ God: that Thou hast graciously granted me, O Savior, and granted the cleansing of sins.
For she is the one I call Ti: deliver me from the troubles of my deeds. Slava: Why don’t you think, my soul, of death? Why don’t you turn to other things for correction before the trumpet is sounded in court? Then there is time for repentance. Receive in your mind the publican and the harlot calling: I have sinned, O Lord, have mercy on me.

And now: As You truly surpass the powers of Heaven by Your birth, the Ever-Virgin Mother of God, who has been enriched by Your Divinity, we unceasingly magnify You.

Lord, have mercy (40) and prayer: We thank You, Lord God of our salvation, for you have done everything for the benefit of our lives, for you have given us rest in the past night time, and you have raised us up from our beds, and you have placed us in the worship of the honest and Your glorious name. We also pray to You, Lord: give us grace and strength, so that we may be worthy of You to sing wisely and pray unceasingly: and I will look to You, the Savior and Benefactor of our souls, with fear and trembling, our salvation working. Hear now and have mercy, O Compassionate One, on us: crush under our feet the invisible warriors and enemies: accept according to the strength of our thanksgiving: give us grace and strength to open our mouths, and teach us by Your justification. As if we would not pray as we should, except You, Lord, guide us with Your Holy Spirit. If you have sinned even before the present hour, in word, or deed, or thought, willfully or involuntarily, relax, forgive, forgive. If you see iniquity, Lord, Lord, who will stand? For You have purification, You have deliverance. You are the only Holy One, the Mighty Helper, and the Protector of our life, and we bless You forever, amen.

Psalter

The prayer of the poor, when he becomes discouraged and pours out his prayer before the Lord, 101

2 Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry ascend to You!

3 Turn not Your face away from me; on the day when I mourn, incline Your ear to me; on the day when I call on You, soon hear me!

4 For my days are gone like smoke, and my bones are dried up like brushwood.

5 I was cut off like grass, my heart was withered, and I even forgot to eat my bread.

6 Because of my ceaseless groaning my bone has become dry to my flesh.

7 I became like a desert bird; I was like an owl in the night on the ruins.

8 I was awake and like a lonely bird on the roof.

9 My enemies reviled me every day, and those who formerly praised me denied me with an oath.

10 I ate ashes with bread and drank water with tears,

11 I am oppressed by Your anger and Your wrath, for You exalted me, but then brought me down.

12 My days are gone like a shadow, and I am dried up like hay.

13 But You, O Lord, remain forever, and You are remembered from generation to generation.

14 You will arise and show mercy to Zion, for the time to show mercy has already come!

15 For Your servants have loved the stones of Zion, and even its dust is dear to their heart.

16 And the nations shall fear the name of the Lord, and the kings of the earth his glory;

17 For the Lord will raise up Zion and appear in His glory.

18 He heard the prayer of the humble, and did not reject their prayers.

19 Let this be known to the generations to come, and our descendants will praise the Lord;

20 For He bowed down from His holy height, the Lord looked down from Heaven to earth;

21 He will hear the groans of the captives, He will untie the bonds of the sons of slain fathers.

22 And the name of the Lord will be proclaimed in Zion; they will glorify Him in Jerusalem,

23 When nations and kings are gathered together to serve the Lord.

24 I said to God when I was in the fullness of my strength: “Tell me how many days of my life are left.

25 Do not take away my life halfway through my years!” Your years are countless!

26 In the beginning You, O Lord, created the earth, and the work of Your hands is the heavens.

27 They will perish, but You remain forever; like clothing, they will wear out, and like a robe, you will wear them, and they will be transformed;

28 But You remain unchanged, and Your years will not fail.

29 The sons of Your servants will dwell with the righteous, and their descendants will live forever in righteousness.

Psalm of David, 102

1 Bless the Lord, my soul, bless His holy name, my heart!

2 Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget His good gifts!

3 Who cleanses you from iniquities, who heals all your diseases,

4 Who delivers your life from destruction, who crowns you with mercy and compassion,

5 Who fulfills your good desires. Your youth will be renewed like an eagle!

6 The Lord shows mercy and just judgment to all who are offended;

7 He revealed His ways to Moses, His commandments to the children of Israel.

8 The Lord is generous and gracious, long-suffering and abounding in mercy,

9 He is not angry forever, and He puts an end to His enmity.

10 He did not deal with us according to our iniquities, nor did He reward us according to our sins.

11 As the heavens are high above the earth, so great is the mercy of the Lord toward those who fear Him;

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our iniquities from us.

13 As a father has mercy on his sons, so the Lord has mercy on those who fear Him.

14 For He knows His creation; He remembers that we are dust of the earth.

15 people! His days are like grass, like the blossoming of fields, he will fade away;

16 For the spirit will fly away from him, and he will be no more, and he will no longer recognize his village.

17 Now the mercy of the Lord is upon those who fear Him throughout all ages,

18 And His righteousness is upon the sons of sons, those who keep His covenant, remember His commandments and keep them.

19 The Lord has erected His Throne in Heaven, and all things are subject to His Kingdom.

20 Bless the Lord, all His angels, mighty in His strength, who hearken to His voice and do His will!

21 Bless the Lord, all your heavenly powers, your servants who do His will!

22 Bless the Lord, all that He has made, everywhere where He rules! Bless the Lord, my soul!

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen

Psalm of David, about the existence of the world, 103

1 Bless the Lord, my soul! Lord my God, Your greatness is immeasurable! You are clothed with splendor and glory.

2 You dress yourself in light like a robe, you spread out the sky like a leather tent;

3 You cover Your heights with waters, You ascend on the clouds, You walk on the wings of the wind;

4 You created Your spirits - Angels, and clothed Your servants in a flame of fire.

5 You have firmly established the earth; He will never turn aside from his path.

6 The deep is like a garment; there will be water on the mountains.

7 They will flee from Your threat, they will fear the voice of Your thunder;

8 The waves rise like mountains and fall down, where You have ordained them.

9 You have set a limit; the waters will not pass over it, neither will they flood the earth.

10 You send streams into the wilds, and waters flow among the mountains.

11 They will give water to the beasts of the field, and the onagers will quench their thirst.

12 The birds of the air live by the water; among the rocks a voice is heard.

13 You will water the mountains from Your heights; The earth will be satisfied with the fruits of Your works.

14 Grass grows for livestock, and grains grow for man’s benefit, so that the earth may bring him bread;

15 And wine makes a man’s heart glad, and his face shines as if anointed with oil, and bread strengthens a man’s heart.

16 The trees of the fields will drink moisture, the cedars of Lebanon, which You planted;

17 Birds live there, the stork’s nest rises above them.

18 High mountains are a refuge for deer, rocks are a refuge for hares.

19 You created the moon to indicate the times; the sun knows the hour of its setting.

20 You spread the darkness, and night comes, and the forest animals roam in the darkness;

21 The young lions roar, hunger for prey, and ask God for food for themselves.

22 The sun will rise, and they will return and lie down in their lairs.

23 A man will go out to do his work, to do his deeds until the evening.

24 How great are Your works, O Lord! How wisely You created everything! Thy creatures inhabited the earth.

25 Behold the sea is great and spacious; There are no number of reptiles there, small and great fish;

26 There ships sail, there is a serpent created by You to rejoice in the sea.

27 Everyone expects You to give them food in their season.

28 You give to them, and they receive; you stretch out your hand, and everyone is satisfied with the blessings;

29 You will turn away Your face, and they will be dismayed; take away their breath, and they will disappear, and return to the dust of the earth;

30 You will send Your Spirit, and other creatures will arise, and You will renew the face of the earth.

31 May the glory be to the Lord forever! The Lord will rejoice in His works.

32 He looks at the earth, and it shakes; touches the mountains and smokes.

33 I will sing to the Lord all the days of my life; I will sing to my God as long as I exist.

34 May my prayer conversation be pleasing to Him, and I will rejoice in the Lord!

35 Let sinners and lawless people disappear from the face of the earth, let them be no more! Bless the Lord, my soul!

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen

Alleluia, 104

1 Glorify the Lord and call on His name; make known His deeds to the nations!

2 Sing praises to Him and sing praises to Him; tell us His wonders!

3 Boast in His holy name! Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!

4 Seek the Lord and be strong; seek Him continually!

5 Remember the wonders He performed, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth!

6 The descendants of Abraham are His faithful servants, the sons of Jacob are His chosen ones.

7 He is the Lord our God; He executes judgment throughout the whole earth.

8 He remembers forever His covenant, the word that He commanded thousands of generations,

9 What did He bequeath to Abraham, what did He swear to Isaac?

10 And He made His oath a commandment to Jacob, and an everlasting covenant to Israel,

11 Saying: “I will give you the land of Canaan, your inheritance and inheritance!”

12 While they were still in small numbers, in small forces, they were strangers in the land,

13 And they passed from tribe to tribe, from one kingdom to another nation,

14 He did not give them offense to anyone, and he denounced the kings who oppressed them:

15 “Touch not My anointed, and do not harm My prophets!”

16 And He called a famine upon their land; I destroyed every grain of grain.

17 He sent a man ahead of them; Joseph was sold into slavery.

18 The shackles crushed his feet, and the iron pierced his body.

19 But behold, his interpretation came true; the word of the Lord illuminated him.

20 The king sent servants to break his chains, and the ruler of the people set him free.

21 He made him ruler over his house and ruler over all his possessions,

22 So that Joseph would admonish the king's nobles, as he admonished himself, and so that he would make his elders wise.

23 And Israel entered Egypt, and Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.

24 And the Lord increased His people, and they became stronger than their enemies.

25 He caused the hearts of the Egyptians to hate His people, to commit deceit against His servants.

26 He sent Moses His servant, Aaron His chosen one;

27 He told them about His coming signs and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 And He brought darkness and darkness upon the Egyptians, for they rejected His words.

29 He turned their waters to blood and killed the fish in them.

30 Their earth boiled with frogs; they even entered the treasuries of kings.

31 He commanded, and dog flies and harmful gnats flew into all their borders;

32 Instead of rain, He sent hail and fire upon them, scorching their land;

33 And he smote their vineyards and their fig trees, and destroyed all the trees within their borders.

34 He commanded, and locusts and caterpillars appeared, there was no number of them;

35 And they ate up all the grass of their land, and devoured all the fruit of their land.

36 And He struck down all the firstborn of their land, the firstfruits of all their labors.

37 And he brought out his people, enriched with silver and gold; and there was no sickness in their tribes.

38 Egypt was glad at their departure, for the fear of them had come upon it.

39 The Lord spread the cloud as a covering over them, and sent fire to give them light at night.

40 They asked, and quails came, and He satisfied His people with the bread of heaven;

41 He opened the stone, and waters flowed out, and a waterless river flowed in the desert;

42 For He remembered His holy word, which He spoke to Abraham His servant.

43 And He brought out His people in joy, His chosen ones in gladness.

44 And he gave them the lands of the Gentiles; they inherited the fruits of the labor of the nations,

45 So that they may keep His commandments and keep His law.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen
