In 1907, in the village of Dolgoye, in the Ryazan province, another church holiday was celebrated. From the very morning, ordinary people tried to get into the church in order to offer prayer and listen to the sermon. One peasant came to take communion with his three-year-old daughter in his arms.
The girl jumped out of her father's arms and ran straight to the altar. The two priests who rushed after her were late and only sighed: “The girl is in the altar. We will have to re-consecrate the church.” This is how Schema-nun Antonia visited the temple for the first time.
Schema-nun Antonina in the last years of her life
After the girl was taken out of the altar, an old priest approached her and said: “Don’t touch the child - she should be an altar attendant!”
Starting from the age of seven, the future elder sang in the church choir. She grew up as a child who was a sincere believer, but she suffered a difficult fate. The girl was unlucky in her marriage; she spent many years in one of the camps and was forcibly treated in a mental hospital.
However, all this time, Antonia did not stop praying fervently, served in various churches and helped people with deeds and prayer.
Until the very last day people came to her. Girls and women with infertility especially often turned to the old woman. The day of Anastasia’s death became truly sad; many believers gathered for the funeral, and pilgrims still come to the burial place.
Mother Antonia's rule has become a real panacea for many girls and women.
Schema-nun Antonia suffers misfortunes in her young years
Until recently, there were still people in Russia who saw several eras in a row. They found the Tsar-Father, lived their lives in the Soviet Union and went to heaven in the Russian Federation. Schema nun Antonia, in the world Anastasia Yakovlevna Kaveshnikova, is one of them.
She was born on December 4, 1904, even before the 1905 revolution and long before the Bolsheviks came to power.
December 4, 1904
on this day Anastasia Kaveshnikova was born, Elder Antonia
The nun's family was Christian, and she attended church from an early age. At the age of six, Anastasia participated in the life of the parish - she sang in the church choir.
Once upon a time, the church of the village of Dolgoe was visited by the blind elder Yakov (Myshinsky). The seer noted Nastya and told her not to get married, because a different fate was in store for her.
The village of Dolgoye, Dankovsky district, Lipetsk region (formerly Dankovsky district, Ryazan province) was founded in early 1657
But young Anastasia did not listen to the advice of the wise old man and got married at eighteen. At first everything was not so bad, but gradually the situation began to worsen. The nun's husband did not have a good disposition and often beat his wife.
This did not last long, and soon the marriage broke up - the husband left his wife and three sons. The 20s of the last century passed.
Nastya's fate from the mid-twenties to the 40s is unknown. However, with God’s help and the help of relatives, the woman was able to raise and raise children. All this time she worked and did not stop attending church.
The temple in honor of the Archangel Michael in the village of Dolgy is significant in that the future schema-nun Antonia (Kaveshnikova), a famous Orthodox ascetic of the second half of the twentieth century, sang in the choir there.
The next date in Anastasia’s fate turned out to be tragic. In 1942 she was arrested and convicted. Until 1946 she remained in the Tagil camp of the NKVD. After her release from Tagillag, the woman was placed in a psychiatric hospital.
The sources do not contain precise information about why. However, information slipped through that the diagnosis was unequivocal - “for faith in Christ.” Whether Antonia was actually ill is never mentioned.
All this time, the relatives do not leave the future altar girl. In 1950, one of the sons seeks amnesty for his mother. Antonia Kaveshnikova leaves the hospital. After just two years, my mother receives group 3 disability.
This allowed her to no longer fear going back to the hospital. This can be regarded as nothing other than the blessing of the Mother of God.
The wise elder Kuksha of Odessa became Anastasia’s first spiritual mentor
Schema-nun Antonia
(1904–1998)
Schema-nun Antonia (Anastasia Yakovlevna Kaveshnikova) was born on December 12, 1904 in the village of Dolgoye, Dankovsky district, Ryazan province.
From the memoirs of Schema-nun Antonia: “My mother sowed love for God and people in me, and my father took me to church when I was still very little. I was two and a half years old... There was some kind of holiday... I looked around and, I remember, my father jumped from his hands and straight into the altar through the side doors... Two people in robes came up to me and said: “Now we need to consecrate the church, the female sex flew in.” Out of nowhere, an old priest appeared there, so he said: “Don’t touch her, she will be an altar girl.” His words came true: I’ve been going to church for fifteen years now, and the priest communes me at the altar.”
(According to God’s providence, on March 28, 1967, Anastasia, with the blessing of Patriarch Alexei 1, was tonsured into a mantle with the name Appollinaria, and immediately after tonsure she became an altar attendant in the St. Nicholas Church in Moscow, where she had previously sung.)
From the age of six, Nastya sang in the church choir. One day, the blind, perspicacious old man Yakov (Myshinsky) predicted that a bitter fate awaited Anastasia, and later advised the girl not to get married. However, at the age of eighteen, Nastya got married... The elder’s predictions began to come true: family life did not work out. Her husband, who severely beat Anastasia, soon left her with three sons. During the years of unbelief from 1942 to 1946, she had to endure all the hardships of camp life (Tagillag NKVD). After her release, she was subject to forced treatment “from her faith in Christ” in psychiatric hospitals.
In 1950, her son Vasily managed to rescue her from the hospital. In 1952, Anastasia Yakovlevna received group 3 disability, thanks to which she avoided repeated arrests. She openly visited churches, made pilgrimages to holy places, preached, and distributed handwritten prayers to believers...
In 1953, Anastasia Yakovlevna became the spiritual daughter of Elder Kuksha (1875–1964). The Elder blessed Anastasia Yakovlevna to give out prayers “for babies killed in the womb.” With the blessing of her spiritual father, Anastasia sang and directed the church choir for ten years for free, and earned her living by reading the psalter for the dead in church at night.
From the memoirs of one of the singers of the church in the name of the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow”: “She was a very talented regent. She knew the service like no one else could... Mother did everything with prayer, collectedly, calmly.”
In 1964, Anastasia became the spiritual daughter of Elder Amphilochius. In the sixties, the elder secretly tonsured Anastasia into the ryasophore while maintaining her former name. Since 1971, after the death of Elder Amphilochius, the nun was spiritually cared for by Elder Savva.
For her humble bearing of sorrows, great faith and love for people, the martyr for the faith was awarded the gifts of the Holy Spirit: insight, grace-filled prayer, through which hundreds of people were healed.
From the memoirs of a young priest: “I asked: “Tell me something important, how should I live, how can I be useful?” Mother looked at me and quietly said two short and surprisingly bright words: “Love people.” And these words were spoken with such feeling, with such understanding that they sank into my soul for the rest of my life...
The old woman instructed: “You must always go through the narrow gates. Be patient! Do you think I didn’t know that they would persecute me? I knew, but I had to be patient. It is necessary for people to say bad things about me, then it will be according to God...”
The righteous woman advised everyone to pray for those who hate and offend. She even advised one of her spiritual daughters to order a prayer service for the “homewrecker.”
From the memories of spiritual children: “More than once, through mother’s prayers, children were born to those who were not fertile. Once, in response to such a request, N. Mother gave her some kind of root, and N. gave birth... The Lord gave her knowledge of the healing power of plants... She knew the properties of roots and herbs well, and collected them for His Holiness Patriarch Pimen... But still the main remedy her prayer was for illnesses, because in many cases what was asked was fulfilled without any roots ... "
“Mother said that children often get sick because the marriage was not consummated, and advised them to get married immediately... She called on women to pray for lost children with tears, with great heartfelt crying... To one of the women who came to her, mother named the number of abortions she had performed herself and her mother, and told her how to pray. After completing the rule, the condition of her seriously ill son improved, and other sorrows that the visitor spoke about began to subside.”
Among those who turned to the elder for advice was the abbess of the Tolga monastery, Mother Varvara. She invited the elder to move to the Tolgsky monastery. In February 1990, mother moved to the monastery, where in March 1990, with the blessing of Patriarch Pimen, she accepted the schema. The tonsure of the nun Apollinaria into the schema with the name Anthony in honor of St. Anthony of Pechora was performed by Abbot Benedict. From the memoirs of the elder’s spiritual children: “After accepting the schema, mother changed noticeably. Previously, she instructed and taught a lot and often. Now prayer became the main content of her life. The word becomes short, but very precise and capacious. How many people received help through the prayers of the old schema-monster!”
From the memoirs of Schema nun Antonia’s spiritual son, Vyacheslav Medushevsky: “My close friends’ daughter got stuck in drug addiction. Is it possible to describe the grief of the parents? The treatment had no effect, death seemed inevitable. Mother’s prayer destroyed another obsession: the girl has not taken drugs for 10 months, she entered college, the strengthened faith of her parents leads them to an increasingly church-going life... The future, both the invisible and the will of God, was revealed to Mother; the advice was illuminated with suddenly revealed spiritual clarity. For Mother there were no restrictions on the topic, specificity and complexity of the subject of conversation... For many seeking to fulfill the will of God, she determined the path and stages of their entire lives... The second stage in my knowledge of Mother opened with shock: she knows not only thoughts, but also the innermost the reality of my heart, spiritual sensations, quality and state of prayer! In the spiritual world of light, where Mother lived, there are no bodily boundaries between people. Here's how it came to light. A person thirsting for spiritual life regretfully feels the distance between information about prayer gleaned from books and prayer itself. The elder constantly lives in the world of prayer, which the Lord hears and affirms; he can become a teacher of prayer because he receives the gift of seeing the hearts of people in the Holy Spirit...
Mother, with her prayerful spirit, suddenly shed knowledge into my heart, revealing in it a despondency that I did not even suspect about. And, apparently, she prayed for me, because the prayer suddenly became stronger... Mother’s unceasing prayer life with the Lord was evidenced in her every gesture and word, quiet and humble, but filled from within with warm and bright power. And her eyes: clear, pure, full of light, love and insight; there was nothing in them that was not from the Lord. That is why they remained young until the very hour of her departure...
The greatest miracle for me turned out to be connected with entering Mother’s love, when her sacrificial character was revealed to me. We saw every day the most painful feat of her love. The sorrows that accompanied her all her life overshadowed the last ten months of her earthly life. This time they were associated with a misunderstanding by those around her of the blessed cross of the schema-nice, with an attempt to isolate her from her spiritual children and everyone who came to her for consolation and prayer. In January 1998, Mother’s cell was closed to visitors. It was allowed to approach her only on the street or in church, where she was brought on Sundays and holidays. Later, living conditions worsened, she was moved to another cell. Being in constant prayer, she endured everything with meekness, humility and patience. Elderly people, who have almost no flesh left, find it excruciatingly difficult to sit in a wheelchair, experiencing pain from the pressure of the bones. And Mother’s kidneys also hurt. Weak in body, but not in spirit, after long Lenten services she waited until there were no people left in the church, in order to receive those who wished in silence. Since the fall, I have taken it more often in the yard, in the cold, on Sundays and weekdays. Foreseeing in spirit the arrival of people to her, she already met them on the street. This was her Calvary. In a wheelchair, in the wind, wrapped in a blanket, with a debilitating cough, she prayed for the suffering and sick people who were waiting for her and kneeling before such a great self-sacrifice of a 94-year-old woman for the love of Christ. The last hours of life and death place a special stamp on the entire life lived. For the last four days, Mother did not eat anything and took communion every day... We saw this repentance of unimaginable depth on the last day of her life, a few hours before her death. The dying Mother, awaiting the last communion in her life, endured the most painful physical condition with extraordinary patience, her thoughts already standing before the Lord; looking around the icons, she repeated: “Lord, forgive me, forgive me. God!" - with an intonation of sincerity and childish spontaneity that cannot be forgotten. When sick children were brought to her, she blessed them with the usual, and at the same time, with some special attention. After communion and the priest’s sermon, already in the corridor in front of the cell, Mother blessed us who came to her, peering with a long, intent gaze. Even then, pre-mortem pulmonary edema began. Returning to Moscow in the evening, we learned about her death. The meaning of Mother’s hidden words about herself became clear... In August, when asked whether she would be moved to a better place, whether she would be allowed to visit her, she answered: “Everything will be fine, they will move her, she will be allowed...” - “And when?” - "After two months". Two months later, the Lord moved Mother to Himself, to His best world. Now everyone can visit Mother.
His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Alexy II, to whom one of us informed by office telephone about the death of Mother Antonia on the day of her burial, conveyed to his spiritual children that he himself would pray for her for 40 days and on the very next day of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos he would remember her in the temple... We pray: remember, Lord, her love for us, the cross of Thy love that she bore until the very hour of death, forgive her sins, rest in the villages of bliss with the saints, grant and increase the grace of her prayerful intercession for all people!
Elder Antonia died on October 11, 1998 in the Nikolaevsky Chernoostrovsky monastery in the city of Maloyaroslavets, Kaluga region. The number of pilgrims to her grave in the small monastery cemetery increases day by day. People stand here for a long time, light candles, pray and, by their faith, receive what they ask for.
Lord, rest the soul of Schema-nun Anthony, rest with the saints, and through her prayers save us!
Antonia Kaveshnikova serves in different churches
The resulting disability allowed Antonia to openly visit temples and holy places, conduct pilgrimages to shrines and even preach. The treasured certificate became her shield from the clutches of the Soviet punitive system.
Often the old woman distributed leaflets with prayers written on them from the smoke to the believers. After a year of her wanderings, God’s providence brought Nastya to Elder Kuksha in Odessa. Father saw the light in his soul and blessed Nastasya Yakovlevna to read prayers “for the babies killed in the womb” and sing in the church choir.
For 10 years, mother not only sang, but also led this choir. Antonia did not receive a salary for her work - she refused it. She lived on a small pension and by reading the psalter for the dead at night.
Schema of Mother Antonia, May 2010
In 1964, fate brings Anastasia together with Father Amphilochius. The priest became the woman’s spiritual mentor and secretly tonsured her into the ryassophore. At the same time, she retained her former worldly name.
The old priest’s prediction, made back in 1907, came true only in the second half of the 20th century. In 1967, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Alexy I personally tonsured Anastasia as a nun, with the name Appollinaria.
1967
this year Alexy I, Patriarch of All Rus', tonsured Anastasia a nun with the name Appollinaria
Immediately after her tonsure, mother took the place of an altar attendant in the Moscow St. Nicholas Church. By the way, it was in this church that she led the choir for the last ten years.
Gradually, the fame of her healing gift spread throughout the country. People came to her from all cities of the Soviet Union, some for advice and some for help. Women who had problems giving birth to children especially sought her out. In those years, Mother Antonia's rule about luring out babies appeared.
Alexy the First personally tonsured Antonia a nun in 1967, after which she became an altar attendant in St. Nicholas Cathedral
The experience of Mother Antonia revealed the unity of the entire fullness of the Church
On December 2, 2022, on the day of remembrance of St. Philaret, Metropolitan of Moscow, an exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the abbess of Mother Anthony (Troilina), who was once elevated by the saint to the abbotship, opened at the Alekseevsky Stavropegic Monastery in Moscow. As the organizers note, this event took place “obviously not without the participation” of the ruler, glorified among the host of saints. This exhibition is a visible unity of the Heavenly and earthly Church: archpastors and spiritual fathers, mother abbess and abbots, monastics and laity - both our predecessors and those who now struggle and work.
Saint Philaret (Drozdov), even after his death, has special care for those who were close to him. The story is known of how in our days he twice appeared to his distant relative Vladimir Petrovich Sedov with orders to take care of his mother’s grave, which was devastated under Soviet rule, at the Pyatnitskoye cemetery. Therefore, when last year Abbess Juliania (Kaleda) blessed the daughter of the late Archpriest Dimitry Smirnov, Maria Dmitrievna, to prepare an exhibition in memory of Mother Antonia (Troilina) and she first turned for advice to the Vysoko-Petrovsky Monastery, where wonderful exhibitions had been made more than once, she was so pleased there and answered: “Yes, we need to go and pray at the relics of St. Philaret, and everything will work out!” And indeed, after the prayer at the relics of the saint, not only did everything work out in the best possible way - documents were providentially found in the archives, the necessary specialists appeared, etc. - but also the vernissage, which had to be rescheduled more than once due to the epidemiological situation, eventually took place in memory of St. Philaret himself! And also on the day of remembrance - the 100th anniversary of the birth - of Archpriest Gleb Kaleda, the father of Abbess Juliana, who initiated work on the exhibition. “Those who served God here on earth and have passed on to another world do not abandon their care for those who also try to serve the Lord and His Holy Church and honor the memory of their predecessors,” noted Mother Ksenia (Chernega), the abbess of the Alekseevsky Monastery, who opened the exhibition.
“Where is the way to salvation?”
The future abbess Antonia was born on May 23, 1821 into the family of merchant II guild Nikolai Ivanovich Troilin and his wife Maria Vasilievna, who lived in their house in the Arbat part of Moscow. The baby was baptized according to the tradition of those times on the eighth day after birth in the Church of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God on Plyushchikha. The name was given Alexandra. She was the fourth and youngest child in the family. In the third year of her life, Maria Vasilievna became orphaned and died. The girl was raised by governesses, then for some time she studied at a prestigious boarding school, which, by the way, paid great attention to the moral and religious education of its students - to the boarding school, as Mother Antonia herself later recalled, the miraculous Iveron Icon of the Mother of God was brought annually for prayers. Among her fellow students, Alexandra became close friends with L.I., also famous for her asceticism. Starynkevich. Both of them were in poor health, and Alexandra completed her studies at home in her last grades. Having received an excellent education, the future nun was not satisfied with worldly life and avoided secular entertainment. Her restless spirit searched and did not find the meaning of existence. Unfortunately, the father, who dearly loved his daughter, protected her from communication with clergy, even with her cousin, the former abbess of one of the Saratov monasteries, who visited their home from time to time on occasions of visits to Moscow. Not finding answers to the questions that tormented her, Alexandra experienced a nervous breakdown when, in a fever, she would not calm down, asking: “Where is the way to salvation?”
Soon she had a dream: “One night she imagined... that a carriage drove up, from which a tall woman came out, of a majestic appearance, in a monastic dress, as if an abbess with a diamond cross on her chest and with a staff in her hand, supported by two nuns. The bedroom door opened, and the majestic abbess approached her bed and put a ring on her hand, saying: “The Holy Great Martyr Barbara sends this to you.” The dream was so clear that the one who woke up could not forget the abbess’s facial features... And three months later she saw her in reality - it was the abbess of the Borodino Monastery, Mother Maria (Tuchkova). Nineteen-year-old Alexandra threw herself at her feet with a request to be accepted as one of the sisters of the monastery. In order to somehow tame her haste and foreseeing her father’s disagreement, mother advised the girl to just live at the monastery for two weeks. Alexandra agreed, although she immediately cut her hair according to the custom of that time and changed her secular attire to a dark monastic one.
When, after the allotted time of her stay in the monastery, she returns to Moscow to her father, she will again change into a light dress, put on a hat, but immediately become ashamed: “Why did I change my clothes? I never deceived my father and now I don’t want to hide from him the change that has happened to me.” So he will go into his parents’ house again, all dressed in black and wearing a headscarf. After persuasion to let her go to the monastery, her father first decides to seek advice from Metropolitan Philaret (Drozdov), and, having received the blessing of the archpastor, which decides her fate, he agrees.
“Commemorate your entry into a new life, a life of self-denial, with a feat...”
Metropolitan Philaret subsequently kept a vigilant eye on the one to whom he gave his holy blessing for monasticism. I delved into all her sorrows. Accustomed to playing music since childhood, the novice missed music, which she once confessed to her spiritual mother, Abbess Maria (Tuchkova), and she, who always took a novice with her to meetings with the Metropolitan, conveyed this complaint to His Eminence in her presence, asking for permission to buy a piano in monastery... To which the bishop responded, already addressing the novice directly: “Having renounced the world, you will mark your entry into a new life, a life of self-denial, with a feat - sacrifice your love for music to God, refuse to play. Do you agree to such a sacrifice for the sake of God?” “I agree,” said Sister Antonia, and she religiously fulfilled the vow she had made until the end of her life. But she continued to love music, believing that it had a beneficial effect on the souls of the sisters. Throughout the 36 years of her abbotship, she cared a lot about the organization of the monastery choirs, so that subsequently a great connoisseur, Bishop Nikolai (Kasatkin), Archbishop of Japan, even came specially to the monastery she managed to listen to choir singing. Here, in the Alekseevsky Monastery - in the last place of Abbess Antonia's abbot - she had a harmonium for teaching singers, although Mother herself never touched the keys.
The exhibition now presented at the Alekseevsky Monastery traces the entire life path of Abbess Antonia. So she entered the Borodino Monastery, where she became not only the abbess’s closest assistant, the monastery’s clerk, delving into all the construction projects started by the head of the monastery [1], but also a truly spiritual daughter of Mother Maria. She said about her: “I didn’t really feed her with milk,” noting the almost childish joy of her child to carry out both instructions and bring to life with all the strength of his soul the instructions and covenants of his spiritual mother. During the first years of her novitiate, Sister Antonia even lived in a separate small room next to the abbess’s chambers, sharing with her not only all daily labors, but also midnight prayer. “At that hour her son died,” a testimony about Mother Maria is known, “and she remembered until the last day of her life how on the fateful night, when the child’s hands were cold in hers, the piercing ringing of the clock echoed in her heart, like twelve blows of a knife " Together at midnight the abbess and her assistant rose for a long prayer.
Subsequently, when Elder Solomiya, née Voeykova, who lived in the Borodino monastery, died, Mother Maria advised her assistant to move to her cell, as well as to take the girl Varya (later novice Taisia, and then nun Valentina) as her cell attendant. “You, Antonia, take care of your younger sister, teach her; and you, Varya, take care of the peace of Antonia, as the eldest,” the abbess gave instructions, and the sisters lived in the same cell for many years in four monasteries they replaced due to various circumstances or by decrees of the hierarchy: Spaso-Borodinsky, Anosinsky, Strastnoy and Alekseevsky until 1882 - this year nun Valentina was elevated to the rank of abbess and appointed abbess of the Moscow Conception Monastery. Mother Valentina (Boronina) in many ways, when managing the monastery, was guided by her older sister - by that time she had also long been the abbess. By the way, one of the first orders of Mother Valentina in the new place was to purchase violins - she was in solidarity with Mother Antonia regarding the positive influence of music on the souls of the sisters.
“With temptation comes excess”
Under the care of her spiritual mother, Abbess Maria, Sister Antonia lived in the Borodino monastery for the first 11 years of her monastic life. In 1850, on February 24, in the year 29, Antonia was approved by the diocesan authorities, on the proposal of the abbess, as a designated novice of the Borodino Monastery. And two years later, in 1852, Abbess Maria departed to the Lord. For Sister Antonia, this was a time of not only experiencing loss, but also a somewhat strained relationship with the new abbess, Abbess Sergia (in the world, Princess Sofia Vasilievna Volkonskaya, née Princess Urusova). Sister Anthony continued to perform all the same obediences that had been assigned to her earlier, but despite the permission of the diocesan authorities to tonsure the novice Anthony into monasticism, the abbess delayed her tonsure, which was even noticed by Metropolitan Philaret. In order to somehow encourage the one whom he himself had once blessed on the monastic path, the Bishop allowed Sister Antonia to choose her adoptive mother according to her own wishes. However, after this their relationship with Abbess Sergius deteriorated completely. Although the tonsure took place at the Borodino Monastery on September 13, 1858, the only way out of this situation was to transfer nun Antonia to another monastery.
Metropolitan Philaret refused to release the tonsured woman from his diocese, oh, and invited her to move to the Anosin Borisoglebsky Monastery - here, by the way, in those days the Optina elder Anatoly (Potapov) often advised those wishing to become a monk to enter. The transition from a place dear to her, where her spiritual mother rested, to a new, unknown place somewhat frightened Sister Antonia. To support her spirit, someone from her close circle advised her to go and talk to the famous holy fool at that time, Ivan Yakovlevich Koreysha. He predicted further events in the life of Sister Antonia, however, he did it in his own manner so allegorically that at first no one understood anything... The transfer of nun Antonia to the Anosin Boris and Gleb Monastery took place on December 9, 1859. At the request of Metropolitan Philaret, the abbess, abbess Evgenia (Ozerova), is the granddaughter of the founder of the monastery, abbess Evgenia (Meshcherskaya), F.I.’s own aunt. Tyutcheva - received the newcomer very kindly and took careful care of her. Nun Antonia lived for about two years with Sister Taisia, who moved with her from Borodino, without taking close part in the general life of the monastery. On October 15, 1861, she had just been appointed sacristan, but soon news came of the death of the abbess of the Moscow Passionate Monastery, Abbess Paisia...
Not death, but a new ministry
Before this, Mother Antonia had a dream (an entry about it was preserved in the diary of Abbess Eugenia): “I’ll tell you a strange dream that M. Antonia saw. When the construction of her cell was already nearing completion, and she was consoled by the calm and secluded room, she sees in a dream Metropolitan Philaret, who tells her that she cannot live in this cell. Antonia, waking up, was confused, thinking that these words predicted her death, and told me what she had seen. Of course, I tried to calm her down as best I could, saying that she shouldn’t believe in dreams and that Vladyka had not directly indicated her death. Not much time passed, I received an order from the saint to appear with M. Anthony in Moscow. She was terribly frightened, not understanding the reason for the demand, and when she appeared, he announced that M. Antonia should be the abbess of the Passionate Monastery. Her dedication took place a week later...”
Although initially amazed by such an unexpected appointment for her, nun Antonia, meek and humble, burst into tears and, falling at the archpastor’s feet, began to beg him: “Relieve me, Holy Master, from such great obedience, I myself do not know how to do it as I should.” manage, and you want to put me in charge of the monastery; Besides, my physical strength is weak and my health is poor.” “And here in Moscow there are many skilled doctors,” answered Metropolitan Philaret with a smile, “they will improve your strength and health,” and further noted: “It belongs to the authorities to judge whether you are capable of the obedience assigned to you; It’s your job to obey, and ours to see; prepare to be ordained as abbess.”
On October 22, 1861, on the day of the celebration of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, as predicted by the then-ununderstood Ivan Yakovlevich Koreysha, nun Anthony, in the 41st year of her life, was promoted by Metropolitan Philaret at the Trinity Metropolitan Compound to the rank of abbess and appointed abbess of the Moscow Passion Church monastery Until the end of her days, Mother Anthony honored the memory of the saint, who blessed her to become a monk and subsequently assigned her to the arduous service of abbot, constantly resorting to his advice and using his instructions. “Your holy word is law for me - I accept it with all reverence. In all my actions to manage the monastery entrusted to me and in all my mental and physical infirmities, I am strengthened only by invoking the holy prayers of Your Eminence,” she wrote to the bishop.
“Let us be prepared and not be embarrassed...”
The first impressions made on Abbess Anthony by the Passionate Monastery were depressing. But Mother Antonia moved to Strastnaya with two faithful assistants - novices Taisia and Paisia. Metropolitan Philaret, appointing her as abbess, said that she was expected to bring the monastery into proper order. Mother immediately set to work: arranging the cells, repairing the lower church, building a new residential building with an almshouse for the elderly and infirm sisters of the monastery and a refectory for thirty choir sisters... The almshouse was opened at the monastery with the blessing of Metropolitan Philaret at the end of September 1863. The following year, a refectory for singers was opened. Four years later, in 1868 and 1869, the upper church in the name of the Passionate Icon of the Mother of God was overhauled. The following year, 1970, Mother “for her especially diligent care for the improvement of the Passionate Monastery and the exemplary order established in it, as a result of the representation of the diocesan authorities, was most mercifully awarded a pectoral cross issued by the Holy Synod.”
Although, of course, it was not without temptations of all kinds in the new field. Saint Philaret strengthened mother in her abbot bearing the cross: “Why does your spirit waver because an alien wind has come and tilted an alien blade of grass onto your field? The wind has passed; illegal movement rejected; Your field is left alone. Some timidity is not a problem. With it, a person is naturally, without effort or feat, protected from insolence, which would be worse than timidity. And so that timidity is not excessive, in hours of peace you need to arm yourself against moments of war. Let us be prepared and not be dismayed, says the prophet (Ps. 119:60). What should you prepare for? “Through prayer, faith, devotion to the will of God, hope that the Lord will not allow one to be tempted beyond the power of his might, but will create an excess of temptation.”
On December 17, 1870, Mother Ilaria, the abbess of the Moscow Alekseevsky Monastery, reposed in the Lord. At the same time, Abbess Mitrofaniya (Rosen), the famous organizer of the Moscow Intercession community, came to Mother Antonia - she at one time started in the Alekseevsky Monastery and then suddenly started talking about who would be appointed to take the place of the deceased in the Alekseevsky Monastery... Mother Antonia did not I wanted to talk about this topic. “The matter of appointment is the work of God,” she answered, “and of the authorities who fulfill Divine plans.” Then Mother Antonia sees in a dream, by that time three years already, the deceased Metropolitan Philaret, he, too, like Abbess Mitrofaniya, suddenly asks: “Antonia, what do you think about the Alekseevsky Monastery”?
“This is a matter for the authorities, holy Master,” she answers. “Without you, Antonia, the matter will not work out,” the saint predicted to her...
When the next morning Mother Antonia was telling this dream to novice Taisiya, a messenger arrived from the Right Reverend Vicar Leonid, Bishop of Mozhaisk, with a letter in which he invited Abbess Antonia to appear to him “on matters of service.” Having arrived, Mother Antonia heard that Metropolitan Innokenty, then the ruling bishop of Moscow, wanted to transfer her to the Alekseevsky Monastery, and the decree given to her even had a justification: since a cemetery had been built around the Alekseevsky Monastery, where many noble Muscovites and their relatives were buried they come there to remember the deceased; an abbess is needed there who could communicate with distinguished guests. This transfer took place on February 4, 1871.
Spiritual uplift leads to the flourishing of all forms of service of the monastery
All these decrees, historical views of the monasteries, and plans for their reconstruction are painstakingly collected on the stands and display cases presented at the exhibition. Having taken over the management of the Alekseevsky Monastery in February 1871, the newly appointed abbess already in May of the same year, on the Feast of the Holy Spirit, in the presence of His Eminence Leonid, laid the foundation stone for a large two-story building, and on November 21 it was already consecrated by Metropolitan Innocent. This first building, erected by Abbess Antonia, was to serve as the beginning of a hostel, the principles of which were introduced by Mother into the monastery. On the lower floor of the building there was a kitchen and a common meal for the monastics, and on the upper floor there were workshops: gold embroidery, painting and bookbinding.
Mother Antonia carefully took care of strengthening the spirit of the sisters and closely monitored the strict attendance at divine services and the fulfillment of cell rules. She arranged for the sisters an extensive, constantly replenished library and introduced the reading of the works of the holy fathers not only at meals, but also during obediences, rightly believing that spiritual uplift leads to the flourishing of all other forms of service of the monastery.
Gold embroidery was especially developed in the Alekseevsky monastery. Even during her lifetime as a novice at the Spaso-Borodinsky Monastery, Abbess Anthony had great love and zeal for handicrafts. Almost all the time free from prayers and the activities entrusted by Mother Maria, she spent in embroidering various things for church use, and somehow did not abandon these works, even when she was already an abbess, so she was able to achieve the highest skill, which in turn shared with her students. In the Alekseevsky Monastery, under Mother Antonia, masterpieces of gold embroidery art were created, among them the covers donated to the shrine with the relics of St. Savva of Zvenigorod and St. Sergius are known (these saints were especially revered by Mother Antonia, they repeatedly helped her) - the last cover was embroidered for the 500th anniversary Trinity-Sergius Lavra; also, of course, a cover was embroidered on the tomb of Metropolitan Philaret. For the Gethsemane monastery of the Lavra, the sisters made an amazing Shroud. The nuns of the monastery created many covers on the relics of the saints of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra; their products were also transferred to many poor monasteries of the Russian Empire.
For the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II, the craftswomen of the Alekseevsky Monastery embroidered eagles for the royal place in the throne room. They received a lot of orders from all over the country. Mother Antonia, who always cared for those in need, spent her gratitude for her unsurpassed work in the form of generous donations on charity.
Charity and works of mercy unite the best people of the era
When the situation in the Balkans became more complicated in the 1860s and 1870s, a Slavic charitable society was created in Russia, which took upon itself the responsibility of housing South Slavic youth in our country. Girls began to look for shelter at women's monasteries, and in Moscow they turned to Abbess Antonia with this. So, in the very first year of her service at the Alekseevsky Monastery, in the fall of 1871, Mother Antonia opened a monastery shelter for South Slavic girls, surrounding children deprived of everything dear and close with real maternal care. It was difficult for southerners to endure our harsh climate, but mother did everything to maintain their health - she took care of both their physical and spiritual well-being. In addition, girls at the monastery were specially trained according to the program of primary city schools.
Then, when the Balkan issue was resolved, a shelter school for 17 girls was opened at the monastery (in memory of the deliverance of Their Imperial Majesties from the threatened danger on October 17, 1888, when the royal family miraculously survived the royal train crash near Kharkov). The monastery school-orphanage accepted “both orphans and daughters of the poorest members of the clergy of the Moscow diocese.” Some of the pupils - five or six people at a time - were sent to the care of Mother Antonia by the Elizabethan Charitable Society, which was under the patronage of Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna. Mother Antonia was familiar with almost all the people of the capital of that time, so in the exhibition that opened you can find many portraits of outstanding representatives of both the church hierarchy and the pious part of secular society of those times.
Abbess Antonia actively participated in many charitable projects - she supported churches and institutions of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in the Holy Land, donated to the Japanese, Altai and Kyrgyz missions, collected funds for transfer to numerous monasteries, both in Russia and abroad - from the latter , on the one hand, to the most revered, and on the other, to the more needy. She actively contributed to the work of the Orthodox missionary society. She communicated closely with Athonite monks, including helping in collecting donations. In the Alekseevsky Monastery, by the will of the deceased, the organizer of the Athos Chapel in Moscow, the hieromonk of the Svyatogorsk Russian Panteleimon Monastery Arseny (Minin) was buried. In 1892, the rector of the Athos chapel, Hieromonk Aristoclius, now glorified as a saint, donated to the Alekseevsky Monastery an exact copy of the miraculous icon “Quick to Hear” from the Russian Athos monastery.
Mother Antonia took an incessant part in caring for sick prisoners in Moscow prisons, as well as for wounded Russian soldiers. During the Russian-Turkish War of 1877–1878, infirmary tents were prepared for the Red Cross Society in the workshops of the monastery; Almost all the sisters spent most of their free time preparing lint, a common dressing material at that time. They were sent to the front to distribute the Gospel books, as well as tea, sugar and other products. And when the wounded were brought to Moscow, the sisters of the Alekseevsky Monastery not only supplied them with everything they needed, but also looked after them, wrote letters to their relatives and friends under their dictation, and read books of spiritual content to the soldiers.
The main result of all affairs is love
With all this varied service, mother did not abandon, of course, her activities for the internal and external improvement of the Alekseevsky Monastery. She was very attentive to the sisters of her monastery, always sensitively responding to their needs - both spiritual and purely everyday. She constantly gave everyone some gifts - to the amazement of those receiving them, they covered the shortfall that existed at that very moment. She also gave books that were helpful to the soul - targeted, knowing how to nourish and support the soul of this sister now. Many who knew Mother testified to her gift of foresight. In her manner she was extremely simple, sociable, and always tried to console everyone. And this tenderness and tenderness of relationships made the monastery an oasis, where everyone who came could be imbued with living water (John 4:10).
Mother Antonia, of course, provided special care to the novices, educating them primarily by her example. She often repeated to the young: “Do not be idle, idleness is the mother of all vices.” The abbess’s closest assistant, nun Leonida (Ushakova), wrote: “All the youth in our monastery are under the direct supervision of mother and mine and spend most of the time with us. I’ll tell you frankly: it’s impossible to give more attention and care than our mother gives to new sisters; God only grant that the young sisters turn out to be on good earth and live in the monastery for the glory of God and for the consolation of Mother Abbess, who loves them all like the natural mother of her children.”
As usual, Mother Antonia worked hard on the construction and restoration work of the monastery. In 1874, she warmed up the vast monastery Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which seven years later would also be elegantly painted and decorated with a rich gilded iconostasis. In 1878, the abbess laid the foundation for a new two-story stone building with an almshouse and a hospital and a small church attached to them. In 1889, she updated the decoration of the Church of St. Alexius, the Man of God. Under mother, the Akathist to the Heavenly Patron of the monastery was compiled and published, and a number of books about the history of the Alekseevsky Monastery were prepared and published.
The majestic church in the name of All Saints, built on the additional monastery territory she acquired, is recognized as a worthy crown of all the arduous cares of Abbess Anthony. Knowing about mother’s idea, the first “stone” (a brick-shaped case with collected initial funds placed inside) was presented to Abbess Antonia by her many admirers on October 22, 1886, on the day of her anniversary. On August 20, 1889, a massive gilded cross was already installed on the newly built temple, and in August of the following year the bells were raised to the bell tower. When the decoration was completed, on June 30, 1891, the ruling Metropolitan Ioannikis consecrated the All Saints Church of the Alekseevsky Monastery. Thanks to mother’s tireless efforts, the monastery was transformed and prospered in every sense. By order of the Highest, the monastery was given first-class status.
And yet, the main result of Mother Antonia’s activity is the love that she gained not only in her community (from which, by the way, came many abbess who headed monasteries throughout the state [2]), but also, without exaggeration, from everyone people of God. When Mother reposed in the Lord on October 5, 1897, the entire Orthodox Moscow came to her coffin for farewell, people also came from other cities and states. The Metropolitan, who read the Gospel over the body of the deceased, could not hold back his tears, as many of those gathered also cried.
Both the clergy and the laity turned to Mother, as an old woman already wise from experience, for advice. She maintained friendly relations and corresponded with many prominent church figures of her time, such as Patriarch Nicodemus (Tsintzonis) of Jerusalem, Metropolitan Michael (Jovanovic) of Serbia, Archbishop Leonid (Krasnopevkov) of Yaroslavl, Metropolitan Platon (Gorodetsky) of Kiev, and Archbishop Alexy of Lithuania ( Lavrov-Platonov) and others. Many of the ascetics close to her were subsequently glorified by the Church as saints - Saints Philaret of Moscow and Ignatius (Brianchaninov), Saints Anthony of Radonezh and Aristocles of Athos, Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Nicholas of Japan, Saint Righteous John of Kronstadt.
Eternal memory to Mother Antonia. With her prayers, may the All-Merciful Savior strengthen today’s workers in God’s field.

Mother Antonia accepts the schema
Until 1990, mother served in her church. Rivers of pilgrims flocked here from the farthest corners of the country. Mother helped everyone, blessed and gave advice and instructions.
However, Anastasia gradually began to lose strength. Therefore, she made a strong-willed decision and went further in her service to God.
Anastasia Yakovlevna left St. Nicholas Church in February 1990. She moved to a remote monastery. Patriarch Pimen personally blessed the old woman to accept the schema. Hegumen Benedict performed the tonsure.
Schema-nun Antonia with her granddaughter Natasha in the St. Nicholas Chernoostrovsky Monastery
He ordained Appollinaria as a schema-nun with the name Anthony, in honor of Anthony of Pechersk. From that moment on, mother began to receive fewer visitors; all her time was spent praying to God.
However, this did not result in fewer people suffering. People came to see Antonia almost every day. She helped everyone, devoted time to everyone. However, over the years, the old woman’s health became worse and worse.
At some point, her legs gave out, then problems with her kidneys began. The nun’s well-being and living conditions did not improve.
Alexy the First personally tonsured Antonia a nun in 1967, after which she became an altar attendant in St. Nicholas Cathedral
Nun Antonia came to life on the third day after death!
“I want to tell everyone: there is no death, there is eternal life. We just need to love each other and be faithful to the Lord... I know one thing: difficult trials await Russia. But if we become kinder, the Lord will forgive us..."
She saw her body from the side - lying on the operating table. Doctors were bustling around. An iron-like device was pressed to his chest. - Discharge! - Professor Psakhes shouted. The body twitched. But she didn't feel any pain. Clinical death - Discharge! - The heart doesn’t respond! - Discharge! More! More! Doctors tried to “start” her heart for almost half an hour. She saw the young assistant put his hand on the professor’s shoulder: “Boris Isaakovich, stop.” The patient is dead. The professor pulled off his gloves and took off his mask. She saw his unhappy face - all covered in beads of sweat. - What a pity! - said Boris Isaakovich. - Such an operation, we worked for six hours... - I’m here, doctor! I am alive! - she screamed. But the doctors did not hear her voice. She tried to grab Psakhes by the robe, but the fabric didn’t even move. The professor left. And she stood near the operating table and looked, spellbound, at her body. The nurses moved him onto a gurney and covered him with a sheet.
She heard them say: “It’s a hassle again: the visitor has passed away, from Yakutia...” “The relatives will take it.” - Yes, she has no relatives, only a young son. She walked next to the gurney. And she screamed: “I’m not dead!” I didn't die! But no one heard her...
Nun Antonia remembers her death with trepidation: “The Lord is merciful!” He loves us all, even the least sinner... Antonia constantly touches her rosary. Her thin fingers tremble. An old tattoo is visible between the thumb and index finger - a barely visible letter “A”. Mother Antonia catches my gaze. I feel embarrassed, as if I had spied something forbidden. “This is a memory of the prison past,” says the nun. - The first letter of my name. According to my passport, I am Angelina. In my youth, what a terrible passion there was... - Tell me! Mother Antonia looks at me searchingly. It feels like she sees right through me. A minute seems like an eternity. What if he becomes silent, what if he refuses? Our meeting was not accidental. I arrived in Pechory, Pskov region, where 73-year-old Mother Antonia lives near the famous Holy Dormition Monastery, having received news from fellow believers: “We have a wonderful nun. I’ve been to the next world.” Mother Antonia, as it turned out, in the recent past was a builder and abbess of a convent in Vyatskie Polyany, Kirov region. After the third heart attack, she was retired due to poor health. She agreed to meet with the Zhizn journalist only after receiving recommendations from clergy. It seems to me that she is sending my request somewhere upstairs. And he gets an answer. My breath stops.
Finally she says: “I’ll tell you.” Without knowing my past, you cannot understand what happened to me after death. What happened, that happened... Mother Antonia makes the sign of the cross. Barely audible, with just his lips, he whispers a prayer. It is felt that returning to the past requires considerable mental and physical effort from her, like a swimmer who has to dive into a seething whirlpool.
— I was born in Chistopol. This is a small town on the Kama River in Tatarstan. Dad, Vasily Rukavishnikov, went to the front as a volunteer. He died in the Bryansk region, among the partisans. Mom, Ekaterina, married again - to an old man, he was thirty years older than her. I hated him so much that I ran away from home. I ended up in an orphanage in Kazan. She said she was an orphan. At the end of the war, I and my friends were trained as motorists and sent to a mine in the Sverdlovsk region. On the very first day we staged a riot - because of harassment. We are youngsters, and the miners there are cunning. On the very first day they groped me... Well, I encouraged my friends to run to Moscow, to comrade Voroshilov. Complain. They got there on the steps of the carriages, they were desperate and brave. We spent the night in Gorky Park, in the bushes, huddling together...
Voroshilov - In the morning, I, as the smallest, looked about twelve years old, went on reconnaissance. I chose a more respectable guy on the bench. She came up and asked how to find Voroshilov. The uncle replied that appointments are made in the reception room of the Supreme Council on Mokhovaya Street. We found this reception area. The whole crowd showed up there. "Where?" - the policeman asked us at the door. - “To Voroshilov!” - "For what?" - “We’ll just tell him that.” The policeman took us to some office. A fat boss is sitting at the table. He looked at us sternly: “Tell me!” And I screamed: “Let’s run, girls! This is not Voroshilov!” We made such a noise that everyone came running. And then I see Voroshilov entering. I knew him from photographs. He took us with him. He ordered me to bring sandwiches and tea. I listened. And he asked: “Do you want to study?” - "Yes!" - “Tell me who, they will give you a referral.” I chose a geological technical school in the Kemerovo region... And then disaster struck - I got involved with a thief. Out of stupidity and hunger. I liked the way they lived: risky, beautiful. I got the tattoo so everyone could see that I was lucky. But we didn’t get to hang out for long: our gang was caught... I didn’t like it in prison.
“When I was released, I made an oath to myself: never to go to jail. She got married and moved to Yakutia - to the village of Nizhny Kuranakh. She worked there at Yakutzoloto. She even deserved an order - the Red Banner of Labor... At first everything was fine in the family, she gave birth to a son, Sasha. Then my husband started drinking. And he beat me out of jealousy. Then he quit. I didn’t grieve - I was so tormented with him! And then the disease struck.
Disease
At first I didn’t attach any importance, but then, as it really bothered me (I lost consciousness several times in broad daylight), I went to the doctors. They examined him and found a tumor in his head. They sent me urgently to Krasnoyarsk, to the clinic of the medical institute. I cry: “Save me! I have only one son, still a schoolboy, and he will remain an orphan!” Professor Psakhes undertook to operate... I knew that the operation was dangerous, I was terribly afraid! Then I remembered about God. Before I was such an atheist, a blasphemer, but then prayer came to mind. Or rather, a spiritual poem that a woman once taught me as a child. It's called "The Dream of the Virgin Mary". About Jesus, all His sufferings. Almost the entire Gospel is retold in these verses... They took me to the operation, and I was trembling and whispering “The Dream of the Virgin Mary.” They gave me anesthesia, they began to drill into my skull... I don’t feel pain, but I hear everything - how they are messing with my head. They operated on for a long time. Then, as if in a dream, I heard people slap my cheeks. “Everyone,” they say, “wake up!”
I woke up from anesthesia, twitched, wanted to get up, get up, and then my heart stopped. And it was as if something had pushed me out of my body - I had slipped out of myself, as if from a dress.”
...The gurney with the lifeless body was taken to a cold room without windows. Angelina stood nearby. I saw how her corpse was transferred to an iron trestle bed. How they pulled off the shoe covers that she had been wearing during the operation. How to tie an oilcloth tag. And they closed the door. The room became dark. Angelina was surprised: she saw it! “To the right of my body lay a naked woman with a hastily sewn cut on her stomach,” the nun recalls. “I was amazed: I had never known her before.” But I felt that she was almost like my own. And what I know is why she died - there was a volvulus. I felt scared in the dead room. She rushed to the door - and walked through it! She went outside and was dumbfounded. The grass, the sun - everything disappeared! I run forward, but there is no way for me. Like tied to the hospital. Came back. I see doctors and patients in the wards and corridors. And they don't notice me. A stupid thought came to my mind: “I am now an invisible man!” It became funny. I started laughing, but no one could hear me. I tried to go through the wall - it worked! She returned to the dead room. I saw my body again. She hugged herself, began to fuss, and cry. But the body does not move. And I began to cry as I had never cried in my life, neither before nor since...
Mother Antonia says: “Suddenly, figures appeared next to me, as if out of thin air. I called them for myself - warriors. In clothes like St. George the Victorious on the icons. Somehow I knew they were coming for me. I started to fight back. I shout: “Don’t touch me, fascists!” They took me by the arms with authority. And a voice inside me said: “Now you’ll find out where you’ll end up!” I was dizzy and plunged into darkness. And such a surge came - passion! The pain and anguish are impossible. I scream, swear all sorts of things, but it hurts more and more. I can’t tell you about this torment - there are simply no such words... And then it seemed like someone was quietly whispering in my right ear: “Servant of God Angelina, stop swearing - they will torment you less...” I fell silent. And it was as if I felt wings behind my back. She flew somewhere. I see a faint light ahead. The little flame is also flying, and I’m afraid to fall behind it. And I feel that someone is also flying to my right, like a small bee. I looked down, and there were many men with gray faces. Hands are raised up, and I hear their voices: “Pray for us!” And before I died, I was an unbeliever. I was baptized as a child, but then I didn’t go to church. I grew up in an orphanage, then we were all raised to be atheists. Only before the operation did I remember about God... I don’t see that “bee” on the right, but I feel it. And I know that she is not evil. I ask her about people: “Who is this and what is this?” And the same gentle voice answers: “These are tartars. Your place is there...” I realized that this is hell.
“Suddenly I felt like I was on Earth.” But everything is brighter, more beautiful, blooming like in spring. And the aroma is wonderful, everything smells fragrant. I was also amazed: there are flowers and fruits on the trees at the same time - it doesn’t happen like that. I saw a massive, carved table, and behind it three men with identical, very beautiful faces, like in the “Trinity” icon. And there are many, many people around. I'm standing there and don't know what to do. Those soldiers who came to the morgue flew up to me and forced me to my knees. I bent my face down to the ground, but the soldiers lifted me up and showed me with gestures that this was not necessary, but that it was necessary for my shoulders to be straight and my head to be bowed to my chest... And the conversation began with those who were sitting at the table. It amazed me: they knew everything about me, all my thoughts. And their words seemed to arise within me: “Poor soul, why have you accumulated so many sins!” And I was terribly ashamed: suddenly I clearly remembered every bad deed of mine, every bad thought. Even those that I have long forgotten. And I suddenly felt sorry for myself. I realized that I didn’t live like that, but I didn’t blame anyone - I ruined my own soul.
“Suddenly I realized how to call the One who sits in the middle, I said: “Lord!” He responded - such heavenly bliss immediately came in his soul. The Lord asked: “Do you want to go to Earth?” - “Yes, Lord!” - “Look around, how good it is here!” He raised his hands up. I looked around - and well, everything started to shine, it was so extraordinarily beautiful! And suddenly something happened inside me that I had never experienced: endless love, joy, happiness entered my heart - all at once. And I said: “Forgive me, Lord, I’m not worthy!” And then the thought of my son came, and I said: “Lord, I have a son, Sashenka, he will be lost without me! An orphan herself, she was not protected from prison. I don’t want him to disappear!” The Lord answers: “You will return, but correct your life!” - "But I dont know how!" - “You’ll find out. There will be people on your way, they will tell you! Pray! - "But how?" - “With heart and thought!”
Future
“And then the future was revealed to me: “You will get married again.” - “Who will take me like this?” - “He will find you himself.” - “I don’t need a husband, I’ve been tormented for the rest of my life with my former drunkard!” “The new one will be a good person, but also not without sin. Don’t leave the North until you send your son to the army. Then you will meet him and marry him. And then you are destined to find your brother.” - “Is he really alive? I haven’t heard from Nikolai since the war!” - “He is disabled, he uses a wheelchair. You will find him in Tataria and you and your husband will move there yourself. Your brother will really need you, you will look after him and bury him yourself.” - “Will everything be okay with your son?” - “Don’t worry about him. When he becomes an adult, he will abandon you. But don't be discouraged. Remember the Lord and tell people about what you saw here! And remember - you promised to improve your life!”
Return
“I woke up already in my body. I felt that I was very cold: I was very cold. She begged: “I’m cold!” And I hear a voice in my right ear: “Be patient, they’ll come for you now!” And sure enough: the door opens, two women come in with a cart - they wanted to dissect me and take me. They came up to me, and I threw off the sheet. They scream and run! Professor Psakhes, who operated on me, comes running with the doctors. She says: “It shouldn’t be that she’s alive.” Shines some kind of light into the pupil. But I see everything, I feel it, but I’m so numb that I can’t say anything, I just blinked my eyes. They brought me to the ward, covered me with heating pads, and wrapped me in blankets. When she warmed up, she told me about what happened to me. Boris Isaakovich Psakhes listened attentively. He said that three days had passed since my death. “While still in the hospital,” says Mother Antonia, “I wrote about what happened to me in the journal Science and Religion.” I don't know if it was printed. Professor Psakhes called my case unique. Three months later he was discharged.
Despair “I went back to Yakutia,” says Mother Antonia. — I got a job at Yakutzoloto again, I was in good standing there. I work and raise my son. I started going to church and praying. Everything happened as it was predicted for me in the next world. She got married and then married her son. And she found her older brother Nikolai, lost from the war, in Tataria. He was alone, disabled in a wheelchair, already very ill. We moved to Nizhnekamsk, closer to my brother. My husband and I were given an apartment there, like northerners. By that time I was already retired. She looked after her brother until his death. She buried and mourned. And then she got sick herself. There was a tingling sensation in my side and a sour feeling in my mouth. I endured it for a long time. Compared to the torments of hell, all earthly ailments are like a pin prick. My son and my husband persuaded me to go to the hospital. From the clinic they sent me for examination to Kazan. And there they found liver cancer. They said that the operation was late, that metastases had started. And such melancholy attacked me - I can’t describe it. A sinful thought came: “Who needs me like this, I’m a burden to everyone!” I went to the bridge to drown myself. And before throwing herself into the water, she decided to say goodbye to the sky. I looked up and saw crosses and domes. Temple. I think: I’ll pray one last time before I drown myself. I came to the cathedral. I stand in front of the icon of the Mother of God and cry. Then the woman who was cleaning the temple noticed my tears, came up and asked what happened to me. She told me about cancer, about the fact that my husband had started drinking, that no one needed me, that my son had his own family and I was a burden to him. That I wanted to kill myself. And the woman says to me: “You need to go to Naberezhnye Chelny right now. A wonderful priest, Archimandrite Kirill from Riga, came there. He heals everything in the world!”
Archimandrite
Mother Antonia shows a photograph of the priest that hangs in her cell. The picture shows a handsome, dignified priest with two crosses on his vestment. “This is my spiritual father,” the nun says affectionately. — Archimandrite Kirill (Borodin). Wonderworker and righteous man. Under Soviet rule, he suffered in prison for his faith. He himself is a doctor by training and has healed many people. In 1998 he departed to the Lord. Father Kirill not only saved my life, he begged for my soul. I then arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny at the address given to me in the church; I didn’t even stop by home in Nizhnekamsk. The queue at the apartment where Father Kirill receives is long. I think I'll have to stand all night. Then the door swings open, the priest comes out and beckons me with his hand: “Mother, come here!” He took me to his place. He put his palm on his head: “Oh, how painful you are!” And suddenly joy came into me - just like then, in the next world before the Lord... I wanted to tell Father Kirill about myself, about what I experienced in the next world, but he stopped me: “I know everything about you!”

Advice and instructions from Schema nun Antonia Kaveshnikova
Schema-nun Antonia's advice and instructions are extremely useful and effective. Many of her spiritual children and monks are guided by them.
- From 00 to 03 o'clock the holy sky is open. A very valuable prayer during these hours. After midnight, it is good to make three great bows with prayer to the Savior, the Mother of God and the Guardian Angel;
- Schema-nun Antonia blessed her spiritual children to teach the prayers in memory: “Our Father,” “Rejoice, Virgin Mary,” “Creed,” the 50th and 90th psalms. I advised you to read the short prayer rule of St. Seraphim of Sarov, and the prayer: “Lord, enlighten my mind, calm my heart, help me in life, deliver me from the evil one”;
- If children are sick, you need to read Psalm 91 and the Lord’s Prayer seven times. If something is serious, you need to read it twelve times;
- If misfortune happens to a person, you need to read Psalm 90;
- If the children are restless or sick, then over the sleeping ones one must read the prayer “Rejoice to the Virgin Mary” forty times and give the children Holy Communion to the Holy Mysteries on three Sundays in a row.

“All your troubles will exist until you pray for your children. Everything in your life will be bad until then,” Mother Antonia said to one of her spiritual children. CONTRACEPTIVE DRUGS ARE ALSO A KIND OF MINI-ABORTION! Mother Antonia said this. For those who used contraceptive drugs (hormonal pills, IUDs, IVF - in vitro fertilization, etc.) - then within a year there can be up to five conceptions, that is, up to five conceived embryos, they can kill through these drugs, through these IUDs . That is, people don’t even know themselves, they may have many more abortions than they think. That’s why Mother Antonia said that if the spouses took contraception, then within a year they could have up to five mini-abortions (let’s say), up to five killed children. That is why Mother Antonia blessed such women to at least five times perform Elder Antonia’s prayer rule GIVEN BY THE VIRGIN This rule allows you to pray for other people who either cannot or do not even want to pray themselves, for mothers, fathers, relatives and friends, then there is atonement for their sins; Both women and men can pray. For those who have used any other means to expel conceptions from the womb using poisons, spirals, etc., perform this penance five times in one year of using these means. For human life begins at conception and any violent termination of it is murder.

The Holy Elder Paisius of the Svyatogorets (died in 1994), whose glorification by the Church of Constantinople awaits the entire Orthodox world, was revealed to the cries of aborted babies asking for prayers for them (see the book about the elder) All modern revelations to elders and elders, not at odds with ancients, discover a commonality in the fact that murdered babies suffer from the darkness that envelops them. After the death of murderous parents, they come to the place of suffering of unbaptized babies. But the Lord, in His mercy, left the murderous parents a way out. Mother Antonia’s rule is PRAYER FOR CHILDREN KILLED IN THE WOMB, they are begged to be born. Mother Antonia herself said that this rule would save Russia, that by begging for the murdered souls of babies, the days of peace on earth would be extended, that the coming 3rd World War would largely be allowed only for the blood of these innocent children. r.b. Sophia is the spiritual daughter of Schema-nun Antonia, about the sins of her birth, cancer passes through, sorrows in the family pass through, drug addiction, drunkenness, but all this must be thoroughly taken and begged for. First mothers, grandmothers, sisters, everyone, not just our own. It is precisely the whole clan that needs to beg. As Mother Schema-nun Antonia said, 14 generations suffer for the murdered babies, 7 from the mother, 7 from the father, BUT MANY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS, they think that they can only beg for their own. Appearance of the Mother of God to Schema-nun Anthony In her youth, Anastasia (that was the name of the future schema-nun) had an abortion (according to some reports, she had a miscarriage) - and tearfully repented of this sin. One day she prayed in the Church of the Resurrection of Slovushchago on Nezhdanova Street (now the Assumption Enemy) in front of the icon “Seeking the Lost.” And he sees: the Mother of God turned her face away from her. The next day, early in the morning, she comes to the same temple. She asked the guard not to let anyone else in, and on her knees, in solitary presence before the miraculous image of the Mother of God, she cried hotly, long and hard, abundantly watering the floor with tears. Suddenly someone from behind touched her shoulder three times. She looked around and saw the Wife in the abbot’s robe and two nuns standing in the distance near the candle box. The abbess tells her: “Why are you crying so much? Listen, I'll help you. There are only three sins that are not forgiven to people: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, suicide, pride. The murdered baby must be baptized.” And she told me how to pray for him. Anastasia felt deep peace and was filled with warm gratitude to her Mentor. Having bowed to the ground before the image of the Mother of God, she looked around and saw: she was alone in the church. She goes to the watchman: “Who was that in the church?” “No one could enter here, everything was locked,” was the answer... Anastasia fulfilled the rule she had received - prayers for babies, given to her by the Mother of God. Since then, Anastasia followed the path of saving her soul and by the end of her life she became a schema-nun with the name Antonia. She turned many to the path of repentance and salvation. For her labors, the Lord granted her the gift of clairvoyance. Elder Antonia's instructions: Mother Antonia said that killing one baby is more terrible than an adult, seven generations of mother and father will answer, i.e. suffer from the destruction of families and grief due to drunkenness, fornication, drug addiction, fatal diseases and other, as it seems to everyone, “external” reasons. For the infant soul is just like the angelic one. “Someone in the family will definitely shed blood for an abortion,” the old woman warned. Having atoned for the sin of infanticide through repentance, penance given by the Mother of God, and works of mercy, punishments are stopped or mitigated by God’s mercy. It is precisely for this terrible sin that, first of all, there is a circle of disorder, trouble, and a worldwide fire is approaching - i.e. world war, and after it the end of the world is not far away. But if those who have sinned this grave sin pray for the souls of the murdered babies, then the world will last, and if they don’t, then the days of peace will be shortened,” said Mother. Infant murdered souls are freed from painful suffering and there is plenty of evidence of this. Those who, as expected, followed this rule were granted visions of prayed-off infant souls. Moreover, people sincerely testify to this, on the Cross and the Gospel, as well as how miraculous changes took place in them after these prayers, both in their personal lives and in family affairs, and these people become preachers of repentance and active supporters of the prohibition of abortion and other methods of infanticide. – First of all, we need confession . A person must bear the weight of his repentance.
Elder Anthony's prayer rule GIVEN BY THE MOTHER OF GOD First, read the usual beginning, as in the prayer books: ++ In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. ++ God, be merciful to me, a sinner. (Bow) ++ Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen. ++ Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee! ++ Heavenly King, Comforter, Soul of truth, Who is everywhere and fulfills everything, Treasure of good things and Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all filth, and save, O Good One, our souls. ++ Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (Read three times, with the sign of the cross and a bow from the waist.) ++ Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. ++ Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord, cleanse our sins; Master, forgive our iniquities; Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Thy name's sake. ++ Lord, have mercy. (Three times) ++ Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. ++ Our Father, who art in heaven! Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as it is in heaven and on earth. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, just as we forgive our debtors; and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ++ Lord, have mercy. (12 times) ++ Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. ++Come, let us worship our King God. (Bow) ++ Come, let us bow and fall down to Christ, our King God. (Bow) ++ Come, let us bow and fall down to Christ Himself, the King and our God. (Bow) ++ Psalm 50: Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your compassions, cleanse my iniquity. Above all, wash me from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; for I know my iniquity, and I will take away my sin before me. I have sinned against You alone and have done evil before You, so that You may be justified in Your words and triumph over the judgment of You. Behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and my mother gave birth to me in sins. Behold, you have loved the truth; You have revealed to me the unknown and secret wisdom of Yours. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. My hearing brings joy and joy; humble bones will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and cleanse all my iniquities. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me. Reward me with the joy of Your salvation and strengthen me with the Lord’s Spirit. I will teach the wicked Your way, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation; My tongue will rejoice in Your righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will declare Your praise. As if you had desired sacrifices, you would have given them: you do not favor burnt offerings. The sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; God will not despise a broken and humble heart. Bless Zion, O Lord, with Your favor, and may the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then favor the sacrifice of righteousness, the offering and the burnt offering; Then they will place the bullock on Your altar. ++ Symbol of Faith: “I believe in One God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, visible to all and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only begotten, who was born of the Father before all ages; Light from Light, true God from true God, born, uncreated, consubstantial with the Father, to Whom all things were. For our sake, man and our salvation came down from heaven and became incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became human. She was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried. And he rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father. And again the coming one will be judged with glory by the living and the dead, His Kingdom will have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Life-Giving One, who proceeds from the Father, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who spoke the prophets. Into one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. I hope for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the next century. Amen". ++ In the name of the Father! Amen! And the Son! Amen! And the Holy Spirit! Amen! ++ Elitsy was baptized into Christ, and put on Christ. Alleluia! (3 times) < Give the baby killed as a result of an abortion a holy male name (can be from those that were in the family or from the names of beloved saints) and pray further >: ++ St. John the Baptist, baptize my baby (name), in the belly of him that languishes, in prison he sits. ++ Holy Great Martyr Barbara, commune my baby (name), who is languishing in the womb, sitting in prison. ++ St. Simeon God-Receiver, as you accepted Christ, take my baby (name) into your hands, languishing in the womb, sitting in prison. ++ St. Anna Prophetess, accept my baby (name), as a godmother, who is languishing in the womb, sitting in prison. ++ Heavenly King, Comforter, Soul of truth, Who is everywhere and fulfills everything, Treasure of good things and Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all filth, and save, O Good One, our souls. (48 times - and 40 prostrations to the ground) ++ Our Father, who art in heaven! Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as it is in heaven and on earth. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, just as we forgive our debtors; and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. (48 times - and 40 bows to the ground) ++ Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. (48 times - and 40 prostrations to the ground) ++Open the doors of mercy for us, blessed Mother of God, who hope in You, may we not perish, but may we be delivered from troubles by You: for You are the salvation of the Christian race. (48 times - and 40 bows to the ground) ++ It is worthy to eat as the truly blessed One, Theotokos, Ever-Blessed and Most Immaculate and Mother of our God. We magnify You, the most honorable Cherub and the most glorious without comparison Seraphim, who gave birth to God the Word without corruption. ++ Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. ++ Lord, have mercy. (Three times) ++ Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother, our reverend and God-bearing fathers and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen. Mother Antonia had a revelation that: For each murdered baby, you need to buy a cross, a vest (shirt), a cap and candles, and take them to the baptismal center as a donation for the baptism of poor children (or children from the Baby Home). If it so happens that the church does not take any of the above, then you can do something for the church or give the church some funds in the name of the begging child. How many abortions there are, repeat these prayers so many times (for each child). You can make prostrations from your knees, and do them several in a row without getting up - even hundreds, - this is how St. Petersburg prayed. Seraphim of Sarov. Moreover, Rev. The elder prayed on his knees on Sundays and holidays, and when he was blessed. Pelagia asked a prayer question: “Is it possible to pray on your knees on holidays? - and the answer was: “Russia has disappeared without bowing to the ground!” After that, read the prayer every day until death: Lord, have mercy on my children who died in my womb. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, for the sake of Your mercy, for my faith and tears, baptize them in the sea of Your bounties and do not deprive them of Your Divine Light. Amen. (3 times during the day).
Prayer of Metropolitan Gregory of Novgorod and St. Petersburg: Remember, O Lord who loves mankind, the souls of your departed servants, who in the womb of Orthodox mothers died accidentally from unknown actions or from a difficult birth, or from some carelessness, and therefore did not receive the holy sacrament of Baptism! Baptize them, O Lord, in the sea of Your bounties and save them with Your ineffable goodness. Notes : The most important thing (7 points): 1. Mother Antonia’s prayers are not a replacement for the sacrament of confession before a priest of the Holy Orthodox Church (in Russia, this is the Russian Orthodox Church MP), therefore, we recommend that you confess the sin of abortion(s) before following the rule. 2. Mother Antonia’s prayers are not the “rite of baptism” of aborted babies, but prayers of love for them to God, prayers of propitiation of the Merciful Creator. These are purely CELL prayers. And from here follows the 3rd rule: 3. Under no circumstances should these babies be remembered in the Holy Church at Church services - Liturgies, masses, proskomedia, memorial services. 4. You need to make all 160 prostrations (no rules like - 1 prostration at night is 40, etc.), which do not have to be done in one day, it can be done over several days - according to everyone’s strength. It is possible for M. Antonia’s rule to be fulfilled by the relatives of a woman who has had an abortion (miscarriage), but, of course, it is better for her to pray for her baby herself. 5. Beware of schismatics from the IOC, Diomidov groups and other sects, even if they spread this rule, because Mother Antonia herself was a faithful child of the Holy Russian Orthodox Church MP and she warned her spiritual children against joining sects and schisms, and whoever left is therefore not her spiritual child and has nothing to do with her. 6. It is unknown when the fate of those babies will improve - immediately after fulfilling the rule, in a few days, months or years (i.e. they will be allowed to see the Divine Light), for whom they prayed according to the rule of M. Anthony, and therefore we must continue to pray throughout our lives for them with a short prayer: “...Lord, baptize my babies (name) in the sea of Your bounties and do not deprive them of Your Divine Light...” (3 times during the day). The most difficult and essential part of the rule is, of course, those 200 prayers and 160 prostrations that are in the main part of the rule - this is performed once for one lost baby. 7. You must pray these prayers in a feeling of contrition, repentance and love for the lost child, hoping for the mercy of God and believing in the intercession of the Most Holy Lady Theotokos and all the saints, believing that this is a good and God-pleasing deed and will certainly bring good fruits for the lost baby, himself the one praying and all his family. ===================================================== ================================= Addition about errors when executing M. Anthony’s rule and after executing it: 1. “ The murdered baby must be baptized.” — the Most Holy Theotokos did not speak such words. So there is so much persecution and criticism against Mother Anthony, and they will also attribute to her the heresy of baptizing aborted babies. 2. Mother Anthony was a faithful child of the Holy Russian Orthodox Church and grieves for those people who, spreading her prayer rule, left the Holy Church for unauthorized organizations. Such people, unfortunately, brought a lot of harm to Mother Antonia and her prayers, defaming her bright name. She asked everyone - “stay in the Holy Russian Orthodox Church MP.” 3. advice: “And at night, - one bow goes for 40, - from midnight to three o’clock, - and during the Divine Liturgy, when the priest says in the Altar “Blessed is the Kingdom of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and forever and ever,” the choir adds: Amen. “One bow to the ground is equal to 2,500 bows from the waist, or a hundred bows to the ground.” Blessed One testified to this. Pelagia of Ryazan, whom the saint himself admonished about this. Seraphim of Sarov." It has not been confirmed and it is very doubtful that Mother Antonia said this. Of course, it is pious to pray at night with prostrations or as advised by Blessed Pelagia of Ryazan in the Church, but there is no need to mix one with the other. It is necessary to preserve the purity of M. Anthony’s prayer rule from one’s own, albeit pious, additions. I think we must make all 160 prostrations to the ground (as the Queen of Heaven gave this prayer rule), with the exception of seriously ill women, to whom fewer prostrations can be made, with the spirit of repentance for the grave sin of abortion. —————————————————————————————— The rule can be read by two, three, and four, a large number of people praying, at the same time for one murdered soul. In this case, the number of prayers is divided by the number of people praying, i.e. If we follow this rule together, then we should read each person not 48 times, but 24 times, if there are three of us, then 16 times, if there are four of us, 12 times, etc. With this rule, you can pray for other people who either cannot or do not even want to pray themselves, for mothers, fathers, relatives and friends, that is, to atone for their sins; Both women and men can pray. Moreover, those who conscientiously fulfilled these prayers for others, as well as those who sinned themselves, were granted visions of prayed-off infant souls. Bows to the ground can be made for others by the one who is able to make them; Moreover, for the weak, they can be done gradually and after reading the prayers. She said about the rule given to her by the Mother of God: “Give out, give out as much as possible! After all, Kuksha himself blessed me!” Look for priests to give you the blessing to read it; if you don’t find it, then ask the Lord and the Mother of God! The Lord will definitely help you, just don’t sit!!!
Prayer rule for the babies killed in the womb of Schema nun Anthony
Very often, women who were unable to conceive due to abortions came to the old woman. The nun reproached them very strongly, but did not refuse help. Schema-nun Antonia's rule about murdered babies is a set of rules that have helped many become pregnant again and give birth to healthy children.
When there are unclean thoughts, despondency, melancholy, read the prayer “Rejoice to the Virgin Mary” many times. The Lord will certainly give peace to the soul for the sake of the prayers of the Mother of God;
You just need to eat food with a cross. When the time comes, everything will be poisoned. But if you cross with faith, you will live. And another person drinks or eats the same thing without crossing himself and will die;
Shut your mouth better, seven locks, as the holy fathers say, know your business: say the Jesus Prayer, how much good it brings in life. Silence is an angel's prayer. It cannot compare with our human prayer. Keep quiet more and listen more, because from her (the angel's prayer) help in everything! My tongue is my enemy, that’s how it is. How much evil and disorder he brings in life... If we condemn our neighbor for some sin, it means that he still lives in us. If a person does not condemn, then this sin does not concern him. When the soul is pure, it will never judge. Because “do not judge, lest you be judged” (Matthew 7:1)”;
The old woman advised reading the 17th kathisma every day, saying: “At the ordeals of the 17th, the kathisma will already be in defense for you”;
The schema-nun believed that Easter candles provide special grace, in particular she said: “When you visit a sick person, read a prayer for the sick person or an akathist and be sure to light the Easter (red) candle.”;
The Word of God is food for soul and body. The duties of a Christian are: I will not go to bed unless I read one chapter of the Gospel; two chapters of the Epistles, beginning with the Acts of the Apostles and ending with the Revelation of St. John the Theologian; several psalms from the Psalter. And so gradually the entire New Testament and the Psalter will be read, which is what is needed... You need to make three bookmarks and read in a row, and when you have read everything, start again, and so on for the rest of your life;
Mother advised many who came: “So that in every house there should be the icons of the Mother of God “The Unbreakable Wall” and the Kaluga one! There should be a holy corner in the house: for holy icons, holy water, prosphora, but it is not good to place icons on sideboards or walls. Can there be a temple without an altar or a house without a roof? - So a family should not live without a holy corner;
During prayer or on holidays, the lamp should be lit, and the candle should be lit well. God’s grace falls on the houses where this is done”;
Be light, give all your sins to God. Give all illnesses, all sorrows, all worries to God. And be light, free yourself. God knows about you. Each person is given the opportunity to play his role in life: he plays and goes into eternal life. What's there to be upset about? We are not here forever, we are guests here. And we’ll go home in due time, we’ll all go home. The Lord will not leave anyone on earth; He will take everyone to Himself. The soul does not die. The body is a costume, it is a temple of the soul.”

Advice and instructions from Schema-nun Antonia (Kaveshnikova)
Ask the Almighty, do not forget Him day and night. It is best to pray early in the morning and at night. - From midnight to three o'clock the holy sky is open. A very valuable prayer during these hours. After midnight, it is good to make three great bows with prayer to the Savior, the Mother of God and the Guardian Angel. Schema-nun Antonia blessed her spiritual children to teach the prayers in memory: “Our Father,” “Rejoice, Virgin Mary,” “Creed,” the 50th and 90th psalms. I advised you to read the short prayer rule of St. Seraphim of Sarov, and the prayer: “Lord, enlighten my mind, calm my heart, help me in life, deliver me from the evil one”... - If children are sick, you need to read the 90th Psalm and the “Our Father” seven times. If something serious, you need to read it twelve times... If a misfortune happens to a person, you need to read the 90th Psalm... If the children are restless, sick, then over the sleeping ones you need to read the prayer “Rejoice to the Virgin Mary” forty times and give communion three Sundays in a row children of the Holy Mysteries of Christ... When there are unclean thoughts, despondency, melancholy, read the prayer “Virgin Mother of God, Rejoice” many times. The Lord will certainly give peace to the soul for the sake of the prayers of the Mother of God... - You just need to eat food with the cross. When the time comes, everything will be poisoned. But if you cross with faith, you will live. And another person who drinks or eats the same thing without crossing himself will die. - Shut your mouth better, seven locks, as the holy fathers say, know your business: say the Jesus Prayer, how much good it brings in life. “We must pray for ourselves, for the dead, and for those who are about to come into this world. But we don’t even know how to pray for ourselves!” “You can’t go anywhere without the Church, always pray to the Mother of God. Teach your children first the Mother of God prayer, since the Queen of Heaven is always with the children.” — The Word of God is food for soul and body. This is complete persecution from the evil one. How he hates believers... Previously, people had one road. And now they have forgotten God and do not think that they should die. We have to endure until the end. The enemy of Christians is tormenting us again. He who endures to the end will be saved. He won't be around long. The time is near." (12/01/1980) “I have no patience with drunks; Yes, we are living in the last times. You can't live like that! Something will happen over Moscow. The great city is Moscow. He will drown in the abyss of fornication.” (01/03/1983) Mother strictly reminded me not to forget the short prayer rule given by St. Seraphim of Sarov and to constantly read the prayer: “Lord, give me peace of mind and physical health. Lord, enlighten my mind, calm my heart, help me in life, deliver me from the evil one. Amen". This short prayer was very helpful to those who constantly read it; it provided downright miraculous help to strengthen a person in spiritual life and especially during spiritual warfare. “Everything, everything, literally everything we do must be done with prayer. Lighting the lamp, we pray: - Lord, kindle the extinguished lamp of my soul and enlighten me with the spirit of virtue, Thy creation, who is Good and Lover of Mankind. Amen". Mother advised daily in personal prayer to turn to the Savior, the Mother of God, the Apostles of Christ, to the saints whose name the person himself, father and mother, bears. “If someone has not been to church for a service, it is good to read the Lord’s Prayer forty times.” In the morning, my mother advised me to drink holy water on an empty stomach, and also to at least eat for every need (when you suddenly get sick, get angry, etc.) But in this case, just not Epiphany water. The church calendar lists saints for each day. So this is what we need: turn to them for prayerful help in business and in life every day, and also turn to God with prayer: “Much-merciful and long-suffering Lord, for the sake of Your Holy Name, have mercy on us with the prayers of the holy saints (names of today) forgive, forgive , forgive, have mercy, bless, help in all our affairs and endeavors, and protect from enemies visible and invisible, known and unknown.” In today’s life, in order to survive safely, you should definitely wear a baptismal cross, either from a monastery, or wear a reliquary cross well. Instead of relics, you can put monastic incense or Athonite incense in the cross and wear the belt “Alive in the Help of the Most High.” On the lining, at the back, where the cross is in a small bag, sweep a shrine: earth or sand from the blessed mother Matrona, or sand from the source of St. Seraphim of Sarov, land from the holy ditch of Diveyevo. So there will be peace and quiet and God's grace.
“For the salvation and peace of the soul, it is obligatory to wear a cross and kiss it with the prayer given by Schema-Hegumen Savva: “Lord, shed a drop of Your most holy Blood into my heart, dried up from passions and sins, from spiritual and physical impurities. Amen". And you must kiss this cross for your family members and even for your enemies.” Recently there was an accident. Everyone in the car turned out to be dead and all without crosses. If a guy or girl came to me without a cross, or couldn’t put a cross on themselves, I told them: “Leave, if you can’t put a cross on yourself.” I asked them: “Show me the cross.” - Oh, I (or we) forgot. - Oh, I forgot, then go away. “Read the 50th Psalm, “I Believe,” “May God Rise,” and the 90th Psalm in the morning. It's like your protection from all four sides. Read for yourself, for your children. If you want everything to be fine in your family, then read the “Our Father” seventy times or the same prayer seven times for each family member. If children are sick, you need to read the 90th Psalm and the “Our Father” seven times. If something is serious, you need to read it twelve times.” “If a misfortune happens to a person, read Psalm 90, “Alive in Help...”, then don’t let it leave your tongue, read for that person, involve everyone, all your loved ones, acquaintances, so that you can read “Alive in Help” for him, just to save him..."
About the family “The mother, the myrrh-bearing wife in the family, must bring peace, harmony, and silence to the family. My husband can't argue with poppy seeds. The matter is in the sky, it takes time or expenses, but in the family it’s already fuss. It’s said - well, it’s said, it’s just said, even if not in the way you want, but the matter is to be so in a pious family, as it were, it will be managed, as it will be sent. And if peace—holy peace—is disturbed in the family, even though you fast, pray, even break your forehead, it’s all to no avail. God is love, peace, goodness, truth, truth. And people say: I do a lot of thinking - without noise. All the spiritual books of the Holy Fathers, when written, are addressed to a male person, the king of nature, the successor of the human race, the worker. In the family, he holds the first corner, the main one (his wife bears his last name, and his children bear not only his last name, but also his patronymic). Mother, wife - kind, wise, “home sun”, from her light, warmth, goodness, order, rhythm of life, her hands are a swan song, the melody of the heart, the eyes of the body, the wings of life. She holds three corners in the family. The second corner is God’s order: spiritual, moral, physical purity, comfort, peace, harmony, mutual understanding, so that the spouse and children do not walk, but run home. The third corner is to preserve everything in the family, living and inanimate. She is the shadow of her husband and children. The fourth corner is to raise children so that they follow the path to God, obey, and work. Obedience is higher than fasting and prayer. Everything is one and unique. The Sun, Sky, Moon, Earth are one. Everything is done according to God the first time. There should be a holy corner in the house: for holy icons, holy water, prosphora, but it is not good to place icons on sideboards or walls. Just as there can be a temple without an altar or a house without a roof, so there can be a family without a holy corner. During prayer, or on holidays, a lamp should be lit, and it would be nice to light a candle. The houses where this is done receive God's grace. A big family means a lot of troubles. It is necessary to expel the enemy from the house, as schema-hegumen Savva instructs. A very strong prayer: “In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and His suffering for the human race, leave the enemy of the human race from this house for 24 hours. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen” and cross on four sides. If the children are restless or sick, then over the sleeping ones one must read the prayer “Rejoice to the Virgin Mary” forty times and give the child Holy Communion to the Holy Mysteries on three Sundays in a row. The cross breaks all the networks of the enemy that surround us. You need to baptize with a cross to the east, west, south, north in the morning and evening and in all difficult circumstances of life (when you are angry, scared), reading this prayer: “The Cross of Christ for the whole world, sanctified by the grace and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, was given to us by weapon on all our enemies, visible and invisible. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen". Also sprinkle water on all four sides and say: “In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. By sprinkling this sacred water, all evil, demonic action will be transformed into flight. Amen"". Mother Mother Antonia warned that the Mother of God Herself, the Queen of Heaven, gave instructions that when going to bed it was absolutely necessary to clear everything from the table. The table is a throne, put the Gospel on it and a cross on top so that God’s Grace overshadows the apartment (house). It is good to have a lamp burning in front of the holy images. Any business must be started wisely, with reasoning, then there will be no bad consequences. Which saints should we pray for in which matter? A good start is half the battle, but what is it like? How? First of all: The first thing is to take a blessing from the priest to start this business. The second is to submit a note at the liturgy about the health of those involved in the case. Third, serve prayers: – to the Savior; – Mother of God; – Guardian Angel or Archangel Michael; - Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker and Saint Spyridon of Trimifunt (they were given a blessing from God to help in all matters of incomprehensible difficulty); - Great Martyr John the Warrior, or St. George the Victorious, or Great Martyr Tryphon. Each of them has the power to help the cause, and, most importantly, to eliminate all obstacles. - to the saint whose name you bear. Fourth, fast and pray yourself. Always go to a serious task on an empty stomach, only take prosphora with holy water and say the Jesus Prayer, and the prayer that falls on your heart. Never forget to fast on all Wednesdays and Fridays, as long as a person lives. Mother repeated: “It’s not just twelve months, twelve apostles! This number is very significant. And a mother’s prayers for her children are the strongest; you definitely need to pray especially for your child.” * * * “On Easter, place on the table, as it was at the Last Supper: bread, salt, candles. So do you. Easter cake, eggs, salt, candles - all Easter on the table. You meet the Lord Jesus Christ. He's risen! “And everything must be arranged as the Lord blessed at the Last Supper.” Mother believed that Easter candles provide special grace and help, especially in healing the sick. She said: “When you visit a sick person, read a prayer for the sick person or an akathist, and be sure to light an Easter (red) candle.” The old woman’s advice is very important and timely for our days on how to protect yourself in case of danger, serious illness, severe sorrow or temptation. It is necessary to light the Easter (or Jerusalem) candle, and one of the loved ones should walk around the mourning or sick person with a burning candle, saying the words of the Easter troparion: “Christ is Risen from the dead...” and add the prayer: “Christ is Risen from the dead, rise from illness servant of God (name of rivers). Amen” - and so on three times. If you are alone in the house, surround yourself with the same prayer three times. If you don’t get along with some apparatus or device (car, refrigerator, sewing machine, etc.), mother advised reading the Easter Hours and then turning to the Lord with a request to fulfill what the person needs at the moment. * * * “And it’s not easy to die, you have to be able to die!..” “The Lord will never give up His people.” “You already feel weak, life is so hard now, you have to live every year somehow, but old age takes its toll, and then: “You are the earth and you will go back to the earth.” If we didn’t die, then it would be a different matter, but since we all have to die, then a person must think about how to live. So, choose your path while you are still on your feet, and when they lead you by the hand, then that’s it! If a person constantly thinks about death, then he will never go astray, he will never go astray. Every day is closer to death. Once they worked, they worked in the world, and then they turn black and into the ground. I thought about this for a long time, even when I was young: my hands were working and suddenly they would turn into earth, into the dust of the earth. I thought: you have to die somehow, but “the death of a sinner is cruel,” and why? Because he led a very sinful life. Repentance is the most important thing.” “Be light, give all your sins to God. Give all illnesses, all sorrows, all worries to God. And be light, free yourself. God knows about you. He has already decided what you need, what your destiny is and what your life path is. Why worry, suffer, why bother? In no case. You need to live like this: whatever will be, so will be, as God wills. The body is a costume, it is a temple of the soul. The soul flies away and goes to God. And the body will be buried in the ground - and that’s it. Of course, during life you need to pray for health for life. To have time to earn something for your future life. And what you earn here is what you get there. The soul has earned itself a good life - and it will be good for it. There the soul is content and lives in paradise, all brothers and sisters. We should live like this on earth: all as brothers and sisters. So you came to me: you are my brothers and sisters. Now we know you...” “The Lord records how much you prayed, how much you were baptized, how many good people you set on the path, how much you gave to the poor, how much kindness you said among the people, all this is recorded. The soul goes in lists, everything is in lists... You will come to God, and the Lord will say: - This man fulfilled My entire law - he confessed, took communion... He did everything that is in the law. And if you served your master faithfully: threshed rye, baked pancakes, did this and that, where will the master take you? - He will seat you at the table with him. Pray and the Lord will have mercy on you. Pray, study, go to church more often, confess, receive communion, do everything that is supposed to be done. And then you will be good with God. Remember for yourself and tell others: how you treat others here is exactly the same way they will treat you there.” “And of course, the sacraments, and above all, unction. My parents taught me all about this. I stood on the porch, we had two churches and the bells went like this: “ding-ding, ding-ding.” And I say to my mother: “Well, why don’t mother bells ring like that, because they don’t ring correctly, they should “bam-bam-bam.” - Eh, you, daughter, you’re still little, you don’t understand. This is a man who has been unctioned. - Tell me what it is? - A person who has received unction - he no longer has any sins left, he has received unction. Unction occurs during fasting: so, they say, today there will be a council in such and such a church, everyone will gather, our whole life and all our sinful life will be read out when they receive the unction. It's called the garment of salvation, and all the sins you've done since you were young are all covered up. And my mother also said that it is not the accursed person who is dragged through the mud by the damned, but the one who has received the unction - he is already met by the Heavenly Forces, because it is as if he has already been renewed, and he goes to God - his soul, and his soul is alive. Everything will die, but the soul will never die, the soul is an eternal resident. Woe to him who does not receive unction during his lifetime. This is the crown of the Sacraments, the completion of all seven Sacraments of the Church.” “When commemorating the departed, read first the prayer: “Remember, Lord, the souls of Your departed servants, newly departed on this day, at this hour, at this moment, who departed from this world in the hope of resurrection: those who were burned in fire, those who drowned in water, those who froze on the way, from hunger, without repentance and Communion, those who died and laid down their lives for the Orthodox faith, orphans, and beggars.” To commemorate the dead, mother advised bringing Cahors to the church for communion, indicating the names of those for whom to pray, and giving flour for prosphora. It is advisable to put as many baked goods on the eve as a person can. It is good to put eggs on the eve, each egg replaces ten alms. You can add sugar and sweets. It is good to put at least a little sunflower oil on the day when the deceased is remembered in connection with the anniversary and for the newly deceased. On the eve, it is advisable to light three candles: the first - for all deceased Orthodox Christians, and the second candle - for everyone who has no one to remember, and the third - for their relatives. It is good for the soul to give in the church for commemoration, in addition to your relatives, also for the parents of the holy saints of God: the parents of St. Seraphim of Sarov - Isidore and Agathia; St. Nicholas - Theophan and Nonna; St. Joasaph of Belgorod - Andrew and Mary; wife of Blessed Xenia - Andrey; parents of the holy righteous John of Kronstadt - Elijah and Thekla; parents of St. Theodosius of the Caucasus - Theodore and Catherine; the parents of schema-abbot Savva - Mikhail and Ekaterina. Mother said that you only need to cry about sins, and not about troubles and misfortunes: - Kill yourself? Cry? Something else was missing. Yes, you're fine. Look at the beauty you live in, what God gave you... When sister Ksenia died, mother told her daughter: “Don’t cry, don’t cry, it’s a great sin!” Do not Cry! - although, as the niece recalls, “mother’s own cheekbones were aching with grief.” Mother said: “Don’t rush to make a person happy with misfortune, otherwise they’ll rush and open the door: “Tanka, Manka, your father was hit by a horse!” You can say the same words in another way, only slowly, carefully. You need to take care of people, otherwise you can kill a person with the news. Here you can recall an incident told by mother’s niece: “We went to the Moscow River in Shchukino to swim. One day my friends decided to make a joke: they took the belt from my dress and twisted it like that. Mom turned white because she knew that I had gone swimming. And the girlfriends are silent, their heads are lowered and they are twisting the belt of my dress. If it weren’t for my mother, I don’t know what would have happened there. Mother immediately came up to them, took the belt and said: “Come on, bring her here from these trees.” But she couldn’t see me. After that she said loudly: “Nanny*, let’s go, we’ll have dinner now.” And mother, having calmed down, left. And then mother came out to these girls: “What are you doing?” After all, you could kill a person! You twist your belt to show that she is not there. - Yes, we just wanted to joke, Aunt Nastya. Mother did not accept such “jokes” and the like. She felt sorry for people. She herself saw a lot of grief and tried to console, calm down...” To protect against thieves, mother advised walking around the house or estate, reading the prayers “I Believe” three times and “May God rise again” once. She advised every home to have a bell. The ringing of bells in a room purifies the air, enlightens thoughts, and improves mental state. “If something is missing and you can’t find it, you need to read “I Believe” three times. If you don’t find anything big, then read “I Believe” twelve times.” “If a person is in great sorrow or is attacked by the enemy or attacked from outside, one must order mass in three churches at the same time, and stand and pray in one of them.” They remember this incident: one of my mother’s relatives disappeared. She said: “Order three masses in three churches.” And on the same day they did this, news of a missing person arrived. In difficult life situations, she advised ordering prayers to the saints, especially St. Nicholas, Great Martyr George, and reading akathists to them. * * * Prayer for illness and sorrow: “Save, Lord, and have mercy on your servant (name of the rivers) with the words of the Divine Gospel, which speak about the salvation of Your servant. The thorns of all his sins have fallen, Lord, and may Thy grace dwell in him, scorching, cleansing, sanctifying the whole person in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen". Read the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel of John: “I am the true Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser...” (John 15.1-26). After the Gospel, read the prayer again. When there are unclean thoughts, despondency, melancholy, read the prayer many times: “Virgin Mother of God, rejoice.” The Lord will certainly give peace to the soul for the sake of the prayers of the Mother of God. In extremely difficult situations, in all particularly difficult cases of human life, mother advised performing this prayer rule at home for forty days. Thirty-three candles are lit, if possible, every day, or at least for the entire first prayer for forty days. The prayer is read: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, for thirty-three years you walked the earth, suffered, and prayed for our sins. I light thirty-three candles in Your name. Accept my prayer, deliver us from all temptation and wickedness. Amen". Then the “Virgin Mother of God, Rejoice” is read 150 times and the Jesus Prayer “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us” 500 times. Before the first day, the usual initial prayers are read, and then akathists: - To the Most Holy and Life-Giving Trinity; – To Almighty God in the onslaught of sorrow; – The Resurrection of Christ; – To the Honest and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord; – the icon of the Mother of God “Quench my sorrows”; – Kazan Icon of the Mother of God; - the icon of the Mother of God called “Quick to Hear”. Having finished the akathists, thirty-three candles are lit, the prayer indicated above is read: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, thirty-three years...” and the rule is completed to the end. Before the second day, the usual initial prayers are read, and then akathists: - To the Most Holy Theotokos from the prayer book; – Saint Archangel Michael; – Saint John the Baptist and Baptist of the Lord; - Prophet Elijah; - John the Theologian; - Saint Nicholas; - All Saints. Otherwise everything is the same as the first day. * * * “Don’t pay attention to what’s going wrong in the church, be patient. Find yourself a spiritual father who will understand you. This is immediately noticeable. You will immediately feel how he listens to you, how he asks questions, how he accepts confession. You can tell your spiritual father everything in confession, literally down to the details.” “Shut your mouth better, seven locks, as the holy fathers say, know your business: say the Jesus Prayer, how much good it brings in life. Silence is the Angel's prayer. It cannot compare with our human prayer. Keep quiet more, and listen more, because silence is the Angel’s prayer, since it helps in everything! My tongue is my enemy, that’s how it is. How much evil and frustration he brings in life.” “If we condemn our neighbor for some sin, it means that he still lives in us. If a person does not condemn, then this sin does not concern him. When the soul is pure, it will never judge. Because “do not judge, lest you be judged” (Matt. 7:1).” Below we present the mother’s answer to a married man with a child, who wanted to leave his family and go to a monastery, feeling a craving for monasticism: - A monastery is a prison, a real prison. Look, you will leave everything, no one needs you. Lie down - here is a pillow-friend and that's it, get up alone, get up alone, and they will send you to work. This is such a terrible burden on my soul! You have renounced the world. What makes the world so beautiful is because you are free, but here there is obedience. They say: “Go to the garden beds.” This is day and night gardening, and in winter there is some other work. After all, you love children, you love family, but you have to leave everything - can you? Can you do it? But this is the hardest cross when you leave the children ... "So that there is no pride and charms in Orthodox people, you need to communicate, talk among themselves. Learn each other. A small earthquake occurs between people. But “where two or three are collected in my name, there I am in the middle of them” (Matthew 18, 20), ”says the Lord. The beauty and pride departs. " Anthony Cimonachine (Kaveshnikova)

LIFE DESCRIPTION OF SCHEMON ANTONIA (1904-1998)Schema-nun Antonia (Anastasia Yakovlevna Kaveshnikova) was born on December 12, 1904 in the village of Dolgoye, Dankovsky district, Ryazan province.
She openly visited churches, made pilgrimages to holy places, preached, and distributed handwritten prayers to believers...
In 1953, Anastasia Yakovlevna became the spiritual daughter of the elder, Reverend Kuksha of Odessa (1875–1964). The elder blessed Anastasia Yakovlevna to give out prayers “for babies killed in the womb.” With the blessing of her spiritual father, Anastasia sang and directed the church choir for ten years for free, and earned her living by reading the psalter for the dead in church at night. In 1964, Anastasia became the spiritual daughter of the elder, Venerable Amphilochius of Pochaev.
It is necessary that they say bad things about me, then it will be according to God...” The righteous woman advised everyone to pray for those who hate and offend. She even advised one of her spiritual daughters to order a prayer service for the “homewrecker.”
From the memories of spiritual children: “More than once, through mother’s prayers, children were born to those who were not fertile. The Lord gave her knowledge of the healing power of plants... She knew the properties of roots and herbs well, and collected them for His Holiness Patriarch Pimen... But still, the main remedy for ailments was her prayer, because in many cases what was asked was fulfilled without any roots...
Mother said that children often get sick because the marriage was not consummated, and advised them to get married immediately... She called on women to pray for lost children with tears, with great heartfelt crying... To one of the women who came to her, mother named the number of abortions she herself had performed and her mother, and told her how to pray.
Among those who turned to the elder for advice was the abbess of the Tolga monastery, Mother Varvara. In February 1990, mother moved to the Tolga Monastery, where in March 1990, with the blessing of Patriarch Pimen, she accepted the schema with the name Anthony.
Mother’s prayer destroyed her obsession: the girl does not use drugs, she entered college, the strengthened faith of her parents leads them to an increasingly church-going life... The elder constantly lives in the world of prayer, which the Lord hears and affirms; he can become a teacher of prayer because he receives the gift of seeing the hearts of people in the Holy Spirit..."
At the end of her life, in 1996, mother was transferred to the Maloyaroslavets Chernoostrovsky St. Nicholas Convent. Since autumn I have been taking it in the yard, in the cold. Foreseeing in spirit the arrival of people to her, she already met them on the street. This was her Calvary. In a wheelchair, in the wind, wrapped in a blanket, with a debilitating cough, she prayed for the suffering and sick people who knelt before such great selflessness of the 94-year-old old woman.
Appearance of the Mother of God to Elder Antonia, rule for the murdered babies and mother’s instructions
Schema-nun Antonia(in the world Anastasia Yakovlevna Kaveshnikova) is an Orthodox ascetic, confessor and elder. She was born in 1904 on the Don in the village of Dolgoye, into a pious Orthodox family who kept the traditions of their ancestors - the Don Cossacks.
Even in childhood and adolescence, she was granted meetings with visionary elders who advised the future ascetic to choose the monastic path. But she chose marriage and carried her truly difficult family cross to the end. Mother went through all the torments of the Gulag and psychiatric hospitals, where they tried to “cure” her from her faith in Christ. And yet the Lord honored her with monasticism with the name Apollinaris and schema with the name Antonia, and marked her with His great gifts: insight, grace-filled prayer, the gift of healing and consolation..
Not many years have passed since the death of Mother in 1998, but her name is already known to many Orthodox Christians in Russia and abroad. The number of pilgrims to her grave in the small monastery cemetery increases day by day. People stand here for a long time, light candles, pray and, by their faith, receive what they ask for...
Appearance of the Mother of God to Schema Nun Anthony
In her youth, Anastasia (that was the name of the future schema-nun) had an abortion (according to some reports, she had a miscarriage) - and tearfully repented of this sin. One day she prayed in the Church of the Resurrection of Slovushchago on Nezhdanova Street (now the Assumption Enemy) in front of the icon “Seeking the Lost.” And he sees: the Mother of God turned her face towards her.
He goes to the watchman: “Who was that in the church?” “No one could enter here, everything was locked,” was the answer...
Anastasia fulfilled the rule she received - prayers for babies, given to her by the Mother of God. Since then, Anastasia followed the path of saving her soul and by the end of her life she became a schema-nun with the name Antonia. She turned many to the path of repentance and salvation. For her labors, the Lord granted her the gift of clairvoyance.
Many cases of miraculous help through her prayers during her life and after her death testify to the correction of children, the arrangement of family affairs, the conversion of unbelievers, those of little faith and even persecutors to the faith, the wedding of married couples, the gift of children to the infertile, the recovery of stolen people and things, material needs .
Through her prayers to the Lord, churches and monasteries were built and restored, and those priests and laymen who came to her grave to serve a memorial service or simply to pray were never left without help and consolation. Moreover, requests for help addressed to the old woman were fulfilled so accurately that there simply remains no doubt about her boldness before the Lord.
But because the great old lady fearlessly confessed the prayerful penance given to her by the Queen of Heaven for the sins of infanticide, and she herself prayed for these weak unfortunate souls, she was given an admonition to her request to the Mother of God - that the devil would tear off her skin for this, - that is, - there will be severe sorrows. But mother was not afraid to take this great Cross for everyone and everything. And thanks to this feat, she received from the Lord for her great labors the gifts of prayer and insight.
Through her prayers, many thousands of families were saved from collapse, and many many babies were born. But from the first meeting she gave everyone the rule given to her by the Mother of God - thus, murder in the womb is a personal, tribal and social sin, that is, it falls with a heavy burden on the murderer himself and on all relatives and on the whole society, which is this crime legitimized and silently “tolerates.”
Elder Antonia's instructions:
Mother Antonia said that killing one baby is more terrible than an adult, seven generations of mother and father will answer, i.e. suffer from the destruction of families and grief due to drunkenness, fornication, drug addiction, fatal diseases and other, as it seems to everyone, “external” reasons.
But if those who have sinned this grave sin beg for the souls of the murdered babies, then the world will last, and if they don’t, then the days of peace will be shortened, said Mother.
That is why, despite sorrows and persecutions, she herself constantly prayed in repentance for her sin and for the sake of saving the dying world, begging for the souls of murdered babies for others.
And many now repent and pray according to this rule, although the penance given by the Queen of Heaven is blasphemed by some, and by others, out of “fear” of blasphemers, they hide from people out of fear for the sake of the Pharisee, and to remain silent about this is simply a crime,
for by repentance not only the sins of the repentant themselves are washed away, but their children and relatives are also delivered from punishment.
Infant murdered souls are freed from painful suffering and there is plenty of evidence of this. Those who, as expected, carried out these rules were honored with visions of prayed-for infant souls. Moreover, people sincerely testify to this, on the Cross and the Gospel, as well as how miraculous changes took place in them after these prayers, both in their personal lives and in family affairs, and these people become preachers of repentance and active supporters of the prohibition of abortion and other methods of infanticide.
Often persecution for the special gifts of God, the labors and exploits of ascetics become constant companions during their life and after their death, which evil spirits try in every possible way to hinder, arousing their ardent “novices” from among spiritually immature people. Mature people, on the contrary, will remain silent and turn to the advice of the wisest, i.e. to the true elders, and such ascetics starting with St.
Kuksha of Odessa, Amphilochius of Pochaev, schema-abbot Jerome (Elder of Sanaxar), archpriest. Nikolai (Guryanov), bishop. Innocent (Veniaminova), and others, including those living today, have already expressed their positive opinion about this rule. RULE GIVEN BY THE VIRGIN OF SCHEMA NUN ANTONIA ABOUT PRAYER FOR CHILDREN KILLED IN THE WOMB
Morning prayers (according to the prayer book), according to the Creed;
Next: In the name of the Father! Amen! And the Son! Amen! And the Holy Spirit! Amen!
Elites were baptized into Christ, put on Christ, (3 times)
Hallelujah! (3 times)
A baby killed in the womb must be given a male name
from the names of the holy saints of God, and turning to the saints ask this:
St. John the Baptist, baptize my baby (name), who is languishing in the womb, sitting in prison.
Holy Great Martyr Barbara, communion with my baby (name), who is languishing in the womb, sitting in prison.
St. Simeon the God-Receiver, how did you accept Christ, p
Take my baby (name) into your hands, languishing in the womb, sitting in prison.
St. Anna Prophetess, accept my baby (name), as a mother godmother, in the womb languishing, in prison.
And then read the prayers:
48 times - to the Heavenly King... and 40 bows to the ground,
48 times - Our Father... and 40 bows to the ground,
48 times - the 50th psalm and 40 bows to the ground (instead of the 50th psalm, you can read the Jesus Prayer 48 times to the weak)
48 times - Open the doors of Mercy to us... and 40 bows to the ground
Then the usual ending of the prayers: It is worthy to eat...
Mother Antonia had a revelation that:
You need to buy a cross and a vest for everyone
(shirt), cap and candles, take it to the baptismal center as a donation for the baptism of poor children (or children from an orphanage). (How many abortions and miscarriages have been made, so many times these prayers need to be repeated for the soul of each baby).
Those who used any other
means to
expel conceptions from the womb using poisons, spirals, etc.
perform this penance five times in one year of using these remedies
.
For human life begins at conception and any violent termination of it is murder.
Every day until death and read the prayer: “
Lord, have mercy on my children who died in my womb. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, for the sake of Your mercy, for my faith and tears, baptize them in the sea of Your bounties, and do not deprive them of Your Divine light. Amen". ( 3 times a day).
This rule can be read by two, three, or four, a large number of people praying, at the same time for one murdered soul. In this case, the number of prayers is divided by the number of people praying, i.e. If the two of us follow this rule, then we must read each one not 48 times, but 24 times, if there are three of us, then 16 times, if there are four of us, 12 times, and so on.
With this rule, you can pray for other people who either cannot or do not even want to pray themselves, for mothers, fathers, relatives and friends, that is, to atone for their sins; Both women and men can pray. Moreover, those who conscientiously performed these prayers for others, as well as themselves
those who sinned were granted visions of prayed-off infant souls. Bows to the ground can be made for others by the one who is able to make them; Moreover, for the weak, they can be done gradually and after reading the prayers.
And at night, one bow goes for 40, from midnight to three o’clock, and during the Divine Liturgy, when the priest in the Altar says “Blessed is the Kingdom of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages,” - the choir adds: Amen. - One bow to the ground is equal to 2500 bows from the waist, or a hundred bows to the ground. Blessed One testified to this. Pelagia of Ryazan, whom the saint himself admonished about this. Seraphim of Sarov.
By the way, prostrations can be made from the knees, and you can do them several in a row without getting up - even hundreds, - this is how St. Petersburg prayed. Seraphim of Sarov. Moreover, Rev. The elder prayed on his knees on Sundays and holidays, and when he was blessed. Pelagia asked a prayer question: “Is it possible to pray on your knees on holidays? - and the answer was: “Russia has disappeared without bowing to the ground!”
Bishop Innokenty (Veniaminov), great-great-grandson of St. Innocent Veniaminov, Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna) blessed to read this rule throughout the day: on the way to work, during breaks, in the middle of the day, as an internal prayer rule, counting prayers on the rosary. That is, if it is not possible to pray continuously, you can read this rule in parts. The Bishop happily approved such a request to him, saying: “That’s right, otherwise we still have no time, and no time to pray, but it will be very good, pray, pray. God bless!
The prayers are printed in the form in which the Most Holy Theotokos gave them to the future elder. There is no need for us sinners to discuss the questions of why She said this or that word exactly.
Don't stop the children from coming to me!
Of course, we must correctly understand everything said by the old lady, for everything now depends on our repentance, to which mother called everyone. She said about the rule given to her by the Mother of God: “Give out, give out as much as possible! After all, Kuksha himself blessed me!”
