Saint Charbel - the most effective appeals to the Lebanese monk and healer

Who is Saint Charbel?

Youssef Makhlouf is a famous Lebanese Christian monk who is revered by the Catholic Church. For believers, he is better known as Charbel. Yusef was born into a poor family, where his mother was a believer, and she became for him an example of love for God. From early childhood, Youssef showed the gift of healing, helping many people fight illnesses. As a young man, Makhlouf graduated from the seminary, became a priest, and in adulthood decided to lead the life of a hermit. The holy monk Charbel, thanks to his prayers, could change the weather and protect people from misfortunes.

Miracles of Saint Charbel

The monk began to surprise people during his lifetime by making prophecies. He could predict deaths at a distance and the places where the image of the Virgin Mary would appear. In his visions, the Earth was covered with luminous points and each of them was an image of a statue of the Virgin Mary, which was located in his home. Before becoming a monk, he predicted the streaming of myrrh from statues and icons of the Mother of God, which would change people’s lives, and this happened in 1984.

This is only a small list of predictions that the saint made during his lifetime. Youssef Makhlouf wrote a lot, discussing various topics. Most of all, he was worried about the disappearance of true faith and the spread of hypocrisy among people. He also wrote about the numerous temptations that prevent a person from approaching God. He was worried about the lack of a moral, spiritual, religious leader.

The monk became famous thanks to numerous miracles that believers observe even after death. The phenomenon of Saint Charbel appeared some time after his death, when the next day people noticed an inexplicable glow above the place where the body rested. A year later, the crypt was opened and they saw that the body remained incorrupt and there was no smell, and there was perspiration on the body in the form of a pinkish liquid. Doctors tried for a long time to explain the phenomenon, but the mystery was never solved.

They began to talk about the miracles of Saint Charbel even more after the manifestation of his healing power. After the monk’s body was displayed in a glass coffin, pilgrims came to him and got rid of various diseases. Believers who could not come sent letters to the temple with their photographs and hair and they were attached to the coffin, which helped people get help from a distance. The international Lebanese center keeps records of numerous healings.

Earthly life

Saint Charbel received the name Youssef Makhlouf at birth. He grew up in a peasant family in one of the villages of Lebanon, being born in 1828. He was a silent and modest child, always trying to be alone. The boy's love for his mother, who was known as a very religious woman, was strong.

Already in his early years he was called a saint, as he almost always prayed. When he was grazing goats in the mountains, he found a grotto, which he adapted for prayers, making an altar there and placing images of the Blessed Virgin and the Lord there.

Having lived the first 23 years of his life in his native village, he became stronger in his desire to devote himself to God, went as a pilgrim to the town of Meifuk and became a novice in the monastery there.

After completing his five-year studies in Krifan, he returned to Annaya, where he lived until his death in 1898.

In front of the monastery, where the monk’s body rests, a monument was erected: Saint Charbel (you can see a photo of the monument below) stands with his hand raised on a pedestal with steps leading to him, on which believers are always present, kissing and stroking his metal clothes, warm to the touch. The last inexplicable phenomenon is connected precisely with this monument. When the Pope announced Charbel's canonization in Rome, his right hand was raised as if he were greeting the faithful. Who knows, maybe this is not the last miracle in the chain of those that have already happened.

Prayer to Saint Charbel

For decades, people have been turning to the monk for help with numerous requests. More often people come to him asking for healing, for example, he helps restore vision, speed up the healing process of deep wounds, get rid of various ailments and even oncology. To contact a monk, you can simply print out a photo, attach it to the sore spot and read a prayer. The Lebanese saint Charbel helps not only in healing, but also in fulfilling wishes and solving various problems.

Scientific evidence of healing mosha images

Scientists became interested in the healing face and began to study it using special ultra-sensitive instruments capable of detecting flows of electromagnetic waves.

The measurements were carried out several times, but the final result was the same: the photo with Saint Charbel began to emit the same frequencies that come from medical equipment!

This can be considered nothing less than a real miracle: experiments have officially confirmed once again that photos of the late saint actually heal people due to the electromagnetic waves emitted by him.

How to work with the miraculous face? There's nothing too complicated here. A sick person simply needs to prepare an image of the saint and begin to regularly apply it to his sore spots. This is done humbly, and you must ask the saint for help.

It is important that your appeal is truly sincere and that you need what you are asking for.

When the session is completed, be sure to finally express your sincere gratitude to the saint, even if you received only partial healing. After all, your illnesses can be quite serious, such that it is simply impossible to get rid of them in one session.

Saint Charbel - prayer for the fulfillment of desires

A huge number of people from different parts of the world confirm that sincere prayer requests from a pure heart have fulfilled their cherished desire. Charbel's prayer must be read from a pure heart with unshakable faith in a positive result. It is better to address the monk in front of the face, which is recommended to be kept in your home. In order for the holy healer Charbel to help, it is better to say prayers every day, not forgetting to thank for the help.

Saint Charbel - prayer of healing

You can turn to a monk in different situations, so he will help not only reduce headaches, but also get rid of serious diseases. To begin with, it is recommended to attach the image of the monk to the sore spot and only then read the prayer of Saint Charbel for recovery. If the pain is severe and the situation is more complex, then the photo can be tied to the problem area throughout the night. It is important not to use the same image to treat people at the same time.

Prayer to Saint Charbel in money

As already mentioned, the monk helps believers cope with various problems, even material ones. It is important to contact him with requests, not to get rich, but to receive a certain amount for an important matter, for example, for the operation of a loved one. Saint Charbel's help is to create the appropriate energy that will help achieve your goals and receive money. There are nine different prayers, each of which has great power and helps believers. In this case, it is recommended to use this option:

“Saint Charbel, the hermit who went through suffering, whom our Lord Jesus Christ made a bright beacon, I turn to you and ask through you for mercy (request). I trust you, amen!

O Saint Charbel, fragrant vessel, ask for me. All-forgiving Lord, whom Saint Charbel glorified by giving him the grace to work miracles, and to me, grant me what I ask through his intercession.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen".

Reading rules

There are two types of prayers to the Most Holy Charbel:

  • 9-day, read one per day for a 9-day cycle;
  • one-time, pronounced once.

Prayers read for 9 days are especially powerful. Christians believe that the holiest words addressed to Charbel will help make any dream come true. Usually a monk is asked for healing from illness or protection and salvation from enemies. Prayers of the 9-day cycle are read one per day for 9 days. This rule cannot be broken. Before starting the prayers of the 9-day cycle, you need to read a preparatory prayer. This is an appeal to the Lord with a request to grant mercy and grace to the one praying. After the preparatory prayer, one prayer text from the 9-day cycle is read daily.

Saint Charbel dedicated his entire life to serving the Lord. After his death, the reverend monk went to his Heavenly Father in the heavenly chambers. The Most Holy Elder even today helps people who turn to him with sincere repentance. Christians can pray to the monk daily. In addition to the 9-day prayer, there are single prayers that are read once a day.

You can pray to the Most Holy Elder in a Catholic church or at home in front of an icon with his most holy image. Before prayer, you need to repent of your sins and ask God for forgiveness. Upon completion of reading the prayer text, you must thank the Lord for everything he has done for the sake of people.

Saint Charbel and Orthodoxy

Many people wonder whether an Orthodox person can turn to a monk for help. To understand this topic, one should turn to the opinions of clergy. Before canonizing someone, the Orthodox Church creates a commission that studies life and posthumous miracles. Since Saint Charbel is a Catholic, the Orthodox Church has no right to decide the issue of his holiness, and therefore a person of such faith cannot turn to him in his prayers.

The Orthodox faith has many different saints who are considered healers and miracle workers, so you should address your requests to them. It is worth noting that many articles have been written about the life and miracles created by the monk, but the most famous is the book presented by A.B. Bayukansky "Saint Charbel". It describes many interesting facts, including the fact that the monk belongs to the Maronite community.

What preceded the miracles?

The monk died at the age of 71, having spent the last 25 years as a hermit working in the vineyard. He voluntarily lived in Spartan conditions: eating once a day, sleeping on the floor of his cell, a log instead of a pillow. He grew grapes, worked tirelessly and successfully healed peasants from the surrounding area, refusing help and support to anyone.

Perhaps his righteous life was the reason that he continued to heal people after death. This began with the amazing events that occurred a few days after Saint Charbel left the earthly world.

Healing power

In 1909, the body was placed in a glass-lidded coffin and left on public display. Lines of pilgrims reached out to the coffin, received healing from mental illness, rose to their feet, regained their sight and began to hear. Those who could not come sent letters with photographs and hair of themselves to be attached to the coffin and then sent back to them.

Each healing was documented, and the remaining items from the healed pilgrims - splints, crutches, orthopedic shoes and letters - are kept in the International Center of Saint Charbel in Lebanon.

The ichor was released for almost 20 years, but the body did not turn into a mummy. Moisture seemed to come from nowhere, which confused scientists and doctors. Lost in conjecture, they could not and still cannot explain what was happening.

A look from a scientific point of view

Of course, today there is still debate about why a person miraculously recovers after making a pilgrimage to the tomb of a Lebanese monk. Numerous studies have been carried out, but scientists and doctors cannot scientifically explain the phenomenon of Saint Charbel and understand how a body that has been lying in a coffin for more than a century looks as if the person died a few hours ago and gives healing to pilgrims.

Various experiments were carried out repeatedly, the purpose of which was to shed light on the miracles taking place. The most eminent experts in their field from all over the world were involved in the research. Sometimes absolutely barbaric procedures were carried out on the body, no matter what, it remained in its condition.

Our country has not remained aloof from studying this phenomenon. Writer Anatoly Bayukansky, who repeatedly visited Lebanon and talked with those whom the monk helped, in 2013 published another book about him entitled “Saint Charbel. Help from heaven." In it, he talked about the life of a healer, described in detail all the miracles that he performed both during life and after death, and also made attempts to explain them from a rational point of view.

But does it really matter how it happens? If a person knows exactly why he is recovering, it will no longer be called a miracle. It will also be possible to predict the likelihood of healing, and someone’s unclean hands will put this matter on stream. It is then that all the magic will disappear, and people will lose the hope and faith that they sometimes need so much.
