Prayer of repentance for the entire family: for the forgiveness of sins, for the health of loved ones and relatives

The prayer for the family is one of the most ancient; its reading is combined with regular visits to the temple of the Lord. Whenever possible, Christians take part in divine services and turn to higher powers not only in church, but also at home. Of great importance in this case is not how many times the words directed to the Almighty were spoken, but how sincere the repentance of the believer is.

Sins that affect our lives and the lives of our relatives up to the 12th generation are forgiven to those who, with all their actions, and not just their speeches, demonstrate an unshakable desire to receive forgiveness. God grants it to those whose faith is all-consuming, whose head is free from evil thoughts.

We also recommend that you read a prayer for good luck in everything.

Prayer is a way of communicating with God, but you can also pray for other living people and relatives

Let's start with a common truth that many people forget. Prayer is a conversation with God. The emphasis here should be on communication. We do not turn to the Lord as to Santa Claus: “I want this for myself, give me what I want, please.”

The main prayer request: “Thy will be done.” Man posits, but God disposes. From His heights one can better see what a person needs and what is harmful.

To which ancestor should prayer for the family reach? According to the Bible, Adam and Eve are members of the race of each person. It turns out that each of us, praying for a race, can imagine it as a chain of generations from ourselves to Adam (“Adam and Eve”, Hans Baldung). Photo: muzei-mira.com

But at the same time, turning to God and showing complete trust in Him is not prohibited by the Orthodox Church. The main thing is to emphasize that we are entrusting the situation into the hands of the Lord. Archpriest Vladimir (Golovin) speaks about this in the video below:

But are our actions legitimate when it comes to praying for another person?

If this is a prayer for living people, then, of course.

The Monk Silouan of Athos believes that through the actions of a person who prays for another, God's will is manifested.

“The Lord wants to save everyone and calls the whole world to His goodness. The Lord does not take away the will from the soul, but with His grace pushes it towards goodness and draws it towards His love.

And when the Lord wants to have mercy on someone, he inspires others with the desire to pray for him, and helps in this prayer.

Therefore, you should know that when the desire to pray for someone comes, it means that the Lord Himself wants to have mercy on that soul and mercifully listens to your prayers.”

What problems can be solved by going through a 40-day prayer service for childbirth?

It often happens that after fervent prayer for a family, children are born to infertile couples. Sometimes heirs appear to those people who have been living together for 10-15 years and have lost hope of becoming parents. Prayer for the clan cleanses the sins of the ancestors, and the clan can continue!

Prayer also clears fears and phobias, people stop worrying about trifles and feel more confident. Even such modern fears as aerophobia pass away.

Cleansing the race allows us to get rid of chronic fatigue, insomnia, and bad dreams. Even the clinical form of depression goes away, the main thing is to gain strength and endure 40 days of prayer!

It happens that family members get rid of alcohol addiction, but in the case of such a serious problem, it is better to continue the prayer service or start again after some time, for example, in a couple of weeks.

People's aggression and anger go away, many find a soul mate, and the fate of the younger generation - the children and grandchildren of those who read the prayer service - becomes easier.

In conclusion, I would like to recommend praying more often for your ancestors - those people thanks to whom we were born. You should thank them more often, mentally and out loud, ask God to forgive them all the sins that they have accumulated during their lives, and to grant them the Kingdom of Heaven.

Prayer for one’s family is one of the oldest traditions, but one that is not Christian

Now let's turn a little to an alternative point of view. Orthodoxy has existed for only 2 thousand years, but the belief in the power of race is much older than our tradition. A person’s relatives in most cultures acted as a person’s guardian, the source of his strength, and the spiritual support of the family.

Ancient people kept the skulls of their ancestors, the Chinese lived for three years at the graves of their deceased parents, and life in their native land, where their grandfathers and great-grandfathers were buried, was always perceived as a blessing.

The idea of kin is also strong in those traditions that today are commonly called neo-pagans. Take, for example, the Rodnovers, who already have “genus” in their very name.

Gender means a lot in pagan and neo-pagan cults. For example, it plays a special role in the beliefs of the Rodnovers. Photo: static.life.ru

We can observe something similar in Judaism. The idea of the ancestor Abraham means a lot to a Jew. Belonging to the Jews is already a claim to some kind of spiritual exclusivity.

Consider the beginning of the Gospel of Matthew, the only one written for a Jewish audience. Where does it begin? In order to tie Christ to the genealogy of the main Jewish patriarchs.

But Christianity took a different position. All questions of blood and inheritance are abandoned. Now spiritual qualities are at the forefront:

  • the main family is the Church, where the Father is God and the believers are his children;
  • the only blood that unites is the Blood of Christ;
  • the inheritance for the children of God is His Kingdom;
  • The merit of a believer is not the circumstances of birth, but the quality of the life lived.

Through this prism, the issue of genealogy no longer seems important. So can there be such a category as gender in Christianity? Is it permissible to pray to higher powers for him?

The Bible says that children are responsible for the sins of their parents, but there is no mystical meaning here

It may seem that a person is obliged to suffer for the sins of his ancestors. This idea is suggested by the phrase that children are responsible for the sins of their parents. But this is not some theological concept.

In a sense, according to Christian belief, all people suffer for the sin of Adam and Eve. But they “suffer” and do not respond. Responsibility presupposes that a person is guilty.

The actions of parents do not curse their children, but simply influence the circumstances of their lives.

In the Christian sense, it is more correct to say that the actions of parents influence the fate of their children. There is no mysticism, karma or generic program settings here, but simply a cause-and-effect relationship:

  • if a parent loses a house because of gambling, children will be born into poverty;
  • if the parent is an alcoholic, the children may have hereditary diseases;
  • if the parent is an uneducated and unspiritual person, the children have every chance of growing up as uncouth ignoramuses.

The worse the parent's lifestyle, the more the children will suffer. But this is not a theological, but an everyday truth.

In Orthodoxy there is a prayer for the dead, but it does not guarantee that it will be possible to atone for the sins of the family

In Orthodox Christianity there is no canonical prayer for the family as such. But its meaning is similar to prayer for the dead. Is this possible?

Undoubtedly. If a person died in the bosom of the Orthodox Church, then the Church allows us to pray for him.

You can pray for the deceased if he was in the bosom of the Orthodox Church.

“If I pray for the whole family, does this mean that God will have mercy and forgive my family? Will my relatives go to heaven? Orthodoxy does not give a clear answer to this.

Let’s say a prayer for a living brother or mother makes sense, because God can enlighten them, heal them, and give them a chance for correction. What is a dead person? He has already made his choice, lived his life. Is not it?

Not entirely, for Orthodoxy believes that the fate of the soul is not decided until the Last Judgment.

So can we make an impact? Is it possible to pray to cleanse the souls of family members from their grave sins? Is it reasonable that a sinner will enter the Kingdom of God not for his own merits, but through the prayerful efforts of his relatives? The Bible does not teach this, to which priest Dimitri (Shishkin) has the following objections:

“In addition to the Holy Scriptures in the Orthodox Church

there is also the concept of Sacred Tradition,

that is, the concept of truth, which continues to enlighten us,

teach not only from the pages of the Bible,

but also by the example of the life of holy people,

their “word, life, love, spirit,

faith, purity" (1 Tim. 4:12).

The same Holy Spirit teaches us through the saints,

By whom the Church was created and by whom lives in all its conciliar fullness.”

Dmitry Shishkin

priest

It is Church Tradition that Father Dimitri refers to when he asserts that it is permissible to pray for the dead.

“Prayer for the dead, especially fervent prayer, filled with love and selflessness, is pleasing to God and, so to speak, inclines Him to mercy towards the one who prays and to the fulfillment of His request.

We find much evidence of this in the New Testament. Thus, the Lord Himself says: “Whatever you ask in prayer with faith, you will receive.”

(Matthew 21:22)

In the video below, Archpriest Vladimir (Golovin) says that prayer for the dead is what we can do for them, which means we should:

Prayer for the deceased: prayers

Remember, Lord, the souls of your departed servants, the newly departed, and all those who have not yet died: on this day, at this hour, at this moment, those who have departed from this world in the hope of the Resurrection, in fire, in water, on the road, from frost, from famine. those who died without repentance and communion and laid down their lives for the Orthodox faith, orphans, beggars and needy loved ones to pray for them, elders, elders, ascetics, ascetics, forefathers, fathers and mothers, our brothers and sisters and everyone who asked to pray, You weigh the names, O Lord. Remember all those we remember (names). Rest, O Lord, the souls of Your servant: our parents, brothers and sisters, all of whom we remember here (names). Lord, rest the souls of my spiritual fathers, mentors, teachers and all those who served me (names). Rest in peace, Lord, the priest who performed the holy sacrament of baptism and confirmation over me. Lord, rest the souls of all my brothers who have helped me in word, deed and love. Lord, give rest to all, the beast has eaten them, the serpent has been bitten, the lightning has killed, the fire has burned and the earth, scattered, has been received. Lord, rest in peace all those who in the air, in the midst of oak forests and deserts, seas and mountains, ice and earthquakes, have passed away their lives and their names are unknown to anyone. Rest in peace, Lord, on the battlefield for faith and the Fatherland, those who laid down their lives and all those buried in caves and those who died from hunger. Rest in peace, O Lord, who on this fortieth day are brought to You by the Guardian Angels for Thy Judgment, and who at this hour are separated from their bodies. Mother of God, Intercessor of all the orphans and the poor, be the Mother of the souls of these departed servants and bring Your Son to the Throne. Jesus, Merciful God, give rest to the souls of Your servants, for we now create a memory of them. Amen.

interpretation Schema
-Abbot Savva (Ostapenko) 1898-1980 Nikolai Mikhailovich Ostapenko, the future Schema-Abbot Savva, was born in 1898, November 12 (O.S.), on St. John the Merciful in a simple Christian family in the Kuban. His parents Mikhail and Catherine were pious people. His mother, having eight children of her own, gave the last food to the strangers who came to the house. It’s hard to believe, but it really was so, and to my husband’s question: “Katya, again, you didn’t leave anything for the children?!” - the wife answered with confidence: “God will send!” And the Lord did not leave them without their daily bread. Parents made pilgrimages to holy places and took their children with them. Thus, from an early age, children were accustomed to a pious Christian life. Little Kolya loved these trips very much. He reverently listened to the ringing of bells and monastic singing in the church, venerated the miraculous icons with bated breath, and humbly stood through long services. From the age of six, the boy was sent to a parochial school, and learning was easy for him. He served with pleasure in the church and sang in the choir. All this gradually led Kolya to the desire to serve God. It is not surprising that the child said: “When I grow up, I will be a monk!” One winter, having almost drowned in an ice hole, he caught a severe cold and fell ill. At night he did not fall asleep for a long time, looked at the ceiling and suddenly saw himself in priestly vestments. -My heart rejoiced indescribably. After that, I quickly recovered,” Father Savva said, recalling his childhood. Once, secretly from his parents, he even wanted to run away with a pilgrim monk, but he persuaded the child to wait a year or two. But he had to wait for more than a year or two... Years passed, his cherished desire was not fulfilled, but he continued to diligently and fervently pray to the Lord. -The main thing is prayer, prayer is everything! “Prayer will conquer everything, and prayer will answer all questions,” he often said later. Young Nicholas knew the Holy Gospel well, and especially loved to reread the Gospel of John. While reading the Holy Scriptures, his soul felt so sweet and good that he forgot about the earth and earthly things. At the age of thirteen, Nikolai graduated from a 2-year school, at sixteen he was drafted into the army ahead of schedule, and the imperialist war began. The service record says that in 1917 Nikolai Ostapenko already served in the ranks of the Red Army. And after the Civil War, he graduated from a military technical school with the title of military technician and worked in his specialty. Until 1931 he served as a foreman engineer at Gorpromstroy. In 1932 he graduated from the Moscow Construction Institute and until 1945 he worked as a civil engineer. One can only guess what is behind these dates. Almost half of my life is lived in the world. And how was Nikolai able to preserve, like an unquenchable lamp, his faith and love for the Lord?! How carefully this fire was preserved, if it was not extinguished either by the terrible twenties or the darker thirties... The priest himself recalled that during these years he loved to go to cemeteries, especially to Vagankovskoye. Apparently, only there the old way of life remained unchanged, just as human birth and death remain unchanged. There, on Vagankovsky, at the grave of blessed Nicholas, the future schema-abbot Savva not only prayed, but also preached the Word of God to those who thirsted for it, who needed it. Around the same time, Nikolai Mikhailovich met schema-nun Maria. This old woman deserves a separate story, but here we will briefly say: with the blessing of the Optina elder Father Nektary, she was sent to the Shamordino monastery. By the will of God, she later became close to Elder Fevronia and became her cell attendant. Let us add that Mother Mary had the gift of clairvoyance. She also brought Nikolai Mikhailovich to the Elder of Athos, Schema-Archimandrite Hilarion, who was then serving in Lianozov. The elder accepted the future schema-abbot Savva as his spiritual child. “Father,” Nikolai Mikhailovich asked Father Hilarion, “bless me to take secret monastic vows.” The monasteries are all closed... -Don’t rush! Monasteries will open, and then you will not take secret monastic vows, but open ones. You will live in the Lavra. In those days there was no talk of any opening of monasteries, but the war changed everything. It brought great sorrows and trials, and brought the terrible face of death closer. Through grief and loss of loved ones, people turned to God. It so happened that shortly before the start of the war, Nikolai Mikhailovich broke his leg and therefore worked on the construction of various structures in the rear throughout the war. War is over. And finally this long-awaited hour has come - the Trinity-Sergius Lavra and several theological educational institutions have opened. Nikolai Mikhailovich was then 48 years old. It would seem that it is too late to start life over again, especially since the best part of it (by worldly standards) has already been lived. But nothing could stop the future elder. Having successfully passed the exams for the Theological Seminary, he sat down to study the Wisdom of God. Recalling his educational years at the seminary, Father Savva said that, while studying the sciences offered there and especially Theology, he tried to understand everything and perceive it with his heart, therefore he answered the questions asked by the teacher in essence, as he understood with his soul and heart, as he had to him to watch in life. Nikolai Mikhailovich completed the seminary course in three years, instead of the required four. The rector of the Epiphany Cathedral invited him to serve together at the relics of St. Alexis. But the long-standing dream of a monastery for many years did not leave the future schema-abbot, and he refused this invitation. Monasticism is a reasonable and free feat of man, a struggle to achieve Christian perfection. It is based on the holy Gospel. True, the word “monasticism” does not appear there, but the essence of monasticism is spoken of in many places. Subsequently, Father Savva wrote several books about monasticism, including “On monastic tonsure” and “Answers to questions about monasticism.” These works contain a lot of useful advice and instructions for new monks. The elder generously shared the experience of his monastic work. And this generosity was invaluable in those years when patristic literature about this was not published. And finally, Nikolai Mikhailovich Ostapenko is accepted into the brethren of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. For now a novice. This period was short-lived for the future elder. He carried out his obedience diligently, with God’s help, avoiding temptations and enticements. And this is not surprising: his entire long life preceding this was aimed at achieving perfect service to God. Soon, the abbot of the Lavra, Archimandrite John, petitions His Holiness the Patriarch to tonsure Nikolai Ostapenko to the monastic rank. The blessing for tonsure as a monk coincided with the day of remembrance of the great saint of God, St. Seraphim of Sarov. Father Savva loved him very much and secretly dreamed of bearing his name. But the Lord judged differently: when he was tonsured, he was given the name of Savva of Storozhevsky (Zvenigorod), a faithful disciple of St. Sergius of Radonezh. So from the “conqueror of nations” (Greek translation of the name Nikolai), the priest became a “slave” (Arabic translation of the name Savva). Having embarked on the path of perfect service to God, the monk becomes a voluntary slave, accepting sorrows and reproaches, enduring trials and temptations. “You took a vow of chastity in order to acquire the dominion of the spirit over the desires of the flesh. You took a vow of obedience to make it easier to fight self-esteem and pride. You took a vow of non-covetousness in order to cultivate in yourself complete unselfishness and dispassion for earthly goods... To be a true follower of Christ means to crucify passions, that is, to weaken them, suppress and completely eradicate them, to mortify oneself to the world, to enslave the body to the spirit, and this can only be accomplished with the help of God with the constant hard work of yourself on your inner man,” wrote the priest. The priest’s life in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra coincided with a difficult period of its restoration. Being obedient to the housekeeper, he had to not only supervise the construction, but also do the most difficult and dirty work. Seeing the maturity and rich life experience of the housekeeper, the abbot of the monastery gives Fr. Savva’s new obedience is to be the confessor of the pilgrims. Thus began the elder’s pastoral ministry. One can only guess how his soul grieved when faced with the abundance of human sins. -What lawlessness they commit, how they insult the greatness of God with their sins, what severe punishment awaits them in the afterlife! – he often lamented. Father was oppressed by the fact that people’s hearts are far from repentance, they do not know eternal life and salvation. The elder’s spiritual children remember that he never scolded for vice, but tried to reveal and show the confessor all the abomination of the sin he had committed. And only occasionally did he sharply denounce, but then immediately apologize for the harshness. Tormented hearts found consolation from a kind and wise priest. “How many sincere tears and lamentations there were during the confessions conducted by our spiritual father!” – his spiritual children later recalled. “Let’s get down on our knees,” he would say, “and pray with tears.” Let us ask the Lord to forgive our sins, our mistakes, and a sea of tears flows from the eyes of those confessing. While singing “We sing to You, we bless You...” the priest again interrupted the confession, asking everyone to kneel near the lectern, and prayed with tears. In one of the conversations with his successor, Bishop Benjamin, Father Sava was given 4 main covenants: 1. In order to lead the people and be a wise and experienced mentor, one must read a lot of patristic books. 2. Do not write letters to anyone, even relatives, on everyday topics. 3. To be the last among the clergy, i.e. despise ambition, do not strive for rewards, honors and advancement in rank. 4. Carry the cross complacently. Father Savva kept these covenants all his life, receiving a huge number of people, having more than 7 thousand spiritual children. It was they who supported their spiritual father in moments of sorrow and trials, it was they who went for their priest from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra to the distant and unknown Holy Dormition Pskov-Pechersky Monastery. In the monastery, Father Savva faced responsible obedience to the dean. From the very first days, he proposed, following the example of the Lavra, to introduce a daily fraternal prayer service before the shrine with the relics of the Venerable Martyr Cornelius, and after the evening service to read akathists daily in the church. For those who came to Pechory for the first time and were not aware of the history of the monastery, he wrote the book “A Brief Description of the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery.” This is how the days of Father Savva passed in labor and prayer. Not everything was smooth in his monastery; there were people who did not understand his pastoral ministry. Several times Father Savva was even forced to serve for some time in the parishes of the Pskov diocese, but, in spite of everything, he returned to the monastery, which was under the patronage of the Most Holy Theotokos. “Whoever makes excuses and tries to prove that he is right will perhaps find justice, but only by doing so will he violate God’s plans for the healing of the soul! He who seeks peace cannot have the Spirit of God dwell in him. Where there is sorrow, there is God.” People came to Father Savva from all over the country. What did they find in Pechory? Love and consolation, repentance and forgiveness. And they responded to the love of their spiritual father with the same ardent and devoted love. Almost all of his books, instructions and teachings are aimed at one thing: to make a person think that he is a servant of God, and only by turning entirely to God can one see the world as it was created by its Creator. And then, seeing all the power and grace of God, say goodbye to your wrong life and start a new one. About this, the priest wrote a book, “The Fruits of True Repentance,” in which he spoke in an accessible and simple way about what confession is and how to prepare for it. As through contrition of the heart, crying is necessary to break with sin, feeling all its abomination. “If we constantly regret our sins and repent, then the Lord will send abundant tears and repentance, the soul will cry along with the body, and these tears will be the best gift to Christ... And this must be done quickly, before it is too late. We don't know how long our life will last. And there, behind the coffin, if we cry, then the tears will no longer be able to console us, but will burn us like fire,” he said in one of his sermons. Father Savva considered it necessary for a Christian to study his soul in depth. Sobriety drives away the enemies of our soul, as the holy fathers believed.” “You say: “I can’t, I don’t have the strength to fight a sinful thought”... But is that true, my friend? After all, your conscience says something completely different: it does not demand the impossible from you... it only tells you: “Drive away sinful desires from yourself,” but this is possible; Only you have become so friendly with sin that you are sorry to part with it - so you say: “I can’t,” and deceive yourself... and how do you decide to think that you know your strengths better than the Lord God Himself? He alone, our Creator, knows our strengths and abilities and measures the temptations allowed to us against them; and our job is to fight sin while there is the breath of life in us...” There is so much kindness and love for us sinners in these instructions of the priest. There are so many patient explanations of God’s Wisdom in his books! Let's open his advice, read the daily rule that Father Savva offers to his spiritual children and other Orthodox people. The first is to be fair and impartial in everything down to the smallest detail. Secondly, never, even jokingly, deceive anyone. Third, be selfless even in small things. Look for opportunities, wherever possible, to be useful to someone. In all troubles, judge yourself more harshly and be lenient towards others. Never joke or make fun of anyone. Never say anything good about yourself and forget yourself for others. Be silent rather than speak, listen to others and avoid arguing if possible. Always try not to be idle. Don’t get excited, and if you feel that anger has so mastered you that it’s hard to overcome yourself, then immediately shut up and, if possible, leave.” This small work contains not only practical advice: how to behave in the evening, in the morning, how to behave towards the Lord God, how to communicate with other people, how to behave in misfortune, but also much more. Father devoted enough space in this book to the advice of the holy fathers, their sayings on certain issues. And isn’t it surprising that after the death of schema-abbot Savva in 1980, hundreds of people gathered in Pechory to see off their dear spiritual father on his last journey. There was not a person who came into contact with the priest who would not have been comforted next to him. For everyone, Father Savva had a word of love and wise instruction. -What was your spiritual father like, schema-abbot Savva? - they asked one of the spiritual children. “He created love,” was the answer. That is why the lamp on the elder’s grave in the God-created caves of the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery never goes out. And on the day of the Elder’s Angel, and on the day of his blessed death, despite any difficulties, his spiritual children gather in the holy monastery in order, together with the brethren of the monastery, to celebrate the Divine Liturgy for the deceased shepherd, so that with unity of spirit, in the union of peace, with one heart and with one mouth to praise the Lord, who gave them such a wondrous shepherd.

You can read an akathist for 40 days for your family and give alms

But even if we have hope for God’s mercy for the dead, how can we atone for the sins of our family if we do not know the names of all our ancestors?

To do this, Priest Igor (Silchenkov) suggests reading the akathist “On the Repose of All the Dead” in front of the icon of Christ for 40 days, for which you need to take the priest’s blessing.

The priest also recommends giving alms, thinking to yourself: “This is how I pray for my family.” In addition, you can pray for living and already deceased relatives by adding appropriate words to the usual prayers. You can listen to all this in more detail in the video below:

But there are no specific Orthodox prayers for one’s family. In relation to relatives, it is easy to find prayers for their health and well-being, for the merciful Lord allowed people to write many such appeals to Himself.

You can pray to Jesus Christ for your family. Photo: kolobuga.ru

There are many non-canonical prayers for the forgiveness of sins of this kind. Orthodoxy does not welcome their reading. It is better to support the deceased family with prayers in your own words than to voice other people’s writings that are not accepted by the canons of the church.

Prayers from the Internet were written by people who have a poor understanding of the Orthodox canons. These are more conspiracies and fantasies than real prayer requests. One of these prayers even gained popularity. It sounds like this:

How prayer helps: 3 of its beneficial properties

“Merciful Lord and Righteous Judge, punishing children for the unrepentant sins of their parents up to the third and fourth generation! Have mercy and forgive me, my family, my living and already deceased relatives and my entire deceased family for the great and grave sins of apostasy, for the crime and trampling of the Council oath and the kiss of the cross of the Russian people for allegiance to God’s Chosen Royal Family, for treason

and betrayal to death of the Anointed of God - the Holy Tsar Nicholas Alexandrovich and his entire Holy Family, for renunciation of God and the Orthodox Faith, for persecution of the Holy Faith and the Church, for destruction

and desecration of the Temples of God, shrines and one’s Orthodox Fatherland, for idolatry and veneration of godless holidays, rituals, idols, symbols

and the ideals of the satanic religion of the atheists, for all suicides, murders, witchcraft, fornication, debauchery, swearing, blasphemy

and all the abortions committed in my generation, and for all other grave sins, blasphemy, blasphemy, filthiness and iniquity committed by my generation from time immemorial, about which You weigh all, O Lord.

Do not leave us to perish in our sins until the end, but weaken, leave, have mercy and forgive me, my family, my parents, my living and deceased relatives, my entire deceased family.

Resolve the bonds of sin and untruth, tear apart the oath by which we are bound for our iniquities, remove the curse for these terrible sins from me and from all my family. Amen".

As you understand, the words “abortion” and “foul language” do not exist in Orthodox prayers, and addressing Tsar Nicholas in this context is completely ridiculous. Reading such works can only be considered blasphemy.

Special prayers for the family are a fiction.

Here is another “prayer” - a fiction:

“Lord, I apologize to everyone whom I, wittingly or unwittingly, offended in this life and in my past lives.

Lord, I forgive everyone who has offended me, willingly or unwillingly, in this life or in my past lives.

Lord, I apologize for all my deceased relatives.

Lord, I apologize for all my living relatives.

Lord, I ask forgiveness to all people who, wittingly or unwittingly, in word, deed or thought, were offended by my ancestors.

Lord, I ask You, cleanse, heal and protect me, my family and my entire family and fill me with Your Power of the Holy Spirit, light, love, harmony, strength and health.

Lord, I ask You, cleanse my family.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen".

So use official prayer books and do not trust third-party resources that promise to “Orthodoxly” cleanse the aura and increase the power of the family.

What is prayer? Prayer is a tool. Our Ancestors praised the Gods, but did not ask them for anything. We were engaged in SLAVO-words, therefore we are Slavs. Doxology is the creation of special vibrations, because language is given to us in order to glorify, that is, to WORD the resonance of attunement with the Gods (certain energy) with the help of words.

Prayer is a vibration series associated with a certain hypostasis: either we turn to a specific God who controls specific elements, or to one of his manifestations - protection, help, support. This is a technique of attunement with certain vibrations. When we are attuned to this vibration, we appropriate this Power for our evolution. When a person believes, when he has an inner conviction that the object to which he is turning will help him, help and support come. At the same time, it doesn’t even matter whether we speak in our own words or without words, just a mental message and a mental touch to God works miracles. It is important from the Soul, with understanding, according to CONSCIOUSNESS, then prayer works very powerfully. And here it is important to accept these vibrations. Often a person is not ready to accept high vibrations if he lives for a very long time in low ones: aggression, anger, irritation and internal negativity. Praying means we tune in to the vibration of God and use His Power. Therefore, the prayer must be glorified, said, and not spoken (go - image, thief - steal. Steal images).

COMMANDMENT OF THE Slavs:

It is sacred to honor your Gods and Ancestors and live according to your Conscience in harmony with Nature.
What does this mean: To honor sacredly is light, Light.

Honor - chi - the energy of life, thief - appropriate - appropriate the light power of the Gods for yourself, unite with them and become one with them, do not grovel before them, do not servile, but simply this recognition that we are one and the same with them.

To glorify is to glorify their power and use it for our evolution.

Living according to your conscience is a common message: do not do to others what you do not wish for yourself.

Living in harmony with nature - harmony is a relationship with natural vibrations .

We offer you here several of our native prayers to appeal to the Gods.

And remember that what is important is your intention to hear the Gods, to accept their Light.

I believe in the Most High Race - the One and Many-Manifested God, the Source of all that exists and bears, who is the Eternal Krystal of all Gods. I know that the World is a Rod, and all the many-named Gods are united in it. There are different prayers for the living and the dead, but there are no special ones, like prayers for a living brother.

The Church of Christ makes people family not by blood, but by spirit. Therefore, family ties for prayer are of secondary importance.

Siblings may not be as close to each other as people who share a common faith. However, there are also opposite examples. But this is only in cases where people’s faith is insincere. Let's not be distracted by this.

The Internet is replete with various prayers for a brother, for an uncle, for a father-in-law, etc. There is no point in being deceived. Canonical prayers in these cases will be the most common - for a person. The presence of family ties does not matter. Looking for a special prayer is unnecessary.
